There is a little pond at the coffee shop my friend and I meet at in the Tan Binh District of Saigon, Vietnam. There are about 3-4 turtles in the pond. My friend’s son loves to look at the turtles.

This area is where the sheep that will be slaughtered for halal meat are penned. The halal mutton is then shipped to halal restaurants across Saigon, Vietnam.

Landing, Touch and Go, 13 L, BFI

I am flying the Cessna 152 at Boeing Field International Airport in Seattle, Washington. Runway 13L is the “small” runway used especially for training. Normally I spend one hour in the pattern doing about 10 touch and gos. The hour goes by real quick. Flying is fun.

This is a normal scene in Saigon during the rainy season. This photo was taken at the park in Pham Ngu Lao. The storm caught many, including me, by surprise. Makes for a nice cool evening though, one of the benefits of the rainy season.

Yeah, that was the first thing that came to my head when I saw this in Cu Chi a couple weeks ago. I think this is the famous weasel that eats the coffee beans before, umm, pooping it out and serving it as coffee.
