Well, I do listen to quite a wide range of music genre and strange as it may sound to you, I don't really care what music is on the play. It seems like, I am able to appreciate and even adore music that are even labelled by some as "unusual".

Music is part of my daily routine to spend the day and let it pass by. But as much I do want to listen to music all day, I have to consider taking some rests when it comes to absorbing decibels. Ears' (eardrums) are irreparable, the medical experts say. They have to be protected as much as possible. Hence the use of earplugs.

One thing though, these items are bound to die out quite often times - like, in about 6 months or so, depending on the quality aspects. It is a good thing that there are sources to buy them, online or via physical stores.

The next time I would be buying one, I think I would be looking at musicians earplugs at MF. Their items look decent and elegant. Why not?

Thinking of studying how to play guitar

So I was sitting in my room last night, thinking about the next best thing to develop or maybe enhance when it comes to passion for arts - music at this point in time. Why not study a particular instrument, I told my self.

For one, I can start studying how to play guitar since I've been wanting to learn it ever since I was in elementary grade. My uncles all play this intrument, including a number of my cousins in the mother side. But not me. I really love to learn it but I don't know, I really did not have the lucky chances to delve on it that seriously.

For some strange reason, I was able to learn playing a bamboo flute. But not guitar.

Now I am thinking of really investing on a guitar piece that I can really call mine. In doing so, I can focus more on really studying the thing. At the moment, I am contemplating over guitar center north olmstead to own my very first instrument. I can't wait til this weekend to see how my brother would react to it, since he is also one of the people in my family who constantly encourages me to learn how to play guitar.

Thinking of Getting New Headphones for my mobile phone

I am the kind of person who is quite meticulous when it comes to owning audio accessories. I always make sure that those items that I buy are within my own list of so-called "Okay" stuff to keep. I made this kind of keeping things up because back in many years ago, I did experience something undesirable involving a local headphone product.

I won't be naming it but I bought the accessory in Japan. It was not an authentic Japan product though. As far as I know, it was an import from a neighboring Asian country. In just less than two weeks, the said headphone began to emit weird sounds while in use. It was like a squeaking sound obviously distracting the music I was playing.

From then on, I became a bit choosy on what headphones should i get every time I come to a point where I have to get a new set.

Fast forwarding today, I made it a rule not to settle to simply something cheap and at the same time low performance headphones. After all, it is for my own audio entertainment so I why should I deny myself from getting the satisfaction that I want?

Planning to buy a string instrument

This is kind of becoming like a pressing matter that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I need to lay down my plans regarding my intention to buy at least one string instrument in the coming weeks or so.

My first item on the list is a ukulele. Small one for the beginner or sort like. I think it is not bad to start from the bottom again. It would be smoother for me in terms of transition.

It has been quite a while since I played a guitar, so the starting over should be well-planned.

For now, I will be scouring the web for possible sites selling guitars. Foremost in my list is gold tone. I need to take a deep look at it and then take note of my priority items for my future buying rounds.

According to a news published by HNGN, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has just urged dog owners to be very careful when giving foods or maybe treats to their pets. So much so, people should be aware of any xylitol contents of the foods that are being given to dogs.

Xylitol usually comes as a sweetener in sugar-free gums. They can give fatal consequences when consumed by dogs, the FDA said.

In the news as well, years of data showed there has been an increase in the incidences of pets that were poisoned by Xylitol. It has risen from 82 in 2004 to more than 3,700 in 2014, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' (ASPCA) Animal Poison Control Center said.

So if you are fond of giving treats to your dogs, be mindful of the foods' xylitol content.

Xylitol is safe for human consumption but it does not go the same way when it comes to canines. Once the substance gets into their body, it goes quickly into the bloodstream. It may lead to a realease of insulin from the pancreas. (Source: FDA)

Rekindling my passion for guitars

Playing a musical instrument, particularly guitar used to be my ultimate dream back in my childhood days. Perhaps, it was due to the fact the most of my maternal uncles are guitar players. So, the pressure and the growing passion was there.

I tried to ask them to teach me the basics of playing a guitar, and they did like what usual elders would do to their nephews or nieces.

Luckily, I was able to learn playing the instrument. Unfortunately, I was not able to continue nourishing my skill because of my changes in hobbies. Buying my own guitar was kind of hard back then. So, since I am also inclined to painting, I dedicated my time to making posters and the like.

Fast forwarding things, my love for guitars suddenly came back because of our advances in media technologies. These days, YouTube is all around and people with amazing guitar skills can be seen all over the place.

I told my friend about my rekindled love for guitars. He said, "well, you can always buy one for yourself. There's a lot of variations out there in the market, you know?"

I said, alright, let's see!

At the moment, I am contemplating on buying a Ukelele, acoustic, or maybe a moog guitar since I am also a fan of electric guitars.

In the coming weeks, if time permits, I will be buying one of those guitars in the nearby mall.

In an exclusive product event, Canon successfully launched Pixma Printer today, October 18 in SM North Edsa City Style (Annex) Cyberzone Events Area. It was participated by key people from the media and common users, as well as bloggers and tech enthusiasts.The program started from 4:00 pm and ended at around 7 pm.

Following his triumph over Joshua Clottey in the Pacquiao vs Clottey Fight last week, Pacquiao's American coach is now eyeing for the next contender and he made a short revelation. Roach said that if the fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. will not push through or can't be worked out, Manny Pacquiao might be facing the undefeated Valero.

“I've been watching him a little bit. I know he's a big puncher. He's a southpaw and does pose some difficulties. He's better than just a guy who could punch but I think that's the best marketable fight out there for us," Roach told BoxingScene.com’s Rick Reeno.
The American trainer said arranging a fight with the Venezuelan boxer is more feasible instead of one with Mexican Antonio Margarito.
"He [Margarito] has no license. They said we could fight in Mexico but that's not going to happen… Valero is licensed in Texas. If we do Valero there, we could sell out the whole place. You don't have to close half of it down,” said Roach.
“The number one contender in my mind right now is Valero,” he stressed.
Roach also said he is also open to having another match between Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacquiao had 2 close fights with Marquez. The first bout in 2004 ended in a draw while the second fight 3 years later ended in a split decision in favor of the Filipino.
"Personally, that's the fight I want. Nacho [Beristain] is a good trainer and we're competitive, and I'd love for Manny to knock him [Marquez] out," Roach said.

Joshua Clottey did not demand for drug testing for Manny Pacquiao like that proposed by Floyd Mayweather Jr., while their possible fight was in the prime of negotiation. Since the match did not push through due to disagreement in the testing setup, the Pacquiao vs Clottey fight surfaced up.

Ghanaian Joshua Clottey did not push for the drug testing due to the belief and deep respect that Manny Pacquiao is a sport and does not cheat the whole boxing discipline.

Perhaps Clottey didn't ask for further drug testing because the Lone Star State has lax drug testing rules for boxers. The Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation won't be drug testing the boxers before and after their bout, a spokesman told the Daily News. The 26 years old Yamaki had an acute subdural hematoma in his 8-rounds loss against Ouchi.

He remained unconscious after the fight and underwent emergency surgery at a Tokyo hospital to repair the brain damage. Born in Saitama Prefecture, Yamaki made his pro boxing debut in October 2003.
He was ranked 11th in the latest rankings in the Japanese flyweight division with a 7-9 record, including five knockouts.
