This dessert is very famous in Kelantan. there are divided into 4 colours which are red, green, white and chocolate.Red is for glutinous rice, green is the kueh, white is the coconut milk and the chocolate is for the red sugar. All this will combine in one plate before u can eat them together.

Homemade Akok

Akok is a Kelantan famous sweet cake is suitable for breakfast, coffee-break, afternoon break and break fasting. Akok can be found at Pasar Siti Khatijah Kota Bharu. It made mainly of eggs, coconut milk and brown sugar. Because of my family likes Akok very much, so I try to make it by myself. The picture above was my first tried.

Ingredients:

1 cup of flour
two glass of coconut milk (size : exactly like evaporated condensed milk tin) or one glass coconut milk + one glass of plain water.
five eggs
one cup of brown sugar
a bit of salt
pandan leave's water/green artificial
1 tea spoon of vanilla essence
one spoon of butter/cooking oil

Preparation:

Mix gently all ingredient together. Make sure the concentration of batter is light. Pour in into muffin tray. Bake in oven with 200 degree within 5 minutes.

step 1:

Separate the egg yolk and the white egg in different bowl.(4-5 eggs)

step 2:

Bit the egg yolk and white egg separately
step 3 :
mix them together in one bowl an add a cup of flour and a cup of milk.Don't forget to put a bit of esen vanilla.
step 4 :
melt a bit of butter in a pan and pour it into the bowl.Then, on the waffle baker and don't forget to put a bit of butter on the waffle iron. step 5 : Bake the waffle for 3-5 minutes.Then put the waffle into the plate and u can have any flavor that u like such as strawberry, peanut butter and chocolate.

Now is ready to be eaten...hehe

Both of the pictures above, is my first son name Khairi Irfan Bin khairil Rizal. He studying in 4 Mualim at Sek Keb. Sri Kulim. He is 10 years old now. He like drawing very much. Every time he comeback from school, he will draw something. Normally he draw cartoons such as sponge bob, ultraman, bomblebee and etc.

This is my third son name khairi mikail Bin khairil Rizal. He is only one year old. His birthday is on 21 of Disember 2009. He like pen very much.
