Most of these tumors are found only once they have become large enough to cause a noticable problem. A typical first sign that there might be a problem can be swelling of the belly. Sometimes the tumor can make the person feel ill or vomit.<br /> <br /> Treatment often involves a combination of therapies that include surgery, chemotherapy, and, in advanced cases, radiation therapy. Usually with this approach, cure rates are now 85-90 percent.<br />Nearly all patients undergo surgery as the main method to remove the tumor.
