Funny DIY Sumo Wrestler Plastic Bottle Bowling Pins

Thanks to this easy DIY tutorial you can organize a cool bowling game without leaving home! Just make these cute sumo wrestlers, get a ball and play! The materials are plastic and paper bags (to cover your work area), a plastic cup, a stirrer, 6 empty plastic bottles, craft paint, a paint brush, a sharpie marker, Mod Podge, a foam brush and a ball. First, prepare your work area and protect kid’s clothes. Then mix up your skin tone color (red+white+some yellow), pour your paint into each bottle and shake them to distribute the paint. Pour out any extra paint, leave the caps off and let the paint dry overnight. After that the real art begins: you’ll need to paint the outsides using black and white paints. Finish with drawing the face with a sharpie marker and protecting your paint job after all with Mod Podge. Enjoy!

The place that you see on the pictures below is a children’s play room in Biblioteka restaurant in Russia, Saint Petersburg. Once I saw it I felt that I just could not miss it and share it with you because this room has an incredible design by Yeka Haski, an artist of Finnish origin living at Saint Petersburg. I can’t even pick one favorite thing in this space… I like everything from a light green children’s slide to cute stools looking like amanita mushrooms, from rainbow around the window to the most adorable clouds on the walls and cloud pillows. The room is filled with light and color and looks really cheery, lovely and childlike! Adore!

One of the most amazing things about summer is that you can enjoy fresh berries. And today we’re sharing some DIY idea how to make a basket to put berries in it. It may be a simple gift for friends or just an addition to your picnic basket. The supplies: paper plates, food coloring, scissors, double-sided tape, a pencil, a ruler, Q-tips, cotton balls (or paint brushes), water, mixing cups, string. First you need to mix water and coloring together, paint your plates and let them dry. As it’s done, make the template for the basket, make some cuts and folds as it’s on the pictures below and carefully attach the folded pieces together with double-sided tape. String can be added as an embellishment. Fill with berries and enjoy!

In summer time children like to play outdoors. And a pair of enormously lucky grandsons got an unbelievable treehouse, which was built exclusively for them by their grandparents. That takes the cake! This is a multi-level treehouse completed with decks, pitched roofs, a suspension bridge, and a zip line. The arboreal mansion is based on steel posts which don’t harm the giant pecan tree growing through the entire structure. Adorned with a myriad of found objects and antiques, the treehouse is a fantastic combination of formal architecture and child-like imagination. I still don’t believe that such a treehouse exists in reality!

DIY Sweet Summer Sundress For Your Girl

This dress with a cute chevron print is perfect for the summer: it’s open enough, so it wouldn’t be too hot in it, but not too short and with straps that make the top extra tight and comfy. To make one like that you’ll need fabric (1 to 2.5 yards depending on size, length and width of fabric), elastic (¼ to ½ inch wide), scissors, ruler, measuring tape and other basic sewing supplies. First you need to measure your kid around the widest part of the chest and multiply this by 1.75 (this’d be the width). Then cut the main dress pieces: ruffle, straps, belt and elastic.
