Yes, but be careful. I think she is probably in a vulnarable situation and needs to have someone ANYONE around. Ask more questions before proceeding. Don’t be shy this is your life and you need to know her true intentions. You must play hard to get, if you want it to last this time….make her work for it, and make her commit to you if this is what you want!!!

Congratulations America, today is the beginning of a new season of HOPE for our country…

Our show which brings a message of "Uniting Races Through Laughter" is coming to the airwaves in what seems to be God’s perfect timing!!

We are so grateful for your interest in our show. Everyone has been emailing us asking how the show went so I wanted to send a quick overview!!

Our Sho– wtime Taping on Sunday January 18th at the El Rey Theater was SOLD OUT!!!

We had beautiful audience which included many celebrities like Jimmy Smits, Wanda De Jesus, Dorian Gregory, Shondrella (Napoleon Dynamite, The Secret Lives of Bees etc), Amaury Nolasco, (Prison Break, Transformers and more), Jennifer Morrison (House) Dr Brian and Susan Evans (DR 90210) and many many more..

Maria Conchita Alonzo, who did not think she wouldbe able to attend, she had a prior commitment ….but she made a great effort to be there for the opening of the show…. that meant the world to us!!!

We are so grateful to you because we admire your work and having you there inspired the cast!!!

The cast did a stellar performance: Amy Anderson, Nadine Rajabi, Jill Michele Melean, Kira Soltanovich, The Ambassador of Looooove VALENTINO, Thea Vidal and ince we have a free trade agreement with Canada…Nikki Payne!!!! LOL

The show was PURE MAGIC!!!

The hard work of all involved: Executive Producers Scott Montoya, Neil Marshall supplied great sets and amazing lighting as well as a totally professional production.

Executive Producer David Albert Pierce was at hand making sure all was good to go!!

Thanks to amazing friends like: Birgit Muller, Karen Allman, Genea Sobel PR, Charlie Lapson, Danny Oliva, Dave Cobert, Mark/Carmen Steffens, Bonnie Rodezno, and Maria Bravo for going the extra mile to fully support our show!!!!!!

Also to EVERY SINGLE one of you who attended our live taping…We are forever GRATEFUL!

The Future….We are shooting until beginning of APRIL (behind the scenes on each performer and some hilarious sketches)

Once we deliver a final cut to SHOWTIME we will be given an AIRDATE!!!!!

As soon as we have a confirmed air date we will have a PREMIERE party (hoping for mid April for the party) for all our fans, supporters, celebrities, press, family and friends so that you can view the finished 90 minute Hot Tamales Live Special and spread the word!!!

Upon my arrival from a very successful run of shows in NYC, I had a revelation, right in the middle of the night, at about 3:00 am. I heard a voice I immediately sat up in bed to listen…"You are to unite all races through entertainment and laughter" the Godly voice said to me. I was not sure I heard correctly or if I was hallucinating but I figured that is what I was doing, uniting races, showcasing women in comedy and making a lil’ difference in the world. Since then I have felt the magic of God in my life and my performance. I am not alone, I am blessed to be able to serve God and through my talent and my shows attempt to unite mankind.

In Albany this past September 29th, I did just that. I arrived in Albany NY two days prior to my debut show at the Palace Theater. In this particular town no one knew me. I went on a small Radio tour ONE day prior to my show an sent God’s message to all radio listeners and to the surprise of the theater and all present the audience packed the house but it wasn’t just any audience it was a totally diverse audience something the Palace theater executives admitted they had never seen before with one show! The Hot Tamales Live brought out all races and all ages to the show. It was a huge success and everyone got it, everyone loved it and everyone felt touched by the miracle of laughter and unity. I have always known our show was blessed and this was a perfect example. To go to a town and make a small difference, if only for one night.

On October 2 I went on to perform at the very high profile CHCI conference (Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) in Washington DC, at the prestigious Warner Theater. There were more than 2,000 in attendance.

This event brings out the most powerful people in politics (Congressmen and women) In Entertainment and in overall business. The most powerful Latinos are in that room and the most powerful people that want to get to know them. I was worried, I was told we had to use COMPLETELY CLEAN material and although, I am a pretty clean comic, comparatively, it always makes you second guess your material?

This was the most important performance of my life thus far; I enlisted the help of famed comedy writer Jon Macks for political jokes. I had no props, no Brazilian Dancers, no show to fall back on just Kiki Melendez, would have to bring down the house… Cheech Marin was the Host and he introduced me. Ladies and Gentlemen from the minute I walked out on stage it was pure magic… It was pure ecstasy, they got me… they really loved me. All my new political Jokes worked…"Wow, tonight you guys have Carlos Mencia, Cheech Marin, Lisa Alvarado, Alex Reymundo…You just know Lou Dobbs is waiting outside dying to deport us!!" …."Do you like my outfit?…. It’s from the Oscar De La Hoya Collection!".”Tonight you folks have the Mind of Mencia and the Body of Melendez". The crowd was amazing, the energy the love they gave us. It was one of the most gratifying and confirming experiences of my life. It made me love what I do. It made me feel like I had what it takes and the talent that one needs to truly make it in this business. My husband John. (who had shown up the day before to surprise me, he was not scheduled to be there), admitted he was incredibly proud and teary eyed at the response of the audience!! Next up, I was invited by the President of the

to the DR GLOBAL FILM FESTIVAL on November 14, and then it is off to The HBO Comedy Festival at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas this Saturday November 17th. The rest will be history!!! I am on a mission to unite mankind through laughter…I am blessed and I know I am backed up by the big guy upstairs so there is no stopping me now!!!

The critically-acclaimed Hot Tamales Live has been featured on E!, Access Hollywood, The Insider, Inside Edition, CBS, Telemundo, Univision, NY Daily News, Viva, Latina Magazine, Entertainment Studios, and much more. The show has been the “Pick of the Week” in the Los Angeles Times since February 2005 and is a Los Angeles Women’s Theater Festival Maverick Award-winner. Kiki Melendez has received the “Key to the City” By Mayor Perez of Hartford, Connecticut this past May.

Kiki Melendez, who co-created the show with “Desperate Housewives” Star Eva Longoria said, “The show is multicultural and we celebrate diversity. We have been successful at establishing a showcase for women but we also include talented men. All ethnic groups are represented, which makes it fresh and new. Our show is infused with sketch comedy, dancers and a host which gives it a “Latin Flavor”.

A few years ago, the Pharmaceutical companies conducted a nationwide study, and the survey said Latina’s Don’t PMS!

Writer and Creator Iris Silverio realized this was obviously a misconception. “Women in the Latino Community do not speak about this subject, it is sort of taboo and so the results concluded that Latina’s Don’t PMS….yeah right!” says Ms Silverio.

It was then, Iris Silverio developed the critically acclaimed show “Latina’s Don’t PMS”, which was presented at The World Famous Apollo Theater for "Women’s History Month" in March of 2006, there it achieved a track record of complete sold out performances!

The Honorable MAYOR PEREZ , Presented Kiki Melendez with a Key to the City and a Proclamation for the Hot Tamales Live at The Bushnell. Cinco De Mayo, 2007 was "KIKI MELENDEZ Day in Hartford Connecticut"!

The Honorable Mayor Perez and His Wife present Proclamation to Kiki Melendez. The Hot Tamales Live! at The Bushnell was a HUGE Success! We had a very competitive night with all the events for Cinco De Mayo yet the turnout was great!!! The Cast was amazing: Rachel Fienstien, Sara Contreras, Monique Marvez, Ruperto Vanderpool, Kira Soltanovich, Julie Goldman,Valentino, and Roz brought the audience to a standing ovation!!
