The Thursday forecast calls for clear skies, sunshine and mild temperatures, which means a perfect day for skiing and riding! Our groomers are ready and they plan to have all of our snow surfaces in top shape for you to make some turns and grab some sunshine.

We plan to be cruising all the way to Skyeship base down 3,050 vertical feet on the freshly groomed Great Eastern trail. Thanks to our incredible Mountain Operations team, we expect to be offering 473 acres for all ability levels, with fresh grooming on 67 trails in total. So come on out in the morning for first tracks and get some corduroy! In addition, recently renovated trails include Caper, Upper Skyelark, Bear Claw, Lower Bittersweet, Bear Trax and Lower Skyeburst, so head that way for the newest snow surfaces.

We plan to offer terrain across six peaks served by 14lifts including the K-1 Express Gondola and the Skye Peak Express Quad. Key lifts are scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m. The Skyeship Express Gondola Stage I and II will open at 9:30 a.m.

Upper Bunny Buster, Upper Skyeburst, Lower Needle’s Eye, Panic Button and the Highline Race Trail will be closed to the public for events. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Temperatures have been low, skies have been clear, and the sun has been shining at Killington. We have been taking full advantage with snowmaking and grooming throughout our more than 450 open acres!

The snowcats will be taking to the mountain on Monday night, so expect 66 of our open trails to have fresh corduroy on Tuesday morning. Our snowmakers will be blanketing Snowshed in white Tuesday and will continue to touch up the terrain and improve our surfaces.

Tuesday will see skiers and riders cruising down 3,050 vertical feet all the way to the Skyeship base. Great Eastern will be freshly groomed, as will Superstar, Header and Cascade, just to name a few. It has been a weekend of bluebird skies at Killington, and the forecast for Monday calls for more of the same! Temperatures are also expected to be a bit warmer, so look to be carving down our 3,050 vertical feet in softer snow.

Snowmaking conditions have been excellent at Killington, and our Mountain Operations team has risen to the occasion as usual. Snow guns have been blazing on favorite trails like Great Northern, Great Eastern and Skyelark. Keep an eye out for more evidence of snowmakers on Mouse Trap, Superstar, Lower Cascade and even more spot guns throughout our 400+ open acres.

After a Saturday of sunshine, we are ready to kick off Super Bowl Sunday with more blue skies!

The low temperatures and great snowmaking conditions have kept our Mountain Operations team busy, as they have snow guns set up throughout our 400+ acres of open terrain. For Sunday, look for snowmaking on Outer Limits, Skyelark, Upper Snowshed, and favorite cruisers Great Northern and Great Eastern. Lower Yodeler is also on the schedule for some snowguns, and trail renovations will be ongoing across our six peaks, so expect even better snow surfaces on trails like Wildfire.

It doesn’t end there – the snowcats will be prowling all 3,050 vertical feet, leaving wall-to-wall corduroy on 69 trails for your carving pleasure. So get out on the mountain early, because with Saturday’s dusting in the mix, you’ll want those first tracks.

Friday was a beautiful bluebird day at Killington, and the forecast for Saturday is sunshine as well!

Low temperatures at Killington have brought our snowmakers back, and they’ve been busy! Look for snow guns on Outer Limits, Snowshed Slope, and Great Northern as the Mountain Ops team works to freshen trails across our 400+ acres. They also have been renovating Wildfire and Skyeburst, so expect new surfacing on those trails just in time for the weekend.

Low temperatures at Killington have brought our snowmakers back, and they’ve been busy! Phil has come through for us again! The groundhog with the weather savvy predicts 6 more weeks of winter, and we’re ready for it.

Killington has seen low temperatures sticking around, which means the snowmakers plan to be out and about on Friday. Keep an eye out for snow guns on Outer Limits and Snowshed Slope, in addition to spot guns on Great Northern and throughout our 400+ open acres.

News and Events:
With low temperatures scheduled to stick around for Sunday, the snowmakers will be out and about touching up trails! Look for snow guns on Skyelark and Bittersweet, not to mention early morning corduroy on 68 of our open trails. We’ll be keeping some terrain natural, too, so come out early if you want some of Mother Nature’s finest.

We plan to be skiing and riding all the way down to Skyeship base on 45 miles of open terrain for all ability levels. Think six peaks with everything from natural stashes to corduroy covered groomers to 4 terrain parks, with a total of 91 trails scheduled.

Highline Race Trail, Upper Bunny Buster, Needle’s Eye and Lower Skyelark will be closed to the public for events. The Superpipe will also be closed as Killington hosts the Gatorade Free Flow Tour athletes, so come on by and check it out! Thanks in advance for understanding.

The Dream Maker Terrain Park debuted for the season this weekend with 15 features, and The Stash, Mouse Run and Timberline parks remain open with nearly 80 features total! And if you’re looking for Mouse Run, come shred it before it’s gone – we plan to close our early season terrain park soon.
