Looks like colder temperatures will be rolling back into Killington early next week and we're ready to resume snowmaking and get the season underway. Check out the snowmaking photos and video from two weeks ago.

Lots of snow remains on the upper portion of Killington Peak and all we need are 48-72 hours of sustained cold to provide top-to-bottom skiing! Check back often for updates, or visit the Killington Insider for all the inside information.

Jib, Jab and Jive with our first rail jam of the season on November 7. The Back To SHRED rail jam kicks off at 11 a.m. and takes place at the K-1 base area.

Killington Resort will open for Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Killington will offer Blue Square (more difficult) and Black Diamond (most difficult) trails only. No Green Circle (easier) terrain will be available. Ski access to the base of K-1 will be available, however, skiers and riders are strongly encouraged to enjoy the Northridge Area and only return to K-1 base when necessary. Some walking will be required on the bottom portion of the mountain. Early season conditions exist and snowmaking operations may be in progress.

If you have purchased a season pass or Express Card and do not yet have it, or have not returned your Express Acceptance of Risk form, please stop by the Sales Center at Snowshed Lodge before heading to the slopes.

The Back To SHRED rail jam kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday at the K-1 base area.
