Puppies!!!!

As I’m sure most of you know, I have puppy fever and I have it bad! So, it didn’t help much to have seven 6 week old Husky pups in the studio yesterday. Yes, my puppy fever is in full force, but it’s hard to resist these faces! These pups are so gorgeous and they are AKC Champion sired puppies.

Goodbye 2011. Hello 2012.

I can’t believe that it is already 2012. Last year just flew by! I was sitting in my office at the studio today, and I couldn’t help but think back on what a great year we had in 2011. A lot happened… a lot of good things! We grew our business in 2011, met and photographed a lot of new babies and dogs, worked on our skills with the help of many special people, launched a new site for our studio mascot, Abby, and we had a great time doing it!

Thank you to everyone who made our 2011 a fabulous year. There are too many to name, but, first and foremost, we have the most fabulous clients in the world!!! We thank you so much for supporting our studio since we opened our doors two years ago, and we would not be where we are today without you. A big thank you to Life+Dog Magazine for believing in our work and letting us photograph for you every month… what a dream job! Another special thank you to Barbara Breitsameter of Poppy Blue Photography for being such a terrific friend and mentor. Lastly, thank you to Abby for being a great furry assistant and being the Cutest Bitch on the Block!

We hope you have a fabulous 2012, and if you need fine art photography give us a shout. We look forward to 2012 with you!

Check out Lucy and Ellie! These two were very excited for their photo shoot last week. Lucy was definitely a ham and tried to steal the spotlight from Ellie just a bit. Both these girls are absolutely adorable. Thanks Ashley for bringing them into the studio!

The Dixon’s Sneak Peek!

It’s getting to be that time of year as the holidays are rapidly approaching. But, since we live in Houston, we get a lovely 80 degrees for November. Not ideal for getting into the holiday spirit, but I guess we are pretty used to it!

Here is a sneak peek of the Dixon family. I know you have seen their adorable daughter, Pippa, and their two furry ladies, Frankie & Petunia, on our blog before, and now you get to see the whole family! Enjoy!

It is a day of sneak peeks today. This is Sally. Aren’t those ears just fantastic??? It doesn’t hurt that Sally is quite a looker either! We started with different couches, but we finished with the leopard and it was by far my favorite. Sally just looks so regal on this couch!

Fritz’s Sneak Peek!

How adorable is Fritz? He was a little shy at first, but he opened up and was such a fabulous little model! I love it when a dog lets you put them in pretty much anything… it really let’s me do whatever I want! Fritz was definitely up for anything.

Mochi’s Sneak Peek!

We don’t get too many kitties into the studio, but the adorable Mochi came in recently for his photo shoot. He is a gorgeous Persian kitty, and he is so cute and soft! Of course, he was very curious about everything in the studio, but we were able to lure him to pose with bottle caps and feather boas.

Blackjack’s Sneak Peek!

Blackjack is such a sweetheart and quite a handsome boy. He is also one of the most well-behaved dogs I have ever had the privilege to photograph. We were able to not only photograph him at the studio but also in action. Blackjack does agility with his mom, and he is so fun to watch! It really is amazing to see what he can do on an agility course.

Otis & George’s Sneak Peek!

How cute are these two?? George and Otis recently became brothers, and aren’t they just adorable together? Otis was pretty out of it during his shoot. He had gone to the vet and gotten some booster shots, the groomers, and then to the studio. He is just a puppy, so since he was a little wiped out, it made it pretty easy to photograph him. I love them on the green butterfly settee. Enjoy!
