In less than a week? PARIS!! Trying to get some last minute editing done before I travel to Paris to go to the Boudoir Divas workshop. :) I’ve wanted to go to this workshop since I got in to photography and now I finally get too. I’m so stoked! Anyways, just wanted to come share this image before I go cook dinner. Enjoy!

A few important notes

Since it’s on my mind and I actually have “for sures,” I figured I would come on here and discuss dates. :) I have will have very limited availability this summer. I will be unavailable for most of June. We will be moving to Wiesbaden!!! Can’t wait for that one. I already have a few awesome locations scouted out. :) And my parents will be here visiting in July and August. If you are interested in booking session, I would highly suggest contacting me ASAP so you can get on my calendar.

Class of 2013, just a quick reminder too, that yearbook deadline will sneak up on you. Don’t be like some of your 2012 classmates and wait until the last minute. We ran out of session slots last year. ;) AND I’m looking for K-Team members. If you’re interested drop me a line.

And, you know how the drill goes, a post is always better with an image. ;) This is Kailyn. She was one of our lovely models at our last Shop Talk get together. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Shop Talk Forum, you should!

Couple Casting Call

I’ve got another casting! :) I’m looking for a young, fun loving, easy going couple who can model for a mentor session on this Sunday April 1, 2012. No modeling experience is required. You’ll get 5-7 images on DVD for your time. Session will be in Nussloch at 5:30 pm (about 10 minutes from PHV or MTV). If you’re interested, please fill out and submit this form.

It’s coming back!

A little more each day I find that itch to shoot and to create is coming back. :) I’m a happy camper about that one. Over the weekend I was able to get together with two awesome photographers Cori and Jenn and go shooting. For the rest of our time here in Germany, I plan to concentrate more on the Shop Talk side of things. I love connecting and networking with other photographers, so I plan to do just that. This weekend we worked with two lovely models Kailyn and Justin. It was great having a male and female there to work with. We could see and talk about the differences in posing, facial expressions, etc. between the two sexes. This is just a sneak peek from the shoot. Be on the look out for more images in the next coming days. :)

Casting Call

The weather is gorgeous out and I want to go shooting! I’m looking for an attractive female, 16-30 years old, willing to model for a portfolio session. No modeling experience is required. You’ll get 5-7 images on DVD for your time. Session will be held on Saturday March 24, 2012 at 5:00 pm in Nussloch (about 10 minutes from PHV or MTV). I did it. I made the switch to the new Facebook Timeline on my profile and my fan pages (except boudoir. just need to design my cover photo lol). I love timeline on my Fan Pages! It looks awesome! :) Here’s to hoping Facebook will stop tinkering with things for a while. They always seem to switch something up after you just got used to the “old” change. lol.

Household 6 Diva

I feel incredibly honored that Ms. Household 6 Diva herself asked me to photograph her OpLove homecoming. It’s always an honor when another photographer “hires” you. About a month ago I traveled to Baumholder to capture their homecoming and made a friend too. :) During her husband’s deployment she held down the house with three kiddos, blogged on a regular basis (yeah I suck at this one lol), and volunteered and made a difference in her community. Since her husband’s homecoming, Ann Marie and I have kept in touch. I find her to be such an inspiration and full of positive energy. I hope we have the opportunity to get together again before she and her family PCS’s. OH! And if you’d like to see more images from their homecoming, head on over to the iamkimkravitz Blog.

I’m Famous!!

Okay, I’m not really famous, but I am featured on a big time blog! (you might have to scroll through to find my testimonial) Yay me!! I took the time out of my day to take a survey and give a review of a vendor I use, ProPhoto. They offer kick-ass blog templates. They are super easy to customize and take the stress out of updating/customizing my on-line “home.” Once you purchase ProPhoto, you get 12 free designs to play with. Yay Free! Their customer service is top-notch, as well. And it’s a one time purchase, no monthly fee. I highly recommend them! I think it’s pretty neat. Might just be me though lol.

In a sea of soldiers and family members, this lucky lady got to welcome home her soldier after his tour in Afghanistan this weekend. I’m so thankful I have the opportunities to capture these special moments for service members because of the Operation Love Reunited program.
