I have been spending time at "Return to Freedom" an American wild horse sanctuary outside Lompoc, painting to capture the beauty of the magnificent wild horses on the ranch. Myself, in conjunction with "Return to Freedom" and Kathryne Designs Inc., 1225 Coast Village Road in Montecito, will be having an artist's reception on Friday, July 15th and Saturday, July 16th from noon to 4 pm. I’ll be painting the wild horses on the front porch of Kathryne Designs. Myself and Kathryne Designs are donating 10% of all of my "Return to Freedom" wild horses paintings in the gallery at Kathryne Designs to "Return to Freedom." Representatives of "Return to Freedom" will be there so you can learn more about their ranch.

There will be an Artist Studio Tour Exhibit that will open April 23rd and run until May 17th. Most artists will exhibit one or two pieces.

Yellow Bird is a little bird perched on the hedge around our house. I think the bird is usually brownish gray but the light and reflections made it look yellow. It could be because of my rose colored glasses too. This 5x7 inch painting is available at Santa Barbara Arts $225 framed in a large gold frame.
