I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Shabi’s women’s clothing store in Toronto yesterday.

Not only did I have the honor of walking the runway for them in Toronto’s International Fashion Fest back in November, 2011, but they called me in to do a photo shoot for them for this season’s campaigns.

If you didn’t already know, I am also founder of Kapow Models, and 2 of my models from the agency were also graced with this honor, one of which also walked for Shabi’s at Toronto’s IFF, Amanda Forde. The other model was Ell Moyer, an upcoming Niagara model. We were also joined by model, Zehra Cheval.

We had a long day of shooting, but kept high energy with the fabulous company we were in.

Indescribably beautiful South Asian dresses & outfits that would have your jaw dropping were what we were modeling, including amazing purses, clutches and fabulously blinged out jewelry, so stunning you’d want to wear it to bed with you! LOL

All in all, it was a mega-productive day, with amazing shots by Seith Shahbaz, our photographer, who was equally as fun to work with.

We can’t wait to all get together again…we will definitely have to do that!

When I’m looking for a body lotion, I prefer ones that are non-greasy and smell amazing and “fresh”.

That’s just what I found to be true with Arbonne’s Unwind Aromassentials Body Lotion.

If you were all unaware, I am the founder of LivingPink.info for Breast Cancer. This past year, a local Arbonne consultant, Lesley Dionissopoulos, took part as a sponsor for the “Living Pink Through Fashion” Show for Breast Cancer at Crystal Beach, Ontario. I say all of this because, as a special thank you for taking part in this event, Lesley gave me and my assistants special Arbonne goodie bags! (Thank you, Lesley!)

One of the awesome things in my special bag was this body lotion. It’s made with chamomile for calmness and ylang ylang for relaxation, which is something I’m often in desperate need of! LOL To prove that statement, the show was way back in August, and I only just broke out my body lotion a few weeks ago now, and it’s end of January!

Anyway, this lotion, again, is non-greasy, and smells very fresh and “spa-like”. Not only that, it does a nice job lightly moisturizing. Great for when you just get out of the shower!

I would definitely grab another bottle of this body lotion again.

Needless to say, Lesley Dionissopoulos is an awesome lady, and is not only very friendly & helpful, is very knowledgeable in not only Arbonne products, but in natural & organic products. Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to try out Alyria’s Clarifying Cleanser that’s Oil Free from their Skin Optimizing System.

If you were all unaware, I am the founder of LivingPink.info for Breast Cancer. This year, a Toronto cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Martin Jugenburg, was a speaker at our “Living Pink Through Fashion” Show for Breast Cancer at Crystal Beach, Ontario. He spoke about new procedures for breast reconstruction for patients that have had mastectomies or lumpectomies. I say all of this because as a thank you for being a part of our event, he gave me and my assistants skin care goodie bags. (Thank you, Dr. Jugenburg!)

Anyway, this cleanser worked very well, and I really enjoyed it. In fact, it has lasted me since September and it is now end of January because you only use a small amount.

It lathers up in a fantastic way, which I love because I have a pet peeve of my face feeling greasy after washing it with some cleansers. It also smells fresh.

My face, during the time I was using this Alyria cleanser, looked renewed, younger, and was virtually blemish free the entire time.

I am impressed with it, and am a bit sad that it’s gone!!! I’m going to have to get some more of this stuff. It’s worth it.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you a beauty product I enjoyed, because we all hate wasting good money on products that just don’t work or you simply won’t like.

On August 13th, you will be able to catch some great pole vaulters competing at Crystal Beach, on the beach, as well as International Model, Kimberly Edwards, will be hosting the event in conjunction with the Crystal Beach B.I.A.

So, why have a model like Kimberly host this event?
Well, you may not know, but Kimberly coached a world-class decathlete in all disciplines, as well as coaching a high school women’s throws team in Dallas, Texas. In other words, Kimberly knows her stuff!

Also, being an athlete herself, attending university at Texas A&M and McNeese State University in Louisiana on softball scholarship, as well as previously being pitching coach at the University of Northern Iowa’s softball team, Kimberly loves the rough and tumble of sports in all shapes and forms. She is currently training in muay thai and boxing to compete, along with her fitness regiment.

If you watched City TV on Sunday, July 17th, you would have seen Kimberly Edwards co-hosting a fashion show, of Dea Fashion‘s swimwear with her very own jewelry line, “K, Turn Around” Jewelry on Festival Italiano di Johnny Lombardi.

Alongside Andrea Trentadue, Kimberly presented the new Dea Fashion designs for 2011 and a sneak peak of 2012′s designs.

On the runway were Ms. CHIN Bikini 2011 & Mr. CHIN Bikini 2011, Serena di Millo & Moonzir Butt, as well as Kapow Models‘ own Eunice Arbis showing off the beautiful designs. Kapow Models & Talent Agency was founded by Kimberly earlier this year.

Dea Swimwear is designed by Marco-Antonio Della Pia, who believes women should feel like goddesses, especially on the beach, and provides gorgeously luxurious fabrics and accents on bikinis of all colors, and specializes in mastectomy swimwear. Dea Fashion is an official “Living Pink” designer for breast cancer.

Long earrings were the trend on the runway, including long chain earrings in silver and gold with multi-colored hand-wired feather earrings, perfect for this season and all of it’s yummy colors.

Kimberly was wearing a gorgeous jean-dress specially designed for her by Monikova, with long silver hooped chain dangle earrings she’s famous for.

Seeing that I spend a lot of time in Texas, we eat a lot of Tex-Mex & fabulous authentic Mexican food, especially wonderful during Cinco de Mayo festivities.

What’s very unfortunate is that spicy food, topped with lime, mucho margaritas, or mucho cerveza can cause upset tummies, tummy aches and indigestion at it’s best.

So, for those people out there that love to celebrate Mexicano-style, Pepto Bismol could be the answer.
