Kimberly Ann Photography is proud to be a participating photographer again in the International Charity Model Search to select North America’s Cutest kid to raise funds for the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation. (NILMDTS.org)

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting parents and families who experience the tragedy of an early infant loss. NILMDTS connects families with volunteer photographers and provides them with a professional portrait session and reproducible CD of the images of their baby at no cost to the family. In 2009 AND 2011, Kimberly Ann took part in the search for America’s Cutest Kid and she took first, second and third place in the state of Wisconsin.  There was an overwhelming response to this contest and together, in the last few years, the contest featured over 2,600 model’s and raised over $200,000 for the NILMDTS organization.

Model Search Special:

There is a $35 entrance fee per child for sessions held at my studio or at a local outdoor setting of your choice (travel fees may apply if out of the area) These photo sessions include a 30 minute model session and one image submitted to the international gallery with the option to purchase additional portraits of your beautiful child at 10% off regular portrait prices.  

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Each vote is $1 (no limit on the amount of votes you can cast), and all proceeds from votes benefit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS.org). 

The top 25 vote receivers will move on to the final judging round to determine the winners for a chance at the above prizes and to win the title of Americas Cutest Kid 2012.  Grand prize winner and the runners up will be determined from the 25 finalists. The winner and runners up are selected by photography experts.

All Model Portrait Sessions must take place between January 31, 2012 and March 5, 2011 to be entered into the contest, space is limited so call now to reserve your session date.

AND AS AN ADDED BONUS, Kimberly Ann Photography will be adding her own contest and giveaway.  We will be picking “our” favorite image from each child’s session and posting it right here on the blog on March 15th for free votes amongst your family and friends.  The winner with the most votes will receive 50% of their order total back.  So, if your order total is $300.  I will cut you a check for $150.  If it’s $500, you will receive a check for $250.  ETC…. Now, how’s THAT for deal?

We did this a couple of years ago and we had a lot of fun so I wanted to offer it up again. I will be giving away a $200 visa gift card to the class of 2012 senior who has used my portrait services and who refers the most class of 2013 seniors my way and a $75 visa gift card for second place.

The rules….
1. I need at least 3 or more referrals from you to consider it a win.
2. The referred class of 2013 senior MUST schedule and complete a session by the contest deadline of Sept. 1, 2012 for you to receive a tally for that senior. Just calling and inquiring does not count.
3. The class of 2013 senior MUST mention YOUR name when they schedule the session. I cannot and will not track it all down for you. So make sure you tell your friends they need to use your name when scheduling. 
4. Contest ends September 1st and all referred seniors must have completed their session by September 10th. The winners will be announced on September 20th.  

Note: In case of a first place tie, first and second place prize will be totaled together ($275.00) and will be split between the 2 winners ($137.50 each).  In case of a 2nd place tie, two $50 visa gift cards will be awarded.

CLASS OF 2013… GET AHEAD OF THE GAME

We have already started a waiting list for some seniors from the class of 2013.  We will be calling and scheduling those seniors first and we will be doing that next week.  The week of January 30th.  If you want to get on that list for your first choice of session dates, send me an email at info@kimberlyannphotography.com and let us know you would like to be added on that list.  Otherwise, our Spring/Summer schedule will open February 1st.

Otherwise, we will start scheduling sessions for the Class of 2013 on February 10th.  Scheduling your session now is better than waiting until later as the deadline for senior pictures is here and gone before you know it and come summer Kimberly Ann Photography’s schedule fills up fast.  I am really looking forward to the Class of 2013.  I have lots of new ideas and my imagination has been running wild since finishing off with the wonderful Class of 2012.   They were an amazing class…. do YOU think you have what it takes to outdo them?  I can’t wait to find out.

Portraits 2011!!! 

Fine Print:

1) Everyone who books and completes a newborn session with Kimberly Ann Photography by April 15th will be eligible to win the Baby’s First Year Plan.
2) These sessions are weekday sessions only.  Additional fees may apply if weekend or traveling to your home is is outside a 25 mile radius from zip code 53120. Please contact Kimberly to discuss the details if needed.
3) This special offer is limited to a maximum number of participants and will end on April 1st, whichever comes first.
4) No shows or cancellations will forfeit the special offer.
5) All studio policies and pricing are in effect at the time of booking and is non-negotiable. Prints/products are sold seperatly and are not a part of your reduced session fee.
6) All participants must complete our policy agreement form that will be sent to you upon booking your session and your session fee will be due within 4 days of booking your session.
7) If this is not your first child and you would like sibling/family images and you are coming to the studio, please arrange for someone (possibly a family friend or a Grandparent) to pick up your older child after the sibling/family images are complete.  These sessions can take several hours and a young child will become restless and bored.

This was such a fun session and these 2 kids were wonderful.  Dad called and wanted to do a something special for his wife for Christmas.  So, he made an appointment, got the little ones all dolled up and brought them in for a photo session and this blog sneak peek is moms Christmas morning surprise.  And I am crossing my fingers that 4 year old Ms. C was able to keep the secret and I am hoping that she did not spill the beans. LOL  So, I am really hoping that this is still a surprise to mom as she is reading this right now and as I am telling her how wonderful and cute, cute, cute her children are and what a thoughtful husband she has.   

Anyway, thank-you dad for bringing them in.  Mary Ann and I had a really great time with them…. and mom, Merry Christmas.    I will call you after Christmas so we can help walk you through the next few steps and the ordering process.
