Welcome to Part II of Jackie & Griffin’s wedding. The amazing day took place at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort & Spa and if you missed part I, you should check the post out here.

The ceremony & reception were over the top thanks to Angela at Angelic Grove. It was beautiful.

During the ceremony a string quartet, String Serenade, greeted the guests with some gorgeous music. Cocktail hour music was provided by Jackie & Griffin’s DJ business, TheGig, and all the guest jammed out to the amazing talent of  the Shining Star Band at the reception.

The guest brought their puppies and they were some pretty stylish dogs if I might say.

The children were pretty cute as well!

During Cocktail hour I went out with Griffin & Jackie for a few more pictures.

The reception was GORGEOUS as well. When we walked in all of our mouths dropped.

One of my favorite cake shots i’ve ever taken. The gorgeous cake was made by  La Dolce Pesca, and I think was our favorite cake so far of this season… the cake is one of our favorite indulgences at a wedding:)

Total first that i’ve seen. During the garter, Griffin actually pulled Jackie off the chair. And then just picked her up with ease and put her back on.

Jackie sang a little song to Griffin and he loved it!

A while back when Jackie was much younger, her dad was watching TV and heard a stat that marriages last longer if the couples wait to get married until they are 27, so he turned to his little girl and made her a deal. He told her that if she waited to get married until she was 27 he would throw her a dream wedding that she’d never forget. So when Jackie turned 27 she took her dad up on the deal and began to put together her dream wedding. It was AMAZING.

Jackie and Griffin have been together for 5 years and they are truly in love. I heard Jackie say so many times during the day “I just love Griffin so much”. Doesn’t that just send chills up your arms? I love seeing couples who are head over heels in love with each other.

The wedding was held at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley. Angela with Angelic Grove helped with the planning and decorating and it was over the top gorgeous. Jackie & Griffin included their entire family in all of the events, but most importantly I think, was their 3 poodles, that were as much a part of the day as anyone else. Jackie owns Oh My Dog Boutique & Spa in Scottsdale, so the wedding was very dog friendly and guests were allowed to bring their dogs to the wedding. They were treated as well as any guest.

Lindsay & Nathaniel’s wedding is this Saturday and i’m so excited for it! I know I say this a lot with my couples, but i’ve really enjoyed getting to know these two!! From Chicago, their wedding will be a true destination wedding and it’s going to be gorgeous. I enjoyed their engagement session a ton!

I can’t wait for this weekend you two!!! Have a safe trip out here this week!

The reception was held on the Camelback Villa Lawn and was an outside reception so it was beautiful.

We loved every part of the night!

AJ & Paul hired Flamenco dancers to come and entrain the crowd. It was a crowd pleaser for sure.

They then got out and danced with them. It was great!

AJ & Paul had such an amazing wedding at the  Montelucia Resort & Spa. It was a true fairy tale wedding and we enjoyed the day so much!

I’ve loved getting to know AJ & Paul through this entire process, including getting to take their engagement pictures. They are so in love and I love how they interact together. It’s wonderful.

The entire day took place at the Camelback Villa, which is an amazing suite at the Montelucia Resort. Other than guys pictures, which were at Paul’s lovely home, getting ready, ceremony, & reception were all in one location, which made for such a low-key & perfect event.

Dawn, AJ & Pauls wedding coordinator, pulled off such a great event by pulling in an A team of vendors to work the wedding.

As always, we had too many favorites, so we are doing 2 parts of this wedding. For now enjoy the wonderful images of Getting ready, Portraits, and Ceremony!!

The Details were amazing. AJ’s dress, shoes, jewelry, and purse were beautiful.

I love the fans that Dawn picked up for the girls. It was record heat this weekend, and they were a welcome item.

I’ve had comments on the picture below that the camera malfunctioned. If you look closely you’ll see a leg randomly in the picture. The flowers were actually on a mirrored stand and we have the most random images because of it. I think it’s awesome.

We had such an amazing day. Thank you AJ & Paul for allowing us to be a part of it. LOVE LOVE LOVE you guys!

I love it when a couple hires me because they are addicted to my work. When I met Michael and Katie, Michael admitted that it was him that found me and him that wanted to look like the rockstar… I LOVE an honest groom. We joke that he is the Groomzilla, but in a very nice groomzilla way. Luckily for me, Michael and Katie are both rockstars and let me do WHATEVER I wanted with their engagement session, which let the creativity flow. I love it when i get absolute control and know that my couples are ecstatic about their session and trust me completely. I scouted for this session for quite some time, calling them and sending them pictures while I was out and by the time we got to the places we were all so excited! So much to love about this session, so enjoy!

We also had Serendipity Cinematography  join us during the shoot and create a “Save the Date” video for Michael and Katie. LOVE this!!

I could not love this couple more. Andrew and Andrea are super sweet and just plain nice people. I really like nice people!!

I was so excited when they said they wanted to take their pictures up in Pinetop, because that’s where I am from and I LOVE taking pictures up there. It gets me out of the warm weather in the summer and is so refreshing. We found some great locations and went all over. I love how these turned out.

I have so enjoyed getting to know Sam & Leor. Their engagement session was amazing and their wedding was ever so amazing as well! These two complete each other and I love getting to know couples that truly were made for each other.

Regan, with Imoni Events did such a great job running the show and pulling all of the last minute details together. The wedding was at the The Ritz Carlton in Phoenix and we got some very unique and different pictures because of the location. All of the vendors pulled off such a beautiful day!

The actual ceremony was all at night on the pool deck of the Ritz Carlton, so it was really a different and spectacular wedding.

I must also thank my amazing team Diana & Elise as shooters, they got some amazing images & Christy as an assistant. What a great day!
