Seeing the painted pigs in Seattle, the painted cows in New York, I said, “Dear God, when they do horses…CALL ME!” Then I got word that the Del Mar Foundation was looking for ten artists for ten horses. I submitted several designs and was given two horses of the ten to paint! So, this is Patriot, who was auctioned at the Del Mar Yearling Sale for $8,600.00. It is now displayed in Murrieta, CA, at a thoroughbred retirement ranch.

Ticket To Show was the second horse, and he auctioned as the highest bid horse at $10,000.00! He now resides in a tropical garden in Orange County, CA.

Both Patriot, and Ticket To Show, are life-size.
