Height: 28″ Width: 22″ I came upon a flower stand in Cortona, Italy, and while I was standing there, I noticed this charming alleyway and the laundry hanging in the window with the red towel. Now, we all know what trouble a red towel can cause in the wash!

Clay Mural of San Pasqual Valley

Height: 10′ Width: 6.5′ I took 85 lbs of clay, rolled it to 1″ thickness, carved it, and cut it into 96 tiles. Then it was fired, glazed, then fired again. Because I made a mold of every tile, I can reproduce it if needed.

Height: 8′ Width: 15′ A children’s room in La Jolla, CA, where every room in the house had a view of the ocean except the children’s room. Their view is now of the Serengeti. At night, when the lights go off, all of the animals’ lights light up!

Birds of Paradise Trio

Height: 12″ (ea) Width: 12″ (ea) This is a triptych of birds of paradise. Each section is 12″x12″x2.5″ with 2″ of space between panels. I just wanted to paint birds of paradise with lots of color. I really liked the colors and shapes of the birds of paradise so much that I wanted to do a series. I am very pleased with the outcome!

Del Mar Yearling Auction

I saw the painted pigs in Seattle, I saw the painted cows in New York, and I said, “Dear God, when they do horses…CALL ME!” I got word that the Del Mar Foundation was looking for ten artists for ten horses. I submitted several designs and was given two horses of the ten to paint! So, this is Patriot, who was auctioned at the Del Mar Yearling Sale for over $8,000.00. It is now displayed in Murrieta, CA, at a thoroughbred retirement ranch. Ticket To Show was the second horse, and he auctioned as the highest bid horse at $10,000.00! He now resides in a tropical garden in Orange County, CA. Both Patriot, and Ticket To Show, are life-size.
