File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is one of the most commonly used methods for file transferal between client and server. There are many FTP client programs available on the market and FileZilla is probably the most well-known one. FileZilla is a fast and reliable FTP client packed with many useful features and an intuitive user interface. Best of all, it is free.

File transfer with simple drag and drop

The main view of FileZilla is split into two panels. The left panel lists the file structure of your machine and the right panel lists the structure of the remote server. Transfer of files is straightforward. You just need to select the file(s) or folder(s) you want to transfer and drag to the other side. The file transmission will then begin.

Powerful Site Manager

I remember when I once tried to perform a download with another BitTorrent client, it was nearly impossible to run another application simultaneously because that BitTorrent client was far too "greedy". Unlocker - Delete Undeletable Files

Many users, including me have experienced the error messages "Cannot delete file: It is being used by another person or program" or "Cannot delete file: Access is denied" when attempting to delete or rename a file in Windows. Theoretically, the error occurs when the file to be deleted is being used by certain program or process running in Windows, but many times you have no idea which process is accessing the file and have no solution as to how to get rid of the file. Here, Unlocker is the solution.

Easy file deletion via context menu

Unlocker is a simple yet powerful tool. After the installation, all you need to do is to right click on the file you want to delete and select Unlocker from the context menu. Confirm the deletion and you’re done. For safety reason, if the file is really locked by certain process, a window will pop up with the process (es) listed. You can optionally unlock the file in the process (es) or to kill (terminate) the process directly. That’s all. You don’t need to run the process in safe mode or to restart the computer to make the change take effect. Just with a few clicks, annoying non-removable file is gone. Use carefully

Unlocker is so powerful that it can delete most, if not all, of the files you cannot delete through normal ways. For this reason, if you want to delete certain unknown file without success and you attempt to delete it with Unlocker, make sure you know the consequence of deleting the file prior to deletion. This is to avoid the removal of important system files required by your operating system as the missing of such files may cause serious stability issues. If you are uncertain, try to search with the filename in Google first.

I like the way Adblock Plus describe themselves in their product page: "Adblock Plus allows you to regain control of the internet and view the web the way you want to". And that's true. Adblock Plus is a Firefox add-on that prevents advertisement from appearing on web pages you view. With Adblock Plus installed and enabled those annoying Flash advertisements and banners that slow down page loading or distract you from browsing will no longer appear, known malware domains are blocked as well.

Adblock Plus allows you to configure what should be blocked by customizing its filter. There are already many filters maintained by other Adblock Plus users and you can subscribe the one that suit you best, or just to create yourself.

What if Adblock Plus blocks the sites that I want to view?

As said before, filter is used by Adblock Plus in determining what to or not to block. When you find a site not functioning correctly after the installation of Adblock Plus, you may change your filter or, define exception rules so that you can keep the current filter selected but with the desired site excluded from being blocked.
