KOP runs through thoughts and questions he wants answers to before NXT moves To USA Network LIVE every starting Wednesday, September 18th.

NXT has been a loss leader since the re-introduction at Full Sail. This move was eventually going to happen.  KOP considers how this could help AEW and the major Indies in the long run. Plus, could NXT and something like FCW happen again?

• Below are some of the many thoughts and questions we ponder:
• Can Mauro Ranallo mental health sustain doing 2 hours a week Live. Did we forget how he crashed doing Smackdown Live?
• A number of mid-card stars could make their way down there and really be used as enhancement talent.
• Why did USA Network decide to take on a second WWE show after losing one of them? What is the deal that was made for WWE to move that show.
• Are they going to allow the Orlando crowd to dictate the focus of NXT every week? Is the show going on the road and leaving Orlando?
• Will developmental talent be given less spotlight in favor of veterans?
• The NXT roster which will increase with overfill of the main roster creating a land of misfits.
• Will WWE's Performance Center signees get left off NXT because of the exposure? 
• Why not stop 205 Live and bring that talent to the NXT roster?
  Will the women on this roster get slighted?
• Will more stories start getting told badly with the inclusion of corporate creative?
• Will there be less pre-tape material shot?
• Will Full Sail still assist in production or take an aside?
• Could NXT ultimately fail and fold and then we get something like FCW again?

Aside from the brilliant booking of Bray Wyatt WWE Summerslam 2019 storylines had a bit more substance than most pay-per-views.

WWE has started the changes that Paul Heyman has instituted. The card with hall of fame stars and veterans helped. This is all part of WWE rebuilding its main roster.

WWE Summerslam 2019 will pale in comparison to the Christmas-like Wrestlemania back in April. WWE must continue to build new main eventers in time for October. For that Summerslam had to stay static, and the crowd won't like it.

Plus, KOP recaps NXT Takeover Toronto 2. The show did deliver great matches, but does NXT's direction really hurt WWE for their future call-ups?

WWE Summerslam Summons Veteran Superstars to Sell out Toronto and steer the tv product back on track in time for AEW TV and Smackdown (maybe NXT) on Fox.

KOP looks into some of the positive constructive changes that WWE has made. They look prepared for their new competition (AEW) and change SD to FOX) in October.

Bleacher Report says this about the upcoming Summerslam Card:

Although WWE SummerSlam 2019 should boast a star-studded card, it will be especially important for the event to deliver on August 11 in Toronto with the product being so polarizing at the moment.
It's no secret that WWE has had a tough time generating genuine fan interest for Raw, SmackDown Live and their pay-per-views for some time now. Although Stomping Grounds and Extreme Rules exceeded expectations, the two main brands have largely remained lifeless.
The SmackDown side of the SummerSlam card is bound to be entertaining with Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton rekindling their rivalry over the WWE Championship and SmackDown Women's champion Bayley and Ember Moon facing off for the first time ever. Raw's top matches could use some work, but either way, WWE will be facing unprecedented pressure to knock this show out of the park.

• AEW announces the premiere of "Wednesday Night Dynamite on TNT starting October 2nd.

The Monday Night Wars are moving to Wednesday nights. AEW's first challenge will be to outdo NXT. At this early stage, AEW is as popular as NXT. But, AEW has a lot of room for growth. KOP will analyze the big news day.

KOP outlines the WWE Creative Crisis of 2019: What's the Real Problem that WWE is choosing not to resolve. Can they fix this by October?

Before recording the show I dictated the following notes:

WWE is very bad right now, but we remember what WCW was like at the end of its run.

WWE had a plan when they were going to lose the star power that carried them to WrestleMania. In December, the McMahons planted the seeds by promising to give the fans what they want. They crowned champions that fans are behind but their opponents have become mostly the people we don't want to see them work with. Storylines are weak at best. The lackluster effort being made for their respective pushes are bad because these are not the people set WWE wanted to push. That's why the current champions are mostly mediocre across-the-board.

The past post-Wrestlemania gimmicks of celebrity guest hosts, Vince McMahon's Million Dollar Mania and guest general managers are over. WWE has nothing to cover the lack of main talent because they have kept wrestlers on the same level.

No doubt, WWE has brought in incredible talent into NXT. No doubt, Hunter is trying to bring in the best free agents. But, these are absolutely not the people that Vince wants. Because the NXT talent do not fit the classic mold of WWE Superstars who are bigger, stronger and larger than life.

All the wrestlers can validate being in WWE because they're getting the big league rub by being in WWE. Even if it's at a bad point. They are looking at joining the major independents someday.

But, now they believe there is a legitimate alternative to WWE. That there is a new promised land of big-time wrestling. Today, when a wrestler wants to come back to a major wrestling promotion after working in the major independents, they will come in with a chip on their shoulder. But, they are not going to opt right away to WWE. They might choose instead to choose AEW.

WWE Stomping Grounds is this Sunday. KOP explains how WWE is soft-shoeing into SummerSlam season. WWE is going down a hole of hollow and uncreative content.

KOP looks at the lay of WWE Creative. He offers a fresh perspective on what this feels like to long-time wrestling fans. Corporate influence is very destructive in any creative process. WWE has lost control of the creative edge that brought them success.

Former WWE creative writer Matt McCarthy recently gave his take on the We Watch Wrestling podcast and said:

"Vince is the one who wants them to say it verbatim. It's not the writers, the writers aren't the problem.

If there's a situation where we can collaborate, I think that that works. If there's something that talent wants to convey or get across then that's perfect. It works better if everybody understands and I don't think everybody understands, and this is from somebody who was there. It's like I was talking about before you don't know where Vince's head is going to be on any given day."

"Should there be no writers? There's too much to do for there not to be writers. You can't think of them in terms of like, 'Oh, they're writers. They write.' It's like, 'No, they also produce the segments.'

Put it this way: the amount of people that come and go in the creative team, part of it is, some people get fired, a lot of people quit because you get a lot of TV writers who come to that job and more times than not they all say the same thing, they go, 'Oh, this is not a writing job.' Because it's not.

You're not writing scripts, you're not figuring out storylines, you're not coming up over-arcing things, you're wearing a lot of different hats and the most difficult hat to wear is being that liaison between Vince and the talent."

While WWE Wallows in Weak Feuds, KOP has a Legendary Solution. A solution to lift the company out of the ratings gutter. It's pretty simple too!

KOP was on Twitter. He read a Forbes article by Blake Oestricher and he responded with this:

I wouldn't have a problem with Shane if he was more of a manager to build McIntyre or Elias. I've been saying some of the legends should come back as managers and carry the talent that cannot cut good promos. #WWE #RAW #SDLive #WWESSD #StompingGrounds.

As for the McMahon family. Vince should be made to look "out of touch" with the company direction. Hunter is the face and stuck in a
McMahon family triangle. Stephanie is left in a gray area torn between supporting her husband and her dad.

Make the scripted promos a focus. Superstars learn about last minute changes. They get last-minute scripts in their hands. Or they're being forced to read lines that will light the fuse for some heated feuds.

I don't see why you don't bring back Booker T, Mick Foley, Undertaker (under legends contracts already right). I'd even recommend MVP to come back and start up stables with the stars that need some shine. and mentoring. Over arc would be the
McMahon family triangle. Anyone agree/disagree?

-Kayla stood in the ring. Lars made his ring entrance. She asked what drives him to do the things he does. Lars asked: "Would you ever ask a nightingale why they sing their sweet song or why a lion methodically stalk their prey before sinking their teeth in the flesh and viciously ripping it apart? Then why would you ask what drives a man like me?" She tried to answer the rhetorical question, but he pulled the mic back and said he realizes he is no regular man. He said his entire life he's been described by one word. "Do you know what the word is, Kayla? Say the word!" he said. She looked reasonably intimidated. He said he's been called this word his entire life, so he can take it. "Freak," she said.
Lars took some deep breaths and said, "When a lion performs its primary function, people call it a lion. When I perform my primary function, people use that particular word. My primary function is to hurt, maim, dissect, vivisect, and dehumanize people!" He paced and then said his primary function is to show the fans the world isn't full of rainbows and sunshine, but rather real life freaks of nature like him. Kayla asked if that's what he hopes to teach Lucha House Party at Super Showdown. Fans began chanting "Lucha!" Lars laughed and asked Kayla if she likes nursery rhymes. "Three blind mice, watch how they run, watch how their caught, watch how their tails are ripped apart with my bare hands and the beautiful portrait that is painted with their bodily fluids."
