I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the service that the Coast Guard received this past Saturday night for the Coast Guard Ball from Coast Guard Island.

Mark was punctual / early for both pick-ups and was professional and courteous for 100% of the evening and his professionalism and cooperation were greatly appreciated!

When returning to Coast Guard Island there was extensive construction and Mark had to follow very complicated directions to get back to the base. He remained calm and relaxed while winding through Oakland.

This video shows the steps that happen at a vineyard in Scotts Valley, CA. First step is the crushing of the grapes. The crushed grapes are pumped into vats and yeast is added to start the fermenting process by changing sugars to alcohol. The skins of the grapes rise to the surface as fermentation happens and is called the 'cap.' The cap is pushed down to help give the wine color.

Sight-Seeing in San Francisco with King's Tours & Transportation!

Sacred Expedition - Originally home to the Ohlone people, San Francisco was devoid of European presence until 1775, when Spanish explorer Gaspar de Portola ventured on a “sacred expedition” to Southern California. In 1776, the Spanish founded the Presidio Army Base, and the Catholic Church began enslaving the native Ohlone people.
Gold Rush - In 1849, James Marshall discovered gold dust in a Sierra saw mills in Yerba Buena, turning San Francisco into the entrance port to “El Dorado,” or the legendary land of gold and riches of the West. Less than a year later, more than 50,000 people had come to San Francisco looking for fortune. Want to find your own gold? Cable Cars - In 1869, Andrew Smith Hallidie witnessed a terrible accident in which a horse-drawn streetcar slid backwards under its heavy load, killing all five horses. By April 10th, 1878, the California Street Cable Railroad Company officially went into service.
Earthquakes - On April 18th, 1906, a devastating earthquake struck San Francisco, leaving the city completely engulfed in flames. Hundred of thousands of individuals lost their homes as the fire ate through the city. San Francisco suffered another earthquake on October 17th, 1989, which cracked bridges and leveled several parts of the city. Despite suffering such extensive damage, San Francisco was able to rebuild again in order to keep its aesthetic qualities intact.
