Having your car keyed as they call it is very damaging this is not just a scratch that can be rubbed out it is a full on body shop repair which is extremely expensive. So there is no laid back attitude from me regarding this awful behaviour and it should be met with tougher measures within the law rather than a slap on the wrist and don’t do it again attitude taken by the courts. But cars being scratched on purpose is indeed very common be it at your home or just in a car park so to say this behaviour is limited to one place???
However, this is the society we live in and the criminals know they will get no punishment if caught. Therefore, they continue to make people’s lives a misery in the name of fun or just out of jealousy. They are cowards and would not behave in such a way if someone were watching them this is the only reason for the suggestion of CCTV.
We are all guilty of ignoring that car alarm or house alarm that keeps going off so what use are they really?

If more people reported bad behaviour and kept a watch on our neighbours things would be much better I am sure.
These criminals hide in the shadows they skulk about in the dark and creep around like animals but they soon run when a door opens or a light goes on. They are not to be feared they should be punished more severely for their crimes.
As a parent of teenagers, I know that if my kids were doing this they would be more scared of what I would do to them that anything the law would do. In addition, I believe this is where as parents we should all mould our children into respectful human beings. Because the swine’s who have been doing these things to Mr Holmes are somebody’s children. How proud their parents must be of what they have brought up.
And of course, if this is being done by adults and not kids then good long looks at their lives is needed or perhaps just try and get one. (A life that is)

…is now getting silly and irresponsible. The area near the New Barretts Sales Office has parking on the bend and the houses on the same side as the sales office are now also parking in the road, which effectively blocks the complete road. This needs addressing SOON.
