LSC-Kingwood to Sponsor Heart Walk and Fest November 14th

Area residents are encouraged to lace up their walking shoes and get ready to walk for a good cause when LSC-Kingwood hosts the American Heart Association Heart Walk and Heart Fest on Saturday, Nov. 14, 8 a.m. to noon at the Student and Fine Arts Building Outdoor Commons area on campus. Help raise money and awareness about heart disease and stroke by participating in the 5K Heart Walk. Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program and SAFE (Senior Adults’ Fun Events) announce tickets and transportation for a Houston Masterworks Chorus performance Saturday, November 14. Houston Masterworks Chorus is Houston’s largest independent choral group, founded in 1986. The chorus is dedicated to presenting a choral repertoire that includes classical to contemporary favorites. This season’s opening performance features works commemorating composer Franz Joseph Haydn and promises to be a musical experience that lifts the spirits of the performers and audiences alike.
