OOPS Features

The object oriented programming (OOP) is a programming model where Programs are organized around object and data rather than action and logic.

* The Program is divided into number of small units called Object. The data and function are build around these objects.
* The data of the objects can be accessed only by the functions associated with that object.
* The functions of one object can access the functions of other object.

OOP has the following important features.

Class:

A class is the core of any modern Object Oriented Programming language such as C#.

In OOP languages it is must to create a class for representing data.

Class is a blueprint of an object that contains variables for storing data and functions to performing operations on these data.

Class will not occupy any memory space and hence it is only logical

representation of data.

To create a class, you simply use the keyword "class" followed by the class name:

class Employee
{

}

Object:

Objects are the basic run-time entities in an object oriented system.They may represent a person,a place or any item that the program has to handle.

"Object is a Software bundle of related variable and methods. "

“Object is an instance of a class”

Class will not occupy any memory space. Hence to work with the data represented by the class you must create a variable for the class, which is called as an object.

When an object is created by using the keyword new, then memory will be allocated for the class in heap memory area, which is called as an instance and its starting address will be stored in the object in stack memory area.

When an object is created without the keyword new, then memory will not be allocated in heap I.e. instance will not be created and object in the stack contains the value null.

When an object contains null, then it is not possible to access the members of the class using that object.

All the programming languages supporting object oriented Programming will be supporting these three main concepts:

1. Encapsulation
2. Inheritance
3. Polymorphism

Abstraction:

Abstraction is "To represent the essential feature without representing the back ground details."

Abstraction lets you focus on what the object does instead of how it does it.

Abstraction provides you a generalized view of your classes or object by providing relevant information.

Abstraction is the process of hiding the working style of an object, and showing the information of an object in understandable manner.

Real world Example of Abstraction: -

Suppose you have an object Mobile Phone.

Suppose you have 3 mobile phones as following:-

Nokia 1400 (Features:- Calling, SMS)
Nokia 2700 (Features:- Calling, SMS, FM Radio, MP3, Camera)
Black Berry (Features:-Calling, SMS, FM Radio, MP3, Camera, Video Recording, Reading E-mails)

Abstract information (Necessary and Common Information) for the object "Mobile Phone" is make a call to any number and can send SMS."

so that, for mobile phone object you will have abstract class like following:-

Abstraction means putting all the variables and methods in a class which are necessary.

For example: - Abstract class and abstract method.

Abstraction is the common thing.

example:
If somebody in your collage tell you to fill application form, you will fill your details like name, address, data of birth, which semester, percentage you have got etc.

If some doctor gives you an application to fill the details, you will fill the details like name, address, date of birth, blood group, height and weight.

See in the above example what is the common thing?

Age, name, address so you can create the class which consist of common thing that is called abstract class.

That class is not complete and it can inherit by other class.

Encapsulation:

Wrapping up data member and method together into a single unit (i.e. Class) is called Encapsulation.

Encapsulation is like enclosing in a capsule. That is enclosing the related operations and data related to an object into that object.

Encapsulation is like your bag in which you can keep your pen, book etc. It means this is the property of encapsulating members and functions.

Encapsulation means hiding the internal details of an object, i.e. how an object does something.

Encapsulation prevents clients from seeing its inside view, where the behaviour of the abstraction is implemented.

Encapsulation is a technique used to protect the information in an object from the other object.

Hide the data for security such as making the variables as private, and expose the property to access the private data which would be public.
So, when you access the property you can validate the data and set it.

Real world Example of Encapsulation:-

Let's take example of Mobile Phone and Mobile Phone Manufacturer
Suppose you are a Mobile Phone Manufacturer and you designed and developed a Mobile Phone design(class), now by using machinery you are manufacturing a Mobile Phone(object) for selling, when you sell your Mobile Phone the user only learn how to use the Mobile Phone but not that how this Mobile Phone works.

This means that you are creating the class with function and by making object (capsule) of it you are making availability of the functionality of you class by that object and without the interference in the original class.

Example-2:

TV operation

It is encapsulated with cover and we can operate with remote and no need to open TV and change the channel.
Here everything is in private except remote so that anyone can access not to operate and change the things in TV.

Inheritance:

When a class acquire the property of another class is known as inheritance.

Inheritance is process of object reusability.

For example, A Child acquire property of Parents.

A Teacher behaves to student.
A Teacher behaves to his/her seniors.
Here teacher is an object but attitude is different in different situation.

Example-2:

Person behaves SON in house at the same time that person behaves EMPLOYEE in office.

The easier way to understand Abstraction and encapsulation is as follows:-

Take an example of Mobile Phone:-

You have a Mobile Phone, you can dial a number using keypad buttons. Even you don't know how these are working internally. This is called Abstraction. You have the only information that is needed to dial a number. But not its internal working of mobile.

But how the Mobile Phone internally working?, how keypad buttons are connected with internal circuit? is called Encapsulation.

"Encapsulation is accomplished by using Class. - Keeping data and methods that accesses that data into a single unit"

"Abstraction is accomplished by using Interface. - Just giving the abstract information about what it can do without specifying the back ground details"

Behavioral interviews are growing in popularity. Corporations like these behavioral interviews because they give them a glimpse of how the applicant will handle the issues they will face in the position.

Preparation is Vital for Behavioral Interviews

Without preparation, these job interviews are prone to mistakes. Recall can be difficult when put on the spot, especially during an interview.

If you do not remember specific examples of when you encountered these situations, you may struggle. Common mistakes at behavioral interviews include:

Overusing “um” or pausing frequently.
Telling stories unrelated to the question.
Trying to make up a story that is false.
Casting yourself in a negative light.

Q: Describe a Situation Where You Disagreed With a Supervisor.

A: Many jobs require a motivated self-starter that will seek out tasks and ensure they are on the right track.

Employers are not looking for someone that gets confused and does not look for help. Many questions will focus on your own personal responsibility and how you handled issues that arose while you were working alone.

Q: Describe a Time Where You Were Blamed for a Mistake You Did Not Make.

A: Personality plays a role in behavioral interviews. Employers want to see that you are well balanced person that knows how to handle themselves.

These types of questions are designed to see how you handled situations that can be very personally stressful. Try to share examples that reflect positively on all parties involved.

“Once I was blamed for not double checking marketing data, which drastically impacted one of our campaigns. Though I was not the staff member in charge of the data collection and analysis, I knew it would be unproductive to try to pass blame, so I simply asked what steps I could take to help resolve the problem. Afterward I spoke with the staff member in charge of checking data and let them know of the error so that both of us could ensure it would not be repeated.”

Once confusion prevails, one starts panicking. And with this panic negativity spreads like wildfire in the air. However it is not with negativity, but with positivity that you can actually face life. So read on to find tips to turn negative thoughts into positive thoughts.

1. The first thing you have to do is to take a positive outlook at life, and to devote more time for yourself. It is only if you are refreshed and constructive will you be able to overcome bleak times in life. Learn to find time for friends and family and to enjoy the company of others. Start volunteering as this is a great means of making positive use of your excess time.

2. The second tip is to educate yourself by reading newspapers and watching news so that you learn about today’s world. Meaning of the Color Blue

Blue is the overwhelming "favorite color." Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependable and committed. The color of sky and the ocean, blue is perceived as a constant in our lives.

As the collective color of the spirit, it invokes rest and can cause the body to produce chemicals that are calming; however not all blues are serene and sedate. Electric or brilliant blues become dynamic and dramatic, an engaging color that expresses exhilaration.

Some shades or the overuse of blue may come across as cold or uncaring. Blue is the least "gender specific" color, having equal appeal to both men and women.

* Aids intuition

Meaning of the Color Green

Green occupies more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye and is second only to blue as a favorite color. Green is the pervasive color in the natural world that is an ideal backdrop in interior design because we are so used to seeing it everywhere.

The natural greens, from forest to lime, are seen as tranquil and refreshing, with a natural balance of cool and warm (blue and yellow) undertones. Green is considered the color of peace and ecology. However, there is an "institutional" side to green, associated with illness or Government-issued that conjure up negative emotions as do the "slimy" or bilious greens.

How To Speed Up Your Windows XP

Step 1 : Remove unused software

You probably don’t use half the programs you have installed over time. Removing the ones you don’t need anymore can significantly speed up your Windows XP computer. To remove software:

Go to the Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel) and select Add Or Remove Programs. It may take a while for the list to load if you have many programs installed.
Going through the whole list, select programs you rarely use and uninstall them, one by one.
Restart your computer to see the changes.

Step 2: Use Less Graphics

Do you really need a wallpaper and the fancy animations when opening or closing windows? Disabling animations can increase the speed at which your computer opens and closes windows. To disable window animations:

In Control Panel, go to System and select the Advanced tab. Click the Performance Settings tab.
In the Visual Effects window, disable all the animations in the box, or simply select “Adjust for best performance” as shown on the screenshot on the right. Press Apply.

In the same Performance Options window, choose the Advanced tab, and press the Change button in the Virtual Memory area. From there you can change the size of your paging file – a file on your hard drive that acts as RAM. By increasing the size of your paging file, you can significantly increase speed, but be warned! Using your hard drive as RAM can cause damage to it, so it’s a good idea to buy a better RAM instead.

Step 3: Clean your Registry

You should regularly clean your Windows XP’s Registry to remove old errors that can clog up the registry. To properly clean the Registry, you need a reliable Registry Cleaner software. There are some free ones out there, but I would not be too comfortable with using them. Instead, buy a trusted registry cleaner program so for a little bit of extra cash, you can feel safe. I would recommend FixCleaner, which in addition to cleaning your registry does a number of other things to significantly speed up your Windows XP.

Step 4: Stop unwanted Startup programs

By disabling programs that are set to automatically open when the computer starts, you can greatly speed up your startup process – the time between turning on the computer and being able to fully use it.

Here’s how to disable Startup programs:

Click Run in your Start menu, type msconfig into the box and press enter.
Select the Startup tab.
Go through the list, disabling programs you don’t need by un-ticking the box left of them. Only disable programs you are sure you do not need, and I recommend not touching the ones in the WINDOWS directory.

Step 5: Clean up your hard drive

Performing a disk cleanup can free some hard drive space and also speed up your computer. To use the disk cleanup tool:

Go to Start -> Run and type cleanmgr.exe. Press Enter.
It will probably take a while, especially if you have never used this tool before.

Step 6: Defragment your hard drives

Defragmenting your drives can make a big difference in your computer’s speed. Defragmenting places files physically closer on the hard drive, making it easier and faster for the hard drive to read these files and write new ones. It is a good idea to defragment your hard drive regularily, so it alway stays optimal. I posted a tutorial for an automatic defragment like here:

There are also a number of commercial defragment programs available, which are more powerful than the Windows tool and come with a wide variety of features. If you don’t want to spend any money on this, I would recommend Auslogics Disk Defrag, which is a great, free tool.

Here’s how to defragment your hard drives using the built-in Windows tool:

In My Computer, right click on a drive you want to defragment.
Click Tools and select Defragment
Click the Analyse button first, which will analyse your hard drive and see how fragmented it is.
Once the report is finished and the system finds it necessary to perform a defragmentation, press defrag. This will take a very long time, but you have to be patient.

Step 7: Use a PC optimization tool to do the rest

There are a hundreds of other ways to improve your computer’s speed and performance but it is impossible to list all of them here or go through them manually. To fix them, you can either purchase a separate tool for each one, which will end up costing you a fortune, or buy an All-In-One optimization program that will do all the dirty work and fix errors behind the scenes for you. Going through all the steps mentioned above will definitely speed up your Windows XP, but running a professional tool even after following these manual steps will increase performance even further.
