Here we are with another BDSM Scenes Step-by-Step post. Today, we’re focusing on making DIY sex robot fantasies come to life with help of some sex machines. This simple, step-by-step outline gives you everything you need to make a fantastical robotic sex scene come to life with the reasoning behind it, how to modify it to fit your vibe, what stuff you need, how to prepare for it, how to do it, and safety concerns.

Now that I’m a less-baby Domme, I’ve been writing out these BDSM scene outlines for the past few years. Think of them as a quick scene starter to get your inspiration moving. Take what works for you and dump out what doesn’t. Let these outlines help you grow your confidence with being in charge until you, someday, are writing your own!

Now, let’s get into how to bring a DIY sex robot fantasy to life…

This Scene Is….

A real-life way to bring a fantasy about being fucked by robots (or machines) to life. We’re trying to remove as much of the human element as possible while playing up the “at the mercy of these robot” vibes.

Since we’re humans, we’ll never “really” remove all of the human aspects or truly be at the mercy of sex robots who just want to hump us. We can do some things to roleplay the scene, though, bringing some of those fantasies as close to life as possible. Just like using a Sugar Daddy website to try to find a sugar baby relationship, we’re using the tools at our disposal to bring desires to life.

The biggest hurdle for this kinky scene plan is the fact that it requires a sex machine. I have an entire article (Are Sex Machines Worth It?) that I highly recommend reading, but the basic gist is that super-cheap sex machines can be more frustration than fun. If your budget doesn’t work for a medium-cost sex machine right now, consider some of the automated toys I mention in that article as alternatives.

When I have played out this scene in my own bedroom, I’ve used two separate sex machines. As long as you still do the work with dirty talk and scene setting, you can really make this work with any type of human-removed toy. (dick on a stick, wand massager vibe, hands-free insertables, etc.)

This scene is very focused on overwhelming your bottom with sexual pleasure alongside a small bit of bondage. You’ll want to be sexually intimate with anyone you do this with.

What Do You Need for a DIY Sex Robot Scene?

To do this scene, I’d recommend:

• A spot where your bottom can kneel for a long period of time

• A blindfold
• Wrist cuffs
• Fastening gear (rope/tethers/chains) to attach your wrist cuffs to a bondage point somewhere
• Other bondage gear to match your “vibe”
• A container to catch semen (if applicable and matches your vibe)

You’ll really want to flush out the backstory of your DIY sex robot scene. Why are you, this human, involved? After all, a DIY sex robot wouldn’t really need a human around. Your backstory will vary based on what flavor of robotic sex you and your kinky lover are into. Some examples:

• If you both are turned on by robotics in medical settings, a human as a doctor in a clinic makes perfect sense and requires no further explanation.
• If you’re turned on by a sentient, futuristic robot “doing things” to humans, it might make less sense for this sentient robot to need a human. In that case, you may wish to build in backstory like “we have seen that humans respond better to faces that match their own. Please meet my assistant”.
• If we’re going for “romantic robot who wants to make you feel good things”, you might want to plan for a backstory like “I brought in an assistant to help make sure you feel comfortable. I care a lot about making sure you feel safe.”

How Long Does It Take?

This is not a scene you really want to rush. Plan for at least an hour of active “scene” time with at least 45 minutes prep time for getting your house ready.

Realistically, this is just not a scene you’re going to want to do if you’re on a time crunch. The whole point is overwhelming your bottom with lots and lots of overwhelming sensations with the help of automated sex toys. It’s hard to really build that fantasy world (and let them relax into it) if we’re worried about having to make a dinner reservation in 3 hours.

How Do You Prep for a DIY Sex Robot Scene?

We’re going to send your partner out of your house to give you time to set up your BDSM scene.

This scene will not have the same immersive qualities if your lover can watch you set up the whole thing. Instead, send them out and make sure they know they’re coming back to a sexy activity to ensure they’re in the right headspace.

To set up, I’d recommend:

• Picking a spot in your house where you want to set up and want your partner to kneel for a long period of time
• Setting up one sex machine (or a wand vibrator) to rest in front of them
• Setting up a second sex machine (if applicable) to rest behind them
• Ensuring both controls for the sex machine are in the same spot for you to easily control
• Ensure your bondage point is ready and accessible. I use an overhead bondage point. You may wish to put a chair on top of the front sex machine, giving them a sturdy surface to lean onto. (like this)
• Get the blindfold and wrist cuffs out.
• Clear out the walkway between the front door and your sex play space, removing any clutter or visual distractions. (i.e. If there’s a pile of clothes on a bedroom chair, put away the clothes. Visual clutter is going to mentally distract your captive away from the scene.)
• At a minimum, change clothes. Ideally, change into a costume or outfit that matches the vibe you’re going for.
• Slip on your gloves. We do not want your partner to feel the warmth of any human skin.
• Set the house’s ambient factors as mentioned in the “What’s the Vibe?” section right below.

I’ve primarily done this scene in a spot in my house where I can bind my partner’s wrists above their head as they kneel. For good measure (and to allow them to really sag and get lost in the sensations of the sex machines without pulling on their shoulders), I also reinforce this with a rope chest harness attached to that overhead bondage point. You may not have an overhead bondage point. Mental bondage, or other types of bondage, can also work too.

Remember: if done “right”, your partner is going to be extremely overstimulated and exhausted by your DIY sex robot. Make sure they have a way to relax into the position you’re going to place them in.

What’s the “Vibe” of your DIY Sex Robot Scene?

There are lots of erotic ways a DIY sex robot scene can go. The exact way you want to set up your apartment will depend on the vibe you’re going for. Is this an autonomous sex robot who kidnapped the bottom and needs to milk them for sustenance? Is this a medical appointment where the nonplussed doctor uses multiple machines to apply a “treatment”? Is this a romance-seeking sex robot who is utilizing its limbs to make someone feel good?

The roleplay you’re looking to replicate will really make a big difference in your initial setup. Some ideas:

• Change the temperature. A medical, torture-focused, unforgiving vibe works best with colder temperatures. A warm, romantic vibe works better with warmer temperatures.
• Change the lighting. Harsh, rough lighting (like a medfet scene!) is great for that clinical vibe while dimmed lighting with some neon undertones can give you more of a “sexy” vibe.
• Swap up the attachments. A sex machine doing super-slow thrusts with a rigid, plastic “dilator” (i.e. a dildo, but swap up the name for headspace purposes) will work for your doctoral vibes while a pre-warmed realistic dildo might fit better for sensual vibes.
• Change the location. If you’re lucky enough to have multiple places to play, you don’t have to play on the bed. Doing this on a paper-covered massage table can be great for clinical vibes. For “robotic overlords who don’t care about your comfort”, you can easily swap to doing things on a hard tiled floor.
• Choose your outfit. Are you a professional assistant wearing business casual? Are you a “human sex toy” the robot has used to try to make the “captive” feel comfortable? • Pick a soundtrack. This one can be harder to “nail”, but if you think there’s a specific vibe that would work best for your DIY sex robot scene, you can grab some background music to help really drill it in. Keep it low for best effect; someone should easily forget it’s there, but it’ll work subconsciously. Medical scenes can have hospital background noise. Futuristic scenes might benefit more from “empty space” type of noises.
• Contemplate pre-recording robotic voice commands. If you really wanna go balls to the wall on this, avoid using your own voice, instead utilizing voice-to-text robotic voices to give you all of the phrases you want. You can save, title, and load these voices as .mp3 files on your phone and hook your phone’s sound up to a home sound system. You can then utilize these files to make your DIY sex robot feel like it’s actually “there”. Keep the voice-to-text website available to type out any additional commands if needed. At a minimum, using this can be helpful to explain your backstory when your partner first walks into the room. You’d then only need to pre-record a single message as a story introduction.

Step-by-Step Instructions for a DIY Sex Robot Scene

1. Spend the weeks preceding your scene date by hyping up the idea of a sex robot. Presumably, if you’re doing this scene with a partner, you (or your partner!) are already into the idea of robotic sex. We really want to get them fantasizing about it, though, so mental images are fresh in their mind for the scene. Find some animated porn or erotica that features robotic sex. Since there’s only so much we can do in the “real world” in our bedrooms to replicate this, we really want their imagination to do the bulk of the work.
2. The day of your scene, ask your partner to go out for a bit while you set up. We want them to go out and do something relaxing. Ideally, they may know that they have a “sex appointment with you” when they come back, keeping them turned on. You can assign some hot robotic sex erotica for them to read while they’re out if you want. When they come back, ask them to knock on the door.
3. While they’re out, get your house ready for the scene. Set out the machines, set out the restraints, prepare your house, and get yourself dressed into whatever costume or vibe you’re going for. I have that checklist above in “How to Prepare”.
4. When they knock on the door, prepare to greet them in a way that matches your scene vibe. A cold doctor would succinctly welcome their patient. A warm robot who is thankful for your “donation” would be robotic…but they’d also be friendly and patient.
5. Without much delay, request that they remove their clothing. Again, match your vibe. A cold doctor will say a few phrases and say “I now need you to undress”. Whether your doctor leaves the room is up to you. A warm robotic lover would patiently wait or make notes about how “they can only make you feel good if you get naked”.
6. Now that your bottom is naked, place the wrist cuffs on them. You can add additional bondage gear, as desired, but this scene outline only really requires a single set of wrist cuffs.
7. Lead your bottom to the area where the machines and bondage gear are all laid out.
8. Request your bottom to get into position, using phrases that best match the vibe you’re going for.
9. Once your bottom is in position, bind their wrists to the bondage point you’ve selected when setting up your space.
10. Blindfold your bottom. Again, utilize phrases that help best sell your vibe. A doctor may say something like “We’ve found this treatment is more effective if a patient is able to focus on the machinery.” while a DIY sex robot focused on milking its captives may say something like “The human mind provides itself with better fantasies when its eyes are closed. We’ve found that fantasy fulfillment provides a larger resulting collection.”
11. Now that they’re captive and bound, this is a great spot for any words, robotic or otherwise, that help explain your backstory. We, quite obviously, are not robots. So your only way to really “sell” this roleplay is by utilizing your captive’s imagination. Give them as much fantasy fodder as possible to hold onto. Why’s the robot holding them there? What’s the robot’s end goal? What’s going to happen to them now? Use that robotic text-to-voice we set up earlier, or use your human voice as the robot’s “assistant”.
12. This is where you would perform any other additional things that help sell your backstory. If your robot is a warm, sensual lover who wants to see what human sexuality is like, they’d probably start with foreplay, rubbing and squeezing parts of the human. If you’re in a medical setting, you probably need to take some measurements, ask the patient’s date of birth, and receive “consent” for these treatments. A DIY sex robot that is just here for ejaculation extraction won’t bother with much foreplay, and they’ll probably just start stroking the patient’s shaft so that semen extraction may begin.
13. When you’re ready, start by getting the “front” sex machine in place. Penetration vaginally or anally is going to feel best if your partner is already turned on. We can utilize this front sex machine (or wand/vibrator), focused on the penis or clitoris, to get the captive’s arousal higher.
14. Feel free to move/adjust your captive, as needed, to get them into the place you need to get the sex toys in place. For a penis owner, that may mean getting them to spread their thighs (to get to a lower overall height) or bend over (to accommodate an upward pointing penis). For clitoral owners, you might need the same adjustments to get the toys in the right place. Again, you can do this within the vibe of your roleplay. 15. If you have another toy you’d like to use instead (or in addition) (a Lovense Lush, for example), this can also be a great place to get that set up. We’re aiming to add as much hands-free, automated pleasure as possible.
16. Once you’ve set up the single machine, sit back and let your partner enjoy it for a bit. I recommend keeping the speed settings low, letting them get accustomed to the sensations without going over-the-top (yet). Feel free to pepper in more words that reinforce the DIY sex robot vibe that you’re going for. Add lube as needed.
17. When you think they’re ready, get to work setting up the second sex machine (if applicable). In my outline here, we set up the first machine to do a lot of external pleasure while this second one will be used for vaginal or anal penetration. Of course, feel free to adjust things as needed.
18. I recommend turning off the first sex machine/toy and using some dirty talk or phrases before sliding the second machine inside. This may be medical speak with “We need to use another machine to improve our accuracy.”. This might be “I want to see if humans can feel even more pleasure at once”. Reinforce your captive’s mental picture by giving them a reason this kinky robot wants to add even more.
19. This is also a great time to add more lube.
20. When you’re ready, get that second one slid inside, and start up only the second one. Especially as getting penetration angles can be a bit more finicky when sliding inside than with your first item being external-only, you may need to adjust the machine or your partner’s positioning.
21. When they’re settled into that second one, start the first one back up, keeping them at low settings.
22. Give them time to enjoy themselves before ramping up the intensity. Add some words (if desired), giving them reasons the robot wants them to have more pleasure. Alternatively, if you find your captive is already getting close to orgasm, you can also have reasons that your DIY sex robot doesn’t want them to orgasm, ceasing stimulation.
23. Bring the intensity up to medium, and gently back down, for a few cycles. Don’t forget to add lube as needed!
24. At this point, if you have any additional sensation play items you want to add, you can add them by hand. Try to avoid touching the person with your own warm hands. Quick ideas: nipple clamps, ice along the skin, wax play (do NOT get it on the machines), clit or testicle clamps, wartenburg wheels (be careful if they’re squirmy), additional vibrators.
25. With all of that going on, they’re going to get overwhelmed with sensation here. Be prepared to turn down (or turn off) the machines as needed to control the pace of the scene. If you have something vibrating, be prepared to turn it off entirely (or turn it to a pattern) to avoid numbing the area from over-vibration. 26. When you’re ready, start prepping your captive to orgasm with words. Why is your DIY sex robot going to let them cum? Is it the culmination of the medical treatment? Are they milking them for their own needs? Do they want to see what happens when a human has an orgasm? Even more intense, do they want to see how many orgasms a human being can experience? (you sadistic orgasm torture robot you!)
27. After you’ve set the scene with your words, start to increase the intensity of the machines and toys. Let them climb up to that orgasm, and make sure to add in words about the robot’s intentions to really drive home the fantasy and visual they have in their head.
28. Once they’ve had an orgasm, you can either consider the scene done OR you can ramp them up for more orgasms or sensation. If you want someone to have multiple orgasms, you need to continue some form of primary stimulation (usually clitoral or penile), but they’re going to be very sensitive. We have to prevent them from going into the resolution phase. So make sure you pull down the sensation to very light while still having it there. Give them a minute-ish of variable, light primary stimulation while changing up stimulation elsewhere before ramping back up intensity to see if you can draw out more orgasms.

Pre-Written Dirty Talk

It’s going to be really hard to give you generic dirty talk sentences that’ll work for every vibe of DIY sex robot scene out there. It’s really going to depend on whether you’re going for degrading or loved, whether your robot is sentient or not, and whether your robot is part of a fantastical futuristic scenario or something a human being is “using for a treatment”.

Instead, I’d really, really, REALLY recommend sitting down before you do this scene to figure out what you want the backstory to be. Why does your sex robot want to have sex with this person? How did your bottom end up at the mercy of this sex robot? What role do you (the human) play to the robot? Is your robot a generic robot with no personality that’s purely acting on orders, or is it a robot with sentience that’s getting to explore something that it wants to do? Does it view its captive as an interesting science experiment, a new play toy, or something it just has to get it over with as part of its 9-to-5?

Once you have that, start thinking about phrases that might work within the context of that story.

To make it easy, I’ve tried to note spots in the outline where you can really play up the contextual scene you’ve made. In general, just think about why your robot would be doing what they’re doing, and verbalize it to your partner when you’re changing things up.

Why would the DIY sex robot want to increase the intensity of the sex machines? Why would they want to add nipple clamps?

You can also come up with a few phrases that essentially mean “good captive” but work within your roleplay scenario. For example, a doctor may say something like “You’re doing a great job. This treatment can be intense, but I promise it’s almost over.” A robot that is trying to extract as much semen as possible may say something like “It looks like your balls are getting even fuller. Good subject. We need maximum extraction.”

It can be easy to pepper in those phrases when you’re at a loss for something else to say.

Add-on Fun for a DIY Sex Robot Scene

As always, the world is your oyster when it comes to whatever you want to add within my scene outline. Please, take my outlines as inspiration and add in whatever cool stuff makes you and your captive happy.

Some quick ideas:

• The DIY sex robot had such a great time that they now have no interest in “sharing this human” with anyone else. They introduce a chastity cage or chastity belt to lock the human in afterwards.
• For gooning fetishists, you can easily skip the blindfold and play hentai or animated porn of sex robots having sex with their captives. If someone tends to depend more on visual images than their own brain for this type of stuff, this can be a really easy way to really “drive home” the DIY sex robot theme. Try to preview the porn and get all of the movie’s “vibes” to line up. i.e. If you are jumping from clips that are really sadistic to really romantic or sensual, you’re going to have a hard time keeping up with one cohesive “vibe” for your dirty talk during the scene.
• If someone has an ignore kink, you can fit this into your robotic vibe as well. The robot is a bored factory-line worker, and they have yet another human being to milk. Yawn. You’ll get them all set up, but the vibe will be very detached and bored, going for extreme efficiency.
• Feel free to get creative if you don’t have two sex machines. We’re really just here to add a whole lot of intense stimulation at once while removing you, the “human” lover, from the equation. This may mean that the robot sets out a sex doll for the captive to have sex with while the sex machine does its job from the back. This may mean that the captive is told to hump or grind up against a pillow or firm surface while a sex machine does some work from the back.

In general, I really recommend having a vague understanding of what gets your partner off about robotic sex before jumping into this one. Usually, it’s some specific feeling of helplessness they want to feel. Is it degrading to be forced under a robot’s arms? Is it exhilarating to be underneath a “lover” that doesn’t have physical limitations? Are they turned on by being more thoroughly used than a human being can capably provide? Are they simply turned on by robots, as a thing, and want to have sex with that thing?

Having that information really helps guide how to personalize the scene and make it unforgettable.

Cautions

Your biggest danger here is friction burn and residual soreness afterwards. Really. Machines give zero shits about lube, and they will keep thrusting and humping regardless of how unpleasant it feels to your captive. Make sure to apply lube often to keep things slippery instead of painful.

You may also want to warn your captive that they might feel sore the next day, and you probably want to avoid penetration for a few days afterwards to give any sore tissue or microtears a chance to heal. Again, sex machines do not have a human touch. They can be rough, and as you’re not the one “feeling” them, you may not realize it when it’s happening. Your captive may not either, as they get lost in the scene you’ve built around them instead of laser-focusing on sensations.

There’s also a light risk of your partner tipping over. There’s going to be a LOT of intense sensations happening at once, and it can lead to slumping or forgetting to hold yourself upright. That’s why we’re doing this scene from a kneeling position on the ground. Even so, ideally, find a way to support most of their body weight so they can really focus on the sensations. I mention that chair to lean onto (which can be really helpful!). You can also use an overhead bondage point to help support the chest upright. It’s up to what you have available and what your vibe is.

First, a Quick Note on Womanizer Next 3D Pleasure Air

The “Next” title, in the product name, denotes that both of these air suction sex toys are equipped with 3D Pleasure Air and Dynamic Dimension Drive. Womanizers without “Next” in their title do not have this.

Essentially, via a button on either toy, you can adjust how “deep” the air suction intensity will feel. Both Next toys offer 3 levels of depth. The depth is a separate setting from the intensity; you can have gentle/light depth on the highest intensity setting, but you can also do the deepest/strongest depth on the lightest settings. The two functions operate independently of one another.

When someone is trying to decide if the Womanizer Next is worth it, usually this 3D tech is one of the first questions to come up. After all, marketing departments love to over-exaggerate, and nobody wants to be disappointed by “must-have” functions.

That being said, I genuinely don’t know how this tech works. I have zero idea of the technical know-how of what “3D Pleasure Air” actually is or how it’s accomplished. With their patent, I probably will never know.

All I know is that it FEELS different.

I pulled out my other Womanizer toys to compare them to these two Next toys: Womanizer W100 (the original!), my Womanizer Plus, my regular Womanizer Liberty, and my regular Womanizer Pro.

The “depth” of all of those non-3D toys feels almost on-par with Setting 2 of the 3D “Next” settings.

The 3rd (deepest) 3D setting feels deeper, rumblier, and like it has more suction and depth than the non-3D toys.

The 1st (lightest) 3D setting feels lighter, like a whisper of suction instead of the full suction sensation.

The best comparison I can give you is with a human mouth. The lightest (1st) 3D setting feels a bit like someone wrapped their mouth around you and is giving you super-soft, sensual suction.

The 2nd 3D setting feels more like they’re trying to get you to orgasm, knowing you’re warmed up and ready.

The 3rd (strongest) 3D setting feels like they’re doing everything in their power to get me off. Like the kid gloves are off, and they’re going to suck until their mouth muscles are too sore to speak tomorrow.

The 3D Pleasure Air tech makes a genuine difference. I can tell the difference between the non-3D and the 3D.

I’ve bolded the features that are different.

Portability

The first difference you’ll see between these two air suction vibrators is simply their size and portability.

The Womanizer Next Liberty is noticeably smaller and designed to be travel-friendly. It even includes its own little lid! (However, it does not include a storage bag.) The Next Liberty takes up about 4.5″ in length with a width of about 2.5″. It weighs 147g WITH lid and 120g without the lid attached. (I pulled out my kitchen food measuring scale. Nerdy.)

The Womanizer Next is noticeably taller. It does not have any lid or protective covering over the tip of the vibrator. It does, however, include its own branded, not-discreet canvas storage bag. It takes up about 6.75″ in length with a width of about 2.25″. It weighs 165g. This is only 15g of more weight despite being noticeably larger in size. I, personally, have traveled with the Womanizer Next for over a year now, and it does fine in its canvas storage bag. However, if you’re someone who is pretty rough on your luggage, the storage bag provides no rigid exterior case to keep anything from poking into the air suction hole during travel.

For those who need discretion while traveling, the Womanizer Next Liberty is a better fit. Its tiny, potato-sized footprint – partnered with the fact that it looks less like a “sex toy” with the lid on – provides better plausible deniability. Either toy, however, is small enough to be hidden inside of a crew-style sock in a sock drawer.

Handling

Their physical sizes are different. How your hand fits onto those handles is also going to be different.

That is, the angle that the air suction hole “attaches” to the handle is different on both vibrators. It’s hard to explain.

On the Womanizer Next, the air suction hole attaches at a nice, comfortable, 90-degree angle. Look at the photo below this section. If you hold the Next upright like a wizard wand, the air suction hole will point directly to your left or to your right.

On the Womanizer Next Liberty, the air suction hole is attached at a 40-degree angle. Look at the photo above this section. That is, if you hold the Womanizer Next Liberty upright like a wizard wand, the air suction hole points almost directly at the corners of your ceilings.

This affects how you hold the toy.

If you’re someone who has difficulty easily reaching your clitoris with traditional air suction toys or your own hand, the Womanizer Next is probably the better fit. The 90-degree tip placement, in addition to the longer handle, gives you way more freedom in placement. This can be great for anyone who needs that extra length (like if you have a squishier tum!).

i.e. If I’m using the Womanizer Next, I can hold the very base of the handle (where the lighter pink color is on the handle) and still enjoy the sensations. That’s a full 4″ away from my clitoris. (Yes, I have a measuring tape out for all of this!)

If I’m using the Womanizer Next Liberty, due to its smaller size, my hand must be virtually on top of my clitoris to use it. It feels more like a bullet vibrator in reach requirements. The reach requirement is even higher, though because of the Liberty’s angle of attack. In order to get the angled tip flat with my clitoris, I need to hold the handle away from my body, requiring a further reach.

The grip requirements are also different. Because of the smaller size, the Liberty requires me to really “grip” it between my fingers. It requires a lot more physical finger strength to hold the Liberty at a light press against my body. The smaller size means I really want to “cup” the Liberty against my body, but if I do that, I lose all of the juicy air suction “tugging” from a lighter touch that I absolutely adore.

Because the Womanizer Next is more formidable with a wider, flatter handle, holding the toy is much more comfortable for the literal muscles of my fingers. It’s the difference between holding a book (flat and wide) and an apple (round and wide). Neither is necessarily bad, but if you have grip concerns, be aware the Liberty Next requires more from your hands.

If you want the potential for hands-free enjoyment, the Womanizer Next is also the better choice. The long, flat shape can be “held” up against the body by a snug pair of undies. After holding both toys in my hands to compare AND using them back-to-back during masturbation, I’d say:

The full-sized Womanizer Next has a much wider range of intensities. This shouldn’t surprise you. It has 14 intensities while the smaller Next Liberty has 8.

The “Depth” functionality on both feels about the same. It seems to increase the “fullness” of the gentle suction similarly, regardless of toy.

The Next Liberty is missing some of the gentlest levels on the Womanizer Next.

Assuming the full-sized Womanizer Next goes from 1 to 14 in intensity setting, the smaller Next Liberty’s first setting starts at the Next’s 3. So you’re missing out on the gentler settings 1 and 2 if you’re using the Next Liberty.

The 4 on the Next Liberty feels like the 9 on the Womanizer Next.

The highest intensity, the 8, on the Next Liberty feels like 12 on the full-sized counterpart.

That, essentially, means you’re missing a few levels of higher intensity and a few levels of lower intensity if you have the Womanizer Next Liberty vs Womanizer Next.

I’m going to be honest though: you might not miss them. The decision to focus on the middle-est ranges of the Next means that the Liberty covers the majority of the sensations the Next provides.

As someone who has used, loved, and adored the Womanizer Next for the past year, here’s how I tend to use my Womanizer Next:

• I’ll use the Womanizer Next hands-free by tucking it into a pair of undies. The undies pull the toy’s handle towards my tummy, essentially anchoring the air suction hole up against my body. If I move, the whole thing gets all messed up, but as long as I stay in the same spot, it stays for hands-free orgasms.
• Level 1 and 2: I’ll often use these levels on completely unaroused, un-sexually-interested skin. They do a surprisingly great job. These intensities will, in no way, shape, or form, ever get me to orgasm, but on completely unaroused flesh, they barely feel like anything, but they’re perfect for an unaroused clit. They feel pleasurable, and they turn me on. I kinda think of it as a physical “Viagra” that provides physical stimulation that gets my brain turned on and interested in sex in the first place.
• Level 3, 4, 5: I primarily orgasm at these levels. If I’m having a singular (or first of multiple) orgasms, all of these levels are more-than-enough for a pretty easy orgasm as long as something is mentally arousing me.
• Level 6: I might pop onto level 6 temporarily if Level 5 almost has me there.
• Level 10, 11, 12, 13, 14: I only use these levels if I’m trying to have multiple orgasms. The first orgasm happens, easily and flawlessly, with the lower levels. If I’m trying to draw out 3 or 4 orgasms, the “fight” is a lot harder, and I usually end up on these top levels to have the orgasm. I can usually orgasm, just fine, on the Next Liberty’s 3 or 4th level.

It is harder to have multiple orgasms with the Next Liberty; the 8th level just isn’t the same level of powerful as the full-sized Next has. I’ve struck out a few times trying to have multiple orgasms with the Next Liberty. I’ve also succeeded at having multiple orgasms with it (primarily on Level 7 and 8). It just isn’t quite as dependable without the highest settings.

When comparing the Womanizer Next Liberty vs Womanizer Next, I’d really say I’m glad to have the Womanizer Next, and it’s my favorite of the two. BUT the Womanizer Next Liberty is more-than-enough for most of my uses, and it has become the go-to for traveling. Yes, the Next Liberty gives you a bit less of a power range, but while traveling, I tend to spend less time trying to have marathon sex sessions anyway.

What the Next Liberty does have is enough of a range – with virtually no skimping on power – to easily compare levels between the two toys. It’s smaller, and it brings out orgasms with a similar level of power to the Next.

Noise Level

The two toys are relatively similar in noise, during use, if you match them up on intensity levels. For example, the full Next’s level 1 is much quieter than the Level 1 on the Next Liberty, but that’s because the Next Liberty’s Level 1 is the equivalent of the Next’s Level 3. If you match them up at power levels, they put out about the same noise level.

The Next Liberty does not have Smart Silence. The full-sized Next does. If emergency discretion is important to you, this makes the full-sized Next a better pick. Essentially, the full-sized Next will automatically pause all sensation if it senses that it has been removed from your skin for more than a second. That means the Next stops making all noise if you pull it away from your skin. This can be a godsend if you’re accidentally discovered mid-use and want some plausible deniability. Just pull it away from your skin (which you probably did anyway, upon discovery), and the toy will shut off shortly thereafter.

If you want to stop all noise with the Next Liberty, you’ll need to press and hold the plus button for two seconds to manually turn off the Liberty.

As a quick cliff-notes about noise:

• The full-sized Next will be silent when you aren’t actively using it. That’s not the case for the Next Liberty; it will keep chugging along, and air suction toys get louder when they aren’t actively sucking on something.
• When not sucking on something, the Next Liberty is still quiet. It’s a little louder than during use, but it’s still quiet enough that I still have no qualms recommending it for roommate use. It’s one of the quietest things you could possibly use in a hotel room, honestly.
• Regardless, both toys are impressively quiet during use and beyond. I would be comfortable using either in their mid-range (and potentially highest settings) in a room with a closed door with other people right outside the door. They’re noticeably quieter than virtually all clitoral vibrators.
• I’d be comfortable using the Next Liberty’s lowest settings in a public bathroom as long as there was background elevator music. It’s that quiet.
• Either toy is quieter when using 3D level 1 and 2. 3D level 3 is the “loudest”, but it, again, is still pretty freakin’ quiet.

Cost

As of right now, the Womanizer Next Liberty has an MSRP of $129.

The Womanizer Next has an MSRP of $229.

That’s a hundred dollars in savings if you go with the smaller, portable-friendly Womanizer Next Liberty.

The Womanizer Next has been on the market for awhile, though, so you’re much-more-likely to see sales on this full-sized toy. I’ve seen 20% to 30% semi-often. If you catch a 30%, that can bring the Womanizer Next down to $160, which is a much smaller price difference between the two.

If you’re buying on short notice without a sale, take the price into account. If you’re willing to wait a bit for a good sale, I wouldn’t necessarily let price be the determining factor between these two sex toys.

At a $30 difference, I’d rebuy the full-sized Next in a heartbeat. If it was a $100 difference…I’d really have to think over how much I want the Next’s longer handle and higher intensity range for multiple orgasm use.

(Because of the hands-free functionality I’ve found with the Next, though, I’d probably end up paying that $100 difference.)

Well, wtf do some of those proprietary, Proper Noun features mean? WOWTech is nothing if not innovative, and they often like to push new functions into their toys. These Proper Noun features, in practice, are:

Dynamic Dimension Drive/3D Pleasure Air/3 Levels of Climax Control: As far as I can tell, these all describe the same functionality in practice: that is, both toys are equipped with the ability to change how “deep” the sensation feels. Each toy features a 3-dot LED panel that visually shows what suction depth you’re on. A button allows you to easily cycle between shallow, moderate, and deep. This is the big selling point of the Next line, and you can read more about how it affects pleasure in the “First, a Quick Note on Womanizer Next 3D Pleasure Air” and “Power” sections above. No matter which “Next” toy version you get, both feature this same tech. It provides the same depth with both toys.

Autopilot: This is a fancy-ass form of “patterns”. Instead of being short, 5-second patterns that repeat on loop, Autopilot is an extra-long patterned set-up. The “pattern” is so long that you won’t necessarily “remember “feel” that it’s a pattern. Essentially, Autopilot continually changes the stimulation on you, making it feel like someone else is controlling the toy and ensuring you never really get “accustomed” to whatever setting you were on. There are no pauses or staccato sensations with Autopilot. It takes the steady intensity levels and constantly changes them up on you at variable timepoints. I genuinely could not map out the exact pattern it follows if I tried; it feels somewhat random in both intensity and interval between the changed settings. While this is an option for orgasm, I’d say most people will probably utilize Autopilot most when they first sit down with the toy or in the middle of their pleasure session. The constant changing isn’t necessarily great for hitting orgasm. However, it’s worth noting that Autopilot is available in three intensities: Soft, Medium, and Intense, letting you choose what intensity levels Autopilot will access during use. There is nothing on the Liberty that functions anything like this.

Smart Silence: Now built into a couple of the Womanizer toys, Smart Silence is exactly what it sounds like: it silences the toy. If the Next’s tip is pulled away from your skin, the vibrator turns off, making zero noise. In practice, I’ve never been bothered by the Next’s noise enough to want it to instantly turn off when I’m not using it. That being said, the function works VERY well, turning off the toy within a second. If you were worried about someone walking in mid-use, this Smart Silence gives you a lot of protection. The Liberty does not have any feature like this. You will need to manually turn off the toy by pressing and holding the Plus button for two seconds.

Afterglow: After orgasm, your body is (understandably) sensitive. If you’re aiming for multiple orgasms or want a calm cool down, that’s what Afterglow is for. A press and hold of the Minus button instantly pushes the vibrator into its softest settings (in both intensity and 3D depth). This is just a shortcut to access the softest sensations, and you can do the same thing with the Next Liberty; it will just take multiple button presses. The Next Liberty does not have a dedicated “Afterglow” quick-button set-up like the full-sized Next does.

The Womanizer Next is advertised with “eco packaging” while the Next Liberty isn’t, but the packaging is almost exactly the same aside from the Next Liberty’s lack of a storage bag.

The Tip

By default, both toys have the exact same tip. I mean exact same. When I press them, french-kiss-style, they match up perfectly in size and curvature.

In addition, when laid out, face-up, as accurately as possible, both toys have the same “protrusion”. That is, measured from the non-use side of the toy, both clitoral holes are equally as far from the flat, non-used side.

The Womanizer Next has less excess material surrounding the clitoral air suction hole. The air suction hole protrudes from the toy on its lonesome. You get about 2mm of “wall” of the air suction hole, and that’s all of the material near the hole.

On the opposite side, the Womanizer Next Liberty has more material around the air suction hole. There’s a good 10mm of raised area near the hole itself. It’s like the Next Liberty’s air suction hole is carved out from the center of a hill.

Neither is right or wrong; it will just depend on your anatomy. The Next Liberty physically takes up more space in-between your labia. You might love this (more skin for sensation! it moves non-clitoral skin out of the way!), or you might not (it can be harder for a partner to “aim” the toy as more material makes it harder to see the exact spot the hole is on).

The default, attached tips are about 2cm in height with a width of about 1.4cm. They are oval in shape.

Both toys include a Larger air suction tip for more space. It’s a little more circular than oval, but it’s still an overall oval shape. This larger tip has a height of about 2cm with a width of about 1.6cm. It has the overall wider width that makes the tip appear more “circular” than oval-like, but again, it’s still an overall oval shape.

The “default” size on both of the Womanizer Next versions is my preferred one, but this larger tip exists if that’s a better fit for you.

Both tip holes of both available tips are the same in size. If you were deciding between the Womanizer Next Liberty vs Womanizer Next based on tips, I’d decide based on how much material you want surrounding the tip hole.

Charging, Durability, and Battery Life

With less space for a battery, you get less battery life out of the Womanizer Next Liberty.

The Next Liberty has a run time of 120 minutes while the full-sized Next has a run time of 240 minutes. That’s two more hours of playtime on the Next. If you’re a gooner or someone who hates to regularly charge your sex toy, this may be a deciding factor for you.

Their different designs mean that the two rechargeable sex toys charge differently as well.

The Next features a magnetic charger. Place the magnetic charging cable onto the two magnetic prongs on the back of the handle of the Next, and the Next will charge. The magnets are decent, and nothing to write home about. They will dislodge if you bump it roughly, but they don’t dislodge under a light breeze. As long as it isn’t charging in a high-traffic area, you’ll be fine. (The Next needs 2 hours to a full charge, and the built-in 3D depth light indicator will let you know how full the battery is as it goes.)

The Next Liberty features a plug-in charge hole at the base. The included USB-C cable plugs into the hole at the base. When not charging, this hole is covered by a silicone cover. Like the full-sized Next, the built-in 3D depth light indicator will let you know how full the battery is as the toy is charging. Since the toy plugs in to charge, you can have an earthquake while it’s charging, and it doesn’t pull itself off the charger.

Important note: The Womanizer Next includes a USB cable to charge. The Womanizer Next Liberty has a USB-C charging cable. This will be important if you have a strong preference either way! All of my adapters are currently regular USB for charging my sex toys; the only USB-C adapter I keep is for my cell phone, and I had to choose whether to choose my Next Liberty or my cell phone when I was traveling with the toy.

Both toys seem well-built. It doesn’t feel like any corners were cut on either option. Honestly, my Womanizer toys are workhorses. My Womanizer W100 from 2016 still works great with weekly use. My Womanizer Plus, from 2017, again, still working. (Though it has mostly been replaced by my full-sized Next. I did pop it on though; it still works!) My Liberty doesn’t seem to work any longer, but I’m not sure why. My Premium – yep, still works.

I would expect either Womanizer to last you years with proper care. This, especially, means making sure the Next Liberty’s waterproof “cover” is fully engaged before getting it near water. Mine likes to stick open a little bit; I usually double-check before washing it.

Final Thoughts: Womanizer Next Liberty vs Womanizer Next

If I had the funds and if I primarily planned to use my air suction toy to get as much power possible, I’d pick the full-sized Womanizer Next. It has a wider power range, it provides a more comfortable grip for me, I love how I can use it hands-free, it is comfortable for unaroused flesh, and the Smart Silence can really be helpful if discretion is important for you.

If I wanted to travel with it regularly, hide its smaller shape better, or am coming from another brand of air suction toys, I’d get the Womanizer Next Liberty. The power range still blows almost all competitors out of the water, you still get the 3D pleasure air tech with a lower price, and it’s much easier to hide and move around. I personally prefer the handling shape of the Womanizer Next better, but whether I’d pay a $100 difference again for that preference is up for debate.

Both toys share similar noise levels, 3D pleasure air potential, the same tip sizes, and the same waterproof capabilities.

All that’s to say: Both toys are extremely solid. I’d say it’d be hard to go wrong choosing either one. Womanizer managed to take their most-popular, most-pleasurable Womanizer version and shrink it into a smaller, portable size (with a smaller price) without digging out the factors that mattered most. The smaller Next Liberty won’t have the same Proper Noun features (Smart Silence, Auto Pilot, Afterglow), but it still has a good chunk of the Next’s power range at a very similar noise level.

If you’ve been shopping for sex toys online, you’ve probably seen the words “waterproof” and “splashproof”. But what are waterproof sex toys, and how do they differ from splashproof? Both sound like they’d be pretty solid in water.

But of course, like everything else in life, there’s a difference between the two.

To understand the difference between the two, whether we’re talking about a Rose Sex Toy or a sex machine, it helps to understand the Ingress Protection System. (I swear, it’s not as complicated as it seems!)

What Does “IPX” Mean?

Turns out, electronic devices – whether designed for your coochie or your TV – are all sensitive to water. To get us all onto a standardized system to understand how sensitive to water each item was, the International Electrotechnical Commission created a system in 1976 they call the Ingress Protection System. (We all call it “IPX” for short.)

This system tells you how sensitive an electronic device is to water.

This scale goes all the way from IPX0 to IPX9.

“0” means the device has zero protection from water. It’s essentially a sponge.

“9” means that you could shoot high pressure and high temperature water directly at it, and it’d be fine. (We’re talking well beyond your standard shower and bath water!)

Since sex toys (and most electronics you own) are primarily enclosed already, most of the lower numbers on the IPX scale don’t apply. After all, if a single water droplet off your soda can could completely destroy your new prostate massager, you’d be really upset.

In case you’re curious, here’s the full sex toy IPX system numbers and their meanings:

• 0 – No protection
• 1 – Protected against vertically falling water droplets
• 2 – Protected against vertically falling water droplets when enclosure tilted up to 15-degrees
• 3 – Protected against spraying water
• 4 – Protected against splashing water
• 5 – Protected against water jets
• 6 – Protected against powerful water jets
• 7 – Protected against the effects of temporary immersion in water
• 8 – Protected against the effects of continuous immersion in water
• 9 – Protected against high pressure and high temperature water jets

(Sidenote: I’m simplifying a bit. If you want to understand the full system, the Ingress Protection System actually designates sensitivity to both solids – like dust – and liquids. That’s why we always use the “X” after “IP” when discussing sensitivity to liquids. In a full Ingress Protection System, that “X” would designate the sensitivity to solid particles. i.e. It would look like: IP46. Since we generally don’t care about the sensitivity to manufacturing dust with our sex toys, we just half-ass the whole thing, throwing an “X” in there and simply focusing on the final number: the number that tells you how sensitive the item is to water. Nerd out a bit here.)

What are Waterproof Sex Toys on the IPX Scale?

The terms “waterproof” and “splashproof” are simply easy-to-understand, buyer-friendly words that correspond with IPX7+ and IPX6 protection, respectfully.

What are waterproof sex toys? They are toys that rate as an IPX7 or above on the Ingress Protection scale. Almost every waterproof sex toy out there is IPX7. I only know of a single sex toy that’s above IPX7: the Le Wand Dive is an IPX8.

IPX7 (i.e. waterproof adult toys) can withstand being submerged in relatively calm water up to 1 meter in depth (slightly above 3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. That pretty effectively describes a bathtub, pool, or jacuzzi tub (with jets off).

A waterproof sex toy can hang out with you, actively in the water while you use it. If you’re nice and comfy in a private pool (jealous), you can hold that sex toy under the water while you’re relaxing. A waterproof toy is designed for it. That same experience would destroy a splashproof toy.

The waterproof rating really makes a difference during cleaning, though. When you’re done with a waterproof toy, you can submerge it in a bath of soapy water or hold it under a slowly-running tap to wash it. You don’t have to handle it with kid gloves; it can be near and tossed into water as much as you need to get it fully cleaned up.

What are Splashproof Sex Toys on the Ingress Protection Scale?

Splashproof toys, on the other hand, are IPX6 (or very, very rarely, IPX5).

Effectively, that means that splashproof toys can be lightly splashed on. If you want to be nerdy about it, an IPX6 sex toy can have water projected at it at all angles through a 12.5mm nozzle at a flow rate of 100 liters/min at a pressure of 100 kN/m2 for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 meters.

That’s, uh, a lot to take in.

In use, that effectively means that your IPX6 sex toy can handle the occasional splash, but you should not actively try to use it in or around water. It can’t go in the pool, hot tub, or bathtub.

Some manufacturers will state that IPX6 sex toys can be actively used in the shower, but that’s a risk tolerance you will have to decide. In an industry that’s full of waterproof options, I, personally, don’t think that risk of ruining a splashproof sex toy with a shower is worth it for me.

It’s a bit like my fitness wrist watch: it is technically IPX6, but if showering sends it to an early grave, it’s really not worth the extra time savings I get from not taking it off for a shower. I appreciate that it has that protection if I accidentally get caught out in the rain while shopping, but I try to avoid water exposure that’s unnecessary.

Splashproof sex toys really shine when it comes to cleaning. Their splashproof design makes for much easier cleaning. Instead of worrying that an errant water droplet may ruin your entire toy, you can clean it near the sink. You can hold it near your water spigot, and you can use your hands to splash water onto spots that need cleaning. This is so much easier than having to use a washcloth and worrying about water droplets.

For best results with a splashproof toy, when cleaning, avoid getting water anywhere near the toy’s control buttons, battery compartment, or charging ports. Those tend to be the weakest, water-sensitive areas.

Keep in mind that virtually all sex toys exclude water damage in their sex toy warranty. If a toy is injured by water, you will likely void your warranty. That’s partially why I really recommend aquatic caution around toys that aren’t waterproof: being without your expensive sex toy sucks.

Is the Rose Sex Toy Waterproof?

Any sex toy can be waterproof! It’s up to the exact manufacturer as to whether that toy is waterproof.

As the Rose sex toy has gained in popularity, hundreds of manufacturers now make a version of their own “Rose”, making for lots of different Rose toys out there.

How Do I Determine if My Sex Toy is Waterproof or Splashproof?

If you’ve owned a sex toy for awhile and want to know if it can go on an aquatic journey, you’re in for a little bit of an adventure.

For best results, look at the packaging on the exact toy model you purchased. If the packaging says it’s waterproof, you’re good to go! If you still have it around, you can also look at the instruction manual that comes with your toy. If its water resistance isn’t specifically mentioned, look at the cleaning information. If it mentions any sort of caution near water, it’s not waterproof.

If you don’t have the packaging or the instruction booklet, you can also look up the exact toy name OR check the website or retailer where you bought it. Exercise caution with this one. Sometimes, you just can’t remember what the toy was, and you don’t have access to your order history. If that’s the case, look at the sex toy itself. Name-brand sex toys tend to embed their brand name somewhere on the toy. If you can find that, you can do a Google search for the name (or a Lens search if it’s just an logo). Adding more options for use, the Kaotik Labs Jetpack can also sync with your cell phone via the wireless KooSync app. This lets the stroker synchronize with various online functionalities (more about that later!).

Let’s Talk Manual Control of the Kaotik Labs Jetpack

It takes a bit to figure out how to control the Jetpack. The buttons, themselves, are easily accessible. The button placement, right on both of the handles, makes manual control of the Jetpack a literal seamless dream.

Now figuring out what those buttons do takes a little bit. Even with my experience of reviewing thousands of sex toys, I had to spend awhile looking at the instruction manual (with its 14 noted locations).

The thumb of your left hand controls: (shown above)

• how high the sleeve is positioned
• the “position” mode: long strokes, mid-to-max strokes, mid strokes, shortest-to-mid strokes, and shortest strokes
• an increase in stroke speed
• a decrease in stroke speed

A battery-like LED light system here also will showcase the current battery level of your Jetpack.

• whether the Jetpack is on or off
• an increase in the current mode
• a decrease in the current mode
• whether the stroker enters Edging Mode

A small screen here displays the number of the current mode that you’re on, making it easy to figure out which modes you do (and don’t) like.

This is a lot to figure out at first, but once you know where everything is (and there’s a LOT to figure out!), the Jetpack’s button system turns into a control board of precise pleasure. You can easily swap the intensity, stroke location, stroke speed, and more with a few presses. Everything about the sensations is entirely electronic, allowing you to hit a few buttons and let the toy do all of the adjustments.

All of the buttons press down smoothly, with a nice, comfy “click”, and are extremely easy to access with your thumb. On some app-controlled sex toys, the manual control is a secondary afterthought. Here, it was clearly one of the primary factors in the design, and it’s an absolute dream to use (once you figure it out).

Stroke Length Patterns

Out of all of the automated penis sex machines we’ve ever reviewed, the Jetpack is the only one that offers variable up-and-down patterns. It replicates a human hand or blowjob WAY better than any other automated stroker we’ve ever tried. I love some of our other automated options, but they simply go up and down to the machine’s full length capacity.

The Jetpack can easily go up and down to a shorter length than its full capacity.

That means some of the patterned modes actually swap up how far up the shaft the Jetpack strokes. Confused? Let me try to explain it better.

The Jetpack can focus its stroke length into three different quadrants: the tip, the middle, and the base of the shaft. If you choose to utilize those shorter lengths, the Jetpack can swap between them on-the-fly. That means it may only stroke the 2″ of your shaft at the very bottom, doing super-short but full-shaft strokes. You can also stroke only the 2″ at the top, entirely ignoring the bottom of your penis.

In practice, with its patterned modes, it swaps between these quickly. So the Jetpack will do one or two strokes of just the top 2 inches before doing a full length stroke all the way up and down the penis. It might then up the speed a bit to do 3 or 4 super-short strokes full-length of your shaft before swapping up to a different spot on the shaft. Rinse and repeat.

It really replicates a blowjob or handjob more naturally than anything else we’ve ever tried. Just like a human partner constantly swaps things up to keep things interesting for themselves, the Jetpack can continually pleasure different parts of the shaft. While I’d never say any sex machine really feels “mundane”, the constantly-changing tempo and stroke length really “energizes” the entire Jetpack experience.

App Control of the Jetpack

Honestly, the buttons built into the Jetpack are probably my first-choice for controlling the stroker. Their ideal thumb placement means controlling the stroker is seamless. You can easily adjust things on the go without jostling the Jetpack or interrupting your jerk off session.

If you want to add functionality, though, the Jetpack is also Bluetooth enabled, allowing you to connect it to your cell phone (and the free KooSync app) for cell phone control of the Jetpack.

The cell phone app unlocks a ton of ways to play, including:

• Press-to-swap large buttons that easily swap between text-named modes your Jetpack is equipped with
• A visual playing field where you can drag and drop your finger to increase or decrease intensity
• The ability to control the intensity of multiple toys at once
• Create a one-off link to send to someone that gives them instant control the Jetpack
• Create your own patterned modes for the Jetpack to stroke to anytime you’re in the app
• Sync the stroking on the Jetpack to a built-in cell phone game called Peeling Master (I have quite literally no idea why anyone would do this. It’s an unarousing, relatively mindless, non-sexual game about cutting a fruit, and it requires a constant hand, making your Jetpack unstable while you’d play the game.)
• Sync the Jetpack to a speedometer which will speed up the faster you shake your phone OR the faster your phone is currently moving (like in a car). I don’t see this having much use for most people with the giant Jetpack (versus a public play friendly Svakom toy)
• Sync the stroker to videos on compatible porn sites on your cell phone. Currently, this is compatible with PornHub, XVideos, FeelXVideos, and ErikaLust.
• Sync the stroker to videos on a PC (not on your cell device). This requires downloading another program and app to your computer as well.
• Sync the stroker to any MP3s saved on your phone from music to audiobooks.

Most of these functions do NOT require you to sign up for an account. During my SVAKOM Jetpack review, I was up and using these functions for the first time within seconds of turning on the Jetpack. It connected in seconds, without any sign-up or account creation, and with zero hassle. The hardest part was finding the KooSync app in the Google Play store.

Many of these modes also let you turn up (or turn down) the sensitivity to the function you’re on. Let’s say you wanted to give a femdom control over the Jetpack, but you didn’t want to cum too quickly. You could reduce the highest allowable setting. When the femdom controls your stroker and sets it to intensity 100, you could have programmed “Intensity 100″‘s maximum allowable number to be only 20% of the device’s capacity. This helps you last longer for any marathon play. She gets to have fun controlling all the Jetpack from 0 to 100 while being unaware that you’ve turned down the highest capacity to help yourself last.

You can also turn off the display light – or decrease its intensity – if you’re playing in the dark or find the futuristic blue light to be annoying. I personally like the under-toy blue light.

The stroker connects to the app in seconds and with zero fuss. While I have some notes about its functionality to sync to live content (like videos or music) later in this SVAKOM Jetpack review, it responds to manual commands via the app flawlessly and with zero complaint.

How Does It Feel?

The Jetpack goes big.

That is, the Jetpack’s lowest stroking speed is above-average in speed, and it only goes up from there.

And we have never had a single lock up, freeze, or stuttering of the motor.

Unyielding in intensity, the Jetpack goes from “medium-fast strokes” all the way up to “jackhammer” level stroke speeds.

That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s important to note because it’s very difficult to use the Jetpack if you’re sensitive to orgasm and trying not to cum as soon as you slide inside of it. Whether that’s a biological sensitivity or premature orgasm training, the Jetpack’s lowest speed is already impressively fast.

If you’re someone who is frustrated by slower-stroking penis sex machines, you’re going to love the Jetpack. It has impressively fast speeds that are extremely stimulating – especially if you tighten up the suction for even more pull against your shaft.

If you’re someone who is sensitive and wants to draw out the sensation of the Jetpack as long as possible, the Jetpack is going to be way too stimulating.

It’s wild that “feels too orgasmic” is my complaint about the Jetpack, but here we are.

It feels like the penis version of the “Hitachi” Magic Wand Original. You know, the one with two speeds that only has “Power Tool” and “Power Tool on Turbo Mode” settings.

That is, the Jetpack only really has extremely stimulating stroking. If you’re sensitive or trying to draw things out, the Jetpack isn’t the penis sex machine for you. It’s simply too fast with no way to slow it down. You can loosen up the suction to reduce how tight it is, but for those who are sensitive, it just won’t be enough; it’s still way too fast and will bring on orgasm pretty freakin’ quick.

For our SVAKOM Jetpack review period, we’ve found that time and time again. If it’s been a few days since he’s cum, he pops himself into the Jetpack to end up in an orgasm within 30 seconds on the lowest setting.

We’ve only been able to get some extended time in the Jetpack by doing our SVAKOM Jetpack review testing as his second orgasm of the day. He’s then able to enjoy a good three minutes with the stroker.

To be fair, my “review subject” has an average-sized (in length and width, the machine glides more easily over thinner widths) shaft and is sensitive to stimulation.

If you’re someone who can last during jackhammering sex sessions and want to replicate that intensity with your stroker, the Jetpack is pretty much a god-send.

Not only does it have the motor and capability to replicate all of that intensity, but the dual-handled system gives you a lot more stability to keep the toy on your lap while it does it. The fast jackhammering thrusts can be a bit unwieldy on other toys. With the two handles on the Jetpack, jackhammering has never felt so stable.

Amazingly enough, with all of this constant movement, we’ve never had the motor lock up. It has never stuttered or slowed itself down due to encountering too much friction. When the lube starts to dry up, he has to pause and relube to get back into it; the reduction in lube doesn’t seem to affect the Jetpack’s ability to stroke at all. Compared to other penis sex machines that regularly froze up during use, having a worry-free, stimulation-constant experience with the Jetpack is really nice. (Also, even more orgasmic, not helping its overly-orgasmic issue.)

Let’s Talk Noise

A toy that powerfully shoved a stroker up and down a track isn’t quiet. It just…isn’t.

The SVAKOM Jetpack makes a shucking sound that sounds pretty in-tempo with someone jacking off. You know the meme for “fap fap fap” noises.

The Jetpack is not discreet-sounding, and the noises it does make are an interesting enough tempo that someone would assume a solo penis-owner in a bedroom would be doing….things.

Add this to the fact that the Jetpack is so large on your lap that it’s pretty impossible to quickly hide or provide any plausible deniability, and you end up with a sex toy that’s really not designed for discretion. It doesn’t need to be, but it’s something to be aware of.

That being said, the noise level isn’t horrific. I’ve used other strokers (looking at you, Lovense Max) that were so loud that it was frustratingly impossible to orgasm because it was so loud. I’ve used others that were just loud enough that I had to turn up my porn.

The Jetpack is neither. It makes noise, and it’s audible, but it’s a constant whirr that’s easy to plan around, and that doesn’t change much. You may initially need to turn up your porn a bit more to hear it over the Jetpack’s stroking noises, but that Jetpack noise remains pretty constant, making it something that easily fades into the background once you get all of your audio levels adjusted for your jerk off session.

Edging Mode!

According to the marketing information, the Jetpack is equipped with “Edging Mode”.

We were unable to find a single mention of “Edging Mode” in the instructions. (I even did a Control+F on the PDF version of the instructions for “Edging” to make sure I wasn’t just missing it.) There’s nothing in the instruction booklet about the Edging mode.

An email to a Kaotik Labs rep let me know that I could double-press the Power button, once on, to engage Edging mode.

After doing that, it does seem to engage a different mode. We just aren’t quite sure what, exactly, the mode is. As far as we can tell, it’s a full-length, base-level stroking that looks (literally) exactly the same as Mode 1’s stroking. Only, once you’re in Edging Mode, it seems to turn off the ability to press any of the Jetpack’s other buttons, so we weren’t able to find any way to customize Edging Mode or otherwise change any of the sensations.

This base-level Edging Mode stroking speed is already pretty fast. We’re struggling to reconcile this with edging play. If you watch most “gooners” or “edgers”, they usually will moderate their pace – all the way down to a snail’s pace – in order to keep stroking and avoid early orgasm.

The slowest stroking mode on the Jetpack is simply too fast for edging play. Without any way to crawl it down to ultra-slow, even this slowest speed will be an instant orgasm for anyone who is edging.

I’m not sure if we’re missing some way to engage or slow down the motor any further; through all of our SVAKOM Jetpack review trials, we’ve never seen the stroker go any slower than this base setting. I’m not sure if it currently has the capacity to do so.

That being said, for gooners out there who tend to play at a fast pace, the Jetpack is the only stroking machine I’ve ever seen that provides a 24/7 visual indicator of the battery life. Under your left thumb, you’ll see an LED bar that constantly displays the toy’s exact battery life. Perfect for edging and gooning lovers, you can time your session to work within the Jetpack’s own battery life. You won’t have any “surprise” turn-offs; you’ll know exactly how much juice is left.

That’s such a quality of life improvement for anybody who tends to want marathon stroking sessions – especially on a machine that offers an edging mode.

Customize the Sensations

The Jetpack is designed to fit different penis lengths and widths with two customizable option. The Jetpack offers adjustable height and adjustable interior suction.

When the toy is off, double press the Position button (on your left hand) to lower the stroker’s default starting position. This lets you adjust for penis length.

Like standard Fleshlights or KIIROO strokers, the end cap of the Jetpack’s stroker can also be tightened or loosened. When tightened up, the TPE stroker provides more of a “vacuum”, making everything feel much tighter. Fully loosening this cap will allow more airflow through, reducing how snugly the TPE stroker holds onto your shaft. While this doesn’t physically change the dimensions of the TPE material itself, it will give you a bit of leeway when it comes to a wider (or thinner) shaft.

As of right now, the Jetpack does not have any other purchasable sleeves to swap into the Jetpack. You can repurchase the original sleeve (which is nice as the TPE material will likely degrade faster than the electronics), but there aren’t any other varieties that could offer longer, shorter, tighter, or looser stroker fits as of this point.

All customization, for your shaft, will need to be done via the screw-on vacuum tightness cap and the machine’s ability to change in height. People with extra-long or extra-wide shafts will want to reach out to SVAKOM to determine if they’ll be comfortable.

SVAKOM Jetpack Review: Sex Positions

The Jetpack is somewhat limited in sex positions. That isn’t necessarily the end of the world; I’d guess that most people primarily jerk off while lying down, seated, or standing up, and the Jetpack comfortably supports two of those.

That is, the Jetpack is easiest and most comfortable to use if you’re sitting down. It lets the Jetpack’s weight rest on your thighs while simultaneously using gravity to stabilize all of the stroker’s heft onto your thighs. It’s so much easier to hold onto and stabilize than pretty much any other automated stroker on the market. Sitting also makes it easier to see and control your phone, temporarily holding the Jetpack with one hand to touch your cell phone, if you’re watching videos with the stroker’s built-in cell phone holder mount.

The Jetpack can be used while lying down. Through our SVAKOM Jetpack review tests, we found it a bit more unwieldy, but it’s possible. A pillow under the head helps a lot. It’s still easy to grip the handles, and the toy still stabilizes itself on the thighs, but using a cell phone becomes more of a trial. It can be hard to tilt the cell phone’s angle far enough downwards for your view, the phone is much further away from you, and it can feel like more of a reach to actually get your fingers onto the phone screen with precision.

Lying down use of the Jetpack is possible though – you just might want to plan for a different screen for any desired porn. The phone screen’s small size isn’t as immersive when your head is so far back from the Jetpack.

A standing sex position is…doable, but it’s a challenge. You’ll need to firmly hold onto the Jetpack’s two handles, supporting its 3 pound weight with your own body. Gravity isn’t assisting any longer, so you actively need to hold the Jetpack and push it into your body to help stabilize its movements with every stroke. It’s very difficult to let go of a handle to control your cell phone while standing if the Jetpack is on a higher speed. It makes the entire Jetpack feel unwieldy on your shaft.

Standing is doable, though. I just wouldn’t call it a great experience. Through my Svakom Jetpack review tests, though, the cell phone stayed solidly on the Jetpack though – even as the only thing holding it on was the mount of the cell phone holder. (The Jetpack doesn’t come with a cell phone holder; just the mount possibility for one. Make sure you get a high-quality cell phone holder if you plan on utilizing it often while standing.)

The Jetpack was clearly designed for seated use. It offers the most seamless cell phone control and the least effort for physically gripping and keeping the Jetpack on your lap.

If you don’t plan on using a cell phone, you can use the Jetpack at a computer desk – just make sure to note the height. If your computer desk has a slide-out keyboard that normally sits on your lap, you’ll need to keep the keyboard pushed in. The Jetpack has a height of about 9″, so you’ll likely be sitting further back from your desk and computer monitor than usual. During our SVAKOM Jetpack review trials, he would sit perpendicular from the desk, allowing him to use the mouse and one-hand-peck the keyboard while giving the large penis machine enough space to be usable on his lap. It was comfortable enough.

I will say: of all of the penis stroking machines on the market, the Jetpack is the most comfortable to hold. The “handles” require very little grip strength, and the light curvature of the base of the machine really anchors it between the thighs super comfortably. It barely feels like you’re holding anything; unlike some of the other machines that feel like gripping a small watermelon between your legs, the handles (and their natural button placement) make the Jetpack feel like a seamless masturbation treat.

SVAKOM Jetpack Review: It Moves with Online Videos!

The Jetpack is one of the few automated penis strokers on the market that can sync with mainstream porn tube sites. That is, if there’s a video on PornHub, XTube, or other tube sites that has toy control built into the video, the Jetpack can “sync” up to it.

(it’s important to note: the video ITSELF needs to have toy control built into it on the tube’s porn site. Not all tube site videos are equipped with toy synchronization tracks. As these Bluetooth enabled sex toys get more popular, quite a few videos are, but it isn’t all of them. Expect to see the sync tracks more often with vanilla, mainstream porn – both lesbian, gay, and hetero. Niche and fetish stuff is still pretty rare.)

If you’re struggling to find those videos, the Kaotik Labs app has links that lead you directly to playlists of videos that have the toy control built in. Here’s their PornHub options.

The synchronization to porn has been…okay. I wouldn’t say it’s the Jetpack’s strong suit. Realistically, I think the Jetpack’s lowest setting is simply too fast to match up with the slower pace of the “foreplay” of most sex videos. The Jetpack isn’t capable of slow, lanquid, lazy stroking. So when you’re seeing that on the sex video, the Jetpack is going its slowest speed….which is still a lot faster than what you’re seeing on the video.

This can feel a little jarring. As you start watching the video, the Jetpack will start up at a pretty intense speed while the video is still in its introductory slow phase. You know, she’s giggling and doing one light stroke every few seconds, and the Jetpack is already set into its slowest “fap fap fap fap fap” speed.

Once the video gets to the intense/rough/jackhammering part of the video, the speeds tend to match up better, and it can feel like the Jetpack is following the action.

If there’s no “shaft going into hole” action on the video screen, the Jetpack tends to sit still.

Mind you, throughout our SVAKOM Jetpack review trials, it still doesn’t sync perfectly. It’s a solid-enough approximation, but it’s not matched up well enough to the video to call it fully “synchronized”.

(It’s important to note that all of this sync information is built into the video itself. The Jetpack is simply following a built-in “sex toy control” track of information that overlays on top of the video. Someone, somewhere, programmed this sex toy control track, and the Jetpack follows along with these pre-made instructions as the video plays alongside it. This means, outside of the lowest speed issue, your Jetpack immersion experience is largely based on whoever programmed this “sex toy control” track. If the track does a poor job of matching up with the movement, the Jetpack will as well. It’s just following instructions. It does not have a thinking mind of its own.)

Still, the Jetpack has a loose “sync” to most of the videos we’ve watched. Accessing this sync doesn’t require any additional purchases or monthly fees, and it can move alongside a lot of mainstream videos on tube porn sites. There’s a lot to be said for having a wider range of videos – and those videos being free – even if the synchronization between the porn and the toy itself isn’t as good as other options I’ve reviewed.

The Jetpack can also sync to music. It has the same issue as it does with the porn; it really struggles with slower beats.

It looks like it uses an internal “equalizer” type of recognition system for determining when it’s going to stroke or not. So, think of it as a physical output of the equalizer screensavers built into music players. This means music with clear rests alternated with strong beats will perform best for music.

If you load a talking-only track into it (ASMR, audio porn, erotica audiobook, whatever), it seems to just kinda stroke constantly. It will pace on occasion, but it doesn’t have any idea between the swells or build-up the words might be communicating. It’s just listening to the physical noise of the words.

It uses the music saved onto the device where the app is loaded. It does not connect to external music services at this time. You’d need to save an MP3 track to your device to sync the Jetpack to it.

As a nice added bonus, if you’re someone who doesn’t want to deal with the phone, KooSync also can work on a PC by downloading some Chrome apps and settings things up that way. Kaotik Labs keeps instructions here.

Using a paddle is honestly really simple. In terms of impact play toys, it’s, by far, the easiest spanking toy to wield. While I generally recommend some good time spent practicing if you’re going to be using a flogger or riding crop, a BDSM paddle feels intuitive in most people’s hands, and you can usually swat your partner seconds after picking it up.

That means how to use kinky paddles looks like:

• Pick up BDSM paddle.
• Spank person in safe spot.

Realistically, though, while using kinky paddles isn’t complicated, using them well IS. It requires good handling of the paddle, good scene pacing, and good communication with your bottom. That’s why I’d realistically recommend this comprehensive list of how to paddle in BDSM:

• Sit and try the paddle on your own thigh ahead of time. Tap lightly. Tap heavily. Understand how the force you use, on this very particular paddle, affects the resulting sensations. Repeat this process any time you pick up a new paddle.
• When you’re ready to play with your partner, give one very light swat on a safe spot on your partner.
• Ask them how it felt. This doesn’t have to feel clinical. Something disguised as dirty talk like “Oooh, did you like being my naughty girl/boy?” can work. If you both are just trying this out and are unsure if you’ll like it, though, you may want to be more upfront with something like “Was that okay? Too hard? Too soft?”
• If they liked that intensity, use the same force to spank them again. In general, watch their body language. Most people will press their being-spanked area closer to you if they desire more, and they’ll pull their body away if things are too painful.
• Continue that intensity for less than five minutes. At that point, give that paddle and that intensity a break, allowing your bottom some time to process the pain and allow the feel-good hormones to come in. While you’re waiting, some things you can do:
  • putting down the paddle to rub their butt
  • spanking different (but still safe!) areas
  • taking pauses for dirty talk when they won’t be distracted by the spanking

• When you’re ready to restart spanking, continue at a lower intensity than you had previously been at. It’s never a good idea to surprise someone when coming back into the spanking. For good measure, this can be a good time to check back in verbally as well.
• Every time you add a bit more intensity, check back in verbally – especially as spanking is still new to the two of you.
• Add in breaks regularly, at least every 5 minutes. We want the endorphins to get flowing while avoiding overwhelming our bottom. Add dirty talk, oral sex, or anything else you want during those 5 minutes. We just want to give the body a bit of time to process all the sensations.
• Continue increasing and decreasing the intensity of the spanking until you both are ready to be done. If you don’t desire any bruising or marks, quit if you see little dots of red on the skin. Before the skin bleeds, a bottom’s skin will generally look like they have goosebumps, so keeping an eye out for piloerection (goosebumps’ official term!) in your spanking area can be a good starting point, regardless of skin tone. On pale/white skin, you can also look out for lots of redness or the start of skin discoloration from developing bruises.

When you’re done, don’t forget to clean (and sanitize, if applicable) your BDSM paddle too. Even if you don’t draw blood, skin still has oils on it that can negatively impact BDSM gear materials and eventually lead to a gross build-up too.

How to Use a Paddle Safely in BDSM?

Using a paddle safely in BDSM is all about location.

There are spots on the body that are unsafe to hit. The face, neck, spine, joints (like knees and elbows), and small body parts (like fingers and toes) are always a no-go. Direct impacts to any internal organs are also a no-go (like spanking directly onto the kidneys).

In general, the thicker and fattier the area, the safer it is to spank. Those squishier areas feel better to spank too, so it’s a win-win.

For the lowest risk possible, keep all of your spankings to the thighs and the meatiest parts of the butt. Luckily for us, this tends to be a sensitive, desirable zone for its proximity to everything between the thighs.

When playing around the butt and thighs, however, make sure you stay on the meatiest parts of the butt. Direct strikes to the kidneys (which reside right above the butt) can be very, very dangerous. Do a bit of an anatomy check to determine where your partner’s kidneys are (they’re above the hip bones and may slightly poke out from underneath the lower-most ribs), and avoid any swats to that area.

If you’re worried, this can be a great place for “pulled to the side” clothing to have a job. A thick denim skirt flipped upwards, towards the back, to expose the butt can help protect that area. If your partner needs to pull off their boxers to expose their skin for a spanking, “discard” their boxers on their lower back, giving you a visual reminder to ensure you don’t spank that zone.

Why Do BDSM Paddles Have Holes?

Some paddle manufacturers add holes throughout the surface of the BDSM paddle. Since the paddle now allows air to travel through its center (and isn’t just a flat board trying to push air around it), this allows for easier and faster handling.

Some bottoms say they can’t necessarily “tell” a difference between a paddle with holes and a paddle without holes in a kinky blind test.

Whether you choose a paddle with holes or a paddle without will mostly be personal preference.

There are a few things to note between the two though:

• A paddle with holes will be easier for the top to handle. Since it has less wind resistance, it takes less force to hit with it. This can be especially helpful for those who find swinging a regular paddle to be problematic or fatiguing for whatever reason.
• A paddle with holes is easier for the top to handle. This means your “usual” strike strength will need to be adjusted or else you risk causing pain you didn’t intend to. Make sure to test this one out on your own thighs to get a feel for the paddle. If you’re a top who likes to swing with your full strength to get into your role, a paddle with holes may be a poor fit.
• A paddle with holes has, well, holes. This can make it more difficult to clean. If any blood or bodily fluids get on the paddle, you need to clean within the holes too. For sanitization purposes, this can make it pretty difficult (if not impossible) to confidently sanitize.
• A paddle with holes has spots for the bottom’s skin to “go”. A paddle with holes will be more likely to cause marks on your bottom. Since the paddle’s surface isn’t flat, every hard thwack will cause the bottom’s skin to travel into these holes every-so-slightly. This can cause more wear and tear on the skin or cause the skin to abrade against the edges of these holes. Paddles with holes are more likely to cause marks, cuts, and blood – especially on fleshier, squishier bits, so play with extreme caution if marks are on the no-go list.
• Paddles with holes provide a different visual. If you’re not into the feel of these paddles but love the look, don’t forget about the magic of a mindfuck. You can easily purchase a paddle with holes and leave it out for your bottom to see. When you spank, however, just add a blindfold and swap over to the paddle without holes. Best of both worlds. ;)

Kinky people are crafty and love their different sensations, and kinky paddles are no exception. Faux Fur Paddles

This is where I recommend everyone start. A faux fur BDSM paddle offers all of the fun of paddling and spanking without all of the “ouch!”. You get the sensation, the sound, and activity of paddling but without a hard, firm material that feels like a painful slap across the ass.

If you had to compare it to a household object, I’d say that being spanked with a faux fur feels a bit like being spanked by a firm cardboard roll (like from paper towels or wrapping paper). You can feel the sensation, but it doesn’t leave that intense stinging that a “slap” does. (Faux fur paddles are much more durable than cardboard rolls, though, don’t worry!)

Your biggest downside of a BDSM faux fur paddle is that it’s made from faux fur. Faux fur can be particularly hard to take care of, and it can show “age” (via its matted surface) a lot faster than other paddle materials like wood. Faux fur paddles are also going to be a no-go for any sort of messy play that includes bodily fluids or blood. Not only is it going to be near-impossible to sanitize, but those types of messes can clump up the faux fur which is not the “sexy faux fur look” you’re going for!

Even if you turn into a pain slut who wants the most painful sensations possible, a faux fur paddle can still function as your warm-up paddle, serving you years down the line. I can honestly say I use my trusty faux fur paddles way more than my other specialized paddles. A faux fur paddle can be the introduction to any spanking, and most bottoms can take a lot of swats of them. The other paddles on this list need to be used more sparingly because they cause more “ouch”.

Leather and Faux Leather Kinky Paddles

Your next stop after faux fur paddles will be leather (faux or otherwise) paddles. These paddles are your middle-of-the-road paddles that can go as hard (or as gentle) as you want them to. Use a faux leather paddle with force, and you’ll get a painful, stingy sensation. That same faux leather paddle can be used gently, and you’ll get a nice “tap” on the skin that feels a bit like spanking someone with a cereal box. It’s the best of both worlds!

Avoid the most budget-friendly options here. Some of the lowest-priced faux leather paddles lack a rigid internal core. They flop around all wiggly-like with every swat. Since faux leather paddles are one of the most common types of paddles out there, bottom-of-the-barrel manufacturers will skimp in order to sell them at the cheapest price point. While this can make it easier to get ahold of on a very limited budget, it also makes for a paddle that is harder to handle and will fall apart in just a few uses.

Middle of the line paddles (in the $20 to $40 range) will have the highest likelihood of a nice, sturdy design. This can make them easier to handle, aim, and predict the exact sensation you will cause your partner. All of that is vital when you’re giving a spanking!

It’s worth noting that high-end, REAL leather requires special care. Real leather was once the literal skin of an animal. While genuine leather can feel (and smell!) luxurious, it can be difficult to care for. Harsh disinfectants, unsurprisingly, are harsh on skin – living or otherwise – and lots of thorough sanitization of your real leather paddle can leave the material brittle and broken. As genuine leather paddles are so expensive, people who need to sanitize their gear often may prefer a different material type.

“Faux” or “Fake” leather is a manufactured, synthetic material, and it retains some of the “look” of genuine leather without the same care considerations. Many a faux leather BDSM paddle is also vegan, making it a good fit if that’s important for you.

Double-Sided Paddles

A “double-sided paddle” offers a different material on each side of the paddle. Most commonly, one side is fully covered in faux fur while the opposing side is a leather (faux or real) material.

This allows you to hop between the benefits of faux fur and leather within seconds! These paddles, alongside my full faux fur ones, tend to be the most used paddles in my entire toybox because they’re so versatile. It’s, essentially, two paddles in one!

While faux fur and faux leather tend to be the most common, any two different materials can make up a double-sided paddle. For example, a leather paddle may have a side with metal spikes and a flat, plain-leather side. For super nerdy kinksters, double-sided paddles, complete with “LEGO bricks” on only one side, can also be found.

Silicone BDSM Paddles

A relatively new addition to the world of BDSM paddles, we have silicone paddles. These are paddles made out of the same type of body-safe, sterilizable material that some of your favorite sex toys are made from.

This, essentially, means that you can sanitize it entirely! Especially if you’re someone who tends to play hard (with lots of blood) or with multiple people, the ability to ensure your toys are perfectly clean between uses is huge. Most other materials don’t offer this.

However, because silicone feels like silicone, silicone paddles can really, really hurt. They can feel a bit like being spanked by a part of a rubber tire. This can be compounded by the fact that most of the silicone paddles on the market don’t have a plastic/metal core inside of them. This makes the paddle extremely flexible (note my photo that shows it easily bending back on itself). This flexibility allows the tip of the paddle to gain a lot of momentum with each swat for some serious pain potential.

We enjoy spanking, but we rarely pull out the silicone paddles unless we’re really into pain that day. For those of you who want the most painful spanking possible, though, silicone paddles will be your BFFs.

Wood BDSM Paddles

However, if you pick up a wood BDSM paddle, you have to be ready for quite a bit of pain. There is no softness to a slab of wood. It hits, and it hits heavy – even without much effort from the person wielding it. This can be a benefit for the wielder; it takes less physical force to elicit some intense reactions from the bottom.

As you could probably guess, though, wood paddles are made from natural wood. Because wood is known for having holes and splinters, most wood paddle crafters use coats of sealant on the wood. If that sealant gets scratched up, it can be impossible to sanitize all the cracked crevices of your wood paddle, requiring it to be fluid-bonded to whomever you’re using it with.

If you like supporting small businesses, you’ll find many kinky artisans craft paddles from wood or leather, so you may find yourself with these materials if you aren’t going for mass-produced kink gear.

What BDSM Paddle is Best for Sharing?

If you’re a kinkster who regularly takes their toybag (with the same paddles) to play parties, some materials are better than others. You want a kinky paddle material that can be easily sanitized. As impact play can regularly draw blood, it is vital you don’t accidentally bring the blood of one partner to a completely-unexpecting partner the next time you play.

With that in mind, I’d recommend sticking to texture-free acrylic and silicone paddles. Both can be easily cleaned and sanitized. Acrylic can even be fully sanitized with industrial disinfectant wipes right after play, allowing you to use it again in 20 minutes on a completely different partner in the same night.

The big downside? Both of them tend to hit like a train. They both are stingy, pain-filled heavy-hitters.

With the low cost of faux fur paddles, if a softer touch is desired, I’d recommend picking up a unique faux fur paddle for each individual partner you have. Alternatively, if you have basic sewing skills, you could buy cheap faux fur from the craft store and sew it into a “sock” that will fit overtop of the spanking surface of one of your silicone/acrylic paddles. Swap out your “sock” for each individual partner. Everybody gets their own sock. (teehee) This will provide some of that softer touch without endangering your casual partners.

(Important note: Textured paddles add risk. If there’s anything on your BDSM that has hidden crevices or may make it harder to sanitize every centimeter of it, it carries additional risk. The safest options will have completely smooth, scratch-free surfaces free of any texture or crevices.)

As sex toy tech improves, the sex doll industry is utilizing those same improvements. Today’s Salorein Sabrina review focuses on a brand new brand that’s making sex dolls equipped with automated sucking and vibration. Not just an inanimate object, Salorein’s dolls have built-in electronics that add even more pleasure on top of the “standard” love doll experience.

The Sabrina is the company’s flagship sex doll and squarely middle of the line in size, as of July 2026. It isn’t their smallest, and it isn’t their largest. Unlike most torso sex dolls, the Salorein Sabrina only has a single penetratable tunnel: a vagina with a length of 6″. To make space for all of the electronics, the anal hole is a zero-depth hole that’s only there for show.

It’s made from TPE, and it’s fully rechargeable (that feels weird to say about a sex doll). Because of this electronic component, the Sabrina is NOT waterproof; it is splashproof only and ZERO water should get near the control panel on the doll’s left arm. (The tunnels are isolated from the electronics, though, and can be freely cleaned with as much water spray as you need; just not submerged.)

The official manufacturer’s decibel rating says the doll operates under 45dB in noise level. This is impressive considering the “standard” for many standard vibrators is a noticeably-louder 55dB. The doll is noticeably quieter than some vibrators.

Official measurements put the Salorein Sabrina at a height of 19″, a breast circumference of 30″, a waist circumference of 18″, and a hip circumference of 32″. That puts the Sabrina squarely smaller than the smallest sizes at Victoria’s Secret by multiple inches. If you’re going to grab lingerie for this sex doll, aim for XXS sizes with adjustable bands and designs. Salorein Sabrina Review: That Discreet Shipping

I know how it goes: you’re getting a big package delivered to your house, and you don’t want your neighbors to know exactly what it is.

If you somehow have a shipping gremlin who made it through all THOSE boxes AND unzipped the black storage bag (that comes zipped), the sex doll itself is stored inside of a styrofoam shell that’s fully taped up. You have to cut through all of the tape fastening the styrofoam lid to the base before you can see the sex doll.

So, long-story-short: a heavy, boring box is going to show up at your house, and even if the mail system manages to let a dinosaur partially eat it, your neighbors still won’t know what’s inside of the box.

Controlling the Sabrina

On the doll’s left arm, there’s a control panel with a single button. This control panel houses everything about the powered functionality. It has the air suction hole, a single button, and the two magnetic charging prongs.

When you want to activate the suction or the vibration, you simply lean forward and press the button on the doll’s left arm. This turns on the powered functions of the doll.

This is a very comfortable lean for us. The sex doll isn’t too tall, so it’s honestly a shorter reach than trying to figure out where the TV remote went. It feels a bit like reaching for a glass of water at dinner; it’s a reach, but it’s a comfortable one.

The button presses down easily, with a satisfying click, to pop on the intensity that you want.

The Sabrina is controlled by the single button. Both the suction and the vibration intensities are mapped to this single button with 5 modes to choose from.

That means, when you turn on the sex doll, you turn on both Level 1 Vibrations and Level 1 Suction. Another button press is Level 2 Vibrations and Level 2 Suction. The two functions are paired to one another with no way to control them individually.

This is unfortunate as the higher-level suction intensities border on painful for us, but we’ll get to that in a little bit. Just be aware they’re controlled together.

Salorein Sabrina Review: Charging

All of that means, yes, the Salorein Sabrina sex doll will need to charge.

I’m really salty about the included charging cable. It’s proprietary, so you’ll need to use it, but it’s much too short for a sex doll.

However, when I pointed this out to Salorein, they’ve already said that they’ve taken the feedback into account, and future charging cables will be 50% longer with a stronger magnetic connection to reduce accidental disconnections. (I’d honestly really even prefer to see a 100% length increase, but the 50% will help dramatically.)

If you’re worried about this, check with Salorein before purchasing your Sabrina to ensure it has the upgraded hardware.

Otherwise, if you’re okay with the first generation, be aware that your sex doll will need to be very close to the outlet with nothing touching it. A gentle brush can dislodge the magnetic connection and stop the doll from charging.

Let’s Talk Suction

The suction can be a lot. If you are someone who picks up a Fleshlight and leaves the cap fully tightened on, you’re going to fall in love with the Salorein Sabrina. At its highest suction settings, it feels like a fully-enclosed suction chamber with some of the most impressive suction we’ve ever felt.

In theory, this is amazing. On the first and second intensity levels, we like it. He says it feels like being squeezed by someone’s pelvic floor muscles; the 2nd intensity feels closer to the tightness of someone as they’re having an orgasm with strong, intense contractions.

Where we start having an issue is on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th intensity levels.

The 3rd suction intensity level is borderline painful for him. The suction strength is so strong that he can feel the plastic/firm walls of the Sabrina squeezing the tip of his head. If he’s actively thrusting, he ends up shoving the sensitive tip into this wall of firm plastic.

Through our Salorein Sabrina review tests, we’ve found the 3rd setting can be workable if he’s only half-way in. This ensures the suction mechanism can’t touch the tip of his shaft, and he only feels the squeeze that the soft TPE tunnel makes around him.

We’ve both slid fingers into the doll to experience the suction mechanism and see what it feels like, and it does feel like two rigid “plates” on either side of the tips of the fingers, squeezing together very firmly at the deepest spot in the doll.

The 4th and 5th are just unusable for us. It squeezes so hard that it hurts him, and he ends up having to pull out, already soft from how painful it was.

We’ve tried this quite a few times now for this Salorein Sabrina review, and the upper intensities of the suction are just too much.

I think how tightly this grips you will depend on your shaft size. He has a relatively average shaft diameter at almost exactly 1.5″. If you’re smaller in thickness, you’ll find that you have more “space” in the doll, making those really tight squeezes feel less intense.

The opposite is also true. If you’re thicker than average, you might find that the 2nd intensity level is already too tight for you.

Penis length may matter as well. If you’re not going all the way into the back of the tunnel (the vaginal tunnel is 6″ in length), you may never run into the suction’s physical mechanism. If you’re only feeling the “results” of the suction on the squishy TPE material throughout the outermost parts of the vagina, this may avoid this problem entirely.

After bringing this feedback to Salorein, they say there are changes in the works to tweak the intensity levels, and they’re looking into the feasibility of whether it’s possible to independently control the vibrations from the suction.

It Has Vibrations Too!

That’s because the Salorein Sabrina has vibrations too! With each suction level increase, you also get stronger vibrations.

We enjoyed the vibrations on levels 1 through 3, and when we attempted 4 and 5, the suction issue was too uncomfortable to pay attention to the vibrations.

It’s a shame the two functions are partnered with one another; we both agree that we’d love to be able to keep the doll on its lowest suction level while simultaneously increasing and decreasing the vibration intensities to suit our needs. We like the idea of the sex doll becoming “even more intense” through added vibration stimulation.

The vibrations aren’t the strongest in the world, but they add pleasure to an already-pleasurable experience. The doll’s base texture is already enough for an easy orgasm, so the vibrations are just a cherry on top. If he slides inside the doll and stays still, the vibrations + suction are enough for an orgasm without even needing to stroke in and out.

If the vibrations existed outside the sex doll on a clitoral vibrator, I’d say they were on the lower end of moderate. Inside of a sex doll that’s already really stimulating and partnered with suction, they add even more sensation to something that’s already really stimulating and hot AF.

When we’ve left the doll on levels 1 and 2, we do find that, eventually, the vibrations start to become numbing. After about 20 minutes of steady vibrations, you lose some of that pleasure reward as the skin gets used to the shaking. While this is another reason I wish I could unpartner the vibrations from the suction, it does also mean that you’ll probably want to finish sooner rather than later if you turn on the doll’s vibrations and want to leave them on.

(Though once you turn on those vibrations and suction, it becomes extremely pleasurable, and you’re going to find that you want to cum pretty fast. Only those kinky nerds who are intentionally trying to avoid orgasm are probably going to be the ones not-cumming once the electronic functions are popped on.)

If you’re someone who’s going to use your sex doll for edging or JOI, you’ll probably want to play with the Sabrina like we do: often turning the doll on and off, popping onto the lowest intensities for a few minutes then turning them back off. This prevents your body from getting used to the sensations while simultaneously adding a few minutes of “holyshit this feels good” before you get too close.

Salorein Sabrina Review: How Orgasmic Is It?

The Salorein Sabrina is orgasmic, regardless of whether you want to use the suction and vibration functions.

The tunnel itself is already really stimulating. Even with his eyes closed during some of our Salorein Sabrina review tests, he could still easily cum within a minute or two of sliding inside of this sex doll.

If you add the visuals of the doll to the equation, it gets even more pleasurable.

That is, the breasts bounce beautifully. Any faster thrusts into the doll will get the breasts bouncing up and down, naturally following the motion of the thrusting in a way that’s honestly hard to take your eyes off of. This can be more-than-enough to make the Sabrina overly stimulating, making you shoot off quickly.

Anytime you want to add extra stimulation, the suction and vibration intensities are there, just waiting. It’s easy to lean over the doll, pressing and holding down the button to pop on the electronic functions. (It’s not even much of a reach)

The first setting adds quite a bit to the experience. If we’re not careful, just turning it on is an instant orgasm for him (paired with the thrusting he was already doing).

As a trial for our Salorein Sabrina review tests, we also wanted to see if he could orgasm from just the electronic parts. Turns out, yep! If he was mostly (but not fully) into the sex doll on the 2nd suction intensity, some squeezing of the breasts, despite staying completely still, would eventually milk the orgasm out of him. It wasn’t even too “hard-fought” of an orgasm. It came on pretty naturally for him, and he compared it to when he’s had the same thing done by biological partners (staying still while the vaginal muscles just squeeze around his shaft).

That’s to say: you’re going to have orgasms with Sabrina. The tunnel feels good, the firmness of the thighs feel realistic against the abdomen, and the suction and vibration can add even more stimulation. The breast physics help a lot too, with breasts that bounce and squeeze really well.

(To be fair, they don’t look “realistic”. They’re too perky and huge for that. But they look like a fantasy version of extra-large breasts, and they do that job perfectly.)

The Noise?

I really thought this would be louder than it is.

It’s not “whisper quiet”, but it’s not uncomfortably loud either. I’ve owned clitoral vibrators that made more noise than this one.

That being said, it doesn’t make a constant “thrum” or “hum” that’s easy for a passerby to ignore.

The suction makes a “WHIRRRR” while it tightens, then it’s a light “woosh” of air as it releases the tightness it has pulled in. It then repeats that noise, varying the noise just enough that someone might get curious enough to investigate through a closed door.

The vibrations make your standard “buzz” that remains constant. It’s a light vibration noise, and it’s easy to forget it’s even happening as the backdrop for the sex doll’s suction.

Neither sound – even on the highest settings – are loud enough to be distracting. Neither needed us to turn up the porn or speak up over it during our sex doll scene. It makes noise, but it’s slightly quieter than a wand massager, and it makes less noise than most of the automated penis stroking machines (like the KEON).

I doubt you’re using a giant-ass sex doll in public or trying to use it at home with family (if family is out, the zippered, lockable storage bag does make for possible storage!). But if you have respectful roommates who don’t go into your private bathroom while the doll is drying, it’s possible to use this in a shared home as long as the bedroom door is shut, music is on, and the other occupants are not in adjoining rooms or in the hallway next to your bedroom door.

Let’s Talk Design

The Salorein Sabrina might be one of my favorite “all in one” sex dolls. That is:

• It feels compact. Because of the internal electronics, the doll feels very compact and less like Jell-O. This makes the doll much easier to handle. I don’t worry about picking it up; a grip around the hips, and the doll lifts with relative ease.
• It’s actively lighter weight too. It’s less than 30 pounds, making it a lot easier to carry around for cleaning and use. (I still wouldn’t try Cowgirl with it; it’s heavy for that!)
• That light weight is due to the less-than-life-size ratio. The Sabrina is NOT life-size. However, it maintains realistic adult ratios…just in a shrunk-down form. This means the doll can be used on virtually every surface of our house. It’s “there” enough to press against the body with every thrust in an arousing way while being heavy enough that it doesn’t slide on surfaces.
• The breasts bounce beautifully. The breasts behave wonderfully during play; they bounce all over the place with a nice “jiggle” with every thrust. They feel super squishy and rewarding to put your hands on them. (“Paw at them” is realistically how I’d describe my default motion to grab at them.) The breasts don’t look realistic (they’re way too big and too perky), but they’re rewarding in a primal, “I like boobs!” kind of way.
• The vulva is well-designed. It looks realistic with longer inner labia and a clitoris. It has a light blush to it. That being said, the “vaginal entrance” is actually positioned underneath the vulva itself (it’s a bit of a weird placement) and not in-between the labia themselves.

It doesn’t go above-and-beyond in any of those facets, but when all of them are put together, it makes a solidly, overall, well-rounded doll that happens to have a ton of features that are perfect for me.

We’re Still Uncomfortable with Cleaning

One of the big downsides of putting anything electronic in a sex doll is that sex dolls tend to be a bit ol’ pain in the ass to clean.

That’s not necessarily the doll’s fault. You have to drag your own body into the shower or bath to clean it; IT needs a full-body bath to clean it too, but it can’t do it itself. That means you have to do it.

This is where having electronics in a sex doll scare me a bit.

After double-checking with the manufacturer, I have the definitive answer:

Salorein Sabrina is NOT waterproof, but the only water-sensitive part is the control panel on the doll’s left arm. Ensure the doll is off before cleaning it.

The fuckable tunnel is in a completely different area from the electronic bits, and you can spray water up there as much as you’d like.

The doll can NOT be submerged in water, and you should not get any water near the control panel on that left arm. As you get closer to that control panel, swap from water streams (like a shower head) over to a washcloth or something easier to control to ensure you don’t accidentally drip water where you don’t want it.

For all of our Salorein Sabrina review tests, we’ve dumped the sex doll onto the floor of our shower and used a handheld showerhead, turned down to low, targeted pressure, to spray the doll where cleaning is needed. We actively avoid the control panel on the sex doll’s arm, but we still spray the water up inside the doll’s only fuckable tunnel. We’ll wash off the hips and waist (we usually get lube there).

Cleaning the breasts is usually when we have to have a lot more caution; the chest is near the arm. Ruining a brand new sex doll because water got into the control panel is not something I want to do.

I’d caution you to watch for the same. Understand that the Salorein Sabrina will require more careful cleaning than your average sex doll; because it has electronic components, we don’t want to get water where it shouldn’t go. Having a handheld showerhead with adjustable pressure and spray size will help tremendously, but you can also use an enema/douche bulb and a gentle washcloth to spot clean as an alternative.

That being said, Sabrina’s size makes the doll easier to clean than some of our other dolls. Because of all of the electronics and the doll’s slightly-smaller size, the Sabrina doll is easier to pick up and move around. It feels like a cohesive, soft-but-compact doll, and it isn’t a “prepare to pick up a heavy package” feel like some other dolls. It’s still not light, but it’s much easier to move around, making it less of a hassle to maneuver around water sprays.

We’ve used and cleaned this doll about 25 times in preparation for this Salorein Sabrina review, and it’s still doing a-okay! (We did accidentally dye some purple streaks on it – we literally have no idea what fabric did it – but the electronic components are still functioning fine!)

That Storage Bag!

I’m seriously getting spoiled from these complimentary storage bags; these “comes free with your doll” black storage bags are the fuck doll storage method of my dreams.

The Salorein Sabrina comes with its own storage bag. This black bag is made with PVC with some pretty solid features:

• It has zero exterior markings. Not one. Not a brand, nothing. It’s plain and black and boring.
• It has two sewn-in handles. These nylon handles feature a padded, velcro-fastened gripping point if you hold them together.
• It has two zippers. You can easily thread a lock between the two zippers, locking the bag closed.
• It has a single, large exterior storage pouch. This pouch is large enough to fit multiple other sex toys if you want. For more immediate concerns, it easily fits all of the sex doll cleaning supplies, the manufacturer’s manual, Sabrina’s charging cable, sex doll drying sticks, and more.

Inside this black storage bag is the styrofoam shell. There’s a lid and a bottom. Put the sex doll inside its styrofoam shell, ensure the shell’s pieces align, and you can zip the black PVC bag around the shell, entirely protecting the doll.

I LOVE this storage method, and it’s worth its weight in gold. Moving the sex doll around is so much easier with this storage bag; we literally took this doll to a hotel takeover with zero issues. It was entirely discreet, surprisingly easy to tote around, and kept the doll protected through the entire journey. Then we took it to a romantic hotel getaway. Still no problems. It’s definitely a “luggage cart” type of item, but getting it into the car and through the hotel is easy with this bag.

My only wish is that it had a shoulder strap as I’m more comfortable carrying things around my shoulder. That’s a minor complaint, and I love TF out of this storage bag.

This beats carrying around the shipping box (ridiculously annoying and hard) and putting it in a plastic storage tote (awkward handles) any day.

The only thing to note: the black storage bag is made from fabric, and the interior shell is styrofoam. You shouldn’t stack anything too heavy on top of this. Whereas I can stack my other sex dolls, stored in plastic totes, on top of one another due to the plastic bin’s sturdy walls, you can’t do that here. You’ll end up cracking the styrofoam shells under heavy loads.

You can easily put lightweight things on top; just avoid anything over 20 pounds or so.
