What is Sexual Gore?

Gore is, by definition, “violent images or scenes that show a lot of blood.” (Thanks Dictionary Britannica.)

You can, essentially, take that exact same premise and attach it to sexual arousal.

Someone who has a fetish for gore is someone who has a fetish for violence, cuts, blood, and “gory” injuries (like deep gashes – not necessarily a sprained ankle). Someone with a gore fetish isn’t necessarily violent or dangerous; they might like looking at the results but have no interest in ever being the cause for those injuries. Illustrated art, often, showcasing the “victim” as someone who wanted the violent act done to them, are common for gore fetishists.

(As a sidenote, if you like the idea of some of the violence but dislike blood, “candy gore” is also a thing. It shows the same premises as gore (missing limbs, deep cuts and injuries) but with playful colors and non-anatomical innards.)

A lot of people into gore enjoy scenario-specific gore. This kink has a lot of overlap with cannibalism, kidnapping, alien abductions, non-consensual scenarios, serial killer fetishism, and more.

Even with that in mind, though, I would never suggest looking at gore porn unless it’s your kink. It can be extremely jarring (in a terrifying, uncomfortable way) if you aren’t prepared for it.

If you’re an erotica reader, the genre “dark romance” can be very similar in vibe.

It’s important to note that most gore fetishists get their rocks off through fantasy scenarios. Whether that’s fully-consensual roleplay, illustrated pictures, animated videos, or written erotica, most gore kinksters play out their fantasies without negatively impacting another human being. While “snuff films” are real, actual things, there is very little overlap between people who crave snuff films and people with a gore kink.

Storing the Tantaly Hannah

Before we dive into the sex doll itself, it’s worth really featuring one of Tantaly’s biggest selling points:

Their larger dolls come with a complimentary, discreet storage bag.

As far as I’m aware, they are the only sex doll company that does this.

This complimentary, discreet black storage bag is honestly really solid. We toted this sex doll through the middle of an international, busy AF hotel at check-in with zero issues. (Okay, it was heavy as hell, but zero issues traveling discreetly.)

The black storage bag is built tough AF; it’s essentially PVC/polyester and nylon. There are zero brands or exterior markings on it, and it has a two zipper zip-up system to allow you to lock it if you want (locks aren’t included).

It even has handles!

Essentially, your Tantaly Hannah comes in a multi-layered protection system. When you receive your doll, you’ll see the exterior boring brown shipping box. Once you cut through that, you get to the very-orange Tantaly-branded retail box. Once you cut through that, you’ll see the zipped-up black storage bag with the doll zipped inside of it.

When you pull it out of the boxes and place the black storage bag outside of those shipping boxes, you can unzip the black storage bag. Inside the black storage bag is a gigantic styrofoam “shell”. Once you untape the shell’s top from its base, you can open up the styrofoam “shell”, and the Tantaly Hannah will be resting inside of it.

This is a fantastic way to store the sex doll at home.

I will say: when we took this to that aforementioned hotel, the bellman was a bit rougher with it than I would have liked, and we do have a crack in the styrofoam now. It is, after all, just super-thick layers of styrofoam. You might want something sturdier if your plan is to make house calls with your sex doll, but if you’re just hoping to have a good storage solution around the house, the complimentary bag (with handles!) is really fantastic.

(Sidenote: As noted, the nylon bag just zips around the styrofoam “shell”. This means the shell is always slightly ajar. All this to say: assuming you have the same issue we have, you can store light items on top of the doll like a shoebox or two, but I would not store anything heavy on top of it.)

Damn, that Physique!

We love the look of the Tantaly Hannah.

Designed to be their “sportier” sex doll, the Hannah has thick thighs, a slimmer chest, muscled thighs, and the faintest outline of abs.

The sex doll muscles feels the same as other sex dolls; the “muscles” do not come in a different TPE or TPR density. They look like a strong, muscled thigh, but they have the same squishiness as the neck or the arms or the butt.

(With the Tantaly’s trademarked TantaBosom technology, the breasts feel very different, but the breasts are unique, and we’ll get to that.)

That all being said, there’s a reason most of the marketing photos of the Hannah show the sex doll’s vulva clothed. While there’s a realistic vulva and vagina in there, I wouldn’t say it’s lifelike or detailed. If Tantaly had to cut costs somewhere, I’d say they did it on the vagina and anal appearance. They exist, but they look almost hentai-ish in their simplistic appearance.

Most of the time, money, and effort definitely went into the Tantabosom realistic breasts and the lightly muscled physique.

That Trademarked Tantabosom Technology

These boobies jiggle. Wow, do they jiggle.

The Hannah sex doll is equipped with Tantaly’s trademarked Tantabosom technology. Essentially, the breasts are made from a different, squishier and lighter, material than the rest of the sex doll.

As someone who has used quite a few sex dolls, this Tantabosom technology really, really makes a difference. When all of the material of your sex doll is the same density, it tends to move as a whole unit. The sex doll momentum moves forward, and then backwards, as a whole, with every thrust.

The Tantabosom changes that. By making the material separate, lighter gel density, it moves and jiggles independently of the rest of the doll’s momentum. Heavy thrusts cause the breasts to bounce and jiggle every time, really standing out from the rest of the doll’s more static position. Y’know, they look like the squishy bags of adipose tissue that they are on human beings; add-on squishy bits that sit on top of the chest muscles.

Tantabosom is a huge upgrade to your visuals.

The breasts on this sex doll are equipped with these cum-inducing visuals, and they’re, by-far, the best breast physics we have on any sex doll we own.

Texture-wise, they feel squishier, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s worth the upgrade if you’re going for the squish. The Tantabosom breasts feel realistic (we went back and forth between my breasts and the doll’s, and they feel very similar aside from temperature differences).

However, other Tantaly sex dolls I own have non-Tantabosom breasts that are pretty good to squeeze too. They don’t feel as “air-y” and “light” as the Tantabosom breasts, but the “average”, non-Tantabosom Tantaly sex doll breasts are still pretty darn good for squeezing.

Tantaly also says you need to squeeze Tantabosom breasts with caution. Aggressively squeezing or rubbing the breasts can harm the material inside the Tantabosom.

With that in mind, if you want the jiggly breasts visual, Tantabosom is worth its weight in gold. If you know you’ll be rough on the breasts, plan to use the sex doll mostly in doggy, or don’t necessarily look at the breasts that often, you may not notice the lack of Tantabosom (or may prefer the non-upgraded breasts if you plan to get rough with them.)

Tantaly also offers Tantabutt upgrades, but the Hannah sex doll does not have it. In sex dolls with Tantabutt, Tantaly takes this same lightweight material density and uses it for the butt as well. Note how, in the slap GIF above, the butt jiggles with the same momentum that the thighs do.

Tantaly Hannah Review: Let’s Talk Pleasure

I have nothing but orgasmic praise for the Tantaly Hannah.

If you can tolerate moving around a sex doll, the Hannah rewards you in spades.

With every thrust, the doll’s squishy, wide body presses back into you, giving you the realism you were craving.

In Missionary and doll-on-back positions, those Tantabosom breasts bounce hypnotically, offering you a show that’s impossible to resist (and makes you cum pretty fast).

The thick body and firm hip joints mean you can pound really roughly into the doll without much worry. It holds up fine and will keep taking what you give it.

The sex doll’s heft means that it stays in place really nicely – even on the soft, slick surface of the bed.

The wide hips make natural places to hold, really giving you the ability to pound into the Hannah without a second thought.

The angles of the tunnels seem thoughtfully aligned, and he says it feels even more comfortable than trying to line up positions with a human partner.

Tantaly Hannah Review: Let’s Talk Size

This sex doll’s got some serious hips. The doll’s hip width is larger than my own partner’s hip width when they are sitting together (as you can easily see in the photos).

To help keep the doll’s weight and maneuverability under control, though, the Tantaly Hannah has much narrower-than-real shoulders and a very short torso.

Most of the sex doll’s weight is in that ass and hips.

This gives you a lot of the sensation of flesh pressing up against your own body during use while still making the doll functional enough for moving around your house.

You could easily make an argument that this sex doll torso is “life-sized”, though I’d say the ratios are still slightly off. But this is probably a trade-off I enjoy. I get life-sized parts where I want them while “trading off” some of the areas where I don’t necessarily need realism. (Do I notice that the shoulders are lacking a good 8″ of width compared to a human when I’m using it? No. Do I notice the breasts are a modest handful? I certainly do.)

Tantaly Hannah Review: Sex Position Options

The Hannah sex doll has a firm interior “skeleton”. It, essentially, has a long, rigid, unmoving spine from neck to mid-hips. At the mid-hip point, the doll’s skeleton splits in two, with a long, rigid joint in each of the thighs. At the top of the thighs, joined at the spine, there’s a ball-and-socket joint, allowing each one of the thighs to move in a circular motion.

The Tantaly Hannah sex doll thighs can be spread outwards or staggered (with one leg positioned closer to the tummy and one leg positioned closer to the butt). They do not have the full spread of the ball-and-socket joint on a human, but you can get some pretty good positions out of it. It allows you to put the Hannah into a doggy style or staggered spooning position with ease. If you want more access between the thighs, you can also spread the thighs apart. (And if you’re going for humiliation play, you can squish the thighs together tightly enough to use them as something to thrust between.)

This skeleton makes it so much easier to move the sex doll around. That being said, the doll is still almost 50 pounds, and it is not light.

If you can easily pick up and put down 45 pounds of squishy jelly, you can use the sex doll for active sex positions. Realistically, with all of our Tantaly Hannah review testing, we’ve found that we really prefer sex positions where the doll stays put and the human does the moving.

Our favorite, and it should come as no surprise with a thick booty and thighs, has been doggy style. With the thighs propped underneath the doll, the Hannah has a very hot visual. As an added bonus, propping the doll up with the thighs really adds to the angle, too, making it very comfortable to slide inside.

Missionary is equally enjoyable. With stronger thrusts, the Tantabosom breasts really jiggle, making for a ridiculously good visual. Honestly, with the premature ejaculation training we’ve done, we’ve had to turn the doll over mid-use because the view of those jiggling breasts has made him a hair trigger. (Which I find erotic too!)

Being able to move the thighs gives you a lot of “from the side” sex position options as well. You can rest the sex doll on its side to slide in from a side angle. The doll is very jiggly and very heavy, though, so I’d recommend pillows propped up against the sides to prevent the doll from rolling over on you mid-use. Or you can build some biceps holding it at the same time. It’s up to you.

While moving the doll takes some conscious effort, once you have the sex doll in place, it tends to stay where you put it. The doll’s weight means that it doesn’t slide along the sheets. As long as you put any grip on the doll, it stays in place through jackhammering and strong thrusts.

The same can be said about the posable thighs. Getting those thighs to move with your own hands is extremely difficult. Once you have them moved, though, they don’t unbend easily. Even in doggy style, with his body weight pressing downwards into the doll, tempting the doll’s thighs to flatten out, the thigh bend doesn’t change.

(That’s probably my only complaint about the Tantaly Hannah. The thighs are extremely difficult to move around. This really pays off during use; the sex doll stays in the position you put it in. For moving the thighs around or storing the doll back in its case – which requires the legs back at the perfectly straight angle – it’s hard to do. I’m hoping the thigh joints loosen up just a bit as we continually move them around.)

Moving the Tantaly Hannah

With the thick thighs and squishy booty, the Hannah doll does run booty heavy. It is not an evenly-weighted doll. When you go to move it around, I recommend holding the butt closest to your body and ensuring it’s fully cradled. It’s the heaviest part, and if it gets unwieldy, it can accidentally tip the doll out of your hands.

It’s, essentially, almost 50 pounds of super jiggly, ass-heavy, squishy material to move around.

I’m not going to lie to you; it’s not “easy” to pick up. Once you get it in place, though, that weight means that it stays where you put it.

The internal skeleton helps a lot. I’ve owned large, heavy sex dolls without them, and they are noticeably harder to move around.

I find that I usually pick up the Tantaly Hannah at its waist. This natural, slimmest-point gripping point makes it much easier to move around.

Ideally, I carry the sex doll ass up. Keeping the ass’s weight balanced on the top of my hands (versus underneath them) keeps the doll from sliding as easily through my fingers. This is especially true when it’s wet.

With this in mind, though, I highly recommend trimming your nails down OR wearing gloves to move the sex doll. Despite only owning it for a few months through our Tantaly Hannah review period, I’ve already accidentally sliced a spot of the skin with my fingernails while moving it.

I’d also recommend putting on those gloves for adjusting the thigh spread. Those posable joints are extremely firm, and adjusting the thigh angle is a two-handed job that requires applying lots of pressure to the doll to hold it in place while trying to get the thigh joint to release. You may accidentally end up slicing fingernails into the doll while doing this.

You can get away with not using the gloves if you’re fucking it; with the sex doll already in place, you probably won’t be digging your fingers into it. When you’re moving it, though, the doll’s flesh tends to spill over your fingertips, causing the material to make contact with your fingernails even if you are trying not to.

Cleaning the Tantaly Hannah

The Tantaly Hannah is not any harder or easier to clean than any average full-sized sex doll.

That is, you’ll need to flush out the internal tunnels you used with warm water and a mild soap. This is much easier with an enema bulb or with a handheld showerhead. With the doll’s size and weight, you’re not likely getting it underneath a bathroom sink spigot, but if you have the flexibility and a kitchen handheld spigot, that can also work.

If you really enjoyed her Tantabosom breasts, you may also need to clean off her chest or other parts of her body. If there’s lube or cum on it, clean it off.

I highly, highly recommend taking the doll into the shower with a handheld showerhead if possible. During this Tantaly Hannah review, we took the doll to a hotel that only had a stand-up shower and a super-small sink ledge for cleaning, and it was definitely an adventure.

Clean-up is definitely one of the big downsides of a large sex doll like this, but the Hannah is not any harder or easier to clean than any other doll as long as you can get its large size resting on some sort of flat surface.

For anyone who has been around the sex toy industry a long, long time, you might remember a very similar product, the Doc Johnson iRide, that shares a very similar design. We actually loved the fuck out of it, so we had very high hopes before jumping into this VVD Rider Desire review.

To start, let’s talk about the basic function of the Rider Desire:

How Does the Rider Desire Work?

At its core, the VVD Rider Desire is a pretty simple sex toy. You place it wherever you want, you straddle it, and you sit down, sliding the dildo inside of yourself.

Once you’re on top of the Rider Desire, the toy’s rigid plastic, rounded design allows you to “rock” against it. The Rider Desire will rock with you, taking advantage of the shallow U-shape of the toy’s base.

This is fantastic if get off by “riding’ something. Especially with the clitoral ridge, you can straddle the Rider Desire and push yourself up against it, rocking with the toy’s natural motion.

Even better, the Rider Desire features three interchangeable “dildo” attachments that you can swap into the Rider Desire. Each one offers automated, built-in internal stimulation that doesn’t require you lift off, then sit back down, thrusting it into yourself. This means you can leave the attachment fully inserted, simply rocking on the Rider Desire while the dildo provides the pleasure for you.

Those three attachments are:

• Vibrating: Insertable length: 5″. It’s the widest and longest attachment with a diameter of 1.65″ at the tip. 7 vibrating patterns.
• Tapping: Insertable length: 4.75″, Widest diameter is at the tip: 1.5″. 13 tapping patterns.
• Thrusting: Shortest insertable at 4″ length. Shortest diameter at 1.35″ (near the tip). 6 thrusting patterns.

All three attachments, plus the remote and charging cable, come nicely packaged in this relatively sturdy cardboard box with foam cut-out. It makes for effortless storage of the accessories, and I’d really recommend treating it with care as it’s a great way to keep everything organized.

It’s worth noting that you must like penetration of at least 4″ in length and 1.35″ in diameter to enjoy the Rider Desire.

It’s surprising that they didn’t include smaller/shorter attachments for those who don’t like penetration that deep.

It’s also surprising that it doesn’t include some sort of hole cover for the dildo hole if you want to use it external-only. If you don’t have an attachment in the hole, the dildo’s hole will just sit open, exposing the metallic contact port inside, and I would really, really caution against allowing bodily fluids to make contact with that port. It could permanently destroy the toy’s interchangeable dildo system.

(As noted below, VVD confirms you can use the Rider Desire without a dildo on it, but you’ll need to cover the hole with tape.)

How Do I Swap the Attachments on the VVD Rider Desire?

Swapping the attachment is really easy. It is, by far, the easiest sex machine attachment swap out there. Other companies should definitely take note (for vaginal use).

Simply pull out the attachment with a bit of force, and it “pops” right out of the Rider Desire. It’s only held in place by a strong magnet, and your hand’s grip easily will take it out of the machine.

Once you have the current attachment out, you just pop in one of the other attachments. The magnet of the base of the attachment “snaps” the magnet inside the Rider Desire, and it holds the attachment firmly in the machine.

If you know you’ll be swapping attachments mid-play, keep a washcloth nearby. The washcloth can add some texture, making it easier to get a grip on an attachment that might be slick with bodily fluids and lube. As long as you can get a grip, though, it comes out with virtually no effort. I’ve spent more time trying to open an orange juice container than it takes to swap attachments on the Rider Desire.

I’ve never had an attachment come out of the Rider Desire mid-use. Throughout my VVD Rider Desire review period, though, I’ve always intentionally waited a few minutes for my muscles to relax before getting off the toy to swap out attachments. If you squeezed firmly and attempted to get off the attachment, I think you might be able to take it with you (inside of you).

Giving you options, the Rider Desire has three separate penetrating attachments. It does NOT have any “cover” for the attachment hole.

VVD confirms that the Rider Desire can be used without any attachments for external-only pleasure. However, the Rider Desire does not include a cover or cap for the dildo’s attachment hole. If you choose to use it for external-only pleasure, VVD says you’ll need to use waterproof tape to tape over the attachment hole. Any liquids that get into this (literal) opening may cause parts of the attachment port to malfunction. This means your thrusting/heating/tapping dildo may not come to life like it previously had.

There is currently no VVD-sold cover to go overtop of this hole. You’ll need to tape it up (and hope the tape doesn’t destroy the surface of your toy) if you want to use the Rider Desire externally. This seems like a pretty large oversight.

VVD Rider Desire Review: Anal Use

None of the attachments have a flared base, and all of the attachments are held in place by a magnet. While we’ve never had one of the attachments come out inside the person when the person gets off the Rider Desire, it is a potential risk.

That risk goes up if the muscles gripping the attachment are tight – like if you’re post-orgasm or using the Rider Desire anally.

With that in mind, we’ve only used the Rider Desire a few times anally and only with extreme caution.

If VVD releases an attachment that has a flared base down the line, I’d feel a lot more comfortable utilizing the Rider Desire for anal play. Otherwise, for safety, we really keep this one as a vaginal-only sex toy.

How is the VVD Rider Desire Powered?

Ensuring you don’t have to worry about power cables during use, the VVD Rider Desire is fully rechargeable. It has a USB-C charging cable opening on the front underside of the vibrator. A silicone cover over the opening helps keep fluids and dust out of the opening when you’re not using it.

This rechargeable design is an interesting choice. The Rider Desire a very large toy (compared to an average vibrator), and most toys of this size require power cords to feed the large motors that power them. Instead, the VVD Rider Desire is rechargeable (which does offer some nice benefits) with a use time of slightly over an hour and a charge time of 3 hours.

I know this came with a hit to the power (rechargeable toys just, literally, can’t be as strong as plug-in ones), but it’s something that sets it apart from other “have to find the outlet just to use it” machines.

The remote control is battery-powered. It uses a CR2032 battery. It comes with its first one upon receipt, but you’ll need to replace this cell battery down the line if you use the Rider Desire often.

The VVD Rider Desire Fits a Specific Body Type

As you can imagine when you have a toy that’s made from rigid plastic, the Rider Desire fits a specific body. Like all dual-pleasure sex toys, VVD had to build the insertable shaft and the clitoral area somewhere, and where they built them (in relation to one another) will depend on whether this works for you.

So, things to think about for the VVD Rider Desire fit:

• The insertable shaft and clitoral tapping are built-in. There is no way to adjust the two points closer to – or away from – one another. There is no way to adjust the distance between the two at all. If your clitoris is a lot closer (or further away), it’ll be difficult to take advantage of both pleasures at once.
• The clitoral tapping area is virtually flat. If you have larger or plushier outer labia, this may make it difficult to get direct clitoral contact while straddling the Rider Desire. I really struggle to be able to get the clitoral spot into the right spot for me, but a skinnier friend I had over to test for this VVD Rider Desire review didn’t have the same issue.
• The VVD Rider Desire is 17.3″ in height. If you have particularly tall thighs or particularly short thighs, this will make a difference in how comfortable the Rider Desire is. For me, I’m glad I have the flexibility to spread my thighs really far apart because that’s what helps get the clitoral area actually on my clit. If I couldn’t spread my knees far apart, the clitoral tapping area wouldn’t be able to reach my clit. (Protip, though: you could stuff towels underneath the Rider Desire, essentially putting it on a pedestal to reach wherever YOU are, height-wise).
• Use of the Rider Desire mostly requires kneeling. If your knees aren’t comfortable with weight on them, this is probably not a good toy for you. You can definitely put the Rider Desire on a chair and stand, straddling it that way, but it’s really hard to relax into the sensations while holding a squat for long periods of time. The toy was really designed for kneeling use. You may want folded blankets or knee pads to cushion your knees while using it.

You can definitely use some external modifiers to change how the Rider Desire fits with your body to an extent, but I think the Rider Desire will work best if:

• You’re able to spread your thighs wide in a kneeling position.
• Your clitoris is easily accessible and “close” to the surface of your body.
• You enjoy tapping sensations on your clitoris.

VVD Rider Desire Review: How Well Do the Dildos Work?

Everyone I’ve let try this during my VVD Rider Desire review period (and it’s been quite a few people as I took it with me to a BDSM conference) really likes the insertable attachments. The power of the movement on these attachments is solid. You can feel the in-and-out thrusting on the thrusting attachment, and you can feel the tapping tip from the tapping one. (And obviously, the vibrating one feels like vibrating)

The tapping attachment is probably my favorite. If I finangle myself into a super awkward angle while straddling the Rider Desire, I’m able to get that tapping tip to hit my g-spot almost perfectly. It feels amazing. Seriously, top tier. The number of sex toys I own that can hit my g-spot hands-free, over and over, I can count on one hand, and now the Rider Desire is one of them. I wish I could orgasm from g-spot stimulation alone because the Rider Desire would most-definitely get me there. It’s a luxurious, hands-free treat, and it’s probably my favorite way to use it.

The in-and-out thrusting dildo provides a good internal sensation, but it’s important to note that it’s not a full thrust. Most of the nerves receptive to thrusting tend to be at your entrance; the in-and-out thrusting dildo only thrusts at the tip. This can make for some good g-spot pressure, hitting it over and over, if you can get it in the right spot. Just don’t expect it to feel like a partner constantly thrusting in and out; like my surprised disappointment with the Vulse, it’s not the same nerve endings being stimulated.

The vibrating attachment, well, vibrates. It’s completely rigid with zero actual “movement”. It’s just a solid silicone attachment that has vibrations. It’s also the most curved attachment, so you can really snuggle it up into your pleasure spots for firm, constant pressure.

How Well Does the Clitoral Tapping Work?

It’s just so flat. There’s virtually no protrusion from the completely-flat surface of the Rider Desire. I have plushier labia and a fat body. Clitoral tapping is a light sensation that requires having as much surface area on the “tapping” area as possible. If you don’t get a lot of contact from that area, the toy can’t “tap” it.

This is where I run into issues. If I prop up the front of the Rider Desire to ensure it doesn’t keep rocking forward as I try to push into the front, I can eventually get my clitoris to make full contact with the clitoral tapping pad.

When I do, the clitoral tapping feels good. It isn’t easily orgasmic, but it would likely be enough to get me to orgasm if I could simultaneously enjoy that tapping dildo attachment on my g-spot. On its own, as a sole sensation, the clitoral tapping is nice, but I’ve never been able to orgasm from it.

Trying to use the clitoral tapping area on my clit while simultaneously enjoying one of the dildos is where things go wrong. This is a super awkward angle, and the dildos end up nowhere near the right spot or at such an unpleasant angle that it’s uncomfortable instead of pleasurable. I simply have to lean way too far forward to get clitoral contact with this flat surface to have my vaginal entrance lined up in the right place any longer.

Despite multiple attempts for this VVD Rider Desire review, I haven’t been able to figure out how to enjoy both the clitoral pleasure and the internal dildos at the same time. So when I use the Rider Desire, I’ve had to “pick a side” – and that’s rough for a toy at this price range.

I don’t think you’d necessarily encounter these same issues if you had a clitoris that wasn’t “deeply hidden” in between your labia. It’s very clear that the Rider Desire was crafted for someone to simply straddle the attached dildo, sitting upright, and have full contact with both the clitoral area and the dildo.

When I try that, though, likely due to my larger body, I’m still at least an inch away from having contact with the clitoral tapping zone. (I didn’t pull out a ruler.) The dildo is fully inside of me, but the clitoral area isn’t touching the right spot while I’m upright. Trying to lean forward to get that contact makes the dildo inside of me go at an awkward angle, and it ends up feeling…not great.

The same caution should be made for anyone who doesn’t necessarily want a full 4″ of dildo penetration (the shortest attachment). If the dildo isn’t fully inserted, you won’t be able to make clitoral contact with the clitoral pleasuring spot. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if there were an easy external-only option, but with the attachment system how it is, it means you must want at least 4″ of penetration if you want to use the Rider Desire as it was created.

All that being said, the movements from the internal dildos work surprisingly well, and I’ve never had them lock up on me. They’re small movements, but they add a nice sensation. They aren’t full thrusting sex machines…but they are good, and I really enjoy the internal stimulation.

The clitoral tapping spot is a good addition to the internal dildos, but it isn’t particularly powerful on its own. I’d say it’s on par with a gentle vibrator. It wasn’t enough for me to orgasm on its own, but I think it’d be a good add-on to the insertable dildos.

Rocking on the It

Created for “riding”, the Rider Desire is, essentially, a sturdy plastic shape with silicone covering it. That means it really holds this light U-shape; you can see it in the above photo where it’s just casually holding itself off the ground.

The underside of the toy has two strips of anti-slip taping. This helps a bit with preventing slip, but it isn’t rubber or really heavily textured. It only provides a light anti-slip.

The Rider Desire’s rocking works best if you’re fully upright and rocking your hips back and forth. This upright position puts all of your weight stacked on top of it, and it really anchors the toy to the ground underneath you. We haven’t found any slipping when we use it that way.

However, if you lean forward in a doggy style position (like I talked out above, while trying to get clitoral contact), and try to grind into it, each forward grinding motion will slide the Rider Desire along the floor. We’ve had it happen on hard wood floor and the carpet with ease. It stays put a bit better on the bed, and when we were doing VVD Rider Desire review trials, I ended up stuffing a pillow in front of it to stop it from sliding. That did the trick.

If part of the appeal is rocking and grinding into it, think about how you like to grind.

VVD Rider Desire Review: It’s Remote Controlled???

Yes, it is!

This is actually really helpful when you’re grinding on top of the Rider Desire. Interrupting your movements to reach underneath the toy is somewhat jarring, but the remote makes setting changes a lot easier.

So you have three unique functions controlled by the VVD Rider Desire remote. They are:

• Clit Tapping Control: Scroll through the clitoris mound’s 13 different patterns.
• Power Button: Turn the entire toy on or off.
• Dildo Control: Control the functionality of the dildo attachment you currently have in (for the respective dildos: 6 thrusting patterns, 13 tapping patterns, 7 vibrating patterns). Double press this dildo control button to also control the heating functionality of the dildo.

The remote control functionality is impressive and reliable. It probably helps that the toy is large, allowing for a larger receiving unit on the toy.

Throughout our VVD Rider Desire review period, we’ve done a lot of edging play with this. It’s that reliable. A simple button press on the remote control turns off all of the sensations, making it easy to keep him on the edge without letting him tip over.

I’ve actually never had it miss a command.

As long as the remote is pointing at the Rider Desire with a clear line-of-sight, it seems to control it without issue. It’s equally reliable whether controlling the clitoral or penetrating shaft.

Zero complaints, and it makes it way more fun to use on a partner.

If you’re not into remote control for any reason, that’s cool too. The front tip of the Rider Desire has 3 buttons on its underside. In a relatively helpful design, these buttons match the same functionality of the remote control buttons, letting you swap between control methods without confusion. (I actually love this).

Unless you’re leaned really, really far forward, it’s not too far of a stretch to reach the control buttons underneath the Rider Desire toy itself. They have a nice satisfying click and work well.

VVD Rider Desire vs Motorbunny

I own both the Rider Desire and the Motorbunny, so I’m in a unique place to compare the two.

Realistically, despite the similar design, I’d say they’re both so different that it’s hard to compare. Whether you’ll prefer the Rider Desire or the Motorbunny is really going to come down to what you need, what you can afford, and where you live. It isn’t like the Rider Desire is just a “downgraded” version of a full-sized sex machine like the Motorbunny. It’s just different.

I’d say you should get the Rider Desire if…

• You live with others or in an apartment. The Motorbunny is power tool loud. It’s “if you use it in an apartment, your downstairs neighbor asks you to stop drilling” loud (yes, this happened). I can rarely use my Motorbunny at home because it’s too loud. The Rider Desire doesn’t have that issue. It’s MUCH more friendly to most living situations.
• You like to swap attachments often. The magnetic, easy-swap system of the Rider Desire is leagues faster than the Motorbunny’s system. It has some HUGE concerns about anal safety (as noted above), but if you’re someone who wants to temporarily pop off and slide in a new attachment, the Rider Desire is the clear winner here.
• You’re on a limited budget. It’s a factor, for sure, but I’d say it isn’t the primary one. But if you’re on a limited budget, the Rider Desire is 1/6th the price of a Motorbunny.
• You hate dealing with power cords. The Rider Desire is rechargeable. You don’t have to worry about wall outlets when you want to play with it.
• You want to travel with it. If you’re a kinky person who wants to take their saddle toy with them to play parties or play dates, it’s much, much easier to travel with the Rider Desire. It’s much lighter, with fewer cords and must-have accessories that are easier to lose.
• Your straddling capability isn’t as wide. The Motorbunny is much, much wider than the Rider Desire. If it’s difficult for you to spread your knees or straddle, you might prefer the Rider Desire.

On the other hand, get the Motorbunny if…

• You need a lot of power. The Rider Desire is pleasurable, but it’s not even in the same conference hall as the Motorbunny. The Rider Desire offers, maybe, 15% of the full power you can get from the Motorbunny. That’s to be expected. A cheaper, smaller-motor rechargeable toy simply isn’t going to compare to a plug-in powerhouse. (However, as noted above, that Motorbunny power comes with a LOT more noise.)
• You want to use this anally. As noted above, I have large safety concerns about the VVD Rider Desire and the anal use of the attachments. The Motorbunny’s attachments are physically secured and include a gigantic base. They aren’t getting lost in the butt.
• You’re a thicker boi/girl. The VVD Rider Desire has a weight limit of 275 pounds. The Motorbunny’s weight limit (confirmed by the company) is either 400 pounds (direct pressure on the attachment mount) or 600 pounds (direct pressure on the semi-circular surface itself).
• You regularly want external-only pleasure. While VVD confirms the toy can be used without any penetrating attachment, if you use it that way, it leaves the attachment hole open. Any errant body fluids that get into this literal opening can destroy the toy’s functionality. The Motorbunny has multiple external-only attachments that circumvent this problem.
• You want a huge selection of attachments. The Rider Desire comes with three different internal dildos, but they look pretty similar. The company, VVD, hasn’t put out any add-on purchasable attachments yet. The Motorbunny offers a variety of attachments, including fantasy options and super-thick options, to cater to most appetites.
• Your clitoris is harder to access from the surface (like if you have plushier labia or body fat in the area). The Rider Desire doesn’t offer much protrusion to get the sensations in-between inches of squish. The Motorbunny has a whole host of attachments that offer inches of material to get the vibrations where they need to be.
• You want app control functionality. If you get the correct accessories, the Motorbunny can be controlled via app, opening up different ways to play, if that’s important to you.
• You’re considering this an “investment”. As far as I can tell, the VVD Rider Desire doesn’t have a warranty at all. The Motorbunny has an 11 year warranty. Neither are waterproof (though the Rider Desire is splashproof). I worry more about the Rider Desire’s quick-change opening (with no flared base protection) getting bodily fluids in it more than I worry about the Motorbunny, though.

You’ve decided that you want to enjoy some anal play beyond your current level. There’s only one big problem: you have no idea how to choose the best toys for anal stretching. With thousands of anal toys out there, what ones should you be looking at if your end goal is stretching out the anal entrance?

But that’s what I’m here for! There is no “one size fits all” to this process, but there are features and designs we want to look for when picking up anal toys specifically for the best toys for anal stretching. It doesn’t matter if you work in the field of carpentry or Orlando escorts, we all have a butt with sphincter muscles, and we all need to stretch them if we want to play past their current capacity.

I want to be clear: “anal stretching” isn’t just something you do when you want to fit the largest fantasy dildo you’ve ever seen. Anal stretching can be used for any type of play where you’re trying to gently relax the anal muscles to comfortably accept something larger than it currently does.

This means that prepping for anal sex with a biological penis also counts as anal stretching, and it follows many of the same principles as-if you were stretching for that fantasy dildo!

Why Is Anal Stretching Important?

Okay, this is going to be a bit of dry medical knowledge, but just stay with me for a few minutes. We’ll get to the good stuff, but understanding why we don’t just shove an eggplant up there and call it a day is important to know.

When you put something up the butt, you have to go through two separate sphincters. If you’re unaware, a “sphincter” (your body has a couple!) is essentially just a tight ring of muscle.

As you could guess by the phrase “tight ring of muscle”, this ring tends to be relatively tight and relatively closed up. They’re like gatekeepers. If these sphincters weren’t closed up, everything they were controlling would flow freely through those gates. (You have sphincters all over your body, but we’re talking about butt stuff today.)

As the diagram foreshadows, we have two spinchters also at your anal entrance.

It’s important to understand that these rings of muscle are just that: rings of muscle. They operate similarly to other muscle on your body.

If you were under a mind control spell, and I told you to drop into the splits right this second, you’d likely tear multiple leg muscles. Those muscles are too tight and unstretched to safely achieve the splits.

If you’d been doing daily splits stretching practice, however, you might safely achieve those splits (and then flip me off for doubting you).

That’s the exact premise behind your sphincters too. They’re just literally muscles – like any other in your body. If you, gradually and often, stretch them out, they become accustomed to stretching out to this large, stretched-out size, and you don’t tear muscles or skin when you push them to that level.

This doesn’t give you a “loose” asshole any more than doing splits training lengthens your legs or makes your legs turn into spaghetti noodles. It’s a muscle; when done safely, it simply allows your anal entrance to stretch to wider sizes without breaking. (If you break or rip your anal entrance, though, that CAN give you a loose asshole.)

The final point in this anatomy lesson:

The sphincters are located at the entrance. Once you’re past those sphincters, you’re chilling in the pretty-stretchy rectum area. This area has nerves for pressure, but there’s nothing, necessarily, in the rectum that we really need to “train” for wider anal stretching. (There’s some argument to be made for depth-training or S-curve training, but if you’re on this article, you’re not-even-sorta worried about trying to take a 12″ dildo.)

So all of this fanfare is happening entirely to help train the anal entrance to gently accept wider dildos.

Now you know what we’re up against though. When we’re trying to pick the best toys for anal stretching, we’re specifically trying to train the body’s anal entrance to gradually open up.

First, Some Toy Design Terms

If we’re going to talk about how to find a great anal stretching toy, we first need to talk about what to look for in the best toys for anal stretching. To do that, being on the same page about what we’re calling the parts of the toy will be really helpful.

Let’s talk sex toy terms.

Insertable Length: This is the part of the sex toy that makes up the bulk of the part that goes inside of your body.

Retention Area: This is the part of the toy design that rests right at the anal entrance. In dildos, this might be virtually indistinguishable from the rest of the toy. That’s because dildos aren’t really designed to just “sit” in the butt. In butt plugs, this area, smaller in diameter, is what helps the plug stay in the butt.

Base: To make something anal safe, a portion of the item needs to remain outside of the body. Because the butt doesn’t have an easily accessible “end” like the vaginal canal does, we need to make sure there’s an easy way to grip a sex toy and remove it after inserting it into the butt. We call this part of the sex toy the “base”.

How to Find a Great Anal Stretching Toy: Get a Tapered Tip

If you’re going to be inserting something that’s near the edge of your body’s limits, you need a way to gently, and gradually, insert that toy.

This is where tapered tips come in. It’s easiest to explain a tapered tip sex toy with another image:

See how the sex toy on the left starts really, really small and gently gets larger the further you insert it? The other sex toy just starts huge and stays at that size.

Getting a tapered tip can be really helpful for anal stretching sex toys and your wallet. A tapered tip gives you multiple sizes to insert in a single toy.

For example, if your dildo caps out at 1.75″ in diameter – BUT your tapered tip starts at 1″, gently grows to 1.25″ and then 1.5″. This means that you, essentially, can partially insert your dildo to stretch anywhere from 1″ to 1.75″ with a single toy.

So if you’re only at a point where 1.4″ of width is comfortable, you can slowly insert through 1″ up to 1.25″ – then pause as you approach the 1.5″ diameter point. Even better, for future anal stretching sessions when your body has relaxed enough to take larger sizes, you can still use this same sex toy to stretch out to 1.75″ in diameter.

If You’re Using a Butt Plug: Get a Thick Retention Area

Butt plugs are pretty cool. You simply slide them into the butt, they “pop” in there, and then they hang out while your hands are free to do other things.

This is partially why butt plugs are such a popular anal warm-up option: you can slide an anal plug into the butt and enjoy other foreplay or masturbation activities while your anal muscles slowly relax to the large intrusion.

However, this may not be as effective as using an anal dildo or other type of anal toy. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use butt plugs, but it does mean that you should have a bit of knowledge when choosing what to use for anal warm-ups.

Essentially, the process of anal stretching is focused on stretching and gently relaxing the sphincters of the butt. These sphincters are located at the entrance. (Remember our anatomy lesson?)

When you slide in a butt plug, the thickest area stretches these entrance muscles, but once the butt plug is fully inside the body, the sphincters generally are at rest against the retention area of the plug.

Just look at this image below: the toy on the left has a really thick retention area. The toy on the right has a really thin retention area. If you were using the toy on the right as one of your best toys for anal stretching, once the toy was fully in the body, you’d only be “stretching” the muscles that tiny little stem portion.

That means that your 30 minute long anal stretching session had 3-ish minutes of active stretching for those muscles. The other 27 minutes, those sphincter muscles were relaxed and chillaxing on one of the thinnest parts of your butt plug.

This is why butt plugs may not warm up the anal area as well as you’d like. Though something was in the butt that whole (teehee) time, it wasn’t actively stretching out the muscles to your desired thickness. The thickest part of the plug was well-past those muscles while those muscles gently rested on one of the thinnest part of the plug.

That brings me to my point: if you’re using a butt plug for anal stretching, you have to pay attention to the size of the retention area. If the retention area is ultra-slim, that’s what you’re going to be “actively stretching” while you wear it.

That isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker. But if you’re primarily using butt plugs as a hands-free option to “warm up” the muscles, keep this in mind. The majority of your time using a butt plug may not be doing much stretching. The inside of the body (the rectum) already does pretty well with width. We’re trying to stretch out that entrance.

(Sidenote: That’s not to say using a butt plug with a small retention area isn’t helpful. Things in the bum help bring blood flow to the area. Best Toys for Anal Stretching: Consider a Dildo for Activities Near Your Limit

So, we just went over why most butt plugs may not be a great fit as the best toys for anal stretching.

If you know that you’re going to be playing near the limit of what your butt can take, I really recommend warming up with a dildo. That butt plug can be the warm-up to your warm-up, but the thicker size of most dildos will provide a safer, more comprehensive warm-up.

Risks of Anal Stretching and Anal Play

Just to make sure we’re all clear here, the risk of suddenly inserting something that’s too large for you includes:

• Pain. Anal play isn’t painful by default. It can have a bit of pressure, but any pain (for most! Pre-existing health conditions can change how the body interprets sensations!) is a sign that you’re doing damage. If you’re getting lots of pain, the toy is too large, or you don’t have enough lube.
• Anal Fissures. This is a nice, doctor-friendly way to say “you tore your butthole”. Yeah, when you say it like that, that’s not so nice-sounding.
• Anal Bleeding: As part of your skin, your butt hole also has blood inside of it. Only, well, if you tear it, now it’s coming outside of you.

• Anal Fistulas: About 30% of people (in this study) who got an anal infection got something called an anal fistula. This is when the tear in the entrance is so deep that it allows infection to spread to the surrounding, non-entrance skin. It likely requires surgery to fix.
• A Long Healing Time: So, uh, the anal entrance stretches out to allow you to poop. Turns out stretching open skin tears causes them to retear. Anal fissures have longer-than-average heal times because bowel movements can tear them right back open.

I want to be clear: while these are all risky things that should be taken seriously, in most cases, they are things that can be helped by a doctor’s visit. They are my recommendations that have worked well for my anal stretching partners over the years. As we’ve noted, anal stretching is a very personal experience, and what’s great for me may not be perfect for you.

My Absolute Favorite: Square Peg Toys Egg Plugs

I don’t even have an affiliate relationship with Square Peg Toys, but my god, their Egg Plugs are always my first recommendation for the best toys for anal stretching. I’ve already turned a couple of my friends onto them.

They’re great for a few reasons:

• They’re uniform in design. You can, quite literally, move or down sizes and have the exact same, controlled experience but in a different size.
• They’re the perfect mix of soft and firm silicone. Each one of these Egg Plugs feels like a hulk of squishy silicone. Because it’s such a dense silicone, it doesn’t collapse at your entrance when pressure is applied, but it also remains squishy enough that it doesn’t feel like sliding plastic into yourself.
• They have wide retention areas. We’ve never taken the Square Peg Egg Plugs in public because they’re just monsters (we only have the XL and up), but this is enough of a retention area to keep the plug inside of the body, hands-free, while lying down. Plus, the retention area is still extremely thick, continuing the stretching as the plug stays inside.
• They have a slightly tapered tip. The tapered tip could be more noticeable, but it’s slightly there, giving you a gentler first push-in compared to some other plugs. The extra-soft silicone helps too.

On a Budget: Mr. Hankey’s Cone

If you’re trying to stretch to a particular diameter, you generally will pick up multiple toys, in incremental sizes, that’ll help you make it to that diameter. Buying multiple sex toys, as you can imagine, can get pricey.

If you’re trying to keep things as cheap as possible, though, you can pick up a single toy that will function as the diameter of multiple toys. That single toy is a cone. This cone-shaped toy will allow you to incrementally stretch to wider diameters. If you get the right cone for your needs, it will start at the diameter where you’re currently at and ever-so-slowly get wide enough to stretch to your “desired” diameter.

I’m featuring the Mr. Hankey’s Toys Traffic Cone sex toy above – purely because it’s made from body-safe silicone and is available in different sizes to get the size you need. They also, thank god, make it in non traffic cone colors if you want something normal looking.

If you’re looking for something at a lower price point and find that their sizes happen to be what you need, Tantus also makes the Cone Small and Cone Large. Since theirs are mass-produced (versus the made-to-order design of Mr. Hankey’s Toys), they’re lower in price.

Both are solid companies, though, and I own multiple toys from both.

One big caveat: Because of the ever-increasing size of a Cone sex toy, it’s easier to accidentally push past your comfortable, safe limits. Make sure you’re always clear-headed and risk-aware when using a cone sex toy. Especially if squatting over it, eagerness and gravity can make it easy to “push past” where you should reasonably be stretching.

Hands-Free Stretching: Tantus Severin

Remember when we talked about how the retention area of your plug is the most-important spot to consider? That’s true, but if you don’t want to spend the entire time you play with your toy holding it into your body, you still need a retention area that’s smaller than the plug’s insertable length.

The Tantus Severin helps bridge some of that gap. It has an extra-wide retention area that’s going to help stretch out your sphincters, but the insertable length is still wider than the retention area. This helps keep the plug inside of the body on its own.

The Severin’s multiple waved/ridged increases in diameter help make it easier to insert with natural “rest points” for your muscles as you slide it in.

Tantus also makes the design in a Soft silicone density. These will be easier to insert, but will not provide as much rigidity/resistance against the sphincter muscles. Their softness can make them much more pleasurable-feeling when they’re inside though.

Prostate-Focused Stretching: Nexus REVO Extreme

The Nexus REVO Extreme isn’t actively a “stretching” toy, but due to its large diameter, it works to stretch out the sphincters while simultaneously pleasuring the fuck out of the prostate. It’s a win-win! With a diameter of 2.13″, it’s a big toy, though, with virtually no taper, so make sure you’re comfortable with a toy of that diameter before picking it up.

Really Flush Out Your BDSM Training Plan Goal

You’re going to struggle with crafting a full plan if you don’t actually know what you’re trying to achieve.

And this one can be more insidious than you’d think.

Let’s say you want to train a submissive to give a good blowjob. But…what does a good blowjob entail for you? If you’re a huge fan of deep throating, it might entail working on their gag reflex. Maybe what makes a “good blowjob” for you is actually the erotic visuals. Maybe you actually think a blowjob is hottest when they take the initiative instead of asking for one.

The training plan for the different facets of that would look different.

For example, if you wanted to improve their gag reflex, you’d likely spend time requiring them to go down on dildos, slowly making progress on decreasing their sensitivity over time.

If you wanted better initiation and visuals, though, your BDSM training plan might include scheduled blowjob days where your submissive is expected to dress hot and initiate a blowjob. Brainstorm the Smaller Steps that Make Up the Bigger Goal

Now that you have an end goal, you’ll want to do exactly what I just did: figure out what smaller steps would improve the submissive’s performance at this larger “goal”.

Let’s say I want my submissive to walk in heels. Since we’re working on making our goal very specific, I specifically want my submissive to walk in stripper sandal heels I bought him at play parties.

With that discrete goal, I know that training him in tiny kitten heels wouldn’t achieve my fantasies. Since I know I want him to wear these at play parties, I also need to get him comfortable with changing flooring types, low lighting, and lots of obstacles and potential things on the ground. • Be able to walk our entire house, from bathroom tile to hardwood floor to living room carpet, in the heels for at least 30 minutes.
• Be able to comfortably step over obstacles on the floor – including in low lighting.
• Be able to walk the aforementioned house while carrying a heavy bag of gear on one side of his body.
• Be able to stand, stationary, in the heels for at least an hour (as we often stand still while talking to friends we know at parties or hotel takeovers).
• (Bonus) Be able to perform these skills with grace and fluidity, looking comfortable in the pair of heels that he’s wearing.

Schedule Out Realistic Deadlines

If you’re anything like me, you’re busy. You probably have a day job, a daily shower, and have to keep your house looking somewhat respectable. And that’s before you even include any kids or other dependents.

Even though this kinky training is supposed to be “fun”, it can be easy to overdo it and overschedule yourselves. Especially when you’re turned on, the idea of having to do your training, every day at 5PM, can sound deliciously demanding.

Reality is rarely as kind to our fantasies, though, and I want you to plan that way from the get-go. Realistically, as soon as you start missing 4 or 5 days of that 5PM training, you’re going to find that the entire training session stops being a priority, and you just don’t worry about it going forward. After you’ve had that happen with 3 or 4 training plan attempts, you might even just write off kinky training entirely out of frustration. And that’s no fun.

Instead, try to plan for a schedule that works well with you (and your submissive’s) lifestyles.

Some tips for trying to fit BDSM training plans into a busy schedule without making it stressful:

• Allow for a flexible period of time when you expect the training to be done. For example, expect a training session once a week or once a month instead of “4PM on Tuesday”. This gives everybody more flexibility in making it happen.
• Attach the training onto another activity that only happens when the submissive has extra time. For example, if the submissive only sits at a coffeeshop for coffee when they have a night off, you might also say they need to wear their plug to the coffeeshop to work on their anal training goals.
• Specifically “give up” something optional that’s in your schedule to make time or energy for the training. Gym nights might be every Monday, but you might give up some time at the gym once a month to have more time and energy to make some kinky fun happen.
• Make something in your busy schedule more efficient. If you usually go out to dinner for date nights, have someone grab take-out on the way home, saving you an hour’s worth of time that you can devote to kinky training instead. • Devote specific weekends to the training. It can be hard to make time during the work week. As the submissive does the training, the dominant provides positive feedback and encouragement, making it enjoyable to undertake what is (essentially) extra work.

Make sure you’re rewarding your submissive as they make positive strides in their training. The “exact” reward will vary based on your own dynamics and what everyone finds important.

For example:

• Keep a calendar, and color-in any weeks/months/time periods where the training was completed.
• Provide verbal feedback, giving compliments about improved skills as the submissive works on them.
• Attach the training to another enjoyable thing the submissive does – like only allowing them a few scoops of ice cream on the days where they’ve completed their training.

You’re looking for the holy grail of strap-on sex: today, you want to learn how to cum from pegging p-spot play.

If you’re like most people who happen upon this article, you’re probably specifically looking for hands-free prostate orgasms. Luckily, whether you’re with a lover or with a professional eros escorts, the process is the same.

I will caution you, though: hands-free orgasms (for anyone, of any gender!) are difficult.
