NOTHING IMPROVES YOUR MOOD LIKE A NEW MANICURE

2018-09-17T05:50:00.000-07:00

Yup, That's true ..."nothing improves your mood like a new manicure" - (quote by sonailicious.com)

Last Sunday we had a girls pamper day and went to our favorite nail and beauty bar; Vita Luxe at Seminyak Village

First, the place is beautiful and cozy with a modern Parisian design concept. It has massage pedicure chairs. So imagine..we really feel like a first class guest...Chic!

Second, the service is good...The nail technicians are professional and polite ( very important !), dressed in a neat and beautiful uniform that goes with the whole concept of the place..."Parisian"

Third, to be in that luxurious place and having such a wonderful treatment, the price is very reasonable ( super important..!) How come it won't improve our mood !

So...next time you come to Bali, I recommend you guys to go to this place...pamper yourself and improve your mood.

STYLE HUNT - Seminyak Square Bali

2018-09-05T23:48:00.000-07:00

Hopefully you find something that you like.

DIY: decorating your mug using Sharpie

2016-03-27T09:14:00.002-07:00

Today my two daughters and I really had fun decorating our mug using sharpie

Many of you might have heard or done this before, while for us this is the first time that we finally could make time to do it.

Now each of us have our own special mug and we were proud of it. At the end it's not about making a good drawing or not, but the effort and how we express ourselves and most of all it's about having fun.

For some more ideas of DIY with sharpie, you can go to BRIT+ CO

Have fun....

STAMP PAINTING TECHNIQUE

2015-09-29T19:56:00.003-07:00

I wanted to try this stamp technique since long time ago. So far could not find the right time until yesterday, when I received this vintage look wooden candle holder.

Using a rubber stamp that actually for the use of decorating scrap book and an acrylic paint I started decorating it. As highlight, using cutting paper to create different pattern and a sponge I paint it on top using lighter color.

For the farm house look...shabby...or vintage, this is perfect. Love it !

Playing with Patterns

2015-09-07T12:08:00.002-07:00

It had been a hectic moments lately. Moving the house seemed endless... opening the boxes, organizing the stuff, shopping for whatever needs, etc..etc...It just blocked my mind; no ideas, no creativity to do productions for my shop Tan Living

Thank's God summer holiday came and off we go to disconnect from whatever we had been doing. Once we were back home, I felt like a new person; full of ideas and spirit.

I wanted to express what I saw and felt during those holiday into product that tells stories. So I started to make some drafts discuss it with my two good friends RIA LEIMENA and JOSECHU, and with their help, I am now having a new "baby"- a line of limited home accessories products that will be launched soon.We are now counting the days of introducing our first series; a collection that talk about nature;

MIDNIGHT MOON TREE, MIDNIGHT MOON and FOREST...

Go Nautical

2014-06-16T01:48:00.000-07:00

Living in the big city like Jakarta is very stressful. Traffic was the main problem....hours and hours sitting in the car looking forward to reach home.

For me this became a reason why the place we live should be cozy, relax and refreshing.

Decorating your home with the charm of the sea, using white - light blue color would be one of a great way to give a refreshing touch to your home.

2014-02-13T07:23:00.001-08:00

One of the thing that I enjoyed to see in Bali is the shops. Each of them has their on personality.... It's like a competition of ideas, concepts, designs and creativity...SO INSPIRING.
TRIETTE STORE at Jl.Batu belig no 88 is one of them. Not because it's fancy but because it's a cozy shop that offer gorgeous stuff such as children's apparel from Coco and Ginger, Em & Lu, jewellery from Triette Treasure , basketry from Tan Living and many more. It's definitely one of my favorite shop here.

COLORS FOR 2014

2014-01-16T10:54:00.000-08:00

Approaching 2014, I started to look for trend colors 2014 for interior and my eyes sat on a designer mood/ concept board by Rosslyn Tebbut called COLLAGE.

It's exactly the look I want to start the year..."elegant, glamorous and cheerful", showing the spirit and positiveness I have towards the year.
Inspired by it, I made my own mood/concept board for our new collections that we'll be launched next month.

5 Scents to an unforgettable Christmas

2013-11-25T07:24:00.000-08:00

I enjoyed so much doing these collections since my 2 daughters Alia, (11 years old) and Sara (8 years old) were involved in the process. Together we chose the scents and I let them drew the packaging of the two collections they loved.

Sara picked Blueberry and named it "Blueberry Candy". She drew her self-portrait for its packaging...

.It is a cute Christmas gift set of room difusser, scented candle with an Angel Christmas ornament "For Her" or those who are young at heart.

Alia chose Lemongrass and drew... a robot!! for her packaging, as this was meant "For Him" or those who are sportive and energetic. Coming in the same set as Sara's, she name her collection "Juicy Lemongrass"

The other three...Noel , Cool Mint, and Eclipse comes more serious and elegant.

Noel is a combination of Cedarwood, Clove, and Sandalwood...a typical smell you remember of Christmas.

Cool Mint gives a fresh aroma...coming from a combination of Lavender, Rosemary, and peppermint.

While Eclipse gives a soft and elegant scent to the room....a mixture of Ylangylang, Rose, and Sandalwood

These exclusive collections only available at kadokadi, an online shop that offers Indonesian gift products.
