Dinner, Pub and New Computer

Heeey guys! ^___^

I've been a little bad at posting lately and it's mainly because I got a new computer! I got a Macbook and I'm still learning how to use it, hahah XD I've never owned a Mac before so it feels very strange!

So far I'm very pleased with it!

I'm 1 week behind with blogging, so these photos are from last weekend. I made a new tag to use on my photos because all my PS brushes are still on my old computer.

So last weekend me and Hyo Chan met my brother and his girlfriend Agnes. We went to a Thai BBQ restaurant and later on we went to the pub.

This is what I wore that day:

Snowy Weekend

Hiyaa!

Yupp, another post today! I'm so happy when I have time to blog ^__^

So last weekend I went to the pub with Hyo Chan and our friends. This is what I wore:

Dress: OneTeaspoon / Cardigan: Cheap Monday / Accesories: Vintage etc.

I really love the combination of long cardigan and short dress or shorts! I wore my grey lenses and I'm sure about how they look on my anymore, but I wanted to try wearing them again :)

So, finally it's actually cold and snowy weather here in Sweden. This winter has been strange!

The weekend before this one I hung out with Malin. We haven't had time to hang out like this for a long long time! We went shopping, eating and later on we went to the club and had a GREAT time!

Haul - Presents from Japan

Hey everyone! ^___^

Today I'll post some things that my friend Malin got me when she visited Japan recently.

I love cotton face masks so I asked her to buy be some♥

3 masks from Pure Smile and one eye mask from Bioré. I think it's possible to find them on Ebay or Yesstyle.com.

She also got my absolute favorite drink ever!

She also gave me a big mirror. These are soo convenient, because you can make them stand up. Haha, the name is funny... Lame Mirror XD lol

She also got me this. It's a brush you use when cleansing your face. I'm gonna try it as see how it works out :) It's always fun to try these kind of beauty tools in Japan because they have soo many! Sometimes really weird things, once I saw a tool to make you nose longer... haha, I would never use that! My nose is already long! >_<

Nails and nail deco! I really need to start doing my nails again. When did I become this boring?

Lastly I got this! It's a high-lighter that you can use on your brow bones, nose bridge, cheeks etc. I love high-lighting my face! So I'll be using this a lot!

It's a cream white or champagne shade which I really love!

It matches my yellow tan skin. I almost never use pure white shades because it looks grey and weird on me.

That day Malin gave me my presents we met and hung out in town and I found these pieces on sale!

I found the on Bik Bok for only 99kr each, which is about 10 Euro. So cheap!

The knit is perfect for everyday use, it's very cosy! The shorts will be perfect as soon as it's warmer weather, maybe in spring or summer. I'll probably wear it with a black tank top or something and lot's of necklace. Can't wait!

Hi everyone!

Recently I've been working a lot and it actually feels GREAT!

Going through my recent party photos I realized that... I've been wearing the same dress every time! O_o Hahahaha, I think I'm too in love with this dress!

It's simple but has some really cool details and cuts which makes it sooo cute! AND it's comfortable! I f**kig love this dress! *__* The dress is by One Teaspoon.

Last Friday we celebrated Hyo Chan's birthday!

And this is what I gave him as a birthday present:

A cool long T-shirt by Odeur and a key necklace from Carlings.

Yepp! the same dress again! But this time I wore circle lenses for the first time in a very long time! I think it's been since Halloween actually, or something. What's weird is that I actually don't think it looks as good with the circle lenses anymore :/

The next day me and my friends from Uni celebrated our exam by eating out and party at the club.

Hello everyone! ^___^

I hope your weekend was as nice as mine!

So, since I'm graduating and I've started my work I'll probably have more time for my interests. And also, I'll earn more money! *__* So I have A LOT of things I want to buy to be able to work with the things I like. Here's some of the things I really want to buy:

What I want to buy as soon as possible is a new laptop! I've been looking at so many reviews and I still can't decide on which I should buy. Right now I'm really into buying a Macbook pro, what computer do my fellow bloggers use for photo editing and video editing?

Second I need to get a flattening iron! The one I use right now I'd rather not use since it destroys my hair!

Next things I want is some real nice make-up brushes. I really don't have any... just some random cheap ones from H&M and such. I might buy Sigma's, they seem nice!

Next is, a new camera! I want to buy either a compact system camera or a digital system camera. I'm not a photographer, but I'd love to play some with photos and editing. It sucks to edit bad quality photos!

And last, a tablet! I've wanted a tablet since I was 14 years old! Don't ask me why I never bought it... it just never happened :/

This year I really want to be more productive with my blog and work with video/photo editing and I think these things might help me on the way! I need to practice, practice, practice! ^___^

New Year's Celebration!

Hi everyone!

I've been away from blogging since 2011, omg, I'm sooo bad at blogging! But really, same reason as before, too much school work. But tomorrow is my last lesson! *___* I'm so happy because finally I'll graduate from University! I actually already started to work as a kindergarten teacher ^____^ And it feels GREAT!

Anyways! Today I thought I'd post some photos from the New Year's celebration I celebrated with, Hyo Chan, my brother + girlfriend and many wonderful friends!

The day before the celebration I met up with my lovely friend Katja to hang out and have some coffee and cake.

Update/Haul/outfit

Hey lovelies!

I did it AGAIN! I'm sorry! I've been away for more than a month now and the reason to that is that I'm still working on my last big essay. I have news though! I'll get my teacher's exam in January (hopefully) and I'll start working in the middle of January!!! Which means.. I GOT THE JOB! ^______^

I'm sooo excited to start working!

Hopefully I'll have more time for my hobbies, such as blogging and stuff. I'm even thinking about getting a new laptop so that I'll be able to make my blog better and edit videos in better quality. I'm really looking forward to that! And hopefully I'll because to do creative stuff that I like such as make-up tutorials and so on~

I bought this because I was running out of my Lancôme skin care and also because I wanted something that would work in my dryyyy winter skin >_< So far I'm pleased!

Look at those wonderful shimmery colors! *___* I can't wait to play with it!

I bought hair dye a while ago to make my hair less yellow, I wanted a reddish brown color.

L'oreal Casting Crème Gloss - Mahogany 550

Since I was a little scared of using it at first I let the hair dye stay too short, so yesterday I dyed my hair again with the same color to make the color more visible.

Clinique Supermoisture makeup - Suuuper hydrated foundation!

I bought this because I'm sooo sick of my dry flaky skin I have during winter. Most foundations make my skin look really dry.

Just Keeping You Updated

Hello everyone!

It's been quite a while since I updated here and I feel like this break is necessary for me. I still haven't figured out what to do with my blog in the future and to be honest I'm so busy with school work at the moment that I feel like I wont be able to update continuously anyways. I'll get my teachers exam this winter if I pass, so that's why it's crucial.

I want to say that I'm truly grateful that most of you are still patient enough to keep following my blog.

I'm not really done with figuring out what to do with this blog yet, as I mentioned before, but I have been thinking a lot and I've come to realize that I don't want to stop blogging. It gives me too much joy that I just can't stop. During this break I missed blogging so much.

But what I've been thinking of is to change the design and concept of the blog. Maybe even the name, but I'm not sure yet. I need to think more about this.

When I chose these lenses I wanted to get a more mature/cool look and that's why I didn't go for big lenses. These lenses are not for those of you who want bigger looking dolly eyes. These lenses are more natural in it's design and are suitable for those of you who want a natural looking color change.

First of all I have to say that I'm actually not too fond of them. They are cool looking, but what brings them down for me is that they aren't very comfortable and in flash light I think they look a little bit fake. I can wear the for 6 hours, but after wearing them the whole day my eyes feel very dry. I'm a little bit disappointed that they're not as natural looking as I wanted them to be. What I do like about them is the size, they are perfect in size for natural looking color lens. I also like the color of them, especially in day-light. Usually green lenses tend to have a very fake looking color. Overall I think it's a pretty lens.

When I chose these lenses I wanted a natural looking lens that would enlarge a little and brighten up my own eye color a bit. These lenses are really what I was looking for. They look great! They blend in well with my own eye color and enlarges just about enough. I'm very pleased with how these look like on my eyes. If they only had been more comfortable to wear these would definitely be my favorite everyday lens. Too bad they are a bit dry. I can use eye drops, but they feel a little bit thick on my eyes which make them a little uncomfortable which is really a shame! They are such a pretty lens.

My Beauty Diary Mask - Sponsored Review

What I really like about them is that they encouraged me to write an honest review (although I always write honest reviews) so that their customers will be pleased with the products they buy.

Today I'll review three different beauty masks by the same brand: My Beauty Diary. Some of the information about the masks are used from Candylens.com. I wore the masks once a week in 3 weeks so that I could do a proper review on them.

First of all I'll start of to show you how to use the masks and how they look like.

How to:

Rinse your face thoroughly.

Unfold the mask gently and remove the plastics protecting the mask.

Place it so that as much as skin as possible is covered.

Wear it for about 20 minutes.

Take it off and dab the excessive liquid into the skin and let it dry.

Aloe Vera Facial Mask

Aloe - (provides skin with adequate moisture content)

Rose - (improves dry and rough skin texture)

Normal skin, especially dry and damaged skin

Review:

The mask was easy to apply and it had a very mild scent of roses, so if you are sensitive to strong perfumes this mask might be good for you. My skin around my nose is very dry but after wearing the mask it feels like it took away some of the dryness. My skin feel very smooth and healthy right after wearing it. I don't give it full points because I don't feel the smoothness was long-lasting.

Pearl Powder Facial Mask

Product Description

Review:

The scent is very subtle and smells of flowers. The mask is easy to apply, but on my face I felt as if the holes for the eyes were too small for me. It might have been because I have a high nose bridge. My face feels a little cool while wearing the mask. After wearing the mask and the skin had absorbed everything my skin feels renewed and very smooth. My skin is very damaged, but after wearing the mask my skin look very healthy! I'm very pleased with the result! The only difference I didn't see was that it didn't whiten my skin, but I think my skin looks like it has a nice and healthy glow after wearing it. Since it didn't whiten I will not give full points.

Black Pearl Facial Mask

Review:

The scent is very light, smells like flowers. When wearing it my face feels cool but at the same time it stings a little on my skin. I'm not sure of this is a good or a bad sign. After my skin absorbed all the liquid my face feels very smooth and looks brighter! I'm impressed how healthy my face looks after wearing it. My skin look more even! Full points on this one!

Overall review:

I like all three masks, but I have to say that Black Pearl Facial Mask was my absolute favorite because my face felt super revived and super soft. I would definitely use Black Pearl Facial Mask and Pearl Powder again because it really made a difference on my skin. One down side of these masks is that they don't last very long, but it's always nice to give your skin some goodies once in a while when you want to feel extra fresh and revive your stressed and dull skin. The price is also very reasonable.

Note: Remember that these are my personal experience with these products. Your skin might not react the same way with these masks since skin is very individual.

Hello guys,

I'm sorry for my last post. I don't want you to feel sorry for me or anything... I sometimes feel a bit ashamed for being down when I have so much good things in life.
I feel a little better now, but I'm still struggling though. I'm trying to build up my confidence and think more happy thoughts. It's alright though, we all go through those periods sometimes, right?

I just have to say that I'm really grateful that you're supporting me. Your comments on my last post made me really happy. It sounds a bit too dramatic because it's not really a big issue, but sometimes I forget how many wonderful people I have around me.

So what I've decided to do is to take good care of myself. I've started dieting (which means that I'm eating healthier food) and I'll soon start exercising again. I'm trying to find my way back to inspiration by shopping new clothes. I've also bought new skin care products to take good care of my skin from now on instead of photoshopping and wear thick layer of foundation.

I went to a cosmetic store and asked the shop staff for any recommendations for my skin

and here's what I got:

The last one is just a free try that I'm thinking of buying, just need to be sure because it's quite expensive. I'm thinking of buying it on duty free.

Let's hope that these might make my skin better. I'm positive about it because I already feel the difference :) I might do reviews on them if requested.

Coming up soon is circle lens reviews and mask reviews that I should have done months ago.

So right now I'm working one these reviews.

First of all just have to say, these DEFINITELY are definitely my favorite lenses so far! I've never worn this comfortable color contacts like these ones. If you're looking for enlargement but still want them to look natural and interesting at the same time these are definitely the lenses for you. These lenses are huuuge! Even though they have a natural design they're still noticeable (in a good way!).

The only down-side that I can think of is that they might look a little bit greenish in some lightings. The lenses are very thin and big which make them a little bit difficult to put on your eye, but if you're used to wearing lenses this will not be a problem! :)

What I like most with these lenses is that when wearing them it creates an halo effect on your iris which I think looks very cute!

Harry Potter Inspired Shoot

Hey guys!

So now that I have the time to blog I'm too lazy! >_< WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?

Anyways, this time I'm gonna post some photos me and my friend Hanna took on the day we went to see the last Harry Potter movie. Because we have to live up to being real nerds we thought it'd be fun to wear some inspired by HP outfits. Our outfits are inspired by Slytherin's school uniforms as you can see on the color theme of grey, black and green.

I was going for a cool slightly sinister look, but still fashionable.

Don't panic! I used A LOT of PS on these. I wanted to practice my PS skills and try to get a gloomy cool feeling to them. It's okay to Photoshop the shit out of photo shoot photos, right? 8D I'm still practicing though and I know they're not perfect.

As usually I always review with my honest opinions even if theses false lashes are sponsored for reviewing purpose.

My first reaction was that I thought they look a little odd because of it's design and I was very skeptic that they would look good on. They seemed to dramatic for my taste.

So I thought that if I cut them maybe they'd be okay.

Those pieces that is marked with a star is the pieces I wore for this review.

This is it looks like with me wearing one of them on one eye. The other eye I'm only wearing my usual upper false lashes. Can you see the difference?

When I wore them I was actually positively surprised!!!

They actually do look really good!

My first reactions was, as I said before, that I thought they looked a bit weird in it's design and I was skeptic. My reactions after trying them on was totally different, they actually look really good on. I'm not sure though if they'd look as good if I didn't cut them. Since they're pretty dramatic you need to have a dramatic eye make-up to go with it. The sustainability seems good, I don't need to be afraid to break them. They are a little shiny, but so are the Diamond Lashes I'm wearing in these photos.

All in all I think these lashes are totally worth it's price!

Saturday in Stockholm

Hey guys!

I've been away for a while since I was in Stockholm a few days. I'm back home now, but even though I don't have work or anything I still have things to do T_T My essay needs to be done as soon as possible so I'll take a break from blogging for a while now since I really need to concentrate on it.

This Week is Great!

Hi guys!

This Monday I started my vacation month! This week has so far been great and it's not over yet! I'm so happy to be free from work now and finally be able to enjoy the summer for real.

So this Monday I celebrated my birthday~

Hyo Chan woke me up in the morning and surprised me with some flowers and cake! That was so sweet of him. I'm actually very old fashion romantic and I love these kind of silly things, so I was very very happy!

So pretty!

Later on Malin wanted to celebrate my birthday by taking me out to the club and buy me a few drinks.

I had so much fun with her! This night was epic!

On Wednesday I met my friend Davy who was visiting me.

We went to the club to see our favorite artist Veronica Maggio on stage!

She was really amazing live! I'm so happy me and Davy got the best spots right in front of her!

I had so much fun! Another successful day!

When I chose these lenses I was actually inspired by one of my favorite gyaru model Shizuka Takeda from the magazine Happie Nuts.

I really love her cool look and I wanted to get it by wearing bright gray lenses. Since the Happie Nuts lean towards a more mature gyaru style they usually wear contact lenses that aren't too big and are more natural looking. This was what I was going for!

Over-all

These lenses are VERY vibrant! The color is icy which can be both beautiful, but with the wrong make-up I think they can look scary. The color blend very well with my own eye color which is dark brown.

They don't enlarge much at all, but I wasn't really going for enlargement this time. The lens itself is very thin, but I feel like they dry out fast, that's why the get low rates on comfort. I will try them more and see if I'll get used to them.

Alone Downtown

Hey guys!

Last Tuesday I was free from work and I was so tired of looking like shit everyday because of work and being at home after work. So, I did my make-up and went downtown by myself (since almost all friends are gone/busy during the summer).

So this is just a quick update before I go to sleep. I'm going to Stockholm tomorrow! Yay, finally something different than work!

One of Those Sunny Days

Hey guys!

So I'm still working on the reviews. I know I'm slooow! But they'll be up soon~

Meanwhile I'll post some pictures from today. I was hanging out with Hanna and her friend in town and we took a few pictures. Only on me though :(

Even though they are in bad quality I kind of like these pictures! ^___^ The light and colors are weird in a nice way, haha, yeah...

This summer we have so much open art in town and this yellow rabbit is on of them!

We also met this guy on the streets. He plays music with his whole body!

KKcenterHk Lower lashes - Review

Today I'm going to review some lower false lashes that KKcenterHk sponsored me.

On to the review!

First of all, here's me before wearing the lower lashes.

Here's how the look like in close-up.

The design is very similar to the lower lashes nr 5 by Melliesh that I bought a while ago. The Melliesh's seem to break more easily though.

One thing that disappointed me is that some of them are a bit uneven and some are longer than the other one.

They are pretty long, but you can of course cut them however you want. I only cut the ends of the excess clear band for this review.

Rates

Design ★★★☆☆
Since they were a bit uneven I can't give them full points in design. Otherwise, I really like the design, it's dramatic and has a nice pointy shape. If you like a dramatic eye make-up these are definitely the lashes for you.

Sustainability ★★★★★

They are very strong! I'm not afraid of breaking them so I will be able to wear them many many times. This is great for such cheap false lashes!

Application/comfort ★★★★☆
Since they are very strong they also are a tiny bit stiff which can be a little bit difficult when applying them.

Over-all
These lashes are really worth it's price! Even though some of them are uneven I think they make up for it in looks and sustainability.

Anyways, what I'm actually going to write about today is about my new baby!

Yesterday I got Samsung Galaxy S2~

Yepp, no iPhone 4 this time and I'm very VERY pleased that I chose this phone instead!

It has the biggest amazing screen and is sooo fast! (No, this is not a commercial!) It has to be the best phone I've ever tried! I'm not kiddin'! Isn't it beautiful and just super amazing?!

(In my next post I'll review these lower lashes from KkCenterhk.)

Hopefully I'll be able to blog with it!

Yesterday I called my Japanese friend who lives in Tokyo through Skype, he also has Skype on his phone, and I thought it was amazing how we could talk for free on our phones even if he lives so far away. Well I'm just blown away by the high-tech that I hadn't experience before. Hahaha, I'm so slow!
