Yeti Sighting

Contrary to popular belief, Yetis (at least the ones with two wheels) come from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado not the Himalayas. And now they're here in Kirkland. Twenty Years

Twenty years ago Kirkland Bicycle was born. Many things have changed in that time around here (including the name) but the good stuff has remained the same. We started in 1992 with the goal of providing great products with knowledgeable and friendly service. That was our foundation and today we are even more dedicated to providing the best customer experience around.

Come down and see us in our twentieth year. We love cycling and we want to make it easy for you to keep on loving or become smitten with bikes for the first time. Our rental fleet has been infused with a few sweet new demo bikes for the 2012 riding season and even more will be showing up in the coming weeks. Meet our newest additions:

Santa Cruz Nickel:
"With a long top tube and snappy pedaling manners, it's a climb-happy, nimble bike with sure-footed geometry that begs to go claim some tall peaks in the back country. And with five inches of sophisticated APP suspension travel designed to eat rocks and roots and jumps with all the ability of longer travel bikes, it also does a mighty fine job of whipping the descents into shape as well. Does that sound a little schizophrenic? Maybe so.
The Nickel's a perfect bike for those days when you have to flip a coin to decide where you want to ride."

Santa Cruz Nomad:
"With longer legs than most trail bikes and a lot less bulk than most freeride bikes, the Nomad sits in a class of it’s own. On one hand you’ve got a light but strong aluminum frame and 160mm of VPP travel. And on the other hand there’s an ISCG05 chainguide mount built into the frame and a beefy 1.5” headtube. It’s a big country trail bike that rolls up or down with ease. It’s a flyweight freeride bike that dances circles around heavier rigs but is still burly enough to tackle serious terrain.
