Fjällräven’s new lightweight push, PAK5, has gotten it’s own mini-site. The main Fjällräven site is also update with the new 2008 lineup. But there is no sign of the the PAK5 tent that was presented earlier.

Mjolner is a new backpack from Klättermusen, as usual with Klättermusen they have gone for their own design, like it or not. The backpack will come in 5 different sizes, male: 60L, 75L and 100L and female: 60L and 70L. But this is not a backpack for those that is looking to minimize weigh, the backpack weighs in at 2800 gram, but knowing Klättermusen, it will handle quite a lot of abuse.

The Corrie 1 & 2 are new tents from Kelty for spring 2008. Just as the names suggest the Corrie 1 is a solo tent and the Corrie 2 is a 2 person tent. Corrie 1 weighs 1.81 kg and Corrie 2 weighs 2.06 kg. The tent has been classed as 3 season backcountry light tents.

Surfing the Haglöfs website I noticed that all tents had been removed, a quick mail to Haglöfs confirmed my suspicions, Haglöfs quits the tent making business. From the Spring/Summer 2008, tents will not be part of the Haglöfs product line, though some resellers might still have Haglöfs tents in stock. So if you are look to buy a Haglöfs tent hurry up..
