We're hosting a series of new player orientation sessions beginning on August 1st (yes tomorrow!).

Come try out the game in a fun, safe, non-contact environment. We'll introduce you to the game, have a good time and meet some new friends.

All body types and conditions welcome, we'll find a spot for you!

The sessions will be at the football field next to View Ridge Elementary in East Bremerton.

Dates and Times:
August 1st, 6th, 8th - 6-8pm

Our first home match is this Saturday (3/9) and it's a double header! Men's match, kickoff at 12 noon, and High School Boys match, kickoff at 2pm. The pitch is located at the old Bremerton Jr High football field next door to View Ridge Elementary in E. Bremerton.

Hey,

Our first match is quickly approaching. It is March 2nd down in the Portland area vs the Nesian Tribe (formerly the Sturgeon). We need to know if you plan to play. In order to play you need to be CIPP registered with USA Rugby and you need to have paid your club dues, or made appropriate arrangements with Nickie (club Treasurer) by February 22nd. Yes that's next Tuesday!!!! Git 'er done!!! I for one am looking forward to playing some rugby. Don't let your team mates down because you can't git 'er done!

Just extended the spring schedule by adding another match. Since we couldn't field a team in the fall we've decided to hold the annual rematch at the end of the spring season. May 18th at Joint Base Lewis McCord (JBLM). That gives all of you a week or so to recoup from your exploits out at Maggot Fest!

Hey, we had 6 at practice last wednesday let's crank up the numbers! Our first match is just around the corner and. we've added another match to the schedule so check out the calendar.

Wednesdays 630-830 for the next 2 weeks. Then starting in February it's back to Tue/Thur 630-830. All practices are at Pendergast Regional Park, Bremerton. Field 8.

Spring (well it feels more like winter) Season 2013

Well, the holidays are over and that means spring rugby is just around the corner!! The high school boys will be starting their practices NEXT WEEK on Tuesday and the men start up the week after on Wednesday. I am finally attempting to update the site so look over on the left of the page for practice info.

Here's a run down:

All practices are at the Pendergast Regional Park in Bremerton (near the auto center area).

High School runs T/W/TH 415-615 Starting January 8th.
Men run Wednesdays in January 630-830, Starting the first week of February we'll switch to T/TH same time.

I hope to have some schedules posted soon. Bear with me, I'm slow at this. If you need more info, check out the boys facebook page or use the 'contact us' links on this site to make a phone call or send an email. Come out to practice and bring a friend the more of us there are the more fun practice and socializing become!

Reminder - If you plan to play in a match you MUST be registered with USA Rugby (CIPP). The cost is $60 and registration is accomplished at www.usarugby.org. You need to register with the "Olympic Peninsula Sports Union - Senior Men's".

Also in order for the club to meet it's expenses and support the teams you need to pay your dues. Please visit the 'Store' and either pay in a lump sum the half season dues or annual dues; or make your annual dues in 5 easy automatic installments. PayPal or major CC accepted.

Meet at Bremerton Jr High at 1100 for feild setup, kick off is at 1300 (1pm). The school is located behind the Albertsons in East Bremerton. I suggest taking Sylvan Way between 7-11 and Super Supplements. Then taking a right onto Spruce Ave by the post office. Follow the road past view ridge elementaryand take a left,pitch will be on the right.

USA Rugby Registration Changes - Good News!

Hey Everyone!

It's that time of year that we all need to register with USA Rugby. Last year, registration (CIPP), was $65 which included a $20 fee that went directly to PACCoast Rugby. Well, PACCoast is no more. USA Rugby has changed the structure of the nation's rugby (there's 4 regions now) and restructured the dues to include accident insurance. This accident insurance is in addition to any coverage you may already have, and it too complicated for me to explain in a blog post. Talk to Chewey about it or try to find the info yourself on the USA Rugby website (I don't know what is or isn't up there, so good luck).

The new USA Rugby registration fee is only $45 this year. Get yourself registered ASAP -- your current registration expires Aug 31.

Your club dues are also coming up soon, so keep that in mind. Men's 15s training begins Aug 23rd at Pendergast. Our first match is Sept. 17!
