Atheists In Foxholes (United States)

Atheists in foxholes, some say they are myths,

Creations of the mind who just don't exist.

Yet, they answered the call to defend, with great pride.

With reason their watchword, they bled and they died.

They took Saratoga from the British crown,

Secured America's freedom at the Battle of Yorktown.

From Sumter to Appomattox, fields flowed with their blood.

When the cannons grew silent, the flag proudly stood.

From the Marne to the Argonne, in trenches and tanks,

They defeated the Germans -- the whole world gave thanks.

They were bombed at Pearl Harbor, fought on to Berlin.

Many freethinking women served along with the men.

Still war keeps erupting -- Iraq, Bosnia, and Kosovo.

Where is the peace that eludes people so?

It is broken by tyrants who bear crosses and creeds,

That overshadow reason with hate and cruel deeds.

So atheists prevail until your work is complete.

Mothers mourn, children cry, and bigots plan your defeat.

By air, land, and sea, you answer freedom's call.

When are we going to get over 9/11?

I don't know....

My memories of that day are as fresh today as they were 10 years ago.

My drive to work was the usual insane Toronto Rush Hour drive, down the 410 and along the 401, past the Airport. Then down the 427 and across the Gardiner Expressway. It was a normal occurrence to see the Planes flying low over the Highway to land at the Airport. My thoughts when observing those planes went to the lucky people coming back from or going to exotic holiday destinations. Every morning was same minus or plus accidents that frustrated the nerves and slowed down or stopped the traffic.

I left my home in Brampton at 7:15 AM, arrived at my parking lot at 8:45 AM and walked to work arriving just before 9:00 AM.

The receptionist, greeted me as I walked in, with the comment that a plane just hit the World Trade Center in New York. She looked terrified. I assumed it was just a tragic accident and responded accordingly. "No." she said, "They're saying it was a terrorist attack!".

I continued to my office which I shared with my Boss, and repeated what the receptionist had said.

A minute later, she rushed into our office, saying that a second plane had hit the WTC. My Boss and I looked at each other, got up immediately and all of us went to the coffee room where the company had a TV. Slowly other company staff joined us until the room was full.

Someone switched channels so that we could listen to the various news stories, and finally settled on CNN.

A skeleton staff was left to answer the phones and people came and went as their various jobs required.

We were all in shock.

I hadn't really kept up with world politics, didn't know the current issues on the international stage, and so, asked rhetorically, not really expecting an answer, "Who would do such a thing, and Why?" Someone commented from behind me that it had to be Bin Ladin. I asked who Bin Ladin was and was told he was an Islamic extremist. I asked why the WTC? and was told because it was the heart of American Capitalism. I wondered why the Islamic extremists would care about hurting American Capitalism.

Someone else commented that the Americans had brought this on themselves.

I responded that no matter what the Americans have done, nothing justified this.

And then we saw the WTC towers come crashing down, live, through the eye of CNN's camera lens.

My immediate reactions were, "There are thousands of people in those buildings!" and "My son is on his way to work and has to go right past those buildings to get to MidTown Manhattan from Jersey City!"

In a panic I ran from the coffee room and tried to contact my son by phone to assure myself that he was okay.

The lines were tied up and I couldn't get through on my cell phone. My boss suggested I use the land line. I couldn't get through on the land line.

The rest of the morning was spent running back and forth from the coffee room to watch the events unfold, and to the phone to try to reach my son.

I finally got through at around 11:00 AM to the answering machine at his work place and left a message asking him to call me back right away so that I knew he was alright.

I then heard that a subway train had been buried under the rubble of the WTC and rescue workers were trying to get to it.

My stomach ached from the knots created by the worry and fear.

I went to the bathroom repeatedly because I didn't want anyone to see me cry.

To my great relief, he responded at around 12:00 PM.

He told me he took the bus, not the subway to get to work, that the bus went past the WTC.

He saw the second plane hit the WTC when he left his home in Jersey City which is right across the river from the WTC.

When the bus drove past the WTC he could see people jumping from 100 stories up and could hear their bodies landing.

He saw the Towers come down. The bus had stopped, and everyone was watching the events unfold in shock and fear.

He and his girlfriend, a Nanny in UpTown, spent the night at his workplace because no-one was allowed to leave the city, so they couldn't return to their apartment in Jersey City.

My boss told me that I could go home if I wanted to.

I thanked him, told him I would stay and settled down to trying to get some work done.

Driving home, the skies were empty near the airport.

From that point on, I saw the low flying planes over the highway in a completely new light.

It wasn't about vacationers and exotic holiday locations anymore.

It was about fear.

All flights to American locations had been redirected to Canadian airports, particularly the one next to the 401. Pearson International.

When I got home I called my Mother.

She had been planning to come to Toronto at the end of the week, and my vacation was to start September 15th.

We had planned to drive to New York together to visit my son and his girlfriend on September 15th.

His girlfriends parents were visiting that week and were scheduled to return to Germany on September 11th.

They left at the end of the week.

The line ups at the border were hours long and flying was not an option.

My son and his girlfriend asked us not to come.

We didn't go.

I cried for the people who died and for the people who lived.

My son's breathing troubles started two months later. He was initially diagnosed as having Panic Attacks.

In 2005, he developed serious lesions on his skin all over his body, infected with Streptococcus bacteria. Neither he nor the Doctors could explain it.

He breathed in the dust on that day and the fumes for months as the fires burned and the toxic fumes drifted across the river to Jersey City where he lived.

Now that the August 26 events are over, I'm going to address the recent Class Conscious critique of the #Unity4J movement.

The Dead End Of ‘Uniting’ With Fascists To Defend Julian Assange.

My critique of the Class Conscious article (like my Twitter feed) reflects my personal opinions and is neither an official or unofficial position of Unity4J nor any other organization or persons I'm affiliated with. These opinions are my own and I stand by them on my own.

I'm a Freethinker and don't follow any ideology, so I don't have a horse running in the ideological rat race. Most of my positions, when summarized on Political Compass put me in the center of the Left Libertarian spectrum.

This following critique is not a personal or any other kind of attack on Davey Heller or Class Conscious but rather an attempt to engage with them on this very important issue and perhaps come to a common understanding. Even if we are unable to do that, it will be a good exercise in understanding each others positions and hopefully remaining on good terms despite any unresolvable differences.

Note that Davey Heller has been claiming, behind the scenes, that I have not responded to his critique despite the fact that he was tagged when this post was originally published. Nor has he made any effort to engage in any rational discussion on this serious topic.

In a world of divide and conquer, unity is the ultimate act of resistance

My main criticism of the position presented in the article can be summarized as follows:

The analysis over-generalizes and doesn't differentiate between the right which are Empire Loyalists and the right which aren't Empire Loyalists and openly criticize the Empire. Nor does it differentiate between open neo-nazis/white supremacists, the goon squads of the Empire, and right wing ignorance and bigotry. All of these are conflated together into a huge mash of alleged fascist evil without any understanding of their role in class and social relationships.

It's ironic as well as a significant oversight for any organization that claims to be socialist, publishing on a site which calls itself Class Conscious, that their article doesn't recognize or address the role of class relations in their analysis and critique of Unity4J's position, that we can and should unite to defend Julian, irrespective of ideology.

Major errors in reasoning will always occur when an analysis of a concept or cause is based on the people involved rather than the objective conditions that gave rise to the necessity for the cause. Then, within that context evaluate the role people are playing within it.

It's the very definition of the Argumentum Ad Hominem logical fallacy to center an argument on persons rather than positions.

A socialist, who doesn't also include a class analysis within that perspective is, by definition, not providing a socialist analysis, since class is the key factor to any socialist perspective.

These are precisely the errors that the article makes and why, in my opinion, the reasoning is so flawed and the conclusion so wrong, even from a socialist perspective.

The real issue, the reality that we are facing today is the global elite, the Empire, is creating a world-wide architecture for global fascism. They have been financing all sides of the major political parties (left, center and right) to ensure that their Loyalists are elected and their policies implemented, irrespective of which party ideology has power at any given time. Goldman Sachs gave large contributions to both the Democrats and the Republicans during the 2016 US election. Onex Corporation did the same in Canada.

This is why we are seeing very similar policies being implemented around the world in the form of anti-terrorist legislation, loosened controls on Intelligence Agencies, and the manufactured consent for the acceptability of the concept of "domestic terrorism". It's why legitimate dissent is now treated as a crime. In recent news, protesters engaged in legitimate dissent have been charged as terrorists. This is a first but expect this to become the norm. It's the direction the Empire is taking us.

We can also see this occurring as a conflict in the UK where Jeremy Corbyn is under serious attack by the Israel Lobby because he won't fall into line with the agenda of the Empire which includes propping up Israeli hegemony in the Middle East. Will MI5 and MI6 act on this obvious interference in the internal political affairs of the UK, by a foreign power and it's agents of influence? No, because they are part of the state machine which is currently under the control of the Empire. Their real job is to support it's agenda and not to defend National Security as they claim. If they were defending National Security, there would be Espionage charges laid.

The Empire is doing all of this because it has a very deep understanding of how unity, irrespective of ideology, works and has focused on that approach quite successfully. The only basis of unity the Empire requires is that you be a good Loyalist by implementing/supporting/amplifying the Empire's policies, keep their secrets, and don't question, expose or otherwise interfere with their agenda to implement global fascism. It doesn't care whether you're pro-choice or anti-abortion, love or hate LGBTQs, etc. etc. Just don't mess with their key agenda and it's all good.

Trump's basic problem is that he's a crony capitalist and while he's loyal to the Empire, he also has his own agenda of crony capitalism which he wants to implement. This has the potential of creating problems for the Empire at this particular moment in history. As a result, the Empire has mobilized the Deep State to get him under control. Failing that, they'll come up with a way to get rid of him. This state machine acts for whoever controls it. Today it is controlled by the Empire, the global elite and implements it's policies.

RussiaGate allows the Deep State, acting on behalf of the Empire, to kill two birds with one stone. Discredit Trump and back Hillary's rather pathetic and lame excuses for losing the 2016 election.

I've never disputed the allegations regarding Russia hacking the US, the DNC and anyone else they could hack and I don't doubt there is reams of evidence to support that. Nor do I doubt that there is reams of evidence to support allegations that Trump colluded with Russia. There may well be. There's certainly evidence to show that Hillary colluded with Russia and even more to show that Feinstein and others colluded with China.

There is no evidence that I'm aware of that supports the allegation that WikiLeaks' email release was the result of such a hack or that there was collusion between WikiLeaks, Trump and Russia.

The allegations that the Don Jr. / WikiLeaks chats were "evidence" of collusion is rebutted quite well in this article: No, Julian Assange is NOT a Fascist. The author demonstrates quite clearly that WikiLeaks was simply doing their job as journalists. There was no indication of collusion of any kind.

Hillary alleges that Russia sabotaged her in collusion with WikiLeaks, rather than face the harsh reality that she lost because she's corrupt, abused her power, and got exposed by her own words. Her interference in the election, the sabotage of Bernie's campaign and the amplification of Trumps in the hope that Trump would be considered too crazy to vote for, backfired on her. The attempts to entrap Assange into appearing to be a Russian agent failed and were also exposed.

Hillary was the Empire's preferred candidate and they did everything possible to try to get her elected. Unfortunately for them, Hillary's corruption and abuses of power were so thoroughly exposed in her own words, in thousands of emails, released by WikiLeaks, that people voted against her. She wasn't the preferred candidate of the Empire because she was a DEM. She was the preferred candidate because she understood, complied with, and was committed to supporting the agenda of the global elite, the Empire.

Trump, on the other hand, is a loose cannon and wants to fulfill his own agenda of crony capitalism as well. An agenda which is creating certain problems with the implementation of the agenda of the Empire. It's partially aligned with benefitting him directly and his personal friends. So, it's in his interests to maintain the peace with Russia whereas the Empire has openly sided with the fascist elements in the Ukraine and wants to bring down Russia to loosen it's control in key areas like oil.

This doesn't make Trump disloyal to the Empire. He is, in fact, a component part of the Empire. It's simply an internal difference of opinion on certain specific issues within the Empire and the most influential will win this internal battle.

It's apparent to me:

1. The agenda of the Empire is to further develop their architecture of fascism globally.

2. The goal of this fascist agenda is to suppress any resistance to their main agenda of feeding the war machine to continue making trillions for the military industrial complex, coming up with new and creative ways to rob the taxpayer, etc.

3. The Empire has no regard for the destruction of the economy and the extreme hardship imposed on the people.

4. The Empire Loyalists will remain loyal and committed to this agenda because they benefit socially and financially if they do.

Given that both the GOP and the DEMs as stated before are being financed by the same segments of the Empire and given that the same agendas were implemented by Bush, Obama and now Trump, it should be obvious that over-generalizations about Trump, the person, being a fascist, and his policies being fascist, while not entirely false, don't represent the full picture.

In addition, all of the arguments used to say Trump is a fascist can also be applied to Obama and Bush. The reason for that isn't that they are all "Hitlers" as individuals. The reason for that is that they all follow(ed) the agenda of the global elite which includes building the architecture of fascism and imposing it on the people. So, Trump, in reality, is no more or less fascistic in terms of the policies he's implementing than Bush and Obama were. In fact, Obama was the one who laid the foundation for much of what Trump is now doing.

The full picture is that it wouldn't have mattered who got elected, the key agenda would have been implemented. Even Bernie would have had to tow the line because the DEMs had already been bought and paid for by the Empire.

It's the Empire that is imposing fascism on all of us, and it's Loyalists and goon squads are required to tow it's line. While they do so they will both benefit and be protected from the consequences of their actions. The most obvious expression of this protection is the police protection provided to the neo-nazis and white supremacists and the police reliance on their snitching on Antifa.

One of the arguments that I've come across has been that the rise of these neo-nazi and white supremacist groups occurred with Trump and that he was facilitating them. This is only the case in the US. Globally these groups have been establishing their presence for at least 5 years now and they won't be going away if Trump is ousted nor will the police stop protecting them. Their presence is part of the agenda of the global elite.

So the real battle isn't between DEMS vs GOP, progressives vs reactionaries, left vs right, etc.

The real battle is between the Empire and it's Loyalists (which include it's goon squads of neo-nazis and white supremacists) versus those who resist the Empire.

There are people in both the left and the right spectrums who resist the Empire, criticize it's agenda and refuse to be it's loyal servants. And while there might be elements on the left, right and center, who will show support to some parts of the agenda, usually out of ignorance or being self-serving, they strongly resist other parts, like the incursions on our civil rights, and on those grounds show their disloyalty.

Martin Luther King emphasized this point repeatedly during the Civil Rights Movement and while he was a Christian, he was also a socialist and spoke up on behalf of the white oppressed and white poor of America (where racism ran rampant). The Black Panthers did the same. They actively opposed the ideologies of Identity politics and Victimization which tried to create divisions under the banners of Black Nationalism, third wave style Feminism (which existed but was rejected at the time by second wave feminist activists) et al.

Rejecting the divide and rule politics was what led to the successes of the Civil Rights Movement.

Yes we're fighting the same battles today that we fought in the 1960s (with variations on the theme and in a much more dangerous, turbulent and complicated environment). We aren't doing this because we failed in the 1960s.

We are doing this because we became apathetic after our victories and allowed the elites to encroach further and further into the state, taking over control, and chipping away at our civil rights, our salaries, our tax purse, buying our unions, etc.

We believed the lies. We fell for the con.

So, now, today, we have to fight the same battle, and we have to do it by uniting everyone who is not an Empire Loyalist against the Empire whether it's to free Julian Assange, protect our press freedoms, protect our civil rights, or anything else that is being threatened and impacts all of us.

We don't have to agree on anything else. In fact, it wouldn't be a mass movement if it consisted only of people who agreed on ideology, or had particular orientations in common.

That doesn't mean everyone has to go to the same protests or be involved in the same activities. It doesn't pre-empt the left or the right from holding their own rallies where they invite their own supporters, etc. It simply means we show solidarity for the same cause.

In this case, it means that we show solidarity with anyone who agrees with Freeing Julian Assange, whose rights, which are being violated, are directly connected to protecting Press Freedoms and Free Speech. Two concepts that are critical to a functioning democracy and today are under threat.

Let's not forget that Free Speech and Freedom of the Press were the first rights to be suppressed when Hitler attained absolute power in Nazi Germany.

Loyalists = global petit bourgeoisie and fascist goon squads of neo-nazis and white supremacists

Deep State = state machine of each country

And Justice For All?

Just to be perfectly clear, I’m not a lawyer. My approach is to examine what I personally consider to be misconduct based on a layman’s interpretation of the existing legal standards and nothing more. Only a legal expert (lawyer, judge, etc.) would be qualified to determine whether an illegal act or one which constitutes misconduct has actually occurred.

That said, there have been several high profile cases in the news recently which are closely connected to demands for transparency and freedom of access to information and where corruption of our judicial system appears to be in the works.

Julian Assange of WikiLeaks, the site which leaks information provided by whistleblowers and/or hackers from around the world. Mr. Assange has not been charged with any crime;
Bradley Manning, charged with providing secret information to WikiLeaks;
Jeremy Hammond, charges related to the Stratfor hack; and
Aaron Swartz, charges related to the MIT/JSTOR hack; Mr. Swartz allegedly committed suicide and the charges against him have since been withdrawn.

The specific charges don’t really matter in this context. What matters is how each of these cases are being/were handled by the Prosecution and/or Judge involved.

Julian Assange

In between WikiLeaks first major public release of data and their second major public release of data, Mr. Assange was investigated for alleged and very minor sex “crimes”. Acts so minor that they would not be considered crimes in most other countries and which rest almost entirely on personal testimony rather than objective, verifiable evidence. Mr. Assange was interviewed while in Sweden regarding those claims, no charges were laid and Mr. Assange’s freedom to leave Sweden was not restricted.

I could get into the sheer stupidity of these particular laws which allowed this situation to occur but I’m going to leave that alone for now. Anyone who knows the specifics knows how completely idiotic this entire thing is from start to finish. All I can say is that I strongly suggest that any male visiting Sweden not make the mistake of having sex there. Seriously.

Around the time of the second major leak, while Mr. Assange was in London, UK, the Prosecutor claimed that a second interview was required. Mr. Assange agreed to the interview but wanted to remain in the UK and either conduct it through a video feed or have the Prosecutor come to the UK to conduct it.

Mr. Assange was well within his rights to make such a request and the acceptance or denial of the request was a matter of Prosecutorial discretion. That is the prosecutor could have acceded to the request but wasn’t required to by law.

The Prosecutor exercised their discretion by insisting that the interview had to be conducted in Sweden but provided no explanation as to why this was necessary.

Meanwhile, it was discovered through the Stratfor hack that a Grand Jury had met in the US and had secretly indicted Mr. Assange.

The only reasonable conclusion one can come to which might explain the Prosecutor’s refusal to accede to the reasonable accommodations requested by Julian Assange, is that Sweden has agreed to extradite him to the US to face the charges laid against him there.

Is this Prosecutorial misconduct? And on what grounds?

“Prosecutorial misconduct is conduct which violates court rules or ethical standards of law practice.” (See detailed definitions at the end of the post).

In my opinion, if Sweden is using Prosecutorial discretion as their means of trying to get Julian Assange back to Sweden on false grounds (the allegations made against him for which he hasn’t been charged) and in order to act against him by extraditing him to the US it certainly would “violate … the ethical standards of law practice”.

In order to restore the confidence in and perception of justice of the Swedish legal system all the Swedish Prosecutor has to do is interview Assange by video from the Ecuadorian Embassy and then either charge him or close the investigation.

The misconduct here and potential for further misconduct is patently obvious if they continue to refuse this reasonable and simple solution.

Bradley Manning
(Note: At the time I wrote this, Chelsea Manning was using her birth name, Bradley and birth gender. It wasn't until much later that she requested her gender transition be recognized).

Bradley Manning, a member of the US military, was arrested and charged with allegedly leaking secret information to WikiLeaks.

He was held in what can only be described as tortuous conditions for nine months between, July 2010 and April 2011. He continues to be held without bail and awaiting trial. He was arrested in May, 2010 and his trial will begin in June, 2013 after pre-trial hearings in February, 2013 are complete. (Trial Date Correction. 2013.01.23)

In this case Prosecutorial discretion was invoked in determining the charges which, according to the defense amounted to an attempt to intimidate Mr. Manning into testifying against Julian Assange by overcharging him based on overstating the alleged harm that occurred.

According to the Prosecution it’s perfectly acceptable to exaggerate charges and keep someone in prison without bail for approximately 2 years and 7 months. It will be over 3 years by the time the case is finally heard. A final ruling on whether the case will be dismissed on the grounds that it violates Manning's right to a speedy trial will be made at the end of February. (Correction based on new information)

Are these the “ethical standards of law practice” that the US commonly adheres to or are they simply acceptable depending on who the defendant is?

Jeremy Hammond

Jeremy Hammond’s case is perhaps the clearest of all.

Mr. Hammond was charged for the Stratfor hack.

Ironically, the Trial Judge was the spouse of a Stratfor client who has apparently and to date refused to recuse herself from the case. She insists it be dealt with in court.

If this Trial Judge does not recuse herself, in my opinion, it will be a clear and obvious case of Judicial Misconduct for which she should be removed from the bench.

Where he himself or his spouse has a personal interest in the dispute;”

Aaron Swartz

Aaron Swartz is the saddest of all.

Mr. Swartz was charged with the JSTOR/MIT hack.

According to his family, Mr. Swartz was pursued by the Prosecution to such a degree that he committed suicide. Apparently this is the second Hacker this particular Prosecutor has driven to suicide.

The fact that two of this Prosecutor’s defendants met the same fate says a lot about how he handles his cases and defendants in general. And while it’s possible that this isn’t technically considered misconduct one has to wonder why it's not acceptable to do the following to witnesses and is considered misconduct:

“Threatening, badgering or tampering with witnesses;”

But it’s apparently okay to do that to the defendant? How is one an “ethical standard of law practice.” and the other not?

One of the most basic premises in law is supposed to be “presumed innocent until proven guilty” so how do we rationalize treating defendants like criminals before they’ve been convicted, or in the case of Julian Assange before he’s even been charged with anything?

Presumption of Innocence

A legal presumption that benefits a defendant in a criminal case and which results in acquittal in the event that the prosecutor does not prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms

Any person charged with an offence has the right ... to be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal.

Rule of Law Definition:

That individuals, persons and government shall submit to, obey and be regulated by law, and not arbitrary action by an individual or a group of individuals.

Due Process Definition:

Fundamental procedural legal safeguards of which every citizen has an absolute right when a state or court purports to take a decision that could affect any right of that citizen.

Prosecutorial Discretion:

Discretionary powers exercised by the government's prosecution service such as whether to prosecute charge recommended by police, to stay an ongoing proceeding, plea bargaining, or the taking over of a private prosecution.

Prosecutorial Misconduct:

Prosecutorial misconduct is conduct which violates court rules or ethical standards of law practice. Examples, among others, may include:

Courtroom misconduct (making improper remarks or improperly introducing evidence designed to prejudice the jury: violating rules regarding selection of the jury; or making improper closing arguments);
Hiding, destroying or tampering with evidence, case files or court records;
Failing to disclose evidence that might tend to exonerate the defendant
Threatening, badgering or tampering with witnesses;
Presenting false or misleading evidence;
Selective or vindictive prosecution
Denial of a speedy trial rights
Use of unreliable and untruthful witnesses and snitches

Judicial Misconduct

Conduct on the part of a judge that is prohibited and which could lead to a form of discipline.

.... conduct prejudicial to the effective and expeditious administration of the business of the courts, or (an inability) to discharge all the duties of office by reason of mental or physical disability.

(A) judge's conduct must be free from impropriety and the appearance of impropriety and that both his official and personal behavior be in accordance with the highest standard society can expect. The standard of conduct is higher than expected of lay people and also higher than that expected of attorneys. The ultimate standard must be conduct which constantly reaffirms fitness for the high responsibilities of judicial office, and judges must so comport themselves as to dignify the administration of justice and deserve the confidence and respect of the public.

Recusal

The recusal of a judge may be requested:

Where he himself or his spouse has a personal interest in the dispute;

Where he himself or his spouse is the creditor, debtor, presumed heir or donee of one of the parties;

Where he himself or his spouse is related by blood or marriage with one of the parties or his or her spouse up to the fourth degree of kinship inclusive;

Where there have been or have proceedings between himself or his spouse and with one of the parties or his or her spouse;

Where he has, previously, had knowledge of the matter in the capacity of a judge or arbitrator or where the has counseled one of the parties;

Where the judge or his spouse is entrusted of the administration of the property of one of the parties;

Where there exists a link of subordination between the judge or his spouse and one of the parties or his or her spouse;

Where there has been a notorious friendship or enmity between the judge and one of the parties....

"The party who wishes to recuse a judge shall have, on pain of inadmissibility, to do so as soon as he has knowledge of a ground of recusal.

"In no case may the request for recusal be made after the end of the oral arguments."

All of the above definitions are American. However, since American and Canadian law is somewhat based on British law I don’t expect the definitions to differ too greatly between countries nor have I bothered to check.

These definitions are intended to be nothing more than a general guide to this discussion.

The Recent Defamation of #WikiLeaks and #JulianAssange, Part 2

The Recent Defamation of #WikiLeaks and #JulianAssange, Part 1 introduced the topic of the recently published AP leaks related to WikiLeaks and built a case around the first document being fraudulent or at the very least unauthenticated.

This case was built around the document properties provided by AP in their attempt to authenticate the document, the context in which the document appeared on the scene as well as the person WikiLeaks believes created the document, Sigurdur Thordarson.

In Part 1, I concluded that WikiLeaks assessment was the one most likely to be correct given all of the facts that are publicly available to us. That is, the document was most likely a forgery created by Sigurdur Thordarson and the allegation that it "proved" Julian Assange was trying to flee to Russia was just a baseless confabulation.

Note that the Russian Embassy released a statement on September 26, 2018 (two days before Part 1 was published) confirming WikiLeaks denial. So this entire issue is now done.

Israel Shamir has been directly associated with the document as allegedly having been the recipient who was responsible for obtaining a Russian visa for Julian Assange. There is no evidence to support this, given that the document itself isn't authenticated properly, is a forgery, according to WikiLeaks, and the Russians state unequivocally that there has never been any discussion with anyone regarding "ending Mr. Assange's stay within the diplomatic mission of Ecuador".

The AP (Associated Press) article also claims that Shamir has stated the following in a telephone interview:

Shamir told the AP he was plagued by memory problems and couldn’t remember delivering Assange’s letter or say whether he eventually got the visa on Assange’s behalf.

“I can’t possibly exclude that it happened,” Shamir said in a telephone interview. “I have a very vague memory of those things.”

Shamir’s memory appeared sharper during a January 20, 2011, interview with Russian News Service radio — a Moscow-based station now known as Life Zvuk, or Life Sound. Shamir said he’d personally brokered a Russian visa for Assange, but that it had come too late to rescue him from the sex crimes investigation.

However, they don't provide a reference link to the interview so that statement can be verified, nor has Shamir confirmed the statement they attribute to him in the telephone interview anywhere that I could find.

What Israel Shamir said or didn't say is now irrelevant anyway given the tweet from the Russian Embassy and the statement by the Russian Embassy in the Guardian, quoted above.

Given that the conspiracy theories surrounding his part of the story are fascinating (actually laughable), I feel obligated to rehash this part of the story for the sole purpose of demonstrating how disinformation campaigns like this work.

Part 1 has provided you with some insight on how "evidence" is concocted and misrepresented deceptively as the foundation of a disinformation campaign.

While I didn't present it in that context, it is actually how it works.

So, now, in the case of Shamir's part of the story:

Shamir was one of many journalists with access to portions of the WikiLeaks database for journalistic research purposes. He had no formal relationship with WikiLeaks other than that, nor was there any long term relationship between him and Julian Assange, according to WikiLeaks.

WikiLeaks statement that was given to, but not used by, the UK satirical current-affairs magazine, Private Eye:

Israel Shamir has never worked or volunteered for WikiLeaks, in any manner, whatsoever. He has never written for WikiLeaks or any associated organization, under any name and we have no plan that he do so. He is not an 'agent' of WikiLeaks. He has never been an employee of WikiLeaks and has never received monies from WikiLeaks or given monies to WikiLeaks or any related organization or individual. However, he has worked for the BBC, Haaretz, and many other reputable organizations.

It is false that Shamir is 'an Assange intimate'. He interviewed Assange (on behalf of Russian media), as have many journalists. He took a photo at that time and has only met with WikiLeaks staff (including Assange) twice. It is false that 'he was trusted with selecting the 250,000 US State Department cables for the Russian media' or that he has had access to such at any time.

Shamir was able to search through a limited portion of the cables with a view to writing articles for a range of Russian media. The media that subsequently employed him did so of their own accord and with no intervention or instruction by WikiLeaks.

We do not have editorial control over the of hundreds of journalists and publications based on our materials and it would be wrong for us to seek to do so. We do not approve or endorse the writings of the world's media. We disagree with many of the approaches taken in analyzing our material.

Most of these rumors had not, and have not, been properly corroborated. WikiLeaks therefore asked Index to let us know if they had received any further information on the subject. Deception:

"Shamir has a years-long friendship with Assange, and was privy to the contents of tens of thousands of US diplomatic cables months before WikiLeaks made public the full cache. Such was Shamir's controversial nature that Assange introduced him to WikiLeaks staffers under a false name. The claim that Shamir was a close associate of Assange is denied by WikiLeaks. The only "evidence" provided to support it is this single image of them sitting together. By that absurd standard, Tommy Douglas, father of Canada's Health Care system was my bestie because there's one picture of me with him when I met him as a teenager and was a member of the New Democratic Youth.

Absurd as it is, this deception has become the foundation for numerous confabulations to discredit Assange using the Guilt by Association fallacy as an Argumentum Ad Hominem attack. This demagogic style of argumentation is a key component of any Propaganda arsenal.

One example of this is the false allegation that, Assange is allegedly antisemitic and right-wing because he allegedly has a close, long term relationship with Shamir who is allegedly an antisemite and holocaust denier.

The facts are that Shamir is Jewish. His family was devastated by the Holocaust. He is also just one of MANY Jews who are critical of Israeli policy and Israel's treatment of the Palestinians

It's the right wing extremist element in Israel and their supporters in the Israel Lobby, that is pushing this propaganda that any criticism of Israel constitutes "antisemitism". Jeremy Corbyn, a man who has a long history of fighting against fascism and antisemitism is also being falsely accused of being an "antisemite" by that same element.

To understand this issue in depth, I recommend the recent Al Jazeera film, The Lobby which exposes the dark underbelly of the Lobby in the UK.

Segments of the US version, which has been banned, have also been leaked to various sites.

So, back to the main topic, and to summarize this section:

the disinformation is spread about Shamir that he is an alleged antisemite, holocaust denier which implies he's right wing
a foundation is built by spreading that falsehood everywhere
that becomes the foundation for disinformation attacks on Assange by association, that is, since Assange has "friends" who are allegedly right wing,antisemite, holocaust deniers then he must be as well.

The claim that Shamir had access to thousands of US diplomatic cables is based on the above allegations by James Ball, a WikiLeaks intern from November 23, 2010 to December 15, 2010. In February, 2011 he became a full-time journalist for the Guardian. The job with the Guardian gave him an unprecedented platform from which he could establish his false narrative as an alleged witness to Shamir's activities in relation to WikiLeaks and Assange. That narrative consisted of exaggerations, spins, and, according to Shamir, outright lies, intended to give the false impression that Shamir had more access to the cables than other journalists.

WikiLeaks, in their statement quoted above, has stated clearly that his access was the same as that of other journalists.

If Shamir had unrestricted access to the cables (implied by Ball), why would he have to ask Ball for cables about "the Jews", as Ball also claims? He wouldn't have to.

The "interest" in those cables appears to have been a fabrication by James Ball, as a set-up, so that a foundation could be created for later allegations. Ball, and the other media writing these stories, simply ignore the inherent contradictions in Ball's story when they use it as a foundation for later false allegations.

Shamir states that he received cables related to Minsk and Moscow from James Ball and that Ball offered them to him on his own initiative, not at Shamir's request.

You [James Ball] did it even twice: just before my departure you came to me on your own initiative and kindly handed me "a better file on Jews", twice as big as the previous one. Apparently lying and cheating is your second nature by now.

Still later, when damning evidence emerged that Shamir had handed cables material to the dictator of Belarus – a man he holds in high esteem – to assist his persecution of opposition activists, Assange shamefully refused to investigate. - Israel Shamir and Julian Assange's cult of machismo by James Ball

This part of the story was built on the foundational false narrative established by Ball re: the " access to all cable material concerning "the Jews"" and the "was privy to the contents of tens of thousands of US diplomatic cables" plus the following image was "evidence" that Shamir had been in Minsk.

This particular story is quite complex but has been examined in depth in this article: The Guardian and WikiLeaks, Hazel Press, January 19, 2013. To understand this issue I recommend you read the article.

The author, after an in-depth analysis concludes that the allegation that Shamir handed cables over to Lukashenko to damage the Belarus opposition is baseless. There isn't a shred of hard evidence to support it. This image combined with articles which appear to be based on nothing more than unsupported assertions, assumptions, exaggerations and spin, are the combined total of the evidence.

The article is a recommended read to get a solid grasp of what happened, when and why.

One of the very interesting points made in the article is to demonstrate how one false allegation gets built by using other false allegations as their foundation. You can see this by clicking through the links the articles reference to try to locate the original source. When you find the original source you can see that the entire narrative is built on sand since the original sources don't offer any evidence of their claims.

Guilt by association is used to smear Assange here as well. Once the narrative was established by Ball, that Shamir had allegedly handed cables over to the Belarus government, led by Lukashenko, Assange and WikiLeaks were then falsely accused of putting dissidents at risk.

The facts, according to the Hazel Press article above, and which are substantiated, are that Charter 97, a human rights group in Belarus, had received the cables and had published articles criticizing the Lukashenko regime. The web site was DDOSd and the Belarus police raided their offices and arrested them. According to the article, this is likely how the regime got access to the cables. Andrei Sannikov, the leader of the Opposition was imprisoned by Lukashenko.

In addition, Andrei Sannikov's sister, Irina, main spokesperson of the Free Belarus campaign, invited Julian Assange to the screening of their film, Europe's Last Dictator. Assange had been helping Belarussian dissidents in the background.

If one wanted to nitpick this tempest in a teapot, one certainly could, but in the end it would be a pointless exercise. As I said in Part 1, even if it were all true and the motivation was to escape any US extradition attempt by going to Russia (and there is no foundation here to indicate that it is) ... so what?

After Ecuador granted Assange Ecuadorian citizenship & made him a diplomatic staffer to the embassy in London, Ecuadorian officials may well have discussed amongst themselves what diplomatic posting to give him, on the assumption that the UK response would be to declare him "persona non-grata" (and thus trigger Vienna Convention rules about allowing sufficient time for diplomats rejected in this same way to leave the country safely).

However, as eye-witness Craig Murray has already told us in his recent blog post on this topic "it is a fact that Julian directly ruled out the possibility of going to Russia as undesirable".

The fact that this document referred to in this article and the others which appeared on Twitter today do indicate that Ecuadorian officials wanted to send Assange to Russia, are quite meaningless, since Assange rejected the suggestion.

"There is a ministerial agreement [at the Foreign Ministry of Ecuador], according to which Julian Assange was appointed Ecuador's diplomatic representative in Moscow," Vintimilla said.

And last but not least, you know the propagandists are desperate when they've sunk so low that all they have left is to try to divert the discussion of serious political and civil rights issues into personal attacks about Julian Assange's personal hygiene and threaten Embassy Cat.

The inevitable outcome of all of this confabulation is to support the RussiaGate confabulation that WikiLeaks and Julian Assange are allegedly in cahoots with the Russians to undermine the US. There is no evidence that demonstrates any connection between Assange and the Russians or WikiLeaks and the Russians, that would support this narrative, despite repeated attempts to create the false impression that there is.

In my humble opinion, the US is doing an excellent job of undermining themselves, as is Russia and numerous other countries around the world. None of those countries actually need any help from anyone when it comes to undermining their own democracies, economic and social systems, even if they're getting that "help" from each other. Which they probably are.

All WikiLeaks and Julian Assange have done is expose these governments own words and deeds to the people. For the first time in history, we can see globally and first hand, the destruction that is being wreaked on our societies by the global elite working in collusion with lawless governments that have gone rogue.

In order to clearly understand the problem, you have to ignore the MSM Propaganda narratives and look at the actual facts. Thanks to Julian Assange and WikiLeaks, people are starting to understand this and have actually been enabled to do this.

This is what many of the Independent and Alternative media sites have been doing and it's why they have much larger followings on Social Media than MSM sites. It's also why they're being mass-censored by Google, Facebook and now Twitter is following suit. It's a last ditch desperate attempt to save the dying MSM and maintain control over the propaganda narratives.

When you understand the problem, you can work on the solution.

The Recent Defamation of #WikiLeaks and #JulianAssange, Part 1

I’ve entitled this article “The Recent Defamation of WikiLeaks and Julian Assange” because in reality the defamation campaign against both has been going on for years. In order to write this article I had to do a deep dive into the details of what can only be described as the darkest and most deceptive rabbit hole in existence in recent years.

Given this history, the deceptions in dark places and webs of intrigues that are now occurring are beyond the pale and would rival any great spy novel.

Anyone calling themselves a journalist, who is accepting the narrative spin being provided by the mainstream media, at face value, is proving that they don’t have the foggiest clue what real journalism is or simply don’t care.

Let’s start by examining the AP release of ten documents from their much larger WikiLeaks leak, announced on September 17, 2018.

In their first article, AP Exclusive: WikiLeaks files expose group’s inner workings, written by Raphael Satter and published by AP on September 17, 2018, they introduced their first document. It was a letter, allegedly written by Julian Assange, giving a journalist, Israel Shamir, authority to act on Assange’s behalf to obtain a Russian visa.

This article and the letter led to headlines in mainstream media globally about an alleged attempted escape plan by Julian Assange, to slip away to Russia.

AP and Raphael Satter, the author of the article, received a quick response from WikiLeaks refuting the authenticity of the document and identifying its source:

While I’m not a professional journalist, just a lowly blogger journalist who writes opinion pieces occasionally, it seems to me that the first rational step here, given WikiLeaks refutation, would be to find out more about Sigurdur Thordarson and Israel Shamir and their relationships with WikiLeaks.

Make sense? Apparently not, at least not to numerous “professional” journalists writing hit pieces all over the globe which leap to unwarranted conclusions, based on assumptions regarding this one letter.

Ok, that’s not entirely true. Many did do a little “research” into Siggi (Sigurdur’s nickname) and “Israel” (not his real name). Their “research” consisted of using old hit pieces as references for their new hit pieces.

Go “Investigative Journalism”!

As I enter the dank, dark rabbit hole, brush off the numerous spider webs, and turn on my flashlight I discover the infamous young Siggi was convicted for two years for committing embezzlement and financial fraud against WikiLeaks which included the forgery of information relating to impersonating Julian Assange.

That’s aside from his obsession with grooming and bribing under-age minors into having sex with him. He was convicted for another 2 years for that and another two years for embezzlement and fraud against another company.

The Judge sentenced him to prison for a total of 6 years, running concurrently and he was required to pay a total of over $200,000 USD in damages to all of the affected parties. He served 3 years and, according to the WikiLeaks Twitter account, was released recently.

Previous to his arrests and convictions, in 2011, Siggi had offered his services to the FBI to act as a paid informant within WikiLeaks.

It was then that, at about 3:30am on August 23, 2011, Thordarson sat down at his computer at home in Kópavogur and typed out a message to the US Embassy in Reykjavik. This was what triggered the rather infamous illegal operation by the FBI in Iceland. They had attempted to sneak into Iceland under false pretenses by telling the Icelandic authorities that they were investigating breaches in the Icelandic Parliamentary computer system. They were actually there to interview Siggi and set him up formally as a paid informant in WikiLeaks. When their deception was discovered they were unceremoniously kicked out of Iceland and arranged to meet Siggi in Denmark instead.

This action is detailed in Julian Assange’s affidavit and confirmed by Iceland’s Interior Minister at the time: Jónasson: The Icelandic Minister who refused cooperation with the FBI. katoikos.eu, December 7, 2016.

Siggi has publicly admitted he turned a lot of material over to the FBI and received $5,000 USD in payment on March 18, 2012.

According to a Justice Department receipt Thordarson says was provided by the FBI, he turned over eight hard drives in total containing of about 1 terabyte of data, which is the equivalent of about 1000 copies of the Encyclopedia Britannica. – Sigurdur Thordarson: WikiLeaks's baby-faced traitor. On September, 17, 2018, after Siggi’s release from prison, AP received what appears to be the same material. Was the source Siggi? Siggi and the FBI were the ones who had the material. That fact combined with Siggi’s recent release makes a strong case that he was the one who released them to AP, possibly in collusion with the FBI, unless he retained his own copies.

After Siggi handed the material over to the FBI on March 18, 2012, Siggi’s relationship with the FBI began to fall apart according to emails between Siggi and the FBI, which Siggi provided to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Once the agents obtained the hard drives and received the passwords to access them, Thordarson's emails suggest, they stopped responding regularly to his messages and rebuffed his attempts to set up another meeting. – Sigurdur Thordarson: WikiLeaks's baby-faced traitor. The FBI agent quoted in the Sydney Morning Herald stated there were "bureaucratic issues" but doesn’t specify what they were.

In early 2012, after a period of not responding to Thordarson's emails, his alleged FBI handler wrote that there had been "bureaucratic issues beyond my control that prevented me from maintaining contact," adding that "our relationship has been problematic for some others. This is not an ordinary case. But those were not my issues and I have been diligently trying to work out those issues so we can continue our relationship." – Sigurdur Thordarson: WikiLeaks's baby-faced traitor. In my opinion, and based on my knowledge of how the FBI works, SMH’s explanation is unlikely.

There were also signs that internal conflict was developing within the FBI over the infiltration of WikiLeaks, a controversial tactic not least because WikiLeaks is a publisher and press freedom groups have condemned from the outset the government's investigation into Assange and his colleagues. – Sigurdur Thordarson: WikiLeaks's baby-faced traitor. The FBIs history demonstrates that it doesn’t use civil rights violations like press freedoms as a measure for determining whether they are or are not going to infiltrate an organization, whether it’s a criminal enterprise or a social activist cause or something else.

It’s far more likely that they were concerned about the reliability of the information provided to them and therefore Siggi’s reliability. Especially in light of all the charges laid against him by the Icelandic Police during the same time period, some of which were directly related to his impersonation of Assange.

There would also have been a huge risk that the FBI might have been perceived as colluding with Siggi's criminal activities where WikiLeaks and Assange were concerned. That is, the impersonations and fraud that Siggi was eventually convicted of.

If the FBI thought any of this information was actually credible or legally useful in building a case of Russian collusion or anything else against WikiLeaks or Julian Assange, they would have:

Continued to build their relationship with Siggi
Handed the information over to the Prosecutors for future use in a WikiLeaks / Julian Assange prosecution.
A leak would have been highly unlikely because BOTH would have had more to gain by NOT leaking it.

If the information was tainted and not useful in building the legal case against WikiLeaks, both the FBI and Siggi would have something to gain with it's release. The FBI could use their media connections to instigate a disinformation campaign and Siggi would have more notoriety and possibly some more cash in his pocket.

According to WikiLeaks (in the above screenshot) Scandinavian outlets also received the documents “years ago” and refused to publish them because they considered them untrustworthy. Therefore they would have no reason to release them now to other media.

All of that said, let's get back to the letter.

The AP article claims the following as evidence of it's “authentication”:

Metadata suggests that it was on Nov. 29, the day after the release of the first batch of U.S. State Department files, that the letter to the Russian Consulate was drafted on the Jessica Longley computer.

One of the former associates, an ex-employee, identified two of the names that frequently appeared in the documents’ metadata, “Jessica Longley” and “Jim Evans Mowing,” as pseudonyms assigned to two WikiLeaks laptops.

However, they neglect to mention that Siggi was working as a low level volunteer for WikiLeaks at the time and had access to their computers. That’s how he was able to get the data in the first place. Fabricating documents on WikiLeaks laptops would have been easy for him to do and he’s already been convicted of fraud for fabricating information in relation to Julian Assange.

Another problem with the AP authentication procedure is that we are expected to believe anonymous sources on the assumption they are telling the truth. They don’t appear to have provided any supporting evidence to back their claim that WikiLeaks laptops exist with those names.

As a result, we simply don’t know if they are being truthful, acting as disgruntled ex-employees on a vendetta, or acting as paid informants pushing a disinformation campaign. This makes their verification meaningless because there is no way for us to vet it independently.

The only real benefit to legitimate anonymous sources is they can point journalists and investigators in the right direction to getting the hard evidence they need to make a case. Their information also provides journalists with the background to ask the right questions when they’re probing an issue.

This was the contribution that anonymous source Deep Throat made in the 1960s which led to the Watergate scandal. In other words, Deep Throat was just the beginning of the process of collecting hard evidence to support his allegations independently and then to act on them. Nobody just took his word at face value.

Claiming one has authenticated a document based on “non-public details such as bank accounts, telephone numbers or airline tickets” is equally absurd because that information isn’t non-public in reality. Since Siggi was a low level volunteer for WikiLeaks, it’s precisely the type of information he could have had access to in order to fabricate the documents.

This kind of vetting is as absurd as the banks insisting that I provide my mother’s maiden name to identity myself as a “security” measure because it’s “non-public”. Everyone and their dog who knows me, knows my mother’s maiden name. I don’t use it. I give a fake maiden name for my mother.

In addition, where is the evidence that the laptops named “Jessica Longley” or “Jim Evans Mowing” have ever been used by Assange? Anything written by him would be on his own laptop and not on some random WikiLeaks laptop used by staff (that’s assuming the anonymous sources were being truthful and that WikiLeaks laptops with those names existed – we don’t actually know).

As a friend of mine pointed out, he could write a letter today, put Julian Assange’s name on it, send it to the FBI and/or the media, and it would have as much credibility as this one. Well, maybe a little more since he hasn’t done time in prison for impersonating Assange like Siggi has.

The end result is that all the metadata actually proves is that someone had access to laptops with those names, which may or may not have been WikiLeaks laptops. The only someone with demonstrable access to those particular laptops is Siggi.

The additional photocopy of the passport published with the letter in the Document Cloud is irrelevant since the point of the passport would simply be to verify whether there was a Russian Visa stamp on it dated November or December, 2010 and that isn’t visible.

AP’s note above the passport (scroll down to see it) states:

The following is a notarized copy of Assange's passport. The document was obtained by the AP separately from the letter to the Russian Consulate in London, but it is consistent with the letter's content.

If it was obtained separately, and all it is, is a notarized copy of the front page of Julian Assange’s passport, how is it consistent with the letters content? It wasn’t attached to the letter and by AP’s own admission, it was obtained separately from the letter. There is no information related to where it came from or what the evidentiary link to the letter might be. Again, we’re expected to just believe based on nothing but an assumption.

The fact that the date it was notarized is one month previous to the letter isn’t enough to confirm anything, especially given the facts that it did not come attached to the letter and the letter is not properly authenticated, signed or notarized.

People have copies of their passport notarized for any number of reasons.

All of that said, in the end and in my opinion, this entire drama is a smear campaign intended to lay the foundation for further false “Russian collusion” disinformation against WikiLeaks and Assange. When the Feds can’t make a legal case, jury by public opinion through mainstream media has become a last resort.

It’s called Manufacturing Consent (Noam Chomsky).

It’s a tempest in a teapot since even if it were true, so what? Going to Russia doesn’t automatically indicate collusion of any kind. If it was true, it might (but not necessarily) indicate he was trying to escape extradition to the US. So what? That’s why he asked for asylum.

You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know what the implications would be to Assange if the US succeeded in extraditing him. Injustice, torture and abuse of due process are the name of the game in the US Injustice System as Chelsea Manning, Reality Winner, Jeremy Hammond, Matt DeHart and numerous others can attest to first hand.

The implications to Press Freedoms would be even worse since WikiLeaks and Assange’s only “crime” was to publish leaked information, much of which exposed corruption and abuses of power at the highest levels. This was in the public interest and is a protected right under the US Constitution. SCOTUS legal precedent has established that protection extends to non-US citizens.

Jennifer Robinson, one of Julian Assange’s lawyer commented on the AP allegations and this particular document, pointing out that they could have easily been verified by contacting the UK authorities who still have Julian Assange’s passport or the Russian Embassy in the UK. His passport was confiscated by the UK on December 7, 2010. If it had a brand new Russian Visa attached to it, it’s unlikely they would have granted him bail and yet they did.

Ecuador pledged to not kick out Assange, but threat of US prosecution still serious – lawyer to RT

Common sense would also dictate that if Julian Assange had decided to get a Russian Visa, he would have done it through his lawyers and not some journalist, irrespective of whether that journalist is a friend or not. According to WikiLeaks, Shamir wasn’t a close friend. He was simply one of many journalists that had some access to some material in the WikiLeaks databases and nothing more.

It is false that Shamir is 'an Assange intimate'. He interviewed Assange (on behalf of Russian media), as have many journalists. He took a photo at that time and has only met with WikiLeaks staff (including Asssange) twice. -WikiLeaks

The only discussions that did occur regarding Russia, occurred in December, 2017, were between the Ecuadorian Embassy and Assange and were related to his diplomatic status. Assange was given diplomatic status by Ecuador in December 2017 and the Ecuadorians were proposing he be sent to Russia to act as Ecuador’s diplomatic representative in Moscow. Since the UK refused to recognize his diplomatic status that proposal became moot and did not involve any discussions with the Russians.

Craig Murray, in his recent Blog post, Extraordinary and Deliberate Lies from the Guardian dated September 23, 2018 and updated on September 24, 2018 made the following comment:

UPDATE One reason I was so stunned at the Guardian’s publication of these lies is that I had gone direct from the Ecuadorean Embassy to the Guardian building in Kings Cross to give an in-depth but off the record briefing to Euan MacAskill, perhaps their last journalist of real integrity, on the strategy for Julian. I told Euan that Russia was ruled out. I did not mention this yesterday as I greatly respect Euan and wanted to speak to him first. But on phoning the Guardian I find that Euan “retired” the day the lying article was published. That seems a very large coincidence.

Craig Murray, a former UK Diplomat, also states in the blog post that: “…Julian directly ruled out the possibility of going to Russia as undesirable…”.

In addition, the Russian Embassy released a statement on September 26, 2018 confirming WikiLeaks denial.

Now, I’m just curious… How is it possible that numerous professional journalists writing for numerous platforms…

Can be so eager and willing to accept what can only be described as an Orwellian narrative without question?
Are so willing to accept the word of completely anonymous sources making statements that not only cannot be independently verified but are openly and publicly contradicted by people who are both identified and in a position to know the facts?
Are so accepting of “facts” that can so easily be refuted?

I’ll leave it to those journalists writing the hit pieces to explore their own consciences and the reader to come to their own conclusions.

It isn’t rocket science and doesn’t require a genius IQ to see what's going on here.

The #Pursuance Project and #Anonymous

I love the concept of Anonymous (and WikiLeaks, Occupy, Idle No More). I’ve said this many times before but it’s worth repeating.

However, as a FreeThinker who bases her opinions on reason, logic and empirical evidence, I am forced to acknowledge that Anonymous does have a fundamental flaw.

That fundamental flaw also happens to be its’ greatest strength.

This is a dichotomy that exists in most, if not all, organic social structures.

While anonymity provides protection and security, it also opens activists up to infiltration by shady characters from state agencies and other disruptive elements. Given the type of dystopian technology available to the state, as well recent policies defining activists engaged in legitimate and legal dissent as ‘terrorists’, this fact poses a major threat to activists trying to invoke change.

Recent exposures by both the Snowden leaks (mass surveillance) and the WikiLeaks Vault 7 CIA leaks, which documented the tools used for both mass and targeted surveillance, are evidence of this reality we face, as activists, in this dystopian age.

So, how do we address this fundamental flaw which is also the greatest strength of Anonymous without throwing the baby out with the bathwater?

Barrett Brown has found a solution for Anonymous activists. It’s called the Pursuance Project.

How does the Pursuance Project address the fundamental flaw in Anonymous while still protecting its’ greatest strength, given that they are the same thing?

The solution is in the flexibility that Pursuance offers in terms of opacity or transparency of the overall Pursuance (Op) as well as in access controls to task management and information sharing. The creator of the Pursuance Op can be one person or a collective. The creator(s) can make it (or just certain parts of it) visible for recruiting purposes or completely invisible. For example, if the Op needs to recruit someone from outside their circle with special skills and providing that special skill will be their only role, it’s possible to keep most of the Op (the discussions, tasks, etc.) invisible to that outsider. The only tasks the outsider will see are those assigned to them and any segments of the Op that are public. It’s this flexible mix of options that is the real power source behind Pursuance.

While the concepts of mixed opacity/transparency and access control aren’t new, what is new is the structure, the platform that they are integrated into and how they are used in social activism. The platform is zero-knowledge. No-one, including the people running the platform will have access to Pursuances, their membership, tasks, etc. unless they are made public. The platform plus the concepts built into it reduce the risk of maintaining secret identities within high risk Ops and make that risk negligible.

The human element will always be a challenge because in the last few years state agencies have received billions of dollars in funding specifically for the purposes of engaging in cyberwarfare not only against other states but against their own populations.

Even with technology like Pursuance, in the end, only sound decisions by activists in regard to OpSec (whatever the platform) can protect them from the high level social engineering engaged in by state agencies. Social engineering like that described in JTRIG (UK-GCHQ) will require both sound technology and sound strategic and tactical planning by the activists themselves. The reality is that when the Pursuance Project goes public they will have no control over who joins, what Pursuances they join and what tasks they are assigned. In addition, the software is open source and there won’t be any control over who downloads it and creates their own Pursuance servers. All of this control will be handed off to the activists themselves, in the Pursuances they create and the private servers they create if they choose to.

Since 2012, a concerted effort has been made by those agencies to infiltrate groups like Anonymous, WikiLeaks, Occupy and Idle No More. Their main focus was to identify activists who are part of those networks and either through extortion or bribery or both, turn those once trusted activists into paid snitches. The informant communities associated with Anonymous, Occupy and Idle No More have grown immensely and we have seen huge disruptions in their campaigns, including arrests and individuals targeted for persecution. Recently the approach has changed. It isn’t about recruitment anymore, it’s about influence. The snitches are trying to expand into newer key networks and influence those networks on behalf of the feds.

It isn’t the first time they’ve done this. They learned a lot from their compromise of LulzSec. Jeremy Hammond referred to this when he made his statement during his trial. After Sabu was recruited (and others – he wasn’t the only snitch), his main role was to direct Anons into engaging in Ops the feds wanted them to engage in, including overseas Ops in the Middle East. This eventually resulted in Jeremy’s entrapment with the Stratfor hack which was organized by the feds. In the meantime, LulzSec continued to be completely fed-controlled until Sabu was exposed (they may still be since the other snitches have never been exposed).

WikiLeaks has been somewhat better at protecting themselves because they have already been following the concepts behind Pursuance. They just haven’t had an actual tool to ease the way. For them, involvement in Pursuance wouldn’t require a change in approach. They would simply have an integrated tool that was already designed and built with their approach in mind.

Occupy and Idle No More should seriously consider going Anonymous on the Pursuance Platform.

From The Shadows: Persecution Games, is Book 1 of a fictionalized memoir dedicated to the Whistleblowers and Hacktivists of the new Millennium. They are courageous people who have come forward, with conviction, to expose the systemic corruption that is the norm in our society. They have accomplished this through enforced transparency.

Corruption that is hidden under the guise of the alleged ‘need for secrecy’ and rationalized by the alleged ‘need to protect our citizenry from terrorism’ when in fact neither is necessary to the extent it is currently implemented. This is a climate where the people of the world have begun standing up to draconian new laws which are being passed. Laws which violate well established social norms, values and standards.

It is also one in which many of us, who in the past were forced to remain silent, can now come forward with our stories.

Thank you with all my heart to Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, Barrett Brown, Jacob Appelbaum, Aaron Swartz (deceased), Jeremy Hammond, and the many others who have stepped forward but haven’t been heard or who have stepped forward but continue to be unknown publicly at the time of this writing. More are being arrested, charged and convicted every year.

We owe you all a great debt of gratitude and hopefully your sacrifice will have been worth it if it results in existing laws being changed and new laws being enacted to protect and extend our democratic processes and citizens’ rights that many shed blood to establish in the West, particularly from abuse of power of the corrupt.

I’m sure there are many who are saying that the NSA’s extreme invasions of privacy are not that big a deal and that they will help protect the citizens from terrorism. The reality is that they haven’t accomplished that. They reality is that they ease the way for abuses like the ones that I’ve been subjected to all of my life simply because I was related to the wrong person and I came to the attention of a psychopath in or associated with CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service), who is also a member of the wealthy elite; who was allowed to abuse his power with impunity; and who continued to abuse his power with impunity after his retirement.

Since his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, his inner circle has continued on his behalf. An inner circle that includes corrupt family, and ‘friends’ consisting of people who were nobody’s in the 1970s and were elevated into positions of power by him and his family for the purposes of abusing their powers on his behalf. They continue even after his death on June 18, 2014. His game plan was psychopathic abuses of power simply because he was, in my opinion, a psychopathic sexual sadist and he enjoyed persecution and manipulation games. Their game plan is to protect their reputations and cover his and their criminal tracks. What they did to me, when they did it and what they continue to do is and was criminal whether he had an official relationship with CSIS or not and whether they have one or not. These draconian new laws make these types of criminal acts legal for anyone in numerous government agencies to do these things and get away with them under numerous rationalizations and justifications. Not the least of which includes the redefinition of the term, ‘terrorist’ and who it can be applied to.

The NSA claims that only 12 cases of abuse occurred in 2012. One article pointed out that ALL of those cases were self-reported by the abusers themselves.

How many cases like mine occurred that were not reported? We would never have any way of knowing. Not all abuses are going to occur with people who are close to the abuser.

What’s to stop a group of NSA agents from going on a vindictive campaign against anyone? All they would have to do is fabricate the right rationale even with oversight. After all, pretty much anyone who is critical of government policy in any way can now be defined as a ‘terrorist’.

We do have oversight in Canada and have had for years. All a rogue CSIS Intelligence Agent has to do to compromise that oversight is to have trusted connections on those committees in influential positions. This is what was done and continues to be done by this rogue agent in the past and now his cohorts who have been and continue to target me.

These new draconian laws and the redefinition of legitimate dissent as ‘terrorism’ by the power players, creates a very dangerous environment for the citizenry of the world in every country that they are being implemented in.

Now almost anyone can become a target based on specious rationalizations. All you have to do is say something critical about any government or corporate policy and no matter how minor it is, a rogue psychopath in these agencies could rationalize using agency resources to target you by putting you on their hit list.

It’s also important to remember that the events that occurred in this book (those which are true) initially occurred during a period when the technology was not as sophisticated as it is today and a great deal of resources were required to accomplish the aims this rogue CSIS Intelligence Agent wanted to accomplish.

Today, with the new technology that exists, supported by the draconian new laws which are being passed yearly, and enabled by what has become socially accepted corruption and abuse of power hidden by the alleged need for secrecy, those corrupt aims can be accomplished far more easily and far more damage can be done to those individuals targeted by this type of evil.

The opposite is also true. In many ways it’s also become easier to fight and expose this type of evil because of the technology we have available. However, this can only happen if people are aware of the problem and understand the dynamics. Armed with this knowledge we can make the technology work for us, instead of against us.

This is now being accomplished by those who are enforcing transparency and exposing corruption and abuses of power. This transparency is providing the impetus for the citizenry to oppose these draconian new laws and fight for laws which will protect us both as individuals as well as our democratic system and processes from the enemies within. These enemies within, in my opinion, would like to dismantle everything we have fought for and won since the days of the Industrial Revolution and take us back to the pre-Industrial Revolution era. This was an era of extreme exploitation and poverty for the majority and extreme entitlement and riches for the elite minority.

This is what the New Civil Rights movement is fighting and WikiLeaks, Anonymous, Occupy, Idle No More, and the new Independent, Alternative Media are in the forefront of this new movement. They are all critical to its success.

We live in dangerous times and I am writing my story because I don’t want to see what happened to me, happen to anyone else.

These draconian new laws make all of you potential targets and victims of this type of extreme corruption and abuse of power.

This story, my story is a warning call.

Please heed the warning for all of your sakes before it's too late.

A New Year and a New Era of Civil Rights

This blog post was originally posted on New Years Eve, 2012 for 2013. I believe that my comments are as relevant today as they were then, so I've decided that it's worth repeating my post this year. Hope you agree. In my opinion, humanity is standing on the precipice of something very significant, very new and as yet undefined. I believe that this New Civil Rights movement is the inspiration for the launch of the new. Added some additional points.

The last few years have been interesting ones for those of us who are paying attention to what is going on around us.

There has been a rising tide of mass movements around the world, the core demands of which have centered on rights irrespective of the political orientations of various groups, left, right or middle.

There has also been an opposing trend from the wealthy elites and the governments and states which they have purchased through corruption and the undermining of democratic processes. This trend has focused on repressive legislations, violent suppression of and criminalization of legitimate dissent and dissenters as well as criminal collusion between government and corporations to rob the taxpayer.

Robert F. Kennedy once said:

“It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a [person] stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope.”

American history is resplendent with great men and women who provided this type of inspiration to their populace and encouraged every man and woman to stand up against tyranny and injustice. The Constitution was designed to ensure the will of the people over-rode the will of the government or political, social, corporate elites.

The European Rationalists from the historic Age of Reason: Locke, Voltaire, Rousseau, Newton stood on the shoulders of the great Greek rational thinkers of ancient times and had much in common with Carvaka, an Indian atheist and materialist philosopher from the 7th century BCE.

Inspired by the Rationalists came Americans like Thomas Paine who in turn inspired the American Revolution and Americas Founding Fathers.

It’s on the shoulders of people like these great men and women of the past, that the 1960s civil rights movement was born and now this new era of Civil Rights has been born.

It’s those who have taken up the new flag of liberty that has been handed to them from those echoes of our past that are the strength and foundation of the Civil Rights era of the new millennium. People like Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Jacob Appelbaum, Bradley Manning, Barrett Brown, Anonymous, WikiLeaks, Occupy, Idle No More and many others.

Not all on the list are known individuals. Some are nameless, faceless, and leaderless and this has become a key and component part of this New Civil Rights era.

Perhaps that’s because we learned not to idolize individuals or perhaps it’s because we know that our leaders will be targeted to destroy and disrupt our mass movements.

It doesn’t really matter why this new type of mass movement came into being except perhaps to some Ivory Tower academics.

What matters is that it has happened and with it has come the concept that it’s the issues not the political spectrum one belongs to that matters. This is the second key and component part of this New Civil Rights era.

The issues were nicely outlined in the recent CypherPunks book, CypherPunks: Freedom and the Future of the Internet by Julian Assange with Jacob Appelbaum, Andy Muller-Maguhn and Jeremie Zimmermann.

While segments of all of these movements push for specific interests, all of their causes and issues whether they are environmental, social, etc. can be boiled down to issues of Freedom and Civil Rights, when one examines why these problems are occurring. The specifics of this are for another blog post.

There are two aspects to this battle:

Legitimate dissent, that is the promotion of these issues and the lobby/public pressure for solutions
The right to engage in this legitimate dissent

Both aspects are under attack by the Corporacrats/wealthy elites and the governments/states that they have purchased through treasonous (dictionary not legal definition) means like buying politicians and political parties as well as undermining democratic processes and our Constitutions around the globe.

Now, I can’t speak for anyone else but I consider active interference in elections (like that which Hillary Clinton engaged as demonstrated by her emails) to get certain people or parties elected an attempt to “overthrow the government”. I think one “betrays one’s country” when one advocates for and represents special interests (both internal and external) at the expense of the Canadian people and when one is elected for the purpose of representing the Canadian people. It’s also fraudulent misrepresentation. I consider this a criminal act and those who engage in this should not be above the law simply because they are members of the wealthy elite or corporatocracy or have been bought by them.

In fact, I would like to see the legal definition of Treason changed around the world, to one that is along the same lines as the dictionary definition.

So, we are walking into an era which is marked by the treasonous overthrow of numerous governments by people who are betraying our countries with impunity and using those illegal governments that they purchased to suppress legitimate dissent which is drawing attention to the other criminal acts being committed against us.

Criminal acts such as stealing billions of dollars of hard-earned tax payer funds to line the pockets of the corporate/wealthy elites in the form of corporate welfare, while impoverishing the tax payers further through the theft of funds from the social safety net and pensions; allowing the corporacrats and wealthy elites to rob the tax payer by engaging in billions of dollars worth of tax evasion with impunity; State/government criminal collusion with the corporatocracy to manipulate the economy, banks, etc. with impunity; inteference in the financial matters of citizens on the false grounds that everyone is a potential terrorist/criminal; illegal and criminal invasions into and the disruption of the lives of innocent citizens; etc. etc. etc.

Of course the corporatocracy wants to prevent legitimate dissent and exposure of these criminal acts. The only way they can do that is to ensure that the governments/states that they have bought and paid for implement repressive measures on the false grounds of terrorism and use those false grounds to silence those voices of dissent through both legal and illegal means. Much like they did during the COINTEL PRO (US) and RCMP Red Squad wrongdoings (Canada) eras. The strategies developed by these corrupt programs are being reintroduced again.

This was most obvious during the G8/G20 Summits in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and the actions taken against demonstrators there as well as the treatment of Occupiers in Oakland, California, US.

Whether one agreed with the demonstrators or not, the violations of civil rights committed by JIG (Joint Investigations Group) and the Provincial Liberals, under the authority of the Canadian State and those committed by the Oakland Police/FBI under the authority of the American state, were shocking to say the least and reminiscent of a fascist police state.

The detention of at least one member of the US Military on false claims of alleged “mental illness” for simply writing a rational and coherent statement of dissent shows that our states/governments are sinking to new lows and showing more than just one sign of moving towards open world-wide fascism.

The treatments of Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Jeremy Hammond, Aaron Schwartz, Bradley Manning, Barrett Brown, et al (the list grows longer by the day) by various governments indicates an International criminal collusion of fascism and highlights the fact that these are global and not regional issues.

The apparently coordinated efforts to pass legislation similar to the NDAA and SOPA/ACTA in numerous countries around the world as well as at the international level (TPP/TISA) are also an indication that this is a global issue and not a regional one.

The malicious persecution of hundreds of thousands of innocent individuals around the globe some of whom are whistle-blowers, social activists, inventors and many of whom are people who have no idea why they’ve been targeted for this abuse is another sign.

The strategies used in these cases are ones that were developed by organizations like the German Stasi and the KKK. They have been updated and refined by organizations like Palantir, HBGary, etc. This is the case no matter what methods are used involving illegal acts by corporations producing these often experimental technologies involving intentional medical malpractice and murder by physicians and sometimes other parts of the health system, psyops involving intentional psychiatric malpractice by psychiatrists, gaslighting, disinformation and smear campaigns often involving illegal and criminal acts by state personnel, civil servants, elected officials, etc. and much more. The medical, psychiatric personnel and public servants engaging in these activities as well as torture in places like Guantanomo are violating their ethics and responsibility towards citizens.

These are the reasons that this New Civil Rights era was born and these are the reasons why the momentum is increasing despite the attempts to suppress this legitimate dissent through both fear and legislation.

Robert F. Kennedy also said:

“A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people. “

“The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission. “

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”

I don’t doubt for one second that the corporatocracy sees legitimate dissent, constitutional restrictions, and democratic structures as terrorist threats since they certainly are a threat to their corruption and ability to engage in the commission of crimes with impunity.

However, it’s far more accurate to say that the corporatocracy itself is treasonous and they should be held accountable for that and their other criminal acts.

To the governments, corporacrats and wealthy elites of the world:

The people of the world are saying: “Expect us. We are not afraid. You should be.”

The CypherPunks are saying: We want “privacy for the powerless, transparency for the powerful.”

And I’m saying: I want “transparency of the state, corporations and wealthy elites; privacy for the people; accountability and justice for everyone and no-one is above the law.”

We all have much in common irrespective of our political, social, cultural, religious beliefs and that is what this new era of Civil Rights is all about.

Organized Stalking

Organized Stalking, the dirty little secret that everyone knows about but no-one wants to talk about or do anything about.

Why? Because it’s easier for Canadians, the Canadian media, Canadian politicians, government officials, police and intelligence agencies, social organizations, corporations, professionals, etc., to stick their heads in the sand, than it is to face ugly truths about how corrupt our society has become in so many ways and to take a strong stand against that corruption.

It’s also easier to “Go along in order to get along”.

The attitudes displayed remind me of the three monkeys: "Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil" even though the evil is staring them in the face and many are actively colluding with it.

So, when one complains about Organized Stalking in Canada, instead of receiving the desperately needed assistance and compassion, the questions that come up are:

“What did you do to cause this person or group to stalk you?” “Why would someone do that to you?You're a nobody. Why would anyone bother to go to such extreme lengths to persecute you?” Or, “You must be delusional.”

Essentially blaming the victim for the crime. We must have incited someone to stalk us or we're just nuts. Either way it's our fault.

Frankly, that’s a little like asking a person, what they did to cause someone to abuse or rape them, isn’t it?

Or, asking a person why a Serial Killer would try to murder them.

Or, a little like telling a child who is the victim of child abuse or child sexual abuse, that they must just be imagining things?

The victim of a crime doesn’t have to know why the crime is occurring in order to determine that it is occurring. Nor, is it our responsibility to know or explain why.

It’s the job of the State to investigate and provide those answers and the best source for the answer to the question, Why? is the criminal who is committing the crime.

The State is shirking their duty where the victims of Organized Stalking are concerned, effectively enabling the crime.

And just to rub salt in the wound, it’s the victims who are under threat of being illegally and wrongly assumed to be mentally ill by those who refuse to investigate the crime and then illegally and wrongly declared mentally ill without any investigation of the crime or it’s demonstrably mentally ill perpetrators who continue to engage in their criminal acts for years on end with impunity.

When we stand up for ourselves and expose these crimes publicly, we are also and often falsely accused of stalking our stalkers. This is a common and well documented strategy of stalkers and one well known to the psychiatric profession.

Ironically, most victims of Organized Stalking have far more evidence to support our claims that we are being stalked and maliciously persecuted, than the stalkers have to support their rumor-mongering that we allegedly suffer from some mental illness.

More often than not, the stalkers "evidence" wouldn't pass muster in any basic critical thinking class so why does it pass courtroom and police scrutiny? It doesn't. It's simply accepted as fact without any foundation. That is, there is no scrutiny of the facts by the courts or the police. And therein lies the problem.

Without any scrutiny of the facts, it's easy for the police, doctors, and psychologists to simply assert that claims of Organized Stalking are indications of mental illness, despite the fact that there isn't a single research study supporting such a specious claim and despite the fact that there are numerous research studies which indicate that stalkers not only engage in the exact behavior described by Organized Stalking victims, frequently go to extreme lengths to persecute someone and/or cover up their behavior, and are demonstrably mentally ill to varying degrees.

The traditional media has also become one of the worst abusers of the Organized Stalking victim. Why? Because their attitudes range from completely ignoring the problem to blaming the victims to making a joke out of the issue.

Perhaps I'm being unfair to the Media here, and if I am I'll stand corrected.

However, I have seen very little published that deals with this issue seriously and compassionately and what I have seen has come from the Alternative Media: Exposing The Invisible Terror of Stalking In Indian Country, not the Traditional Media.

One comment I made in the National Post recently, in relation to Timothy Taylor’s article, “When Research Goes Weird”, and directed to the following paragraph at the end of the article, appears to have been censored by the National Post.

There was no swearing or otherwise rude language and no personal attacks in my censored comment. Just a general criticism of how the media and journalists, including Investigative journalists appear to prefer to write about fluff rather than serious issues like Organized Stalking as well as a criticism of the attitude displayed in the following quote.

“So I came across this bit of cultural strangeness and went down the research rabbit hole for a while (Google away, my friends. It’s a de-eep rabbit hole.) I watched endless videos and read literally hundreds of pages of allegations. I even talked to the single mainstream journalist I could find who’d published a story on the topic. She told me that, yes, the whole thing was too weird to take seriously, but that during her interview with the person she was profiling, men with black ball caps had indeed come into the restaurant where she and the subject were sitting. Later, they followed them out. And still later, driving the subject home, the journalist reported, they then saw every one of the vehicles that the subject had predicted they would see, writing the license plate numbers down in advance.”

On the one hand you have a reporter stating that the topic of Organized Stalking was “too weird to take seriously” while admitting that everything the stalking victim had said would occur, did actually occur right in front of the reporters face.

What, in this journalists mind, would be required to take these claims seriously? One can only imagine. Clearly seeing doesn’t amount to believing in her case and since when is “weirdness” a reason not to take something seriously. Russell Williams was pretty weird. Thank goodness the OPP didn’t display this reporters attitude when investigating that case.

Wikipedia has quite a good article on Stalking for anyone interested in understanding the basics of the problem.

Organized Stalking is basically Stalking on Steriods. That is, it’s stalking at it’s most extreme.

Organized stalking involves large, often well-financed, structured groups of people who are usually trained in methods of:

disinformation;
inciting hatred;
organizing group action in the community, work place, or any other place where the stalking victim might go, based on inciting hatred;
as well as methods of psychological abuse amounting to psychological torture.

Amongst other things.

It has been demonstrably proven that technology like implanted RFID chips (James Walbert case) has been used to monitor and abuse Organized Stalking victims. Walbert's allegations are supported by qualified professional in various fields as well as a state Senator. He also has supporting documentation (MRI tests, etc.) to prove his allegations.

Unethical Private Investigation Agencies or individual Investigators are often active paid participants.

Organized Stalking is the systematic destruction of a person and that persons life, personally, professionally and financially, by that structured group.

Due to the extensive and expensive nature of this type of stalking it is exclusive to a small minority of wealthy, well-connected individuals, members of the wealthy elite, or organizations, who have the resources to fly under the radar and cover their tracks. Although smaller groups of the more garden variety stalkers appear to be starting to use these techniques as well.

Yes. When the activity is described it sounds insane and raises the question, Why would anyone be crazy enough to do this stuff? Especially a member of the wealthy elite? It doesn’t make sense.

This is true. This behaviour doesn’t make sense. But why doesn’t it make sense?

It doesn’t make sense because the people who come up with these particular types of strategies are mentally ill to some degree. Some more than others. This is a fact recognized by the field of Psychiatry through it’s behavioural profiling and diagnosis of stalkers.

Organized Stalking is an indicator of mental illness in those who engage in it. That is, it is an indicator of mental illness in the Stalkers not their victims. And in some cases, seriously psychotic mental illness. This is why the behavior that the victim of this crime describes as having occurred is so extreme and bizarre that it's often unbelievable. This is why the claims appear to be so extraordinary.

Those creating these groups may well have agendas that they are implementing. However, at this time, and without more information there is no way for us to determine what those agendas might be, if they do exist.

What we do know is that Organized Stalking does occur and far more often than most people realize. This is a documented fact and recognized by at least some police forces in the US as the Bullying on Steriods video demonstrates.

How do the Organized Stalkers manage to get entire communities involved in engaging in this hate based crime? It’s not as hard as one might think, as these two videos demonstrate.

In the first one the person recruited her personal social circle to back her when she initiated a “mom and apple pie” style frame up against the male stalking victim:

1. Another Example Of Organized Stalking In Action.

If this guy hadn’t had a video camera monitoring his front yard, he would have been arrested based on the lies told by his neighbor and supported by a large group of her friends who also lied by claiming to have been eye witnesses to an incident that had been fabricated by their friend and hadn’t occurred.

Much like all of the falsehoods currently appearing in my e-Health medical file which are based on complete fabrications of non-existent incidents and the staff at the clinics are backing up each others falsehoods by fabricating similar incident reports. Bribing and offering favors to corrupt individuals in the medical community and other professional and business communities is the only way that this wealthy, well-connected stalker can support a false claim that I'm "mentally ill". So his lame attempts to shut me up about his and his wife's criminal acts are failing. Such a claim, like the lies told by the woman and her friends in the video, cannot be supported factually. It can only be supported by rumor mongering and fabricated "evidence".

2. Listen To A Stranger

This one is particularly enlightening. A TV Station crew visited a Shopping Mall in the US, had their staff impersonating Federal Agents and Bounty Hunters using fake badges, and asked ordinary shoppers to commit criminal acts like stealing a woman’s purse, putting “drugs” in a woman’s drink, and kidnapping an infant.

All of the shoppers did as asked and not one brought up the point that it was illegal for police officers to ask citizens to commit a criminal act nor did anyone question their identity after seeing the badges purchased from a costume outlet.

I have been subjected to many of these things by these wealthy well-connected stalkers. If a bribe is offered in conjunction to the above it's surprisingly easy to get members of the community to go along with these criminal acts.

In fact, Organized Stalking was precisely the type of unethical and illegal activity that HBGary was proposing to initiate against Julian Assange and Wikileaks before they were caught red-handed by Anonymous. Jacob Appelbaum, also associated with Wikileaks, has become a target of this activity. Interviews with him where he describes the types of harassment he experiences are consistent with Organized Stalking.

It is also the type of unethical and illegal activity that Kevin Annett has been targeted with most of his life (since the 1970s) after he exposed the United Church, other Churches and the Government complicity involved in the horrific genocide, torture and abuse of First Nations children in Canada. Most notably, last year, when he was framed by rogue and mercenary members of the RCMP E-Division. He has documented testimony from the participants of the frame-up to support this claim.

Ex-wives of wealthy well-connected men have also been targeted in this way.

Mary Lou Hoerster is one. Mary Lou, has shown that her ex-husband, a Doctor, has demonstrable ties to the Bush family and has been able to stalk her with complete impunity as well as police and community criminal collusion in the small Texas town where she lives. A town where her husband grew up and is personal friends with the Police Chief.

Another woman’s ex-husband appears to have ties with Organized crime and she was told by a Lawyer, that she had better shut up about her son who was kidnapped by these criminals because she was taking on some powerful people and no lawyer in her state was going to be able to help her.

Well known (in the 1990s) Hollywood Actor, Stephen Shellen has had his career destroyed and was told the same thing by a leading Executive of a Canadian RFID / Data Center company whom he knew. This Executive also happens to be a Lawyer. That is, the Actor was told to shut up about what was happening to his children (suspected child abuse and child sexual abuse from the actors ex-marital partners’ associates) when he lost custody of them while trying to protect them.

Randy Quaid’s story is a perfect example of the very bad attitude that the media displays towards the victims of Organized Stalking. The Canadian media has turned his story into some sort of inside joke instead of actually investigating it to determine if it has merit.

A brief Google search on Mr. Quaid pulls up some interesting information that lends credibility to his claims and provides a possible motivation – revenge stalking. Quaid had sued a large movie company in 2006. In 2008, the stalking and malicious persecution began.

And then there are the stalkers who are Psychopaths and who engage in Predatory Organized Stalking, often including sexually sadistic overtones. This particularly nasty breed of deranged stalker acts based on personal obsessions, persecutory delusions, and delusions of personal grandeur (narcissism).

This type is also attracted to professions which give them power and authority which they can abuse to further their own agendas like high level Government/Political positions, Intelligence agencies, Police forces, and the Military as well as professions like the medical, accounting and legal professions.

The ones in this category who are wealthy and well-connected are in a particularly good position to engage in corruption and abuse of power while abusing the trust of their wealthy connections.

The one who has been stalking me since I was 16 years old is, in my opinion, from this breed of predatory psychopathic stalker.

Predatory Stalkers don’t have to know their victims and usually don’t. Those they victimize simply fit a particular physical, psychological, behavioural or other profile which attracts their attention. It’s this group which victims of stalking frequently can’t identify. It took me over 30 years to identify mine and only because he made a mistake based on his arrogance and perceived impunity.

Nearly 15% of the victims of stalking don’t know who is stalking them or why. As a result there are numerous hypotheses out there on the Internet regarding who and why. Ranging from the secret (and illegal) continuation of programs related to MKUltra and COINTELPRO to NWO conspiracy theories.

It’s also this group that likes to engage in Corruption and Abuse of Power and could well be implementing agendas which only they or their small circle of partners in crime are aware of. Particularly if they're wealthy and well-connected like mine is.

While none of us really know for sure why we are being victimized in this way, and most don't know who is instigating it, the reality that Psychopaths have held and continue to hold power and/or influence in high places is an inescapable one:

“Late in June, 1972, Dr. Gottlieb [Head of MKUltra] had jigged back and forth on the carpet of the Director’s office, and his carefully controlled stammer had surfaced as he enthused, that, at long, long last, here was the answer to mind-control; that ESB (electrical stimulation of the brain) was the key to creating not only a ‘psycho-civilized’ person but also an entire ‘psycho-civilized’ society: a world where every human thought, emotion, sensation, and desire could actually be controlled by electrical stimulation of the brain.”

“Adapting that already frightening vision of tomorrow’s world formed part of ORD’s concept of the New Jerusalem of Intelligence.”

Organized Stalking involves four basic steps, as outlined by David Lawson, the author of Cause Stalking and a licensed Private Investigator who infiltrated an Organized Stalking ring that was operating along the East Coast of Canada and the US in the 1990s. Numerous people on the Internet who I have had direct and indirect contact with confirm the following. My own personal experience also confirms the following.

1. Identify. Violating the person’s privacy.

This involves monitoring the person constantly through numerous and often illegal means. The purpose of this is to collect as much information about the person, his/her activities and connections (social, professional, business, etc.) as is humanly and technologically possible.

2. Vilify. Using the information collected to spread disinformation about the person based on the information collected to give it credibility.

This involves the spreading of malicious rumours, blatant lies, and very perverse, ugly, negative spins on what would otherwise be considered perfectly normal and acceptable behaviours. The purpose of this it to isolate the person from any potential sources of help; to recruit as many other people as possible to participate in the stalking campaign, incite as much hatred as possible, and to lay the groundwork for the next step.

3. Nullify. Either frame or set the person up (repeatedly, and as necessary). That is, as soon as the community gets over one frame up another one is engineered to keep the hate in the community going against the person. Since the person is isolated they can’t defend themselves and their side of the story never gets out into the community or the workplace or any other associations the person has. Since those communities have been convinced that they are dealing with some evil person the outrage grows with each frame up and is less and less likely to be forgotten.

Once the community has been incited into a frothy rage they can then be incited to maliciously persecute and assault the target in numerous ways including poisonings, physical and sexual assaults of the person including druggings, vandalizing their property amongst other things. Recruiting medical "professionals" to tamper with medical records laying the groundwork for an unnecessary psychiatric evaluation on false grounds, other types of medical abuse, and providing numerous false incident/complaint reports from the community to shore up the lie. Recruiting any organization which retains incident reports to create false reports about the target or have members of the community file false incident reports. Due to the widespread malicious smears and rumors, it frequently becomes impossible for the target to get proper service from any business which will over-charge and/or not provide the service paid for. If the target complains a false incident report is filed which grossly exaggerates the incident and attempts to make the target look crazy whether the target was calm and reasonable while presenting their concern or not.

The purpose of this, of course, is to thoroughly destroy the personal and professional reputation of the person and maintain a hostile and hate-filled environment which the person is forced to endure.

If you've been a target for years like I have, these steps will reiterate repeatedly until the End Game as follows is achieved.

4. The End Game: Destroy. Force the person into a complete mental and/or physical collapse so that they will:

a. Become suicidal so that the stalking group can either set them up to kill themselves or they can be killed by the stalking group making it look like suicide.

Or,

b. Require psychiatric or psychological intervention. Such interventions, with the help of the stalking group will result in a diagnosis of schizophrenia and the person being committed and therefore completely discredited.

Or,

c. Require medical intervention. This type of intervention allows the stalking group to engage in many different types of abuses through bribed doctors and other medical professionals. The person's activities are easily controlled and in the end game, the person can become the victim of medical murder. Only a doctor can kill a person and make it difficult to find any evidence of a murder.

The purpose of this is to cover up the activities of the stalking group.

A discredited victim is not going to be believed and their claims will be attributed to "mental illness".

A dead victim is a silenced victim and psychopathic stalkers aren't above committing murder while making it look like suicide, an isolated attack, or even commit medical murder with the criminal collusion of corrupt medical professionals.

Since the goal of the End Game is to destroy the person by pushing them into having a complete mental and/or physical breakdown, almost all of the activities in Steps 1, 2, and 3 are done in such a way that if they are reported they will result in the conclusion that the person is schizophrenic or suffers from some other organic, incurable mental or physical illness which requires that the person be committed or hospitalized. Once committed or hospitalized, the target is at the mercy of the doctors and other medical professionals bribed by stalking gang and any abuses including death can occur at their hands.

This process can and does involve things like Mansonesque “creepy, crawly” games when breaking in to the victims home; gaslighting in the community and the work place; changing/placing false information in government records, medical records and official reports; filing numerous false, anonymous complaints against the victim; revising police statements and records among many other illegal and criminal activities as well as fabricating criminal records.

The fabrication of a criminal records results in limiting the persons ability to find employment, travel freely as well as place many other limitations on the person and do so often without their knowledge.

The purpose of falsifying medical records is to open the door for the medical abuse of the patient involving botched or unnecessary surgeries, misdiagnoses that allow for maltreatment of the real medical issues the target may have, or intentionally making the target ill and keeping them so sick that it's difficult for them to function actively in their communities and work places. When the last method is used, the medical reports are falsified to claim that the target is healthy and the issues are allegedly 'psychological'. This method is also used to get those people out of the way who won't cooperate with the stalking gang so that they can be replaced by bribed people who will.

The only thing that will happen if a person moves from one place to another is that Step 1 restarts in the new community and the other steps will continue in the old community. Once the community realizes the person has moved, and only then, the frame ups in the new community will become rumours in the old community. Until that time, the frame ups will occur in the old community using impersonators/dopplegangers.

This makes the Organized Stalking rings’ case even stronger because they can now argue that the person is hated everywhere and for the same reasons therefore their pathological lies which generated the hate in the first place must be true.

Underlying all of these steps is the daily and ongoing psychological, medical, social, and physical abuse of the person.

As I stated before, groups which engage in Organized Stalking are led, financed and set up by wealthy and well-connected individuals or organized groups which are well-financed. The process is too extensive, time-consuming, and resource heavy for it to be otherwise.

And in many cases, there is active collusion with mercenary individuals in the police, government, private corporations, professionals, etc. who are being bribed with cash or favours to participate and incited into participating based on nothing more than pathological lies intended to incite hatred against the person who is being stalked.

The two lies most commonly spread about me (amongst many others) for the sole purpose of inciting that hatred are that I am purportedly "antisemitic" and/or a "terrorist".

With the first lie the Stalkers take advantage of the fact that it is not commonly known that I have Jewish relatives nor that my position on the Middle East is that I support a two state solution.

The second lie is based on discrediting me by association because I have left wing relatives. The fact that I am not left wing and have a very different belief system to them is obfuscated or deflected in order to discredit me simply because of their beliefs.

I think that these Organized Stalking rings and their leaders are known amongst the wealthy elite circles for exactly what and who they are and what they do. I also think that groups like the one organized by my stalker are used by the wealthy and well-connected, big corporations and others to deal with people they have a problem with for any number of reasons, or, in the case of my stalker, no reason at all other than he can and that he's a deranged psychopath.

If they weren’t, we wouldn’t have Lawyers telling us to shut up, purportedly for our own good, because we purportedly won’t get anywhere because we are taking on powerful people.

So, I have to ask, What happened to due process and the right of every citizen, wealthy or poor, to equal treatment under the law?

Has our Democracy been so eroded and undermined that those who are both corrupt and wealthy can not only interfere with and abuse the democratic process to further criminal agendas but are above the law when they do it?

I've been watching 3rd wave feminism and the havoc it has wreaked in the last few years with dismay. It reminds me of an out of control toddler.

It truly breaks my heart to see the issue of womens' rights, an issue that has always been very close to my heart, turned into one of shallow bigotry against men, hatred against anyone who disagrees, and whining, bitching and moaning over the most absurd of issues (manspreading? seriously?) like children running to the mommy / daddy state and begging for support. When the support doesn't come the usual temper tantrum ensues.

The 3rd wave doesn't understand the concept of rights, especially women's rights and the role that concept plays in society in general. They seem to see it as a means to brow beat and abuse those they don't like (especially if they're male) or to support self-serving goals/agendas. They also don't understand how to achieve rights.

It just makes me shake my head.

And then I realize, it's my fault. It's the fault of my generation of women's rights activists. The 2d wave.

We did this to our daughters because we didn't teach them the most important aspects of women's rights.

We didn't teach our daughters that:

1. Women's rights are directly connected to Human Rights, to Civil Rights. Our rights must exist within that context. They cannot exist independent of that or they become Special Rights, the rights of a privileged (or underprivileged) group. Gaining rights for ourselves by taking away the rights of others benefits the divide and rule game of the elites and not us. The 2d wave fought for women's rights as well as the rights of the disadvantaged, the poor, the children.

2. Men are our allies in our fight for women's rights. Not our enemies. They are not our problem. Any state/government which diminishes our rights and freedoms is the problem. We should be focusing our attention on them and the numerous ways that they are removing ALL of our rights as well as those rights specific to women such as the right to control our bodies.

3. a. Rights are not given to us not matter how much we beg, stomp our feet or scream about it. Protest, screaming out on the Internet, writing blogs, doing any of these things by themselves accomplishes little or sometimes it accomplishes the wrong things.

3. b. Rights are won. They are won through organized systematic community-based actions. They are won by organizing at the grass roots level (online and IRL), helping people to understand the issues and why they matter and winning their hearts and support. They are not won by brow-beating those potential allies into submission using trite PC phrases, irrational arguments and initiating hate campaigns and deceptions against them when they dare to disagree. Patience, tolerance, understanding the issues, having open rational discussions is what wins us allies.

4. As strong women, we must assert ourselves, assert our rights, and act to defend them in both the legal arena and society at large or, in the case of anarchists, in an appropriate way that fits into your belief system. I'm not an anarchist so I don't know what that would be. The main point, irrespective of belief systems, is that if we don't act, then any problems that result are on us. No-one else. We have to shoulder that responsibility. Passivity, going along, accepting discriminatory and harassing environments without taking action is what the 2d wave fought hard against. As women, we are not weak, passive creatures and victims of happenstance. We have to act and in order to do that we have to take our strength, assert it, and never back down when we are acting to defend our rights. The blame game is simply a means to avoid taking a stand and rationalizing our own inaction. It's a way of avoiding responsibility.

The job of the 3d wave was easy at the beginning of the new millennium. All you had to do was defend and protect the rights that the 2d wave fought for and won. You didn't do your job because we didn't teach you what needed to be done. We assumed you knew. Of course, as the old saying goes, assuming things makes an 'ass' out of you and me. It certainly has done that in spades.

Now, today, in 2016, thanks to our Whistleblowers, we are seeing terrible erosions of rights. Erosions that impact everyone including in the areas of women's rights. As women, we are losing the right to control our bodies such as weakening of or elimination of abortion laws. The laws such as sexual harassment as well as labor laws are becoming ineffective because people (men and women) are not asserting their rights. There are many reasons for this including the fact that it's gradually becoming more difficult to do. Especially for the poor who don't have the means or resources to hire lawyers and assert their rights in the courts.

We are ALL responsible for that. For taking our rights for granted and for not acting to defend them.

What is a Universal Basic Income?

Everyone, irrespective of need or income, gets a cheque of the same amount (working or not and including the 1% wealthy elite and upper middle classes - 150K+). This is pointless, expensive and unsustainable. Why?

Less money goes to the impoverished. Current proposals (like Finland) actually reduce the income and benefits which those living in poverty currently receive, while putting additional money in the hands of those who don't need it and will NOT spend it on goods and services. Therefore there is no boost to the economy because the poor are still living at the subsistence level with even more hardship.

What is a Guaranteed Basic Income?

Those below a LIVING income level are the only ones who receive it and it's graduated as you reach the living income level. Everyone is eligible to receive it but only those who qualify by being below the set income rate receive it.

$40K in Toronto, Canada, where I live would restore a persons purchasing power to what we had in the 1950s with a minimum wage. This results in the money paid out, being spent on goods and services which is what the economy needs in order to restore itself.

The entire welfare system could be scrapped. The money is guaranteed based on income level which could be administered by the Tax departments since it's only a question of sending out a cheque based on current income. This alone would result in huge savings making money available for the BGI.

Full benefits such as health, prescription, eye and dental care could now be provided for free to BGI recipients as well as a tax free status because that would also be affordable and it would maintain and enhance the social service benefits people currently get.

THIS design is affordable, will put money in the hands of the people who actually need it which will result in a boost to the economy especially if the taxes are increased on the Corporations and the wealthy elites.

Those Trillions currently in offshore bank accounts are not contributing anything to the economy.

To those who think the poor are lazy and greedy and 'will take advantage', let me just say that the Welfare Fraud rate in my province of Ontario is 4% while over 60% of Corporations in Ontario have either not paid tax by 'taking advantage' of tax law grey areas, evaded paying taxes owed, or engaged in tax fraud. How could this possibly occur without the active collusion of the provincial and federal government? Now tell me again who the lazy, greedy, fraudsters are. The facts speak for themselves.

In addition, an experiment was conducted in Canada in one town where people received the GBI for 5 years. This experiment was successful, and there was no indication of any problems of 'laziness and greed.' This is just another reason why this payment should NOT be Universal but rather targeted to those living in poverty and raising their income to a living income with benefits and a tax free status.

The entire point of this program is to solve the problem of economic inequality and kick start economies by providing the poor with additional purchasing power.

Someone described it as a Trickle Up effect. The GBI design I have described will have this effect and address this problem. The Trickle Up effect offers a real benefit to the corporations as long as they don't gouge. Allowing corporate gouging will eliminate any benefit over the longer term and we'll end up right back to where we are today.

A UBI will do nothing to solve either the problem of income inequality or increasing the purchase of goods and service. However, MSM, the politicians, and their Corporate masters can all pat themselves on the back and talk about how they tried but they can't continue because it doesn't work, is unaffordable, and unsustainable. This, of course, is something we already know and it isn't what people have been asking for. It's the MSM and Politicians spin on it as well as various economists. You know, the ones that used the Trickle Down nonsense to justify the creation of the corporate welfare bum scam of handing out billions of taxpayer dollars.

Given the demonstrated, repeated problem with Corporate Gouging (price increases based on 'what the market will bear' rather than what is a reasonable profit margin will become a problem which will also need to be addressed to avoid inflationary costs in the areas of food, clothing, transportation and shelter.

This could be addressed by establishing regulations on how prices are set. Or, it could be addressed by tying increases in the GBI directly to price increases in food, clothing, shelter, and transportation only. Those are the prices that will have the greatest impact on the purchasing power of those receiving the GBI. If increases in those prices are directly reflected in increases to the GBI any damage from greedy corporate gouging can be mitigated in those key areas. Tying increases to COLA or general inflation are useless because those rates are usually much lower than the real inflation experienced by those whose purchasing power is low in the first place. We've seen the result of this already. None of our social services benefits, pensions, etc. have kept up with increases in those critical areas and that's been a huge part of the problem.

In the 1950s, the Corporations and wealthy elites paid 90% of their income in taxes and lived extravagant and luxurious life styles. That tax rate level didn't hurt them. They now pay far less, if anything and have become Corporate Welfare Bums receiving billions in handouts paid from the taxpayer purse. They no longer need to run competitive, productive companies which offer quality goods and services.

In addition, it was this tax money we used to provide tax payer services, social services, education, health, etc. and build our infrastructure and maintain it. It's this tax money we've lost which is resulting in the crumbling of our infrastructure today, the creation of fee-based taxpayer services, draconian cuts in social services, education, health, etc. Increasing the taxes on the Corporations and wealthy elites will also allow us to restore those services and rebuild this aging infrastructure, which will provide jobs and reduce the number of people who require the GBI.

Ending corporate handouts will force corporations to run competitive, profitable companies which provide quality goods and services or go out of business if they can't cut it. Instead of corporate handouts, the money is distributed to the unemployed through the BGI. They can either use their experience to recreate a more profitable version of the business or move on into other areas of interest.

It's time to END Socialism for the Rich in the form of handouts and tax breaks and turning a blind eye to their tax frauds. They should be taxed appropriately in accordance to their income. The higher the income, the higher the taxes.

It isn't rocket science. Really.

ChemTrails: Why Is This Allegation Bullshit?

This isn't an issue I care about because it's been my opinion from the start that's it's simply bogus.

In my opinion, it appears to be nothing more than a diversion to keep social activist eyes focused on nonsense and away from the very real and serious issues we face in today's world. Much like the nonsense coming out of the David Icke and Alex Jones web sites.

So, why am I writing about it then? Good question. Lol.

I'm writing about it because:

there are literally hundreds of sites on the web promoting chemtrail idiocy through the use of deceptive images, pseudoscience, and horribly flawed logic;
social activists who refuse to use their intellects are pushing many people to take this up as a cause, including me;
those pushing these positions refuse to or are quite incapable of engaging in rational debate, understanding (or even knowing) basic science, or seeing reason.

All of this gives me a raging headache so, I would like to see more rational arguments out there in the virtual world countering this demagogic propaganda and exposing it for the sheer nonsense that it is.

First of all let's examine the alleged goals of the alleged chemtrail perpetrators. According to this Youtube video by Truthloader, they are the following:

population control;
weather modification;
warfare;
psychological manipulation

Now let me just note that there are far more inexpensive and efficient ways to accomplish those goals (assuming they exist) than using commercial jets which would have to be customized in order to be used to distribute the chemicals.

For example,

population control: it would be much cheaper, faster and more efficient to poison the water system, don't you think?
weather modification: it's already being done using custom planes (not commercial airliners) and by seeding only the clouds. There's no point seeding the air and there is no evidence that these custom planes are doing that. And please note that weather modification has absolutely nothing to do with climate change. Many sites are conflating the two. They are completely different processes and have completely different outcomes.
warfare: same as two. We have custom war planes to handle any kind of warfare the government wants to engage in. Chemical warfare is done mostly from the ground or using small war planes dropping chemical bombs. Again. There is no need for commercial airliners to perform this task.
psychological manipulation: same as 1. it would be much cheaper, faster and more efficient to put drugs in the water system, don't you think?

In addition, if the water infrastructure was used the mass distribution of chemicals (poisons or drugs) would have a guaranteed effect and could be targeted to specific areas. Spraying would be unreliable, assuming it had any impact at all from 21,000 to 41,000 feet up and wasn't dissipated by the high winds at that height before ending up in the ocean because of the jet stream if they even reached ground level.

Now let's look at some of the allegations ...

The following picture is quite a popular one on the chemtrail sites. They claim it as evidence that commercial jets are indeed 'spraying' the skies causing chemtrails. The allegation is that the barrels contain chemicals which are allegedly dispersed through the jet exhaust system into the air.

As you can see from the image there is nothing on the floor connecting those barrels to the exhaust system of the plane. In addition, the open panels above the barrels contain wiring for the plane and not hoses. The hoses can't be going directly outside from the side of the plane because that would cause decompression when the plane was flown and it would collapse in on itself.

Now I suppose someone could try to argue that the chemicals are placed in a tank similar to the gas tank on the plane (which is under the cargo compartment at the rear of the plane and, as far as I know, inaccessible from inside the plane) using the same exhaust system the engines use.

The problem with this allegation is that there is no evidence that any commercial jets have been designed in this way. It would have to be a custom job varying from the standard. This would make it extremely expensive to produce and would require a special factory with people trained to manufacture and assemble this variant design.

According to the conspiracy theorists alleged chemtrails are different from contrails because they are apparent for longer periods of time. They ignore the scientific explanation in favor of pushing their unproven hypothesis that the cause of this is chemicals in the contrails.

The scientific explanation is that when cirrus clouds are forming there is more moisture in the atmosphere. Their visibility is dependent on temperature and humidity.

Of course the contrails contain chemicals as well as water vapour. Those chemicals are simply byproducts of the exhaust system (burning fuel does that ya know lol).

Please note that no legitimate or rational arguments can be made to equate crop dusting with chemtrails. Crop dusters are two seater planes which are specially equipped and fly at very low altitudes. Of course this is a bad way to distribute pesticides. Of course this will cause harm to the population.

However, they aren't commercial jet liners flying at 21 to 43K feet off the ground for which there is no evidence that they are producing chemtrails.

Climate Engineering (also referred to as geoengineering) is not the same thing as weather modification which is intended to produce immediate and short term weather effects.

According to the Wiki on the topic is:

The Wiki also states quite clearly that:

Now, I did look to see if I could find some large-scale experiments and could only find experiments which were examining the outcomes of climate change. That is, what impact was climate change having on the planet. There were no large scale climate engineering projects actually attempting to engineer climate change.

However, I invite any reader to provide me with one. I'll be very interested in seeing it.
