Hello!, Happy early Friday too you and Happy B-day too me! Tomorrow I turn 32, the kids got me a present. Me and some coworkers are going to lunch and I get to sleep in and still get paid a full 8 hours. So I'm pretty happy with all of that. :)

So this is an awesome polish, Chunky lavender glitter in a tinted purple-ish base. This was really hard to work with but when your nails are this short everything is hard to work with especially anything bumpy.

My nails are super short here because about a month ago I chopped them off and stopped using acetone. I'm happy to report that they have grown better then they have in years, but I spend 4 times as long trying to get my polish off!! I also wanted to show you how small my nails are, normally they aren't much longer then what you see here.

Hello and Happy Friday!!! The Sun is out! Seattle's weather this time of year is crazy and unpredictable and changes by the minute but I'm luvin today, so far. I'm currently on a baking spree and later today me and the kids are gonna spend time picking up trash on the street. Aren't I a strange mom? lol! Truth be told we have 2 paid Volunteer Days at my work and my Uber awesome boss lets me use them to do "community service type"stuff with the kids. They had a no school day today and I thought lets pick up trash at the park or if it's to wet to walk we can clean up the street we live on.

So here's an older Wet n Wild polish from their Crystalic line. Mango madness is a pretty color and applied nicely in 2-3 coats. Although this line of polishes tended to be sheer and thin/watery. If you applied them carefully without using to much at a time they worked well and were smooth an even (like a holo). I think the biggest problem with these is that the brush picks up way to much polish from the get go (like Hot topic bottles), so be sure to wipe of the extra.

I actually wanted a lot of these and was so excited to see them at Freddy's (closed until thanksgiving for remodeling) but by the time I had money to buy polish this was the last one left.

Anyhoo if you know the name of this polish let me know.

So I'm Slowly getting better from being sick and Trying to rearrange my room I've gotten a lot of stuff to organize and Weed out the garbage cluttering my life and Home. Hello, Happy Friday, Well for you that is...I hope! I'm sick as a dog! I had to go into work, one of those times you just can't call in. I did mange to leave about an hour early although I don't think it helped. I'm probably going to spend the weekend in bed, ugh! I have plans to go to Ikea Sunday and pick up 3 more Helmers!!!I'm so excited, I hope I'm better by then! I have 2 completely cram packed Helmers already. And I have polish in shoe boxes and cosmetic bags all over my room, I hope to get more organized before I have to move. I also want to hit up Bed Bath and Beyond as well, I was there last weekend and picked up some killer stacking draw organizers that I just luv!! I want 12 more! Owwww I hope I get better fast!!!

Okay so that's my me rant on to the polish already!!!

This is Icings Frost Yourself, I don't normally get into polish names that much but I just luv this one especially

On a day like today, I wanted to tell everyone to go Frost themselves lol! This was 3 coats polish 1 coat SV top coat. As you can see from the pics this has Silver holographic/Rainbow reflecting hexagon glitter which is uber popular now days (yes!) in two different sizes and it also has your A-typical silver glitter all floating in a clear base. On the nails this had So Much Bling I felt lock a Rock Stars Groupie LUV IT!!!

You might ask if I felt this need a color base and although this would work great as a top coat I felt that on it's own it was still great. In my pics you can see the bare spots but in person this has so much light reflecting goodness you can't see past it. Hope that makes sense.

This is just a quick post, Life is insane! As always! I found out Friday after I got home from work that the sleez back landlord/owner hasn't paid rent since 10/01/10 and the bank is foreclosing on the house I rent which means me and my kids have to move soon, before school gets out for the summer so I'm a little frustrated especially since the landlord is trying to act like it's just a loan modification and won't really foreclose he's just saying that so he can milk me for every dollar he can! I'm not buyin his BS anymore!! F. Him!!

This is an awsome Pink shimmer polish and I luv it! This glows from within and is much pretty in person. This reminded me of Piggy polishe's Pink-ing of you, But this has a Blue undertone and POY is more os an orange base, Also this isn't quite as flashy as POY but still awesome.

This was 2-3 Coats with top coat.

HELLO!!! So I think I'm going Crazy, I swear I posted this already?!?!?! Anywho this is the fun and easy mani I did awhile back. This is the closest thing to nail art I do. To get this look I started off with a layer of my favorite Silver polish, Revlon's Lily Chrome, Then alternated nails using China Glaze's Lorelei's Tiara (one coat) and Sally Hansen's Ice Queen(two coats).

I luv'd this look!!!

Below is the finished look, LT is the pointer and ring fingers IQ on the other 3. IQ is more sparse and has Baby Pink, Blue and Silver Hexagon Glitter floating in a clear base with Silver/holographic glitter. LT is loaded with dense blue and silver glitter in a clear base.

Below are the products I used... Bruch on nail glue instead of a Base coat, Polishes and Seche Vite Top Coat (If you didn't know this stuff is better then Sliced bread...Hands Down!)

On a side note I thought I'd take a moment and remind and or notify my readers of a few things...

*My nails are thin and always break, So short and uneven is kinda my thing

*I never ever clean or touch up my nails ...Who has the time!?

*My cuticles are always a mess and dry too!

*I'm crazy busy, my computer is crap and my camera isn't much better

OK, my computer is driving me crazy! Maybe it's just to early to be typing. The truth is I should be dressed and headed out the door right now. But I really want to try getting post up on a regular. So here I am at 5am, stalling my inevitable hike down the snowy hill to my bus stop. I have to work just about everyday.... it gets old. :(

Any Hoo this is the nail polish 2-3 coats, SV top coat. This polish has just a hint of green tone to it and is so pretty and vibrant. first pic show color best. Fast drying time, good formula.

I luv these little mini's at at a dollar a piece they are so affordable!! This is my mani from yesterday. I'm trying not to smoke and on my first break at work yesterday I went to the ladies room and painted my nails. I figure for every pack of smokes I buy I could be buying a bottle of OPI or 8 of these Essence polishes! So I'm doing my best to just say no. :) Today I'm gonna add a little glitter. :)

I'm off to get dressed....

Hello, here's just a quick peak at what I got for xmas. This for me was the best Holiday I've had in a long time. I've been on a very low buy for over two year snow so this was an amazing gift to myself, 1 of these came from my mom along with a bunch of nail glitters that I'm looking forward to playing with (and so are my girls!) Two of these came from my dad. The kids got me the Hard Candy Polishes. I guess the fam knows what I like...Lucky Me!! As far as I'm concerned nail polish is the best gift ever! I've been playing with these colors tons although I'm still having a terrible time getting good pics...oh well I'll get better and eventually so will the natural lighting....... Did you hear it's snowy in Seattle? Yep just a little so far in my neck of the woods but it still makes for a cold early morning bus ride into work, but I'm thankfully I can still make it in and get paid! I've been working for over a year now and things are still as tight as ever but I have just enough extra to make things special when I need to. Life is good (at least better)

Hello! I finally figured out a way to upload some pics, but I can't crop them and they aren't to great so this is just a fix for today. But I'm so happy to be back. My Internet at home is spotty but better than nothing. My Plan is to edit some pics in the evening and then email them to my work account and upload them on my break. Of course it probably won't be everyday, I just don't have the time and My nails are rarely painted anymore :(

Anyhoo, here's the polish. Lady luck is soooo pretty my pic's don't do this justice at all! But They where taken with my cell phone so they are better than I hoped this is 3 coats with top coat. This polish for me was thick and gloppy so extra care is need to get an even coat, but worth it in the end. This Mani only last one day But I blame that on not using a base coat, which I find to be extremely important when using any sort of glitter.

HAHAHA! I'm Rusty. Have an amazing day! Love the ones you love!!!!

Naturistics, Isle Be Back Pearl #52

Hello there I just have a quick post to share with you, This is Naturistics's Isle Be Back Pearl. Of course I couldn't get an accurate shot of this polish, my camera and purples get along worse than neons. The last extremly blurry pic shows the color best. I really haven't worn this until yesterday. My son picked this out for me so I decided I would give it a try. I was home sick in bed so I had plenty of time to kill while the kids where at school. I'm feelling much better now!

This polish is uber thin and took four coats to acomplish this uneven mess. But the color is fun and now that I finally have my beloved SV top coat it actually dried. This is an older vintage polish I found at my grocery outlet. The base of this polish is a dark greyish blue with dense floating purple shimmer. Which is propably why it looks sooo blue in my photos. I have to admit that althouth this isn't the most unique polish and is crazy hard to build it really has grown on me. I like it more than I thought I would. I don't know when or if I will wear it again since I have a couple hundred untried's in my stash. I'm still not ready to throw it away. Bottom line this is not worth lemming and there are much better purples out there.

Here's a quick post. I wanted to get something with polish up soon! Here we have today's NOTD or week hehe!, Revlon's Heartthrob Red. This was one of my first nail polishes! I haven't worn this in years, but I'm so glad I have it! This has mini flakie's that give that glass flecked look, as you can see it's super bright and overcast here in Seattle so you can really see the rainbow of colors in this polish. Under more traditional lighting this is a really beautiful glowing salsa red. This is two coats polish, one coat SV no Base coat. All picture's taken outside in natural light, no flash.

Sorry for the randomness of my picture order, I'm still getting use to the new computer and I can't seem to see my picture as I'm loading them.... just numbers :)

I'm Super Happy!

I finally have a working computer at home!!! I don't have any pictures to show you today but I hope to get some taken, edited and loaded before to long. I'm working full time and have been for a long time now, so I have very little time for blogging but I hope to set a side time each weekend to blog.

I'm off to do my nails and take some pictures! Hope Your Weekend is Grand!

P.S. I cut my hair really short about 8 weeks ago, it's grown out 3-4 inches. :)
