This proved to be a little much for some of them, as Stephen Colbert made clear on tonight's Colbert Report. Fox News' Bret Baier lost his ability to subtract simple sums and CNN's Erin Burnett had a little trouble mastering the network's new "flick" technology. Mexican-born Auxiliary Bishop Gabino Zavala, 60, is the father of two teenage children who live with their mother in another state, reports the BBC. LA Archbishop Jose Gomez said the archdiocese is offering the family "spiritual care," as well as funding to help with college costs. He called the situation "sad and difficult." Seattle sues attorney over public records request

SEATTLE -- On the heels of a scathing federal review of Seattle police practices, dash-cam video is once again at the center of a firestorm at City Hall.

This time, the city is suing an attorney who wanted dash-cam videos connected to alleged police misconduct.

KOMO News sued the city of Seattle after public information requests for police dash-cam video were not fulfilled. The suit alleges violation of the public records law.

But criminal defense attorney James Egan never expected the city would preemptively sue him just for asking for police dash cam video.

"Shocked. I am shocked," he said. "What the police department is saying is if you make a request for public documents, ultimately you will be sued." Article

Ron Paul in a statistical tie for first place among likely GOP voters next to Newt Gingrich, the first poll yet to show Texas Congressman in a position to win outright in the Iowa Caucus, the nation’s leader in the 2012 GOP primary.

Though Newt Gingrich had a clear lead last week, Paul has closed the margin, now polling at 21%, statistically matching Gingrich’s 22%.
