Simple OOTD | Black Jumpsuit

Hey guys
Just a quick post before I go out for some drinks with an old friend I wanted to come on here and show you my OOTD. So I've decided to keep my hair, make up and outfit pretty simple with a little pop of Burgundy. Just need to figure out what jacket to wear as it has been freezing in London this past two weeks.

I Love jumpsuits, you get a great outfit without having to match a top and bottom together. Dresses and jumpsuits are always my go to when I'm in a rush or just feeling lazy lol.

NUDE NOTD

Hey Dolls,
So today I've decided to go for a Nude NOTD

Peachy Keen, Nude, with matte top coat

I know I said at the beginning of the year that I was going to get out of my comfort zone and be more adventurous but I think this is clearly the total opposite lol. I love this look now though, I think it has a professional look. The nude colour with the matte finish definatly make me feel more grown up :), I usually get rounded acrylics but I feel asthough the squared ones look alot more realistic now aswell, at least that's a change.

What do you guys prefer round or square?

SELFIE STICK :D

Happy Saturday!!!!! So, as you can tell I fell into the craze and brought a selfie stick x_x, I tried not to but they looked so fun and I can tell you I'm loving it. I just need to work on posing correctly so the pole doesn't get in my picture.

Universal 1/4 screw | Weight 500g | Close 20cm - Extended 97cm

So I brought mine off of ebay for £6.98. It's a 7 part stick that strectches out to nearly a meter, and onto of it a universal 1/4 screw so that it can attach to any camera, or you can use the phone attachment bracket to place your phone into it, which is so useful as I mostly take picture on my phone. It also comes with a handy little bluetooth remote that allows you to take the pictures while your phone is a meter away. It's so easy to use and you can get some great angles.

Has anyone else tried one of these?

Ever After - Matte Palette | Review ★☆☆☆☆

Hey Dolls,

So todays post is going to be a review on a MUA palette i picked up a few weeks ago.

So I brought the Ever After Matte palette, which supposedly meant to help you create 'a variety of looks from subtle & natural to smokey & glam. Well after doing the swatches I guess it's safe to say for £4, you get what you pay for.

The top lighter colours didn't seem to have much pigmentation, I had to pick up alot of product (with the cheap useless double headed applicator included in the pack) to make these swatches. And to me personally they all look nearly exactly the same. Maybe it just doesn't work on my skin tone?
The second layer however did have a bit more pigmentation, and I did like the look of Penny, truffle and smoke shades. But 3 out of 10 isn't something to celebrate. Hopefully I may be able to use some of the shades as a base, I'll just need to play around with it and see what I come up with.

I guess I was slightly disappointed as I had used their Heaven on Earth palette before in the past and loved the product. Not only was it only £1 back then but It was well pigmented and easy to apply and blend with other shadows.

Verdict

Slightly Disappointed - ★☆☆☆☆

Rusty Red and Flower Print | New purchases

Hey dolls
I went shopping today to get a new purse, as my old one was well retired. While I was out there I ended up buying a new bag as well (because you can never have enough). I love them so much so wanted to come down and share my purchases :)
So heres my very mini haul

So far I'm loving my purchase's. The bag is a little smaller than I'm used to but I loved the colour and shape so couldn't resist. I'm loving the water colour floral print on the purse as well, It helps make me think of spring during this cold winter season. Why not add a bit of colour to winter :)

Winter NOTD | Stuck in my comfortzone -_-

Hey dolls
My first post of 2015!!!! :D, I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and Happy New year.

So here's a look at my nails I've been rocking the last 2 weeks over the Christmas holidays. Its just a warm purple with a white sparkle accent nail.

I think this has become my easy go to NOTD. I looked back on my others and its a mix between Christmas 2013's NOTD and April 2014 NOTD. I think I'm going to be a bit more adventurous this year. I've been practicing on my nail art, but unfortunately I cant wear to many pattern at work :(, but i definatly will be trying to come out of my comfort zone this year.

Does anyone have any great work appropriate idea's?

I haven't made any resolutions this year as I almost never stick by them long enough then feel crappy at the end of the year for not achieving it. My resoloution for last year was to pass my driving practical, which i did (Yay Me :D) and to carry on learning new things and growing as a person which I feel I have achieved, So I'm just going to say the same for the new year coming, and hopefully be more productive in order to make It a great year, before many more.

Poppy Dream - NOTD

Hey dolls

Can you believe were already half way through November already, this year sure has gone by fast. And as of the 1st of November I have been blogging for 3 years, and I completely forgot to mention it, But the time sure has flown by.

Anyways this was just a quick post as i've just come back from the nail shop and wanted to show off my new Nail colour. So I've decided to keep it simple for the winter season, I have short rounded acrylics with the colour Poppy Dream(if i can remember correctly), by Misa Nail Liquor. I love this colour and thinks its great for the colder weather as it is a very warm red colour and reminds me of christmas. I then decided to use a matt topcoat to make it more conservative for work.

But It's been a hectic week. My Younger sister has just left for America, and I Miss her already. The last few days I've been been helping her get ready for her year abroad in America.

This is such a great opportunity for her as she has always wanted to work in america, and is lucky enough to have got a job in her chosen field, where she will be able to see what its like and to get used to the culture.

5 essentials for productivity

So its mid October already!!! This year has gone so fast.

We've come to that time of year when the weather is cold and gloomy, the sky is grey and we are sat at work, uni or college counting down the days until the Christmas holidays. This weather has made me feel lazy and just wanting to sit at home under a big duvet, in thick comfy socks watching movies on the laptop (Disney movies are my Guilty Pleasure) and I probably not alone on this.

So for anyone like me, I wanted to share my 5 Essentials for Productivity.

1. Start your day early
Rise and Shine!! Starting your day early not only makes you feel good, but it also allows you to maximise the time you have to get stuff done. So if you have productive day ahead, an early night the day before is defiantly a must.

2. Drink loads of Water
Drinking water can help you think properly, Feeling dehydrated can often result in headaches which can make you feel stressed and less productive. So drink up and a good breakfast, and healthy snacks can also help get you through your tasks.

3. Plan and organise
This may seem obvious but planning and organise is an essential. Make checklist or jot stuff down in a diary. I love setting mini goals for big tasks as achieving them gives me a sense of achievement. It also helps break down a task so it doesn't seem overwhelming.

4. Prioritise
Try to get the important things done first, rather than the quick little jobs, so not to procrastinate. But don't get stressed out, Its important to still put time aside for yourself and your social life, you Just have to work out when you will have time to do what.

5. Choose your environment
A tidy workspace, makes for great work. I found this very true when writing my dissertation. But if you can't choose your environment, try to be as positive as possible, as your attitude may reflection to your task, I like to look at inspirational quotes, I've posted a few here:Thursday Thoughts.

I'm loving the colour, I've been wearing it for 3days now and have received compliments at work which is always a great 'pickmeup' in the mornings :). I got this colour in my goodybag when I went to the Cosmo #Fashfest, which I am very happy with because I don't know if I would have picked it out myself. But seeing it on I think the colour looks gorgeous and will be a great addition to my goto fall nail colours.

Heres a review on the Max factor - Face Finity - All Day Primer

So I've been using this primer for a while now, A little over a month I Believe. A friend of mine, donated it to me as she received it in a GlossyBox, but swears by her primer and didn't want to try it. So its a win for me :). Before this primer I was originally using a Brightening Face Primer by Benefits (my review) which was my favourite primer for a while but I think this one has come pretty close.
Pros
1.Great price
Only £10.99 for a 30ml bottle this is a huge saving for me as benifits was £22.50 for 11ml bottle
2. Long lasting
Can take you from day to night
3. Feels good on skin
Very light weight and moisturising, yet helps give a matt finish and eliminates oiliness even without powder
4. Great value
A little can go a very long way, 1 pump is more than enough for my whole face
5. Easy to use
Cute sleek design and easy to use pump which has a handy turn lock
6. Added Bonus
It has SPF 20 for a bit more protection from the elements
Cons
1. Doesn't do much when worn solo, except moisturise I don't get a glow. But thats only a con when compared to Benefits

Verdict
Love's it - ★★★★☆
Its been great during the warmer weather, hopefully it holds up over the winter.

The first Outfit is so laid back and casual yet she still look absolutely Amazing, And the use of layering is always a win in the colder weathers

Im also Loving this Audrey Hepburn feel outfit, with the Crop top and Skirt both by Ralph Lauren, the gorgeous undo and sandals, I think this is a great Autumn/Fall OOTD for work, out for dinner or even a small garden party.

And the third outfit is just 'EVERYTHING' I think she looks very elegant, sexy and classy without having to try so hard.

Cosmopolitan #fashfest LFW

Hey Dolls,
So last night I attended the Cosmopolitan #fashfest, and had such an amazing night I had to share it all.

So Cosmopolitan was holding a competition with #fashfest and Baileys to win tickets to the Cosmopolitan #fashfest Catwalk show. I had only applied last week Monday so I was amazed when they emailed me the earlier this week to say I had won especially since it has been my favourite magazine for ages I was extremely excited.So I was given tickets for me and 3 friends to enjoy a great evening of Fashion, pampering and an amazing catwalk show. It was held in an amazing venue in Battersea Park.

It started of with a cocktail reception which had an amazing turn out with the likes of M.O, Alexandra Burk and Jade Avia to name a few. There was complementary beauty treatments, Bubbly and cocktails, Great music by the fabulous Krystal Roxx, lots of freebies and an all round amazing vibe.

I did have more pics and some videos on my camera put my memory card isnt co-operating. So heres a few phone pics.

After that was the Amazing High street catwalk with some Amazing piece's that are in store from today I believe. My favourite would defiantly have to be the khaki and the tartan trend at the moment.

And then after the Catwalk we partied the night away to the amazing Krytsal Roxx, and after all of that we all got given an Amazing Goody Bag worth £55 each. So here's a look at what I got.

Hey!!!

Summer has officially gone, and Autumn has arrived :(. During the summer, my summer favourite we'll for the past 2 months, I would have to say that this nail varnish by 'L.A. Color' has been my go to summer Shade.

L.A.Colors: Hottie (CNP534)

It is a very fun and playful peachy colour, that has worked well for the summer. I just love how it looks orange in some lights and pink in others.

It complimented most of my summer looks and looked great against a white dress, 'color craze' is slowly becoming my favourite nail brand, they have such a great range of colours, that are long lasting and only cost 99p :)
