Blogger Tutorial 11. Membuat Daftar Isi

Ada Banyak cara untuk membuat daftar isi dari sebuah blog, tetapi terkadang ada beberapa cara yang mengganggu estetika sebuah blog (Tampilan menjadi semakin banyak) dan terkadang ada juga yang membuat performance dari sebuah blog menjadi semakin lambat.

Cara yang berikut akan saya jelaskan, menurut saya adalah metode yang sangat efektif dalam membuat daftar isi. Didalam daftar isi tersebut akan terlihat tanggal dari posting dan juga judul label.
Dibawah ini adalah cara pemasangannya :
1. Buatlah Posting baru, terserah mau diberi judul apapun, yang saya sarankan buat judul "Daftar Isi"

2. Halaman Posting fungsikan dalam mode sebagai edit HTML
3. Kemudian copy kode dibawah ini ke halaman posting

4. Setealh selesai langkah ketiga diatas, langsung terbitkan posting (Publish Post).

5. Kemudian lihat posting yang telah anda buat, sangat kacau bukan .. :)

6. Untuk merapikan daftar isi yang telah kamu buat ikuti langkah berikut

7. Masuk ke design>Template>edit html , cari kode dibawah ini

Blogger Tutorial 10. Pasang Tombol Share Social Media Via Sharethis.com

Setalah pada posting sebelumnya saya jelaskan tentang pemasangan tombol share di beberapa social media seperti facebook, twitter, stumbleupon, dan google plus, maka pada kesempatan kali akan saya jelaskan cara membuat pemasangan tombol share pada hampir semua social media lewat sharethis
. Dengan menggunakan sharethis.com kita dapat menghiasi blog kita mulai dengan tombol share mulai dari facebook, twiiter, digg, stumbleupon, ma.gnolia, delicious, furl, technorati, simpy, spurl, reddit, mybloglog, blogcatalog, dan masih banyak lagi.

Berikut adalah cara pemasangannya :

1. Pertama, masuk ke dasboard blogger anda

2. Masuk ke tab Rancangan (Design/Layout) -> Edit HTML

3. Klik pada Expand Widget Templates
4. Kemudian Carilah kode berikut ini (Gunakan fasilitas CTRL F untuk mempermudah pencarian)

Biasanya dalam pencarian anda akan menemukan lebih dari satu kode, pilihlah kode yang letaknya ada di bagian bawah dari keseluruhan script.

Nah sekarang caranya memasang pada blog kita :
1. Masuk ke dashboard blogger
2. Pilih Rancangan
3. Pilih Edit HTML

1. Perhatikan setiap pilihan tombol share dengan kode yang berwarna merah. Kode berwarna merah tersbut ganti dengan username & deskripsi twittermu sendiri.
2. Masuk ke dasboard blogger
3. Pilih rancangan
4. Pilih edit html
5. Centang Expand widget templates (Tunggu loading sebentar)
6. Sekarang cari kode dibawah ini (Gunakan fasilitas CTRL F untuk mempermudah pencarian)

Facebook telah mengeluarkan tombol share untuk blogger yang dinamakan fshare. Dengan menambahkan tombol facebook share, maka dapat diketahui berapa banyak sebuah artikel dalam sebuah blog telah di share di facebook.

Ada lima buah model sharing button yang disediakan oleh facebook. Berikut kode dari beberapa model tersebut :

Google telah mengeluarkan tombol sharing alternatif yang bernama +1. Seperti kita ketahui facebook dan twitter pun sudah mengeluarkan tombol sharing untuk para blogger tersebut.
Ketika kamu menyukai artikel yang diposting oleh blogger, tinggal tekan tombol +1. Hal ini sangat berguna untuk membantu teman kita dan yang lain untuk menemukan artikel mana yang paling populer

Cek video diatas untuk lebih mengetahui kegunaan dari Google +1.

Sekarang saya jelaskan cara memasangnya :

1. Masuklah ke blogger dashboard

2. Pilih rancangan

3. Pilih edit html

Blogger Tutorial 05. Virus ditemukan pada Software Submit Equalizer

Akhir-akhir ini banyak sekali para blogger yang melakukan posting tentang software "SUBMIT EQUALIZER", saya ga tau apakah mereka membeli software tersebut secara legal atau asal jiplak/copy paste saja pada situs-situs/blog lainnya.
Adalah sebuah hal yang cukup ceroboh bagi anda untuk mendownload ataupun melakukan sharing terhadap software tersebut, hal ini dikarenakan :
1. Software tersebut adalah software berbayar, jadi jika anda melakukan sharing secara terbuka software tersebut, sebuah pelanggaran hak cipta terhadap sebuah produk telah anda lakukan. (Secara pribadi saya juga tidak setuju dengan si penjual software, karena saya menganut prinsip "Knowledge is an open source").
2. Dengan melakukan Penjiplakan/Copy Paste blog tanpa menyebutkan sumbernya, anda juga telah melakukan pelanggaran hak cipta (Sekalilagi secara pribadi saya juga kurang setuju dengan para blogger yang sewot/kebakaran jenggot apabila blognya dijiplak, karena sekalilagi saya menganut prinsip "Knowledge is an open source". Seharusnya mereka berterimakasih karena pemikiran dan ide kreatifnya disebarluaskan dan berguna bagi orang banyak... He3x ...).
3. Ini yang paling penting, telah banyak ditemukan laporan virus trojan dropper pada installer Software Submit Equalizer terutama pada software telah di crack/unprotected. Jadi berhati-hatilah anda yang menggunakan software ini terutama software yang telah di crack/unprotected (Submit Equalizer jenis ini banyak di share oleh para blogger).

Blogger Tutorial 04. Delete NoFollow untuk Menaikkan Page Rank

Kita bisa menghilangkan atribute "no follow" dari akun blogspot untuk meningkatkan Page rank. Jika Anda melakukannya Anda dapat bergabung dalam "Do Follow" blog yang akan meningkatkan nilai Page Rank dan juga penghasilan Adsense
.

Berikut adalah hal-hal yang harus dilakukan :
1. Login ke bloger
2. Dari Menu dasboard, klik "layout", kemudian klik "edit html"
3. Sebelum menghapus nofollow ada baiknya anda backup template blog anda, caranya dengan menekan tombol "Download Full Template"
4. Centang tanda di "Expand Widget" dan tunggu beberapa saat
5. Scroll Down, dan cari kode berikut :

Hapuslah kode yang berwarna merah 'rel=nofollow', atau bisa juga cukup menghapus no pada tulisan 'nofollow'.

6. Langkah terakhir adalah klik save template

Menghapus atribut 'nofollow' dari Komentar blogger akan membantu komentar anda terindeks pada mesin pencari yang akan meningkatkan visiblity dari blogpost Anda diSearch engine.

Hal yang diperlukan untuk menaikkan angka trafik (pengunjung dari blog kita) adalah dengan mendaftarkan alamat blog kita ke berbagai mensin pencari (Search Engine) yang telah kita kenal. Berikut saya jelaskan bagaimana cara submit alamat blog kita ke beberapa atau ke ribuan search engine

1. Ask Search Engine

Berikut saya jelaskan cara submit blog kita ke Ask search engine

Langkah Pertama adalah mengetahui URL sitemap Blog kita.

Ganti tulisan biru dengan URL blog milikmu.

Merkuri mempunyai sifat sangat beracun bagi tubuh manusia dan mudah menguap (Ingat Kasus Minamata). Merkuri dapat masuk kedalam tubuh manusia melalui pencernaan, pernafasan dan peresapan melalui kulit, serta dapat merusak susunan saraf pusat, ginjal, hati dan organ tubuh lainnya Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah belum diketahuinya gambaran kadar Hg dalam urine pada anak yang gigi susunya ditambal dengan bahan tambal amalgam gigi yang mengandung Hg.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar Hg dalam urine dan rnegetahui hubungan antara bahan tambal amalgam pada gigi susu dengan kadar Hg dalam urine dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengan rancangan penelitian analitik dan pendekatan cross- sectional, sampel berjumlah 40 anak, dengan variabel bebas meliputi jenis kelamin, umur, lama penarnbalan gigi, jumlah penambalan gigi, sedangkan variabel terikat yaitu kadar Hg dalam urine. Disamping itu dalam penelitian juga akan dilihat mengenai hubungan antara bahan tambal amalgam pada gigi susu dengan kadar Hg dalam urine, dengan mengambil sampel anak yang datang berobat di poliklinik Bagian Gigi Anak Universitas Indonesia Nopember 1993 - Mei 1994, dan dikumpulkan contoh urine anak yang gigi susunya ditambal dengan bahan tambal amalgam gigi.
Alasan diambil sampel anak, karena anak belum banyak tercemar dan ingin dilihat secara dini pengaruh Hg dalam tubuh dengan melalui urine. Gambaran distribusi menurut jenis kelamin perempuan dan laki-laki sama jumlahnya yaitu 20 anak, rata-rata umur anak 7 tahun 3 bulan, rata-rata lama penambalan gigi 132 hari, jumlah penambalan gigi 1 - 3 gigi dan rata-rata kadar Hg dalam urine 93,98 141. Hasil penelitian untuk variabel jenis kelamin didapatkan bahwa secara statistik ada hubungan bermakna dengan kadar Hg dalam urine (p=001). Kelompok laki-laki mempunyai rata-rata kadar Hg dalam urine lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok perempuan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa secara statistik tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara umur dengan kadar Hg dalam urine (p=O,3d). Rata-rata kadar Hg dalam urine untuk kelompok umur >87 bulan lebih rendah dibandingkan kelompok umur <87 bulan. Hubungan antara lama penambalan dengan kadar Hg dalam urine secara statistik hubungannya juga tidak bermakna (p1.OO). Terlihat rata-rata kadar Hg dalam urine untuk lama penambalan >69 hari lebih besar dibandingkan dengan lama penambalan < 69 hari. Hubungan yang tidak bermakna ditemukan juga untuk variabel jumlah penambalan dengan kadar Hg dalam urine (p=1.00).

Terlihat rata-rata kadar Hg dalam urine untuk kelompok jumlah penambalan >1 gigi lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok jumlah penambalan 1 gigi. Dalam hal ini anak kemungkinan mendapatkan paparan Hg dari bahan tambal amalgam gigi, kemungkinan lain tidak didapatkan hubungan bermakna karena makin bertambah umur makin berkurang dengan hilangnya gigi susu. Dalam pembahasan setelah dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelompok yaitu >4 µg/l dan <4 μg/l, terlihat bahwa kadar Hg dalam urine >4 µg/1 sebanyak 92,5%, dengan demikian dari seluruh responden, hampir semuanya sudah terancam penyakit yang diakibatkan oleh kadar Hg dalam tubuh. Dan hasil penelitian berdasarkan mean rank didapatkan kadar Hg dalam urine laki-laki lebih besar daripada perempuan, dan ditemukam hubungan bermakna menurut jenis kelamin (p=0,001), Sedangkan menurut variabel umur, lama penambalan dan jumlah penambalan tidak ditemukan hubungan bermakna.
Dari hasil penelitian dengan melihat perbedaan proporsinya, walaupun kadar Hg dalam urine laki-laki lebih tinggi dengan kadar Hg dalam urine perempuan, tetapi setelah diuji secara statistik tidak ditemukan hubungan yang bermakna, juga menurut variabel umur, lama penambalan dan jumlah penambalan tidak ditemukan hubungan bermakna. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini ditemukannya lebih dari 90 % responden mempunyai kadar Hg dalam urine diatas normal (4 μg/l), secara statistik ditemukan hubungan bermakna antara jenis kelamin dengan kadar Hg dalam urine, dimana laki-laki mempunyai kadar Hg dalam urine lebih tinggi daripada perempuan. Tidak ditemukannya secara statistik hubungan bermakna antara umur, lama penambalan dan jumlah penambalan terhadap kadar Hg dalam urine

Bahan Shampoo Untuk Menurunkan Emisi CO2

Dalam Pertemuan Nasional ke-239 American Chemical Society (ACS), Robert Perry dan rekan kerjanya memaparkan bahwa pembangkit listrik batubara merupakan sumber emisi CO2 terbesar. Dari 8.000 pembangkit listrik batubara yang ada di Amerika Serikat, sebanyak 2,8 milyar ton CO2 dilepas ke atmosfer setiap tahunnya. Belum lagi dari 50.000 pembangkit listrik serupa dari seluruh dunia.

Berangkat dari hal tersebut, Robert Perry, seorang ahli kimia bekerja sama dengan GE Global Research di Niskayun, New York, mengembangkan sebuah material yang dalam pengujian skala laboratorium mampu menyerap lebih dari 90% CO2 yang ditambahkan ke dalam sistem.

Aminosilikon, material yang bisa ditemukan dalam produk shampo perawatan rambut, pelembut pakaian atau pun plastik fleksibel yang tahan terhadap suhu tinggi tersebut dikembangkan lebih jauh. Material yang berbentuk larutan tersebut, rencananya akan diuji untuk menyerap CO2 dan kemudian memindahkannya ke sebuah sistem yang berfungsi memisahkan CO2 dari aminosilikon. Larutan aminosilikon selanjutnya akan didaur ulang untuk bereaksi kembali dengan gas dari cerobong asap.

Laser Sheds Light on Tracking Source of Microbial Contamination on Beach

A simple, automated method of tracking E. coli uses a laser to detect and monitor the microbe in potentially contaminated bodies of water or waterways. The technique, described this month in the International Journal of Computational Biology and Drug Design could reduce the incidence of waterborne disease outbreaks

Microbial contamination of water is a worldwide environmental and health problem. Water-related diseases are the leading causes of illness and death in the world. The impacts of water quality on public health and economy are highly significant as evidenced by waterborne disease outbreaks, boil water advisories, contamination of irrigation waters, and beach closures. Considerable government and private efforts have been made to improve and monitor water quality.

Beach managers need reliable methods to determine the origins of contaminants in order to reduce those sources and maintain a healthy beach. Sources of fecal contamination in recreational waters are often unknown and/or of non-point origins. Identifying and reducing the sources of fecal contamination for a particular beach is often hindered by the presence of multiple and diffuse sources, natural variability in bacterial indicator concentrations over space and time, and the dynamic currents, weather patterns, and natural processes that affect these concentrations.

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), for example, has provided substantial funding support to coastal communities through the BEACH Act to increase the frequency of beach monitoring. Whereas beach monitoring for fecal bacterial indicators such as E. coli is necessary, knowing the source of bacterial contamination is fundamentally important for preventing microbial pollution in water. Simple counts of fecal indicator bacteria do not provide vital information regarding the source of microbial contamination. It is thus necessary to develop scientific techniques for microbial source tracking. With knowledge gained from employment of appropriate methodologies, it would be possible to assess risk, choose effective remediation strategies, and bring polluted waters into compliance with regulatory policies.

Now, Bin Chen of Purdue University Calumet, and colleagues there and at the University of Minnesota, St Paul, have turned to a laser technique for potential use in microbial source tracking. Their technique uses laser imaging of bacterial colonies and high-resolution optical scattering image analysis to identify the host species of E. coli in a sample.

"The water quality of lakes, rivers, and streams in many areas has long been monitored in the government and other agencies," the team says, "however, many of them still do not meet the goal of 'fishable and swimmable' because identifying the source of bacterial contamination is difficult." The new technology, demonstrated by Chen and colleagues, could address that shortfall allowing water contamination to be remediated.

Fluoride In Water Linked To Lower IQ In Children

Fluoride is added to 70% of U.S. public drinking water supplies.

According to Paul Connett, Ph.D., director of the Fluoride Action Network, "This is the 24th study that has found this association, but this study is stronger than the rest because the authors have controlled for key confounding variables and in addition to correlating lowered IQ with levels of fluoride in the water, the authors found a correlation between lowered IQ and fluoride levels in children's blood. This brings us closer to a cause and effect relationship between fluoride exposure and brain damage in children."

"What is also striking is that the levels of the fluoride in the community where the lowered IQs were recorded were lower than the EPA's so-called 'safe' drinking water standard for fluoride of 4 ppm and far too close for comfort to the levels used in artificial fluoridation programs (0.7 – 1.2 ppm)," says Connett.

In this study, 512 children aged 8-13 years in two Chinese villages were studied and tested – Wamaio with an average of 2.47 mg/L water fluoride (range 0.57-4.50 mg/L) and Xinhuai averaging 0.36 mg/L (range 0.18-0.76 mg/L).

The authors eliminated both lead exposure and iodine deficiency as possible causes for the lowered IQs. They also excluded any children who had a history of brain disease or head injury and none drank brick tea, known to contain high fluoride levels. Neither village is exposed to fluoride pollution from burning coal or other industrial sources. About 28% of the children in the low-fluoride area scored as bright, normal or higher intelligence compared to only 8% in the "high" fluoride area of Wamaio.

In the high-fluoride city, 15% had scores indicating mental retardation and only 6% in the low-fluoride city.

The study authors write: "In this study we found a significant dose-response relation between fluoride level in serum and children's IQ."

In addition to this study, and the 23 other IQ studies, there have been over 100 animal studies linking fluoride to brain damage (all the IQ and animal brain studies are listed in Appendix 1 in The Case Against Fluoride available online at http://fluoridealert.org/caseagainstfluoride.appendices.html).

One of the earliest animal studies of fluoride's impact on the brain was published in the U.S. This study by Mullenix et. al (1995) led to the firing of the lead author by the Forsyth Dental Center. "This sent a clear message to other researchers in the U.S. that it was not good for their careers to look into the health effects of fluoride – particularly on the brain," says Connett.

Connett adds, "The result is that while the issue of fluoride's impact on IQ is being aggressively pursued around the world, practically no work has been done in the U.S. or other fluoridating countries to repeat their findings. Sadly, health agencies in fluoridated countries seem to be more intent on protecting the fluoridation program than protecting children's brains."

When the National Research Council of the National Academies reviewed this topic in their 507-page report "Fluoride in Drinking Water: A Review of EPA's Standards" published in 2006, only 5 of the 24 IQ studies were available in English. Even so the panel found the link between fluoride exposure and lowered IQ both consistent and "plausible."

According to Tara Blank, Ph.D., the Science and Health Officer for the Fluoride Action Network, "This should be the study that finally ends water fluoridation. Millions of American children are being exposed unnecessarily to this neurotoxin on a daily basis. Who in their right minds would risk lowering their child's intelligence in order to reduce a small amount of tooth decay, for which the evidence is very weak." Low Voltage Helps Microbes Eat Mining And Other Waste

University of Utah researchers developed a new concept in water treatment: an electrobiochemical reactor in which a low electrical voltage is applied to microbes to help them quickly and efficiently remove pollutants from mining, industrial and agricultural wastewater

The patented electrobiochemical reactor (EBR) process replaces tons of chemicals with a small amount of electricity that feed microbes with electrons. Tests have shown that the electrons accelerate how quickly the microbes remove pollutants such as arsenic, selenium, mercury and other materials, significantly reducing the cost of wastewater cleanup.

The research is now being used by a University of Utah startup company named INOTEC, which was honored at the 2010 Cleantech Open competition in San Jose, Calif. INOTEC and its EBR technology won the $40,000 Rocky Mountain regional award in what is nicknamed the "Academy Awards of Clean Technology." INOTECH was one of 18 teams that became finalists out of 271 in the event.

Metallurgical engineer Jack Adams of the College of Mines and Earth Sciences pioneered the process. He and graduate student Mike Peoples, who co-founded INOTEC, say the award is validation that their research can save the wastewater industry money.

"It is great to be recognized for an innovative clean technology," says Adams, president of INOTEC and a research professor in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering. "We're currently in the early stages of growing the company, and every bit of recognition and support we get fits in with our go-to-market model. It will open new opportunities for securing partnerships and investor funding that will allow us and a partner to take the technology further faster."

Adams says the new method can enhance just about any type of wastewater treatment. It now is being tested primarily for removing metals from mining wastewater, but also could be used for other industrial and agricultural wastes, he adds.

INOTEC has received support and an exclusive license to the EBR technology from the University of Utah's Technology Commercialization Office, which protects and manages the university's intellectual property and helps faculty members create startup companies. INOTEC is working with the office's new Energy Commercialization Center to secure business partners and funding.

In conventional wastewater treatment, microbes or chemicals alter or remove contaminants by adding or removing electrons. The electrons come from large excesses of nutrients and chemicals added to the systems to adjust the reactor chemistry for microbial growth and contaminant removal. Those large excesses must be added to compensate for changes in water chemistry and other factors that limit the availability of electrons to remove pollutants.

The electrobiochemical reactor or EBR system overcomes these shortcomings by directly supplying excess electrons to the reactor and microbes using low voltage and no current, unlike other systems that provide large electrical currents. One volt supplies about one trillion trillion electrons (note: trillion twice is correct). These electrons replace the electrons normally supplied by excess nutrients and chemicals, at a considerable savings and with greater efficiency.

The electrons needed for a full-scale facility can easily be supplied by a small solar power grid. "The provided electrons make reactors more efficient, stable and controllable," Adams says.

The researchers, through INOTEC, have successfully completed five laboratory tests of waters from various metal and coal mines in North America containing selenium, arsenic, mercury and nitrates.

INOTEC recently completed its first on-site, pilot-scale contract, treating wastewater containing arsenic and nitrate from an inactive gold mine. This demonstration was partially funded through a University of Utah Virtual Incubator Program grant.

INOTEC has also secured its own contract for a second pilot-scale test at a mine for silver and other metals in the Yukon in spring 2011

The book recounts the myriad of detail which went into the formulation of that expedition, from the selection of its respective team members to the type and quantity of supplies necessary for such an ambitious endeavor. The book, in fact, includes a series of appendixes that list in minute detail a day to day travel chronology of the expedition, a list of all equipment necessary, the breakdown of the various foods taken, the medical supplies needed for the venture, and a list of financial costs and transport requirements. In short, it provides everything one may have ever wanted to know about what goes into mounting an expedition. Nostalgia buffs, as well as climbing enthusiasts, will revel in the plethora of information!

The book also grounds the reader in the historical, as well as geographical, pedigree of K2 and the challenges that it has presented over time. It recounts the previous reconnaissances and expeditions, which had traveled to the environs of K2. Interestingly enough, on this expedition, unlike prior ones, Hunza mountain porters from a small border state in northern Pakistan, rather than Sherpas, were employed, due to the prevailing political winds of the time.

The journey of the expedition over the remote and primitive reaches of the then infant country of Pakistan is a death defying venture in and of itself. Imagine the expedition with its hundred and twenty five native Balti porters, each carrying sixty pound loads, crossing raging rivers in ancient barges said to be similar to those used by Alexander the Great in leading his armies across the same river! At other times, they crossed turbulent river waters, using rafts made up of inflated animal bladders which were lashed together. They traversed across wide gorges over bridges made of woven willows and twigs. These so called bridges had an alarming tendency to turn upside down, promising to send the hapless traveler to a certain death below! Fortunately, the expedition was able to avert death at this stage of its journey.

Upon reaching Base Camp, an assault upon K2 was quickly launched. With the assistance of the Hunzas and a stretch of good weather, Camps I through III were established with a minimum of fuss. The Hunzas, however, did not progress beyond Camp III, as the expedition members felt it wiser to ascend without them, given the Hunzas' limited high altitude experience and equipment. From then on, the expeditioners, eager for a summit bid, did all the loading and carrying work up the mountain, ultimately establishing Camp VIII at an elevation of about 25,500 feet. It was there that the beginning of the end took place.

While at Camp VIII, all eight members of the expedition found themselves storm bound for seven days. Despite being buffeted by hurricane force winds, driven snow, lack of sufficient food, drink, and sleep, all while trapped in the death zone without supplementary oxygen, they still clung to their summit dream.

That dream ended abruptly when one of them became desperately ill with thrombophlebitis, and needed to be evacuated. Their nightmare had begun...

The story of the 1953 Third American Karakoram Expedition is one of the most amazing and spellbinding in the annals of mountaineering history. Gripping in its telling, it is a must read for all climbing enthusiasts and for all who simply love a great read.
