Cassie, from Bedford High School in Michigan picked the perfect day for her session at the Botanical Gardens, the flowers were in full bloom and it was absolutely gorgeous. Add a gorgeous girl to the mix and you get a fantastic outdoor session.

We have had a really hot summer this year and Abby’s Toledo Downtown session was no exception but as hot as it was Abby managed to look fantastic. She plays soccer for Southview, I can’t wait to get you scheduled for your “Big Sky Sports” pictures. I will be calling you in the next week or so. Hopefully it won’t be as hot.

Abby brought a friend to her session and we had a special modeling session from him. It has got to be one of the funniest sessions I have had.

This was Scotty’s first photo shoot. He did really good but definitely let me know when he was done. Since Mom and Dad both have tattoos I figured it was only appropriate that he had one also.

Exciting Week

I came out to Colorado on Tues to help my mom after her knee surgery. Yesterday I met up with some photography friends and Michelle was able to find a few girls that came out to model for us. A few of them were dancers so we got some great images of them, here are a couple of my favorites.

With as much fun as we had yesterday my night got even more exciting! I was driving back from Michelle’s and got a call from my son saying his wife was in labor and they were heading to the hospital. I was praying it was just a false alarm but that stinker decided he was coming 3 weeks early. It is going to be a week before I can get my hands on my first grandbaby. He also ruined his mommy’s plans for being at the county fair this week. She is involved in the equestrian events and is now going to miss everything. As a newborn he is just as ornery as his dad.

Here are my favorites of Scotty McKenzie. Needless to say this baby will not be lacking in pictures.

We had perfect weather for one of Brandi’s senior sessions at the Maumee Bay Beach. She also had some admirers and one let her get on his see doo. We got a lot of great images but this one was one of my favorites. I can’t wait till we can do your volleyball images for our big sky sports.

Tragedy Strikes Close to Home

I want to express my deepest sympathy to all the people that have been affected by the recent tornadoes in our area. This tragedy has shocked and saddened us all. In this time of sorrow and loss I would like to extend a special offer to those directly affected by the storms. The value of memories is something we at KM Seniors understand and hold dear; so to those families who are dealing with the aftermath of these tornadoes and whose images from KM Seniors have been damaged or lost by the storm we would like to offer to replace them for you.

We’ve had an amazing year and have been lucky enough to meet some pretty amazing seniors. We are so grateful you chose KM Seniors to help document this great time in your life. We’ve loved getting to know something about each one of you instead of just taking your picture! We’ve laughed with you, and gotten teary-eyed with your parents when they see your portraits and realize you will be gone soon – off to another exciting time in your life!

The Class of 2010 gives us renewed faith in the young people of our country. We scheduled sessions around your college visitations, practices for athletics, music, and plays, your church attendance, and too many other things to list. “Our” seniors aren’t just sitting around doing nothing – you’re involved with your community, your school, your church, and with your families – good for you!!! You will all walk across that stage in a few weeks and start the next important chapter of your life! Congratulations to all of you – we’ve truly enjoyed getting to know each of you and wish you health and happiness as you move on in your life! Keep in touch with your old friends, make some new ones, and make your families proud! But, more importantly, always be the kind of person YOU can be proud of! Molly | Ida High School Photography

Molly will be graduating from Ida High School in a couple of days. I was honored to be able to photograph Molly as she sang the National Anthem at a Mud Hens game. In addition Mud Hens game she had several other sessions and we were able to get a lot of different looks with the changing seasons and we even managed to get some pictures in the snow. It was very cold but a lot of fun. Molly has an absolutely gorgeous smile and that really showed in her pictures. Good luck Molly and thank you for choosing KM Seniors for your senior pictures.
