Pretty sweet thus far.

My wife absolutely loves to go to the beach, but doesn’t like seafood too much. Her mom, on the other hand, is all about some lobster or other types of seafood. When one of her brothers used to come home from the east coast he would always bring two lobsters so he and his mom could eat together. My wife and her Dad would abandon the seafood smell filled house to go to Ruby Tuesday’s or something like that.

I love Cook off contests. I love that just about anyone can win. You could be a relative new comer to the field and still win simply because your recipe tasted the best out of all the ones at the cook off.

If I had to pick a favorite seafood dish I would stick with something simple like fried fish. I’m not too knowledgable on the different types, but we live in the south so frying anything makes it better. I’d like to give cajun spices a try some time. We’ve got some great cajun restaurants around here and the spices really kick it up a notch. If I were entering in a contest it would be something like that — a simple fried fish dish with a cajun kick. I’d enter it in the Great American Seafood Cook Off.

Another cool thing about the cook off is they encourage sustainable practices. That is, not overfishing a population, and using local products whenever possible. It’s a simple concept, but a tough one to stick with. If we want to have fish in the future, we need to let some of them live today. Very basic, but we humans tend to have a problem with basic things…

I want to sell something online, in a store. I’m not worried about the design, shopping cart setup, or search engine optimization. I can figure that stuff out.

What I do need is a product I am actually interested in.

The economy is tanking. Foreclosures are up (although the media has over hyped exactly how much they are up). Unemployment is up (but still a relatively low amount).

Nonetheless, the American “spend every last dime and then some” mentality is starting to take a hit. What do you mean by house can’t be used as an ATM to finance all of my other purchases from equity? Wait, housing prices don’t always go up? Blasphemy!

Woohoo! PageRank at my main project — No Debt Plan — went up again from PR3 to PR4. I started the blog in January and am very pleased with the progress thus far.

Then again, another one of my money making blogs dropped from PR4 to PR3. Suck.

There’s nothing like a high quality, expensive massage after a long day at work. Or a long week at work. Or a long month…

But the key part out of all of that is the expensive part. Massages can run $75-125 per hour around my area. Ouch!

Some of my money making abilities have dwindled as of late. I may need to change strategies. The internet is a dynamic and changing place, is it not? One month this method works. The next month your earnings are cut in half. Very unpredictable…

I’ve talked about ZenniOptical.com a few times in the past. They recently were lucky enough to get a mention on Fox News. There was a video clip where you can see Zenni on Fox.

And hey, the more money you save on buying a new pair of glasses — the more you have to reinvest in your online businesses. Let’s get it done!

As a general note, I don’t necessarily support the views of all the companies that advertise with me on my various sites.

But I think that is widely accepted. For example, if I’m using Google AdSense to make money on a blog… Google may allow an ad on my page that I don’t necessarily believe in.

For example, I’m not picking sides in the Presidential race, but if a pro or anti-ad for either candidate popped up I might not agree with it.

The same applies to some posts I get paid to write or distribute.
