Hello everyone...

It's been a while...So far, 2008 has been really stressful for me. It is my final semester at CBS and I've got a lot of work to do before the end of June:

  • One bachelor dissertation about EU
  • One essay about symbols and branding
  • One essay about marketing
  • One essay about the legislation process in EU
  • Two 2½ hour exams
  • Three oral exams

And on top of that I need to figure out what to do when I get my degree...should I continue my studies to get my candidate degree or should I look for a job and start my career? It's all very confusing and to be honest I don't cope well with huge decisions...I get very stressed!

I have managed to knit two pair of socks so far...

I've almost finished a pair of Charade and yesterday I began working on "Vår Sjal".

A new pair of socks for Daniel. They were really fast to knit and he's loving them :o)

Christmas is just around the corner and right now I'm really looking forward to the party the girls and I are having on Dec. 14...but before I can let my hair down, I need to finish 3 exam assignments...better get going...

I had plans to actually go to school today, but I think I'll just stay home and read instead. I hate Tuesdays at school, we've got 2 subjects, and it's something we've already had on earlier semesters! It's just such a waste of time showing up...on top of that the teacher is really not that inspiring...see how I'm trying to convince myself that it's okay to stay home *lol*</p> <p>This weekend we experienced a bit of <a href="http://www.berlingske.dk/article/20071006/koebenhavn/710060340/">rioting</a> in Vanløse. Squatters wanted to occupy a house on Grøndalsvænge Alle 13, but the police didn't quite agree to the plan so around 450 persons were arrested. Luckily the rioting wasn't half as bad as when <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faderhuset">Faderhuset</a> <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6414481.stm">evicted</a> the squatters from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ungdomshuset">Ungdomshuset</a> in March 2007. I agree that the local council shouldn't have sold Ungdomshuset in the first place, but I seriously don't agree with the violent methods the squatters are using. Violence should never be rewarded! My truths:

  1. I love to read crime and horror books like those by Patricia Cornwell, though I often get horrible nightmares because of them
  2. I can come across as being arrogant, but it's just because I'm often insecure when I'm around new people...bear with me, I'm really a very friendly person
  3. I LOVE all kinds of animals! But I still scream when I see a spider...
  4. I'm dead scared of syringes...I've only had one blood sample taken in all my life and I don't plan on getting any more done...
  5. In continuation of my syringes phobia I hate my veins...I hate the whole idea of having veins and I can't stand looking at either my own or others...(yep, I'm a nut case)
  6. I am not able to throw away books...no matter how bad it is, a book is not leaving my house once it's gotten in.
  7. I'm left-handed and get very upset when people calls me "kejthåndet". Directly translated it means something like "awkward/wrong handed". The meaning being that left-handed people are not as clever or smart as right-handed people...I really really hate the word "kejthåndet"! Read more about lefties here.
