Busy working on so many differing projects behind the scenes and coping with the emotional fall out of being plummeted into the world of BCC Breast Cancer CLinic

I know nobody wants this invite at all but when the Government works so hard to ensure we only have 2 weeks to wait for testing its churlish to not be thankful.

As much as I love my native country its a shambles !
The promised 2 week is actually 5-6 if you are lucky in your areA.

The problem LACK OF RADIOGRAPHERS.

This country has no doubt stopped foreign students studying here.

Its a terrifying time indeed and yes you need to do this but you want to but you do not.

what you cannot cope with is WAITING.

Normal rational thinking goes out of the window- you cry at a spiders web wondering if you will see another. It is normal to feel fear of change in your normal life but damage is done by this if extended.

Discovering this latest round of Government alterations I decided to be “in charge’ and fund private care.

I researched carefully my chosen surgeon I would place in chsrge of my diagnosis and any treatment if needed.

A journey yes 1hour 20 from home.

it was all completed in 2 days of making contact.

Working this month with Earth Pigments which is just another dimension to colour cloth be it linen or cotton or my favourites silk and wool. Today I decided to use only 2 colours Honister Green and Black.

Small samples were used in my various choices. It has taught me a lot about how the pigments bond to the cloth.

I have Angie’s book Stitch, Cloth Paper and Paint which I often dip into.

Transfer powders arrived and I was all prepared and praying the internet would not let me down.Three hours flew by and in no time I was just busy prepping linen and cotton and looking at my small samples of cloth from Whaley’s

I learnt a lot experimenting myself and I need to create deeper colours, though having said that the most amazing occurrence was whilst doing the hot press, when I placed an Ikea ‘pure cotton’ tea cloth to protect my ironing board and the prints which came on there were amazing. Perhaps the cloth was polyester cotton.

The most exciting samples were on the small man made fabric samples from Whaleys and I will certainly be ordering more especially the viscose linen and the beautiful voile.

My next experiment will be thickening this transfer paint to enable me to print with it or even screen it.

I bought for £1 a very sad leggy wilting rhododendron about 10 years ago as I felt sorry for the neglect that had happened.

I found the perfect spot just under my favourite tree the Grandpa in my garden a stunning beech tree planted from my old garden just as we bought this place – long before it was even habitable.

It’s gone through the seasons just growing stronger and quite happy with lovely leaf growth. A few weeks ago I looked out of my bathroom window up the shingle path past the log store towards the Beech and there above the edging railway sleeper this glorious bloom was just unfolding.

She is stunning her marking so beautiful and I have 3 blooms getting prettier day by day.

Nature amazes me daily but this was one big surprise and I love the markings on this rhododendron whose name I do not know but to me she is Surprise. Thank you m

What a time I have had. Accepting I needed help moving websites and blogs around and bringing my Knitting world into my Felting world and vice versa I teamed up with EXPLOTECH.

Remember that word! At first it was fine but quickly I realised their agenda was not mine but I kept on and on explainimg the vision being emphatic it must be all ‘in-house’ at WordPress. They constantly lied to me and even asked directly lied.

All finished and I asked them if they were done and off they went.

First thing the header is wrong so I go into WordPress to alter it – I know WordPress a lot and the guys will help me if I am stuck

I am quickly stuck and sinking up to my knees in ELEMENTOR which I have no clue it’s like a foreign language and here is the sickening moment when the WordPress guys tell me that EXPLOTECH have used a plug in and my lovely tech guys at WordPress don’t support them so cannot help you even though I have shelled out for Premium Pro service.

Now what I can read all the words see all the imagery it’s just how it’s all joined up scrambles my brain. Closing everything down I give myself a ‘ tough’ chat ( cry)

Right I re-read and re-watch the instructional video until finally the penny starts to drop and YES I can alter my site to reflect my vision. It took me hours but I have done it. What have I learnt ‘ IF something looks too good to be true like EXPLOTECH then it usually is. Nick and Dave are not their real names and I hope to never come across them again. TRUST your gut instinct you know it will not let you down. Work on getting my money back – you bet I will.
