Godrej is one of the best locking solutions, we ever have. They have a wide range of pad lock series. There goal is to "Higher the key combination, safer is your home." Even KNOBSKART has also sent a shipment of a selected Godrej padlocks to the USA.

Strength of the Lock Body

When a trespassers uses force to break or damage the lock to gain entry. A good, sturdy lock will always prevent forced entry. All Godrej locks undergo thorough & rigorous life cycle tests, as well as load-bearing tests to prove their strength before they reach to you.

Master Key

Lock made using this technology allow the user to have a single key for a maximum set of locks used, provided the locks are of the same technology level.

Lever

A lever is a lock design that uses flat pieces of metal (also known as levers) and a bolt as locking components. In most designs, the position of the levers prevents the bolt from retracting. When positioned properly, a gate in the lever allows the bolt to move (shot or withdrawn).

A cylinder lock is a locking mechanism that enables a mortise lock case for locking and unlocking function via a key.

The Cylinder locks are commonly known as:

Euro Cylinder Lock

Euro Profile Cylinders

Profile Cylinder Lock

Mortise Cylinder

The main advantage of a cylinder lock mechanism over lever lock mechanism is that the cylinder can be changed in future without altering the handle and the mortise lock or changing the size of mortise lock pocket/cut-out. The changing of cylinder lock in future is an easy process, which requires only loosening a set of screws and then sliding the cylinder out of the door.

It allows the users to combine itself with wide range mortise locks such as sash, deadbolt, nightlatch, bathroom lock and sliding lock. It also allows the users to use different thickness of doors.

We offer some common types of cylinder locks such as:

Key and Knob Cylinder – a cylinder lock that has a key slot on one side and a turn able knob on the other side. These cylinders are also known as thumbturn cylinder. These are ideal for rooms that require controlled access from one side of the room and easy access from the other side. These are ideal for a bedroom, where the knob is inside the room and the key slot on the outer side of the room door. These can also be used bathroom doors. If these are used for a main/entrance door, please use it with an additional Deadbolt to enhance the security level. We generally offer only equidistance (from the center of the screw hole) cylinders.

Mortise Lock are locks for doors that are fixed within the Wooden/Plywood Door. These are fixed inside a pocket/cut-out into the edge of a door. They are called as mortice lock in British English. They are the most common type of door handle locks used in India and many differed parts of the world. The common types of mortise locks are sash (has a latchbolt & deadbolt) deadbolt (only has a deadbolt). There are two types of lock mechanism such as cylinder and lever. The mortise locks that use cylinder lock mechanism have a case that requires cylinder locks to enable the deadbolt’s locking and unlocking function via a key.
