This is a great mixtape that came out a few years ago – if my memory serves me correct. Anyways, Floyd The Locsmif and DJ Jamad bust out some great blends on this mixtape. I am still loving the Jay video. Really, I think the visuals and song upped the game for alot of artists out there. If he can stay consistent with this vibe, Blueprint 3 can be another classic. So apparently Jay-Z wouldn’t let Chris Brown take the stage at the BET Awards last night. Rumors are flying around that Jay-Z heard that Chris Brown was going to do a tribute to Michael Jackson, and told BET that if they let him do that, Jay would cancel his performance. Chris Brown reportedly rehearsed for three days before the show and was abruptly told that he wasn’t going to be going on stage.

Oh ya, did I tell you that it is Jay-Z day today?

I saw this a few days ago but JGILLA urged me to really watch this today. I must say, I got that “Obama feeling” about this record. Although I can’t understand one word from Damian Marley when he is not singing, doesn’t mean his music is not powerful. I also see the potential that a fellow artist can inspire Nas to bring back his spiritual and political lyricism. And it doesn’t hurt that someone else is helping him pick beats. I’m excited for this project!
