Sunday . 修成林之行 .

2010-08-19T14:59:00.001+08:00

What a lovely Sunday ? I and my family woke up early in the morning . Family who get up at 8am on Sunday ? Kinda weird right ? Cause we got plan ! A Good Plan !

We went to 修成林. Place where my grandparents being超度. I miss my grandmum. Chicken rice with a lot of mushroom and also purple colored flower makes me miss her. I got no memory with my grandpa cause he passed away I'm at aged of 1 . Doesn't matter ! Still we came and "talk" to them.

修成林is a well organised Buddhist community at KL. Here are some photos captured. In fact, they don't allow photo capture. Hehe.

After all, we went to 海外天restaurant for a brunch. 点心is supposed to be small and delicate. Why ! Their dimsum is freaking huge ! Even 烧卖also can't put in mouth one shoot~ Speechless...

My Evil Cousin Brother

He is the most naughty but creative , no manners but funny and also smart little brother. Some people in my big family dislike him , for me , If i can ignore what he said which is bad then is fine. But when he tells bad about others , that was really fun. His name is Marcus . My conclusion, Marcus is a Evil name. Don't address your child with Marcus.

Good Deal with Lowyat sellers

2010-08-13T14:49:00.002+08:00

Nice coming back to home. Cause I got both my order yesterday. The first item was Logitech S150 speaker cost me RM45. *Thanks Dear Yan for purchasing this for me* Finally !! I got full set logitech PC peripheral.. Muahahaha... Next item was my ZARA basic tee (relaxed fit). Definitely authentic. How much does it cost ? RM26 only which is half price cheaper then retail shop.

I can't wait to test them on !!! At first, I tried my tee. That's good and relax, suits casual activities.
And then, my speaker !! I test it with my lappie in fact. How to test its quality ? Here is some of my suggestion and ways.

Click on your sound icon
Go to speaker and headphones properties
Go to advance
Most 24bits (studio quality) 192000 hz
Turn up the volume till max
Use your ear and listen. How was the sound ?
Without broken sound.
Satisfied with your speaker ?

Speaker is not the only element which gives you good sound effect But sound card did. Sound card is now up to 7.1 if I'm not mistaken. Editor's product is one of the best sound device as Lowyat people used to say.
I have not much interest in sound device. For more info, go lowyat forum to seek for helps.

The impacts of Facebook

2010-08-11T21:36:00.033+08:00

Facebook. The main thing of our daily routine.Would you feel not well if you didnt login facebook for even one day ?? I trust that you will. Facebook-ing brings us joy and also sad thing. So,lets go deep with the below statements.

How much time will you spend everyday on Facebook ? For me 30mins per day to check out friends' status and update my status as well. For some people, they might spend whole day for chatting and looking for hotties then ADD them ! Thats what some guys used to do. Admit if you did. LoL... Time spending too lots on fb ? Is a bad impact ? It depends on your time management.

Next , we found one advantage from fb is that we can't really meet up our primary school friends or even neighbors and seldom-contact relatives. 500 million people all around the world are actively using Facebook to stay connected with their friends and the people around them Thats the good things. And fb didn't charge $ for the usage even some ""stupid" posted rubbish always. Spamming rubbish~

But recently I found something bad on fb.Based on the source getting from Pc world online, about 23% of time spent online been used to visit Facebook. That was huge number of them ! Now more people will be more-hours on social networking sites, leading to teenagers do not know how to communicate normally. It cause people loss of interest in REAL social activities.

In addition! Privacy setting on facebook was not secured. Few days before I downloaded a file and generator uploaded by our hacker, Ron Bowles. The system collect up profile info of more than 1 million users and free for download at PirateBay.com (biggest pirate of the internet which being lock up by USA government months before but now has been released).
Had you become "download"able object ? Check here . Good Luck~

Conclusion ~ There perfection and also imperfection of every single matter. Make good use of it so it means good to you ok ?

P/S : Althought I downloaded the generator but please do not leave me comment then ask for my favor to check others profile. I won't do that for anyone !

When will Google comes to Malaysia ?

2010-08-08T20:49:00.000+08:00

As the title above, here is my question " when will Google comes to Malaysia ? ". This is a myth. But I knew that most of you guys who study as a IT/CS student really hope to work for Google. Me too.Google was one of the 100 Best Companies to work for at 2008. P/S : I trust it still the best for 2010 or even 2080

If you’re Google addict, you should be proud of Hanson Toh and Colin Wong. They are both blogger who have receive payment from Google throught Google Adsense for few years. Being a blogger, freedom is the most important element. They did it as a full time blogger since Google Adsense is paying them "excellent payment".

Google did offer jobs for students. But not in Malaysia. Why ? I am waiting for it. No matter work as internship or part-time, it must be a great time.

Couple's Day Out 30/7/2010

2010-08-06T17:19:00.001+08:00

Here comes the Friday, which we planned to go to E@Curve Cathay for movie.I and Dear Yan reached there by 11am so that we managed to watch early bird movie , named as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice".
Nicolas Cage is one of the most important element of the movie. Who is he ? The National Treasure's actor ! People used to say that. Me too before I search for his name. Why was he so important ? Because he is the Sorcerer (level 777 Magician) who is going to teach Prime Merlinian as to be a Great Man and destroy the Evil.Thats it.A movie filled with graphics and sounds effect which is quite high quality and 25% comedy element and 75% of excitiment. Movie with 100% comedy or 100% excitiment is freaking boring. As my opinion , the storyline and flow is good.

After all, we came to Daily Fresh beside Kim Gary and bought 2 waffle ! Crispy waffle ! Yeahu~ I took the peanut +chocolate waffle, however Dear Yan took kaya + marjerin waffle. Satisfaction 60 %. So we decided to try out Mcdonald's new burger- GCB which titled as "limited time only". GCB probably stand for Grilled Chicken Burger. After we taste it, what we think is that the title "limited time only" definitely won't bring us nightmare or fear ! Cause it was just a normal burger but I have highly expect on it !! Dammit~

I am FAT !!!

Looks like the same only ~~~

While I and Dear Yan are chatting there. We met our friend hang out with their juniors. Friends that I meant are Cola Wong and Hui Teng. They are currently go on their Form 6 study life.Did you find anything wrong ? Is friday ! How come they are outing ? Yes ! Truancy. just like we,college or uni students did frequently.

Since I and Dear Yan got nothing to buy so we leave at 4pm.
P/S : I got sutff to buy but just money-less. Haiz.. YTN ! pls give me $.

RIM's BlackPad

2010-08-03T11:06:00.000+08:00

Touch-Screen Tablet, hot item of the year which first presented by Lenovo if I'm not mistaken. But who makes TS tablet comes to the peak of PC world ? For sure is our most fashionable brand in PC world ! Apple-iPad.Weeks before I did write a post about HP slate which categorize as TS tablet too.Now comes the new competator, RIM.

RIM is the short form of Research In Motion. Does it looks familiar ? Yup. RIM is one kind of smartphone OS which being used widely over 5 years and also the most phone OS market share holder.
My equation is "Blackberry" + "RIM OS" = Classic.

Now have a look of it and some info about BlackPad.

News sources said RIM's BlackPad will be about the same size as the iPad and include both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so users can connect to the Internet through smartphones. The price is expected to be close to the iPad, which currently starts at $499.

But some differences I had discover. BlackPad have no 3G cellular connection as what iPad did have. BlackPad is using bluetooth to share a BlackBerry's 3G connection to get on the Web. As simple as that, you have to get a full set of RIM's product in order make them fully utilised. That might be a excellent marketing skill but it might fail too. How about the embedded OS ?? Even Cnet and ZDnet's writer also don't have information on it. Don't expect from me please. Time by time, I will update infos about BlackPad cause I am really interesting with how will he going to beat iPad.

Extra: Based on the source from Techdaily. RIM company had bought http://www.blackpad.com/. It means that RIM is serious on this product and can't afford to be another iPhone 4.

Mike Lazaridis' Quote : " We try to use best-in-class processors for all those technologies. Intel offers us the best platform moving forward. "
Who is this fella ?
Answer : Founder of RIM.

Learn some new things from Jacky Chan

2010-07-31T09:14:00.000+08:00

First and foremost, I would like to say Thanks to Jacky as he had told me a lot of new things which I might not know currently.

So~What's the new things ? Is some advices and also 2 new software (hacking tools), Aircrack-ng (Window) and Kismet (Linux). Is time to install my Ubuntu 10.02 so that I could try Kismet on how it works. Aircrack-ng and Kismet seems to be having similar system and purpose based on what I saw. In fact, I haven't try anyone of both yet. Cause I need to prepare for my coming midterm exam.

Regarding to what Jacky told me, we can choose to do pure programming rather than trying those hacking tools. But what in my mind is HACKING brings more fun than programming. And I hope so that I could handle it.

As my opinion, practicing is the best way to conquer programming since my instructor said I am not talented guy .Even thought I'm not but still I will keep it on. Practice make perfect.

“Every single Microsoft employee will get a windows phone 7″

2010-07-29T13:02:00.002+08:00

“Every single Microsoft employee will get a windows phone 7″ announced at ZDnet few days ago. Look !!
How can it sounds familiar ? Heard before ? Who did it before ? You are right ! Google.Inc did it.
Google handed out G1’s as a holiday bonus. That was a great idea to test your products before it launched and being flame. Maybe thats the reason why Microsoft repeat the same thing. If you are the employee which work for Microsoft at least 1 year you might get it. If you reach the requirement but you didnt get it. Opsss.. Your boss might considering to fire you.

The logo was simple and nice! Will the product be like this too ?

Simple and nice appearance

Look at our "free talker". The "legendary CEO" give a speech on WP7.

P/S : He didnt tell anything wrong. That was surprising part.

Mobile World Congress 2010 became interesting cause of WP7 ! One question please ! How about Window Mobile then ? They are competitive with own product? WM6.5 might be the end of WM generation as what I guessed.
I honestly wasn't expecting much from Microsoft.

How can Microsoft do so ? Here is some features that others product might not have or didnt do well.
1) Slim in size (S = Slim)
2) Built-in Wi-Fi (supports up to 802.11n)
3) 250GB HDD
4) Lighter and smaller
5) Removal of LED (malfunction frequently)

HP slate is copycat ? Or A Better iPad ?

2010-07-24T16:16:00.000+08:00

How should I start this ? LOL... I saw an article inadvertently at HP official website... Did you ever heard about HP slate 500 ? I did !!! Just before iPad launched (as what I recall in my mind is April 2010), HP announced that they are going to co-operate with Microsoft in order to get HP slate 500 "implement-able". JUST after HP bought Palm Incorporated, something is wrong with the project ! HP stopped the project ! But why ?

What I guess is that Window OS not execute well in HP slate 500 so that HP decided to "swallow" Palm Incorporated which enable HP to use the skills and technique of Palm OS. Mastermind right ? ? But this is possible.

I trusted that HP as the most PC market share holder, he could build a better "Pad" then Apple If HP put afford. Please! Produce more competitive power in Notebook market! We need better!

M.I.T Lecturer Series @ Mandarin Oriental Hotel

2010-07-24T15:33:00.000+08:00

Today was a really special ,extraordinary day..Guess why ? Let me give you some hints. What will makes you felt annoying on Saturday ? Is it lecture on Saturday ? For sure... No one hope for lecture on weekend ! But I did attend M.I.T lecture series powered by Accenture .

At 10am sharp I reached at Mandarin Oriental Hotel which is just located right hand side of KLCC. The hotel was grand and huge. That was exciting and keep me in "high" emotion. After my registration done, I get into the Diamond ballroom and have a seat which provided clear and nice view of stage.

Erm... photo might not be clear enough..

Right wing

Left wing

Anyway, the important part comes. What did I learn today ? The first thing they show us was some brain washing videos about accenture, I will find out the reality of it,since ICT world was filled with lies.LOL. 30%-40% of the participants are Accenture staff. They came to support their company's activity, that was normal. Be supportive ! Next ! I found that almost 60% of the participants are girls ! This prove that girl is ego learning then guys ? My answer is Maybe ?!

Second thing which I was deeply impressed is a simple Sentence speak by Goh Aik Meng,Accenture senior executive. He said : "In fact, we did things quietly but effectively !" Impressed me ! Go deep with whatever a successful person said, because they think before they say so. (except Steve Ballmer <<< non-sense speaker)

Next, the main part of lecture started . The Professor of E&E and Computer Science from MIT gave a 2 hours of lecture about the Future Technology. The title was IT in Year 2020 with collective intelligent.

As my knowledge was not much, I couldn't really understand what and how does Cloud Computing and Crowd Computing works but at least I got to know How is works and how important of it in the future world.

Some interesting thing I get to know today was the Amazon Machines Turk website. Here is the link . Quite funny website which helps people solve problem although it might not be too effective. Haha. Besides that Google App Engine is also a great thing that provided to the world with convenient.

O! Ya! except knowledge, Accenture gave us goodies bag too.A small bag with contain a cute USB hub.

As to be a USB hub. Undoubtedly it is cute.

Thats all for today.

The Top 14 Most Influential People on the Web Part 1

2010-07-02T18:49:00.003+08:00

First of all I would like to say Thanks to authors of business week.com which most of my sources and materials comes from.

Are you ready for these ?

1)Tim Berners Lee- the Inventor of World Wide Web

Same as I,many people would say : "Oh Thanks Tim !!" Because of Tim so that we can surf every dam web freely. Tim is a British Computer Engineer that implemented the first successful communication between HTTP client and server via Internet. So, how about the 1st Web site in the world ? Here is the link .

Tim is now work with UK Government in order to make data more open and accessible on the Web so that data acquired for official purpose are free re-use.

2)Steve Ballmer- The current CEO of Microsoft (Microsoft.com)

In facts, Ballmer is not a computer engineer but B.A in economic and mathematics. So what he does in order to influence the WEB ? Lol... In 1980, he has discontinued his studies in Stanford University Graduate School of Business and join Microsoft. Ballmer joined Microsoft at 11 of June 1980 , the first business manager hired by Gates.

When Microsoft was incorporated in 1981, Ballmer owned 8 percent of the company. As CEO Ballmer handled company finances, however Gates still retained control of the "technological vision."

Why was he listed in ? I was impressed by him when I saw his interview on youtube! He said :" Sorry~Vista was not execute well." Yea~ thats it ! The courage to apologise and admit that they are wrong.

Something is legend about him : Ballmer is the second person after Roberto Goizueta (Chairman of Coca-cola) to become a billionaire in U.S. dollars based on stock options received as an employee of a corporation in which he was neither a founder nor a relative of a founder.

3)Mitchell Baker- Chairperson of Mozilla Corporation (Mozilla.org)

Erm... She was actually trained as a lawyer. She did coordinate business and policy issue of Mozilla. In 2005, Time magazine included her in its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Lets look deep~same as Steve Ballmer, she is neither a programmer or techno people!

Baker was instrumental in the creation of the Mozilla Foundation, an independent non-profit that was launched on July 15, 2003 as America Online shut down the Netscape browser.

Seriously I was surprise and wondering why and how could Mozilla Firefox grow rapidly ? Rapid might not be strong enough to describe.Haha.The launching of Firefox browser four years ago, Microsoft IE was in her sights. Now, Firefox's market share has risen to nearly 20% while IE's has slipped from 95% to 72%, and most Web sites treat all browsers equally.

Extra : As I know Firefox is faced with a threat, Google Chrome Browser. Competitive forces Firefox to do their best. Fair and Easy ? Can the fired fox defeat Giant ?
