I am thinking of how my life is going...
I talked to a friend last night.
He said that to be happy live a simple life.

But I found it a lil absurd.
coz If your goal in life is just to be happy,
well you are bound for so much disappointments.

and being simple?
come on, simple is relative.
what is simple to one is complicated to another.

In my point of view, life is not about happiness
it's about experiencing and learning.
be it happiness, sadness or anything that comes in between.

And life itself will never be simple.
It's a complicated twist and turn of everyone's fates.

Are we master's of our fate?

How to Handle Changes

It's been a while since I last blogged, I was too busy editing a lot of pictures I took for some clients. My work got lagged because of a lot of untoward incidences happening lately...But I'm trying my best to be OK now...My birthday is coming up soon, I want to be happy and gorgeous that day..:).Hope you can all be with me to celebrate..

Anyhow, today I wanna talk about Dealing with Changes.. this can be applicable to your personal life and relationships

To be able to handle changes in life One must have a strong foundation and Commitment. Life evolves, issues arise and circumstances shift.The key to surviving the passage of time and changes that come along is a rock-solid foundation. How you cooperate, communicate and process with each other is the true basis of your relationship and what will ultimately determine how you collectively weather both storms and sunshine.

Now if you see that you have done everything in your relationship and the other party always leaves you behind ,has no commitment and can not communicate well...It's time to find a new team mate...Because it's bound to fail...and you'd end up in pieces...

Don't wait for it to happen.Find someone else whom you can have a strong foundation.

My Thoughts About our Country's Government

Lately, disaster happened in our country, and it clearly showed what kind of government the Philippines has...

There were no flood controls, not enough budget for calamities, poor relief operations, poor quality of roads and highways, disorganized weather reports, and so much more...

Typhoons and storms are usual happenings in our country, the latest flooding is not the first.
How come the Government didn't anticipate the need for flood control and protection relief and emergency budget allocation. And that is just the tip of the iceberg, there are still many dirt left to be exposed...

Our people have been working their asses off just to pay taxes... where are all these money going? I know for a fact that Filipinos are not lazy people. A lot are sacrificing being with their families just to work day in and out just to support their loved ones.Some to the extent of being in a far away country , fighting their homesickness just to provide decent lives for their family.

But only to know that even they've almost used up all their sweat and blood , some politicians are just hoarding the taxes these people pay, To satisfy their selfish desires.
You see them having more than what they need and ignoring the clamor of people in need.

But you see, there is always a way to change everything
Small becomes big if we work together..

now that voting time is coming near. you know what to do. we need fresh new blood to lead our country... the disaster showed what kind of governance we actually have.

And to those corrupt politicians, I hope you can still sleep well in your comfy palatial houses, knowing that what you have right now is what killed a lot of dreams and lives of the people who served you well...

A Storm in my Life

Recently I experienced the worst nightmare in my life... It was a Saturday morning, I just woke up... My mom told me that she was uneasy because she sees that there is flooding in our street...

I just told myself... oh its nothing, its just one of those ordinary drizzles.

Then I noticed water on our floor, higher and higher..
that time I realised it was no ordinary rain..
so I scrambled to get all my stuff on a high place coz we do not have a second floor...

But it was a li bit too late...flash flood came and I am seeing right in front of my eyes the water washing away almost all our stuff. All these while I was on top of our refrigerator.

I wanted to cry but I didn't, I wanted to be strong for my mom so I just hugged her.
It's like we are in the middle of the river...

All I could think abut is when will this will be over?...
I didn't care anymore for the material things, I said to God that just keep us alive so we could start anew...

I even told my mom... "Ma mas malala pa nga yung baha dati sa makati nung bata ako e...wala to" (mom, remember when I was a kid? the floods in makati, it was worse...) ...my futile attempt to veer her attention from the disaster even just for a lil while.

"Mas maganda na to kesa masunugan" (This is better than having our house burnt...)

A lil funny but sad...

I just prayed...prayed hard..
I realize then, that I was only calling God during times of disaster, but forgetting Him in times of happiness...

Because of the shock I didn't notice that one of my dogs was swept away....
I couldn't save her because the flood was too high....we had to climb up our roof top...

That was when the first teardrop fell...

while tears were fast falling in my eyes the tears from heaven decided to calm down...

Floods went down, revealing our things ruined...television, sofa, computer, cameras, beds,...all ruined...

But my spirit is strong, From the moment the rain stopped, I took a shovel...and took out all the mud and water inside our house...started cleaning... House ruined but my spirit is still whole.

I said to myself...Everything will be all right...

Now I am starting anew.

I went to quiapo yesterday to go to to the church,the church was jampacked because filipinos are mostly Catholics, after the mass, I decided to take a stroll at Quiapo to look for things to buy, Quiapo is so busy, there's a lot of cheap things you can buy here. I bought suman (rice cakes), fortune plant and grater for just 100pesos !!!(the ones you see on TV sold for P2ooo++).

But what really caught my attention were the sex pills and toys they were selling on the streetsides,I am a very curious guy you know! The seller told me that the pills can make your performance last long up to 3 rounds and your dingdong won't limp plus it's also a delayer.So even if I didn't need it, I bought some pills for only P150 to see if his claims were true, the seller didnt have enough change so he just gave me a cock ring instead (which by the way I never have tried before). :)

Today, I wanna share my thoughts about romantic relationships..

There is no perfect person, and there are no perfect relationships. All of us have our flaws. Sometimes the person you thought was a very dashing debonair or a beautiful sweet lady sweeping you off your feet on the start of your relationship, turns out to look like the wicked witch you wanna burn alive when time pass by.

But don't fret. There is a solution for that..and it's communication.
a healthy communication that is.

It's easier said than done.Because sometimes pride gets in the way, and one party might not want to succumb to the other's point of view.

The key here is to be open minded , I've heard one of my idol Borgy Manotoc say that in a relationship, you live 3 lives, 1 for yourself, 1 for your partner and 1 for the relationship.
When resolving your issues be selfless and consider the 3rd life (relationship)

The witch is not really a witch, she/he just turned that way because you are seeing the bad in him/her...Try to remember the things that made u fall in love for that person. Reminisce the good memories...Plan and make good things together, so you would have more to treasure and make you bond more. Maybe you could Play, Joke, Sing, Cook , go on Picnic, Go to the Beach together.A Great Relationship is being at each others side no matter what happens.

If you want to have a lasting relationship, COMMUNICATE.Not everyone is born a psychic.
Share your thoughts to your partner and deliver it in a nice loving way (even if you feel like shouting!!!)..breathe in , breathe out... In that way, you guys can sort out the problem and find solutions for it.

I love taking care of myself, look good and feel good. That's why I only choose the best when it comes to my face and body care. Last week I tried out the body scrub and skin whitening treatment at RdR Face & Body Wellness Center...the staff there are so nice and accomodated me well... It started out with a relaxing face and body cleansing using a sweet smelling cleansing foam, after which they gently scrubbed my old dead skin cells away using their pure and natural mineral salts and lastly they spread their whitening cream which stayed on my skin for 45 mins...Then off to the shower room to wash off....Voila! Last night I lost 1000 pesos because I am too tired from work. I think i lost it while I was pulling money out of my jean's pocket ot pay my cab fare....

I also found out that a very close friend of mine was lying about money stuff...which really disappointed me, because he always tells me to have dignity when it comes to earning dough...and eventually i found out that he is not practicing what he is preaching...

then today, when i tried to withdraw money out of my BDO ATM Card in SM Sta.Mesa, the stupid ATM Machine froze up for so looooooong, so i cancelled the transaction, yet still deducted my money from my Bank's Total balance. I immediately called their hotline to complain.They told me that they will investigate and will take 3 to 5 business days to find out what they can do. Stupid BDO!!! I later found out that some customers who queued at the same machine got into thye same shit I was in earlier.

Hey BDO! here is my message to you guys: If your ATM Machine is not working well, at least have it shut down completely so it wont put us in so much troubles.We worked hard for our money...If you do not resolve this ASAP. I bid goodbye to your Banking Business.

Anyways, I wanna shove all the bad luck away...breathe in, breath out....Anger is also a form of energy so, I am converting it to positive energy...So I will think about goodness...I know that there will be Good things that will come out of this...I believe it so it shall be. Bad Luck I bid you to go away and Good Luck come to me always ...

I've read that a goal without a deadline is a Daydream. So I wanna have washboard abs by the end of September. Grrrrr.I've been lazy these past few months and I was eating too much that's why I'm getting out of shape. But I'm not yet fat, it's just that my body definition is slightly missing. haha. What's with the girls of Venezuela that they keep on winning the Olympics of Beauty Pageants - Miss Universe. It is a back to back win for Venzuela for 2008 and 2009, the crowns were won by Dayana Mendoza and Stefania Fernandez respectively...Great huh?

On the other hand, the Philippines hasn't been in the top 15 since 2000. (please correct me if I'm wrong). Lat time I believe was when Miriam Quiambao almost snatched the crown by being the 1st runner up...But who remember runner ups???...My 2 cents thought about it? I think Philippine's reps lacks training and support from their National Directors...although they are beautiful, the overall packaging is not complete...Just like in sports Olympics, everything should be near perfect, the body,the makeup, the clothes, the walk, hands, hair, hips,eyes, eyelashes,lips, the promotional pictures, press publicity,the way the girl talks... etc...

If I were the National Director for Miss Philippines , I would choose a representative at least a year away from the International Pageant, to give time to practice and polish every aspect of her. Have her enhanced through cosmetic surgery if needed...Let's face it. It's a beauty pageant and it is still an entertainment show.

Inner & natural beauty is good, but for this kind of race Outer beauty is essential to lead the pack.We are not looking for the next Mother Teresa here aint we?

I think I already have a lot of followers from different countries now...
but I havent told so much about me..and I'd like to share few thoughts that I think is about me...

What i can say about me is that before, I was conceited and I admit that, but now I changed,.. I am now perfect. Just kidding... I am still conceited...... and perfect...kidding again!

Seriously, I am loving' life, I wanna experience all the great things it has to offer. That's why you'd see me trying out different things..i am hungry for knowledge, especially those in the arts , spirituality and how mind works. I also like Mathematics.I think math exists everywhere, and should be properly applied...I even think that if we know how to properly equate everything including our emotions, we would be happier and more satisfied.

On the lighter side,I also like different foods from different cultures,that's why I hate dieting.I especially love Cheeses,cheesecake and chocolate cake. I also like home cooked meals better than those that is store bought...maybe because i feel there is more passion and care put into home cooked meals...I also like cooking, but only fast dishes , such as what Rachael ray does.I can whip a full course meal in 30 mins. or less.

I like to look my best all the time,it's not vanity, I just feel that my body deserves the best attention it can get, after all, it's the only one I've got and if i look good I make a lot of people happy just by looking at me. haha.I absolutely believe that age is only in the mind, being young forever is possible.

and obviously, I like a good laugh, but don't get me wrong, I am not a happy go lucky guy, I also like smart talks, just the right balance of witty and funny conversations,that is what i like. Honestly this page is not enough to tell about me, because as what was said by Oscar Wilde- "to define is to limit"

I just bought this Starbucks tumbler form Starbucks glorieta 4, costs me P450. It looks exactly like the plastic cups where they put their fraps and juices but only way harder and has a rubber seal on the lid to prevent drinks form spilling. It also comes with a built in straw... I tried it at home and I mixed up some mango juice powder with water and ice and poured it over my new Starbucks tumbler, and you know what? it felt like I really bought the juice at Starbucks...hahaha. I guess I'd buy a few more and have my friends come over and have a faux Starbucks party ..by the way the juice is only 10 pesos per liter.(thanks tang!) You guys should be paying me for advertising you here...kidding!
So if i feel like grabbing a starbucks, id just whip out my tumbler, it'll saves me lots of dough!

Food Tripping at NORTH Park

Here I am again, satisfying my desires for food...and siomai!!!
so I decided to eat at North Park Chinese Resto at Glorietta 5..I ate a lot of stuff there...The place is quite packed. But still they managed to accomodate us, I ordered chicken feet, siomai, egg noodles with beef, spring rolls, iced tea, soy chicken and rice served with special ginger sauce....the food was great and it's quite reasonable for the price....I really had a big tummy after eating..but hey it's worth it...I don't believe in dieting.haha. as long as you know how to burn what you eat, its OK to eat a lot once in a while, especially if it's yummy.... I give North Park Glorietta 5 8 spoons out of 10, needs more improvement on cleaning up their tables, maybe they dont have enough staff, but overall its good. We didnt waited for so long to have our food served. Im gonna go back. Wanna join??? :P
