Kollaboration New York is back for the seventh year, bringing the nation’s biggest Asian-American talent show to New York!

Chosen performance artists will be competing against each other for the $1000 grand
prize, the opening act for Clara C’s NYC tour, and a chance to compete at the finale show
in LA in November!

Basic Requirements:

  • Demonstrates a passion for the Asian and Pacific Islander community
  • Access to email and Internet at least 5 days a week
  • Access to email on mobile phones is highly advised
  • Commitment to a one-year term
  • Time Commitment (ranges depending on position) — 5-20 hours per week
  • Must commit to selling tickets to the Kollaboration New York Show
  • Must participate in all team meetings and calls.
  • Must be able to attend a Team planning retreat on February 11-12

Attention all Kollaboration fans! We are proud to announce that L.A. based rapper Dumbfoundead will officially be MC-ing our 2011 show on September 29 at Irving Plaza! Dumbfoundead will be co-hosting alongside Kollaboration Global President Roy Choi, and performing a special set for our audience with DJ Zo. We are very excited to have Dumbfoundead on board as he has made a name for himself through his unique rhymes and support for the Asian American community. He has been known for years in the underground hip-hop scene by taking over rap battles and has a strong web presence with close to 3 million YouTube views. Dumbfoundead has also collaborated with well known artists such as Jay Park, Epik High, Jin and Clara C, among others. Dumbfoundead was the Kollaboration Hip Hop 2009 winner.
