I digress...

The one good thing to come out of this split is that Conny Bloom has returned to his roots so to speak and the Electric Boys are back, and more so, I'm off to see them play in London tonight, and that's certainly something that's got me excited.

While they might not be one of the most well known bands of their era, they certainly knew how to write some kick ass tunes, and I thought I'd bring you one of those today.

I certainty knew that I was guttering myself when I agreed to do this interview but a comment like that even gave me a bit of a shut.the.fuck.up for one of the first times ever.

Therapy? announced today that they would be heading back out on the UK this Autumn in support of their latest album Crooked Timbre. Now I'm sure that I could have produced a more recent video, but thought I'd dig into the bands past and come up with perhaps their most famous offering.

So here's Screamager, taken from the bands 1994 album Troublegum. It's still a big hit today with fans new and old, and hey, I dig this song!

To tie in with Komodo Rock's recent interview with Dan Hawkins on the band, their history, and whether or not they are the true heirs to the Darkness throne, I thought I'd share with you an interesting insight to another side of this eclectic band.

You might have seen them supporting Velvet Revolver or Airbourne or even on their recent headline UK tour, but what you may not have seen is them playing an acoustic version of the track Magdalene Street, which appears on their debut album 'Silver Spoons and Broken Bones'.

This version was recorded in Leeds and in my opinion trounces the album version hands down.

It's certainly a chord that has struck with their fans over the last twelve months, from supporting Velvet Revolver to a stunning slot opening for Airbourne towards the end of the life of London's legendary Astoria Venue, to heading back out on the road on their own headline tour alongside Hate Gallery and the Black Spiders. At every stop this band win people over, and surprise more than a few who perhaps expect the band to sound akin to The Darkness, for it was out of the ashes of that band that the Stone Gods were forged.
