Comments?

I received this from a listener yesterday and, I have to say, that I completely agree.

My original thoughts regarding religious issues as they pertain to investing had to do with the situaton in the Middle East. Unfortunately, the discussion got a little silly and had little room for mutual acceptance. Too bad! From now on all comments of this type will be edited from this otherwise great site.

Why have we decided to do this? Easy, because a lack of acceptance of others is a sign of ignorance and this family is comprised of too many bright people to allow that.

Hi Al

I have to tell you that I worry about your site due to religious fanatisim, I feel this will drive people away.

An idea might be to run a particular thread to deal with religous debat.and exclude it on investment threads.

Your site is VERY good and you moderate VERY well, and I see the potential to go beyond what might be thought today.

This move of including listeners was nothing short of brilliant in my opinion.

Anyway, I really do worry about loseing critical thinkers due to religous discussion.

Please protect your site and keep up the EXCELLENT work and thank you for all you do.

It’s getting really crazy out there!

Happy Birthday… NOT!

The greatest blessing in my life, my daughter Tara, is 20 years old today. While witnessing her birth through today has brought joy only the Creator of All That Is Good in the Universe can give, during this period I’ve also watched my country spiral downward economically, socially and spiritually. Both sides of the political aisle are responsible and nowhere is that more true than in the grave financial condition we find ourselves in as a nation.

I have no cabins in West Virginia to sell, nor dry food supplies, guns or ammo but a sense of obligation to honor my Creator by sharing the knowledge He allowed this awful sinner to gather in almost 30 years in and around the financial arena. I can assure you that what I’m about to state is not “good for business,” nor will it win friends and influence people. In fact, most will not only wish they never read it, but just about everyone will literally pray I end up dead wrong.

My wonderful daughter, and the sons and daughters (and grandchildren, too) of those who read this are going to pay an enormous price for decades of over indulgences and total mismanagement by government and individuals. Better days for these generations cannot and will not be possible without severe economic and social pain. Our founding fathers did all they could to set in place measures that were to prevent such occurrences, but never-the-less here we are.

What we have witnessed in Greece and elsewhere is coming to the shores of America. And while the national election may either accelerate it or momentarily slow it down, make no mistake about it, the die has been cast and all the political rhetoric and rare actual good political deeds can’t prevent the inevitable.

I’m not the first person to say this, and thankfully I won’t be the last. The fact is America is bankrupted financially (and well on its way to socially, politically and spiritually, if not there already). The saddest point of this fact is virtually all Americans either don’t grasp it or if they do, hope it’s only a bad dream and they shall wake up and all shall be well again. While there have been a few brave politicians who have been willing to tell it like it is, and even fewer Wall Street types (perhaps that’s due to the fact that there’s not much in it for them to do so unless they sell cabins, dry food and ammo, and yes, gold), the ignorance of the nation is not surprising when you look at how other people in countries now already well into the nightmare also lived in denial.

The following video has made the dire financial situation easy to understand in layman’s terms. But don’t let the rather simplistic explanation make the enormity of the troubles any less than what they are.

I pray you took the time to not only watch it but to honor the producer of it and forward it to as many people you can.

As the video stated, it’s going to be painful and across the board. Unfortunately, class warfare is becoming more and more likely. It shall not only be the so-called 1% versus the 99%, but it shall be young against old.

The 55-and-over-segment of our population controls over 80% of what’s left of the wealth in America. There are now more people over 65 than under 18. In the last decade or so, the older (senior) segment of our population have seen two of the three areas of their financial and personal being take an enormous hit:

Those who retired a decade or so ago and those who continued to retire up until fairly recently had assumed the ability to earn interest on the savings much, much higher than the 1%, 2% they can now. This caused many to seek out far riskier avenues, and many saw significant losses in principle (including being caught up in the mortgage crisis). There’s little chance that significantly higher and safe yields are coming their way as we insanely remain in a non-stop monetary printing press mode.

From a decade or more before my daughter was born and for several years after her birth, we would hear how over time stocks and home values only go up. I doubt many of us would accept that belief without any reservation any more. By not doing so for many years now, real wealth and those who were dependent upon seeing that pass to them have taken a big hit.

The last of the good old days is soon to be just a fading memory for the single most important segment of our population – superb medical care at a very reasonable personal cost. Medicare can’t continue anywhere near as it has been at a time when those who had such expectations are being hit hard due to the above.

How we go about dealing with the inevitable pain is going to go a long way on how the senior segment of our population chooses to go about it. They tend to take voting more seriously and, as noted earlier, control much of the wealth.

If that isn’t enough, there’s another segment that I fully anticipate will dig in their heels for their pound of flesh and soon may get to the point where there can never be a real solution. As this video accurately notes, we’re fast approaching the point where more than 50% of our population shall be directly or indirectly dependent on being employed by the government. How on earth can we expect those whose very livelihoods depend on big government vote to shrink it? Throw in all the Americans who depend on some sort of government support and we’re very close to a tipping point I assure you doesn’t have a happy ending.

Thankfully, a small but growing part of the population has looked under the carpet and seen all that has been swept under there. They have begun to understand the true ramifications of decades of excess and mismanagement.

The poster child for all that is wrong, IMHO, is our need for public storage facilities. America has too much stuff. They’ve bought into the lie that more money and things equal more happiness. Our parents and grandparents never needed public storage. Are we any happier than them?

There’s no quick fix but I can tell you we’ll know we’re finally on the right road to recovery when we see public storage facilities closing versus continuously opening up everywhere we go.

If what I said up until now hasn’t made you wish you never read this far, some of you will surely find my last comment to be the straw that broke your back: America’s only real hope is to do what our Founding Fathers did and return Almighty God back to His rightful place as the true leader of this once great country. No other solution is doable.

Happy Birthday, Tara … I think.

TORONTO, CANADA – May 8, 2012 – Mr. George A. Brown, President and CEO of Cache Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: CAY), is pleased to announce positive results from the 2012 exploration program on the Welsford Rare Earth Element (REE) Properties in New Brunswick (see attached diagram 1). Dr. David Lentz, P.Geo., is a Qualified Person as described in National Instrument 43-101 and is responsible for the technical information contained in this news release.

Cache began its 2012 exploration season in April after the analysis of results from the Welsford 2011 soil sample programs and the 2011 Welsford trenching (March 7, 2012 news release). The initial April work was completed on the Welsford REE Extension Property (claims outlined in purple on attached diagram 1). The work was focused on following up on two areas with positive results from the soil sampling and radiometric prospecting program conducted in 2011.

The first area explored surrounds a Heavy Rare Earth Element (HREE) anomalous soil sample from 2011 that yielded 154.3 ppm HREE (including only Tb, Yb, and Lu results from Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA)). The work included radiometric prospecting and rock sampling. A total of three rock samples were collected from areas that showed anomalous radioactivity of approximately 1,200 counts per second (CPS). The average background radioactivity is approximately 400 CPS. One sample was collected from a dykelet discovered underlying a thin layer of moss. The dyke is steeply dipping and varies between 2.5 and 3.0 cm wide. It contains a greater amount of amphiboles than the granitoid host in which it is in sharp contact. One sample was taken of the dyke and one was taken of the host granite. Another sample was taken as a channel cut over 1 metre, in an area that locally displayed anomalous radioactivity of approximately 1,200 CPS. This channel cut sample is of interest as there were no apparent physical features observed in the field to differentiate between the anomalous and non-anomalous radioactive zones.

The samples were analysed by Activation Laboratories Inc. (Actlabs) Code 8 – REE Assay Package (ICP and ICP/MS) at their facility in Ancaster, Ontario. A Certified Standard Reference Material was submitted with the samples for quality control purposes, and its results are considered satisfactory for reporting.

The dykelet sample returned values of 0.137% Y2O3, 3.045% ZrO2, 0.268% Nb2O5, and 0.371% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) of which 780.8 ppm representing 25% of the TREO are Heavy Rare Earth Oxides (HREO). TREO includes La2O3, Ce2O3, Pr2O3, Nd2O3, and Sm2O3 as Light Rare Earth Oxides (LREO) and Eu2O3, Gd2O3, Tb2O3, Dy2O3, Ho2O3, Er2O3, Tm2O3, Tb2O3, and Lu2O3 as Heavy Rare Earth Oxides (HREO).

The second area explored is an outcrop that was found in 2011 to yield anomalous radioactivity up to 1,900 CPS where the average background radioactivity in the region is approximately 400 CPS. The outcrop is a fully exposed cliff-face that ranges up to about 10 metres high and extends about 130 metres in length (see Diagram 2). A total of 6 samples were collected in this area, all of which varied between 1,000 and 2,500 CPS. The follow-up exploration successfully identified multiple sets of pegmatite and aplite dykes within the outcrop showing anomalous radioactivity up to 2,500 CPS, some of which were sampled.

Two of the six samples returned significant Y+Zr+Nb+REE concentrations. These two samples were collected from a set of pegmatite dykes that showed anomalous radioactivity varying between 1,800 and 2,500 CPS. This anomalous outcrop is located approximately 200 metres to the East-Northeast of the dykelet described above from the first area explored. One of the grab samples returned values of 0.158% Y2O3, 3.250% ZrO2, 0.262% Nb2O5, and 0.310% TREO and a second grab sample contained 0.136% Y2O3, 3.566% ZrO2, 0.176% Nb2O5, and 0.206% TREO, of which 0.115% (37% of TREO) and 0.089% (43% of the TREO) respectively are HREO.

These results are considered quite significant and will warrant additional work. Cache is planning detailed mapping and sampling of the outcrop exposure. The results will be used to determine an optimal trenching and/or drilling program in order to assess the potential of these dykes.

Cache has also begun its 2012 exploration program on the Welsford REE Outer Property, where the highest priority zone yielded values up to 38,800 CPS in the 2011 exploration program. The work program thus far in 2012 has involved additional radiometric prospecting, preliminary hand trenching, and rock sampling. An area approximately 1.5 metre by 1 metre was hand trenched, revealing relatively shallow outcrop (0.3 to 0.5 metre depth) that reported an increased anomalous radioactivity of up to 46,000 CPS. The radioactive zone was traced between 1.0 metre to 1.5 metre width over a length of 6 metres. In contrast, the known dykes located within the Inner claims and the pegmatite dykes located on the Extension claims have only displayed up to 2,500 CPS, making this site of considerable potential for significant Y+Zr+Nb+REE mineralization. After the Company receives confirmation of the expected positive Y+Zr+Nb+REE results, a trenching program is anticipated to uncover the outcrop to expose the full of extent of the anomaly for detailed mapping and sampling.

All samples have been submitted to Activation Laboratories Inc. (Actlabs) in Fredericton, New Brunswick for analysis preparation by crushing, splitting, and pulverizing the samples using a mild steel for low contamination (up to 0.2% Fe), followed by Code 8 – REE Assay Package (ICP and ICP/MS) at their facility in Ancaster, Ontario.

The overall purpose of the 2012 Welsford Exploration programs will be to actively explore the various Welsford Properties in search of the source of the known Zr-Nb-Y-REE enriched aplitic dykes or other dyke swarms or a potential cupola within the host Welsford Peralkalic Intrusive Complex.

Cache Exploration is a well funded exploration company with a focus on exploring for REE deposits. Cache is exploring the Welsford REE Properties in New Brunswick, the Cross Hills REE Property and Cross Hills Northern IOCG Property in Newfoundland, and the Nunavut REE Properties. The Company acquired a 100% interest in Cache Minerals Inc. (“CMI”) (formerly Rockbridge Minerals Inc.) through which it now controls the CMI Cross Hill REE Properties adjacent to Cache’s Cross Hills Properties, the 3,360 acre Stewart South Property in BC, the 4,349 acre Quinn Eskay Property in BC, the 719 acre GSM Property in BC, and the 4,680 acre White Gold Properties in the Yukon. All of the Cache REE properties are considered to have excellent potential for rare earth element mineralization. The BC and Yukon properties provide a diversity of exposure to exploration potential for copper, silver, and gold.

More great news from New Zealand Energy!

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwire – May 8, 2012) – New Zealand Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NZ)(OTCQX:NZERF) (“NZEC” or the “Company”) has been granted an extension of land to its Eltham Permit (PEP 51150) in the Taranaki Basin of New Zealand’s North Island.

New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals has granted NZEC an additional 700 acres (2.83 km2) in the northwest corner of the Eltham Permit. The land extension gives NZEC control over two prospects that were overlapping the Eltham Permit boundary, and will allow NZEC to drill the prospects from the optimal location. NZEC will proceed to obtain land access agreements and resource consents and expects to drill the prospects as part of the Company’s previously announced eight well exploration program in the second half of 2012.

NZEC has two wells in production on its Eltham Permit, Copper Moki-1 and Copper Moki-2, and is currently testing Copper Moki-3 and Copper Moki-4. NZEC has identified six prospects on 3D seismic with the expectation of establishing one pad per prospect. Subject to success, two to four wells could be drilled per pad. NZEC has also identified leads on 2D seismic that will be further defined with the 100 km2 3D seismic survey that is currently being acquired. NZEC has entered into a rig contract to drill up to eight wells in the second half of 2012, focusing on the Mt. Messenger, Urenui and Moki formations. With a fully-funded treasury, the Company is evaluating opportunities to accelerate its exploration program, including drilling additional wells that may target the deeper Tikorangi and Kapuni formations.

On behalf of the Board of Directors

John Proust, Chief Executive Officer & Director
