Hello to NEW beginnings

2014-02-02T13:07:00.000-05:00

I abandoned my little secret lover; blogging! When I closed my shop a few years ago I wanted and needed a break to clear my mind and really decide what would be next. I did not allow myself too much of a break as I dove head first into building an Arbonne business. I promoted many times and earn a decent income from the work I did years ago. Hello residual income;)
I also earned my real estate license to help a special client find "THE" perfect Palm Beach getaway and really enjoy the real estate world. Having an insiders knowledge of the Palm Beach and West Palm Beach markets and a real knack for finding and helping clients visualize properties gives me access to their dreams come true. Add a thriving client list and this truly is a blessing!!!

Now enter the question on everyone's mind...I get asked constantly, "Do you miss your store?" NO, I do not! But after some long term soul searching I have come to realize what I do miss! MY BLOG!

I decided to re launch with a new concept. My store, building an Arbonne business, even real estate seems to be all about self promotion. On some level these days everyone is branding themselves and that is actually really cool! I have decided to launch www.KPstylehunter.com as a way to highlight a lifestyle. I will be documenting what is happening on the fashion scene, giving behind the scenes industry info, interviewing style makers, capturing street style, giving budget friendly options for pricey looks and folding in my personal style while I am on the hunt. The STYLEHUNT that is...

Tune in for carefully edited content on living your life FULL of style!

I hope to see y'all there:)!!!!!

Disco in 2013?...YES!

2012-12-18T08:30:00.000-05:00

I have been sooooo busy working that my poor little blog has been neglected! I took a part time job in a boutique for "season" in Palm Beach and Arbonne is in FULL BLOOM!! I have been spending my days in YOGA class, training for a marathon, working, sharing Arbonne, and chauffeuring my kids around town. But you know I ALWAYS have my eyes peeled for fashion. These days seem to be more so than ever on merchandise OVERLOAD!!!!! Trends are introduced at EVERY price point overnight! Typically a trend moves so fast you better not blink or you will MISS IT. You all know leggings are everywhere and we all wear them in several forms. BUT MOVE OVER...American Apparel has out done them all. Lycra "Disco Pants" are my must have pick of the new year. I own the black and the navy and charcoal are on my list from Santa:)! They fit like a glove and look amazing for day or night!

Humbled by the FLU

2012-05-14T12:51:00.003-04:00

Well isn't that the truth! I try to take the very best care of myself,I promise. I know I can not afford to be sick!!! I have a family to take care of!!!...Sound familiar? Well when the kids came home with the funk on Monday of last week, I went into super mode, nursing them back to health:) Serving homemade chicken noodle soup, washing my hands like a fiend, cloroxing everything, and keeping it all together. That is until Friday morning when I woke up and knew I was sunk...the flu! AWFUL!
I am so humbled by these past few days and all that we are able to accomplish when we have our health and our energy is "normal". So I wanted to take a minute today to reflect on the amazing gift so many of us are given...our health. We are so blessed to be able to get out of bed each day..even when we may not "want" to, we can:) I am so grateful for the boundless energy I have each day to take care of my family and to help others! This flu bug served as a GREAT reminder just how blessed I am! Thank you GOD for my energy, my health, and my ability to take care of myself and so many others!!!!!!

I miss my manic energy LOL

Summer 2012 KP Style

2012-05-10T18:06:00.001-04:00

My fellow blogger Emily at www.cupcakesandcashmere.com posted her summer "to-do" list yesterday and it inspired me to get down on paper , and my blog, what I want to accomplish! I am super excited to be in planning mode:)! The only official thing we have planned is our annual trip to Texas and Telluride. We will get to visit lots of friends and family along the way, but here is what I want to fill the front half of my summer with:

1. Take my kids to meet Winter, the dolphin from Dolphin Tale...who lives only 3 hours from us!

2. Lead my fitness camps 3 x week:)

3. Go to Rapids water park (my kids are OBSESSED) they pick this over Disney LOL

4. Drive in movies, and just like Emily, I have never been

5. Take my family to captiva to go shelling

6. Make homemade corn tortillas...I have the press and have never done it!!

7. Read my bible everyday...If I do, I will complete it

8. Host a summer BBQ (complete with Mac and I's amazing potato salad) for my Arbonne team;)

9. Sign up for adult ballet class

10. Sport a major tan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about you? What are my peeps up to this summer, come on write down you goals and make them happen!!! Share and make the thoughts a reality!

2012-05-03T09:31:00.001-04:00

Well we are home from Vegas and it was, well hard to describe just how inspirational it was! Let me start with the fashion. I have traveled to Vegas several times for MAGIC. This is the largest apparel show in the world. 300,000-400,000 fashionistas embark on Sin City for a 4 day show that never disappoints. One might think the parade of beauties in perfect fashions might be hard to beat, well it is! But...I saw it topped this past weekend in Vegas for Arbonnes GTC (Global Training Conference). This group of women and gents were just beyond adorable. Chic, stylish, well appointed, confident, KILLER heels, and they were all G L O W I N G!!!
I am fully rolling with surrounding myself with people who are lifting me up and encouraging me to be more, do more, have more, ALL so I can give more! I just want to encourage my readers today to surround yourselves with people that are lifting you UP , not dragging you down! Do you have a friend or family member that is "not" for you? If they are not for you, they are against you (for now). People go through their own "stuff", but if they are not encouraging you find peeps who will!

You will not regret this ALL powerful step in lifting your spirit and moving you on to bigger and better areas in our life!

Be still, and see the light!

2012-04-24T09:51:00.000-04:00

Esther 4:13

Be still for a while and praise God for His favor, His grace and His awesomeness. God is able to do the impossible and is always near. He loves us unconditionally. Let's all say this prayer during this hour: Send this to your friends who you love and pray for their best:)! The power of prayer is AMAZINGLY POWERFUL>>>I want to encourage ALL my readers today to excel above their expectations!

Dear God, This is my friend whom I love and this is my prayer for her. Help her live her life to the fullest. Please cause her to excel above her expectations. Help her to shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs you the most, and let her know when she walks with You, she will always be safe Amen!

Imagine if you did not have to worry

2012-04-19T08:53:00.001-04:00

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians 4:6

Imagine someone who knows EVERYTHING you have done. ALL the good and bad! There is NO detail they are spared and nothing you can hide. Now imagine that person forgiving you for ALL of it and LOVING you more than you are capable of understanding:)

That is the kind of love we receive through our savior:))

Do not let yesterdays famine rob you of todays feast:)

Coachella 2012...hum???

2012-04-18T15:14:00.002-04:00

I will start this post the same way I did when I recapped 2011 Coachella.

Anyone who follows this blog knows I LOVE Coachella!!!

This music festival / fashion parade is where the magic happens. Where trends are born and where I usually take note for my upcoming purchases, keyword here being "usually"! After POURING through the pics from this event I was left VERY un-impressed with what these east coasters decided to sport:(!! I did find a few that I liked

You decide, check out these two comprehensive slide shows

fab sugar

and

Harpers Bazaar

( a few from this sampling are ok, but that is my issue! Normally I LOVE IT ALL:(((((
