I must say that Secret really are very strong singers. They have great stamina. I thought that in the middle of the song they would eventually ran out of breath but they didn't. There are only have four members in the group, yet they can sing so steadily, loud and clear. When I compared to other Girl groups, I was shocked. Most of them can't even sing their own lines. I mean as a singer if you got the chance in sing your part, of cause you must try your very best to sing it. I can hear one or two in the Girl Group, pronounce to word wrongly and it was the title song name. They have performed so many time, more than 30 times yet they are still making the same old mistake. I mean have they review their own performance at all?

I would give them 5 stars for their performance

Kim Dong Wan has received an award for "Sharing Person of The Month" by the Minister of Health and Welfare.

The "Sharing Person of The Month" award is to discover an unknown sharing people and to share and spread beautiful acts of generosity. Twenty two people who served for elderly people or who have showed compassion to neighbors in need have won the prize of the Minister of Health and Welfare coming off recommendations from related organizations or the press.

Kim Dong Wan was selected because he has donated to the heads of family and senior citizens who are living alone since 2006. He has been selected as the winner of this award because he and actor Kim Jae Wook had donated rice to the “Giving Rice” event by the international aid organization for adolescent heads of family and senior citizens who are living alone. He was presented with the rice on the occasion of his performance in the musical “Hedwig."

Also, Kim Dong Wan had donated to KBS1 “Love Request” for flood victims in 2006, participated in the SBS "Love Sharing Concert" in 2008, donated to Sichuan, China earthquake victims in 2009, and donated to the victims of the incident on Yeonpyeong Island in 2010. He donated to the Red Cross for the Japanese earthquake victims in March and also took the lead by taking part in many donations.

Kim Dong Wan, upon receiving the award said, “I’m very thankful to receive this reward even though there may be many other people who had done a lot of work for charity. Sharing with people in charity work makes me happy. I’ll try to share with many more people.”

He was most recently a performer in “Hedwig,” which ended successfully last August after a three-month run. Shinwa member Kim Dong-wan is confirmed to star with Kim Myeong-min in upcoming disaster movie, "Yeongasi". This development marks the return of the 31-year-old actor to the big screen after seven years of being active as singer and TV/musical actor.
A source from MY Entertainment, Kim Myeong-min's agency said, the singer-actor signed up last week. He was the last among the supporting actors to confirm participation in the movie.
Kim Dong-wan will play the role of Jae Pil, Jae Hyuk's (Kim Myeong-min) younger brother who works as a police officer. Jae Pil is engaged to be married to Yun Ju, who will be portrayed by model and actress,Yoon Soy ("Warrior Baek Dong-soo", (SBS, 2011); "Hero - Drama" (MBC, 2009); "Shadowless Sword", 2005). The couple were introduced to each by Jae Hyuk, who was Yun Ju's senior schoolmate in college.
"Yeongasi" follows Jae Hyuk, a pharmaceutical agent as he battles against parasitic worms devastating the population, including his own family. Park Jeong-woo ("Big Bang", 2007; "Dance With The Wind", 2004) wrote the screenplay and is set to direct the 10 billion won movie. Filming will start on October 25 for an early 2012 release.

4minute, BEAST, and G.NA’s first K-Pop concert will be held at the famed O2 Brixton Academy in London on December 5 and 6.

Tickets for this show, “United Cube in London,” went on sale on October 29. For the first two days of ticketing, however, only the UK mobile provider O2 users are allowed to purchase tickets. Approximately 20 percent of the total seats will be allocated for the two-day pre-sale period. Beginning October 31, tickets will be available to everyone. Each ticket will cost 65 pounds (GBP), or approximately $104.70 USD, and you can find it online at www.livenation.co.uk or by calling 0844-477-2000.

Organized by Live Nation and CABA Entertainment, the “United Cube in London” will feature 4minute, BEAST, and G.NA. The two-day concert will take place at the historical O2 Brixton Academy. 2NE1’s “Hate You” music video has been caught under fire lately after some Japanese fans accused it of depicting anti-Japanese sentiments throughout the clip. The video designed by pop graphic artist Mari Kim features a storyline where four female heroes (supposed to be the 2NE1 members) fight against an evil monster to save the world from destruction.

The anti-Japanese accusations are largely based on two scenes. One is an exploding nuclear reactor that, according to Japanese fans, looks very similar to the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. Also known as the Fukushima Daiichi, the nuclear power plant was made inactive after being damaged by massive earthquake and tsunami attacks in March. The second scene is the one with a giant evil monster that has a red dot on its forehead. According to the accusations, the red dot on its white head is supposed to signify Japan’s national flag (that of course has a big red dot on a white background).

Currently, the “Hate You” music video on 2NE1’s official YouTube channel is flooded with comments from both sides of the debate. Some of the comments read, “The nuclear power plant in the video is an insult to Fukushima,” or “If it was a different country, we might have thought it’s just a coincidence. But Korea is different because they celebrated the March earthquake in Japan.”

Japan was hit by a 9.0 earthquake and subsequent tsunami in March that are remembered as one of the worst in history. Following the disaster, many K-Pop stars and Korean fans sent messages of support as well as donations to help the recovery efforts. However, last September, during a soccer match between Korean and Japanese professional teams, some Korean fans brought out a poster saying, “We celebrate the earthquake in eastern Japan,” which fired up fierce controversy between Korean and Japanese netizens.

The 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that hit northeastern Japan on March 11 has left some 20,000 people dead or missing.

Even some local media reported on this heated debate, saying, “This might just be simple animation. But if more and more Japanese fans start taking it the wrong way, 2NE1’s promotions in Japan might become difficult too.”

2NE1 is expected to release their first Japanese single on November 16.

So I guess that’s proof that they don’t care what happens to us and that they’re only supporting the group out of sympathy. To SM, it doesn’t matter whether Super Junior does well or not. I feel so bad for our oppas, they have nothing but their fans to trust in a company like that. It’s always the fans that are promoting their albums for them.

Big Band's Daesung is back with NEW Drama “What’s Up” Included "Baby Don't Cry" by Daesung [Audio] Photos

It’s been confirmed that Big Bang‘s Daesung will be making his official comeback on TV through MBN‘s new drama, “What’s Up“!

MBC stated that “What’s Up” will begin broadcasting in December as a special weekend drama. The series will run for a total of 18 episodes, each lasting approximately 60 minutes long. While the drama was supposed to air back in March, numerous delays resulted in a decision to broadcast the series in December.

Drama enthusiasts have already shown their interest in the upcoming series, especially with Song Ji Na being the scriptwriter. Song is widely known for her successes in writing “Hourglass”, “The Pupil of Dawn”, and “Tawangsasingi“.

“What’s Up” is a drama about a group of students in their 20s studying a major in musicals; the series follow their experiences in happiness and hardships as they pursue their dreams, passions and love. Daesung will be part of` the main cast of the drama, which includes musical actors Oh Man Suk andIm Joo Hwan.

Tablo has shattered the silence of his long hiatus by releasing a new music video called “Bad”.

Earlier this week, Tablo unleashed Part 1 of his first solo ablum, ‘Fever’s End’. The name of the album was “inspired by Tablo’s period of struggle and pain; the songs included in the album were created during that time when Tablo was trying to overcome his difficulties.”

The title track off the album, “Bad” (feat. Jinsil), was written, composed, and produced by Tablo himself. His feelings of desperation and frustration resonate through the heartfelt lyrics, and are carried even further by Jinsil’s haunting voice.

TVXQ LIP SYCHED "RISING SUN" LIVE

TVXQ is the "ONLY" one who using "LIP SYCHED" throughout the whole song "Rising Sun". I mean I knew that Changmin's mic went off from his face but KBS couldn't just wait a while for him to adjust it, they just continue the program. What's that?! Why KBS would not just wait? The lip syched started from 0:45. I think U-know later found out at the very end of the song. Manly U-know is really work so hard that he didn't realize it.

But somehow I got the feeling that this was done on purposed. I don't know I can only watch poor Changmin sweat so much even with the chest open (Sexy), he was still sweating like crazy more than U-know. U-know looks so "Cool" (Good). It is only a second song. Changmin was like falling apart. Is he all right? Kind of worried that he might collapse anytime. I wonder the SME is treating him right. He really looks too slim (I can see his bone!). Come on SME feed him more, u earn enough money to do that at least. Changmin I LOVE U~ So cute.

An Inconvenient Truth about JYJ’s TV Appearance [ENG Trans]

Here is an idol group that is the center of Hallyu[Korean Wave].
They are immensely popular.

As an idol group, they have expanded their activities by combining unit-activities in acting, musicals and other fields. Their songs swept charts on music sites as soon as their album was released, pre-order of the album was 300,000 copies and even some record shops made exclusive counters only for their album. They are also due to have concerts in Europe, beyond the U.S.A.

However, music distributors refuse to distribute their album when this idol group plans to release, venues reject their concerts when they plan to have one in Japan.
TV program is cancelled even though they already have finished recording [of the program], and they even suddenly get cancelled of the stages that they are scheduled to perform to celebrate the event as the honorary ambassador.
You can see them on news and dramas but cannot see them on programs of entertainment department [of the same broadcasting company] at all.

If you see these twofold situations, you might think that this idol group committed some kind of heinous crimes or had really bad reputations that make people reluctant to work with them. Or you could doubt that they refrain themselves from TV appearances as a mysticism strategy.

What if all of these doubts are not true?
What if they are banned on TV without any heinous crimes committed, always receive a favorable evaluation from colleagues who work with them and sincerely desire to appear on TV?

Then it is a natural to think that there is something wrong.

This idol group who I have explained on this column, is JYJ.
The group is formed by Junsu Kim, Yuchun Park and Jaejoong Kim from TVXQ, the best Hallyu idol group of Korea, and they do not seem to have their activities freely even though they are massively popular. And they speak about these situations so calmly, as if these things are just everyday life to them.

They are idol stars and there are likes and dislikes to see them just like all idols have. Ordinary men might do not like them or there are fans and anti-fans even among women. But those have nothing to do with these situations. The thing you should focus on is that they [JYJ] are under unfair situations despite the fact that they have the most powerful strength as a celebrity.

JYJ has one of the most powerful strength as celebrity in public. The power of a celebrity comes from fans. The fandom JYJ has passes over Korea and the scale is beyond your imagination. The royalty of fans are amazing. At the moment in Korea, the pre-order of 300,000 copies of album is absolutely outstanding and this is just a simple example of their fandom’s volume and strength. However, they receive all kinds of unfair treatments although they have such powerful strength.

What could be the reasons for this? No one could say clearly.

But one thing seems to be clear – There are a lot of possibilities that some big power exists[behind of this situation].

There is a word P.S.M on the song ‘Pierrot’ on their latest album.
SBS and MBC enquired what the word meant, Jaejoong Kim who wrote the words of the song answered that it stands for ‘Performance,’ ‘Success,’ ‘Museum.’

The song was passed the broadcasting reviews of those two broadcasting companies.
But KBS interpreted this arbitrarily and the song did not pass the review [of KBS].
It did not even ask the meaning to the creator of the song.

Then what made KBS so sure of its review, on which certain basics?
There must be reasons.

One thing is clear. Other artists may face even bigger interferences that actually can make them impossible to live their basic life. For them, it is a problem of life or death.
I seriously think that this situation beyond fairness, which can severely damage someone’s living, needs to be corrected.

KBS previously said that JYJ would be able to appear on Music Bank when they release an official album. And JYJ says they really want to be there.
The songs already took the top of music charts and album sales seem to take the top for sure. Also their title songs, and already passed its broadcasting reviews. If JYJ cannot appear with these facts, it must be inferred that KBS, the public broadcasting cooperation that must consider its viewers as its priority, puts something above the viewers.

Also I expect that it would be way off to save artists who cannot have activities on TV with nothing to blame if JYJ could not appear on Music Bank.
You might think that there is no way but to surrender to the power [that causes this situation]. And surrendering to the power could directly become the beginning of unconscionable bargains, because this is a matter of simple survival to someone.

The issue of JYJ’s TV appearance is not just intolerant matter about whether an idol group can appear on TV or not. This is an issue of that whether the healthy industry can be settled or not. The current audition craze manifests show people’s desire to see no other than a fair society that evaluates someone only by ‘ability’. JYJ’s case is the same.

Whether you are a fan or not, this issue is definitely a matter you must think about.

Youn ha and Lion Media mediation FAILED!

It was reported that the third mediation between Youn-ha and her agency, Lion Media has failed once again.

According to allkpop website, on 12 October, both parties appeared in front of the Seoul Central District Court in an attempt to come to an agreement with regards to a lawsuit Youn-ha filed against Lion Media in which the agency had then responded with a countersuit.

Lion Media's lawyers spoke with reporters after the mediation and stated, "Both parties tried very hard to work on the differences in opinions, but it seems a battle in the court is unavoidable at this point."

They added that Youn-ha's representatives are adamant about their positions, leaving no room for both parties to come to a conclusion.

Youn-ha's lawyers however, stated, "We have nothing to say. It's a sensitive issue and we promise to put out a statement as soon as everything's resolved."

Youn-ha and her agency Lion Media have been in mediation since April after the singer sued the agency and requested for a termination of contract due to questionable validity. In August, Lion Media countersued the singer for approximately USD 1 million due to losses caused by Youn-ha's breach of exclusive contract.

Youn-ha debuted in Japan at the age of 16 in the year 2004, and she had been a part of the agency for nearly 7 years.
