Today I have some news, but not yet.....it will be this afternoon... I am so excited!!

This is how I feel!! I have been working on this for so long and it if finally time!! YEP, time!! I will be doing the 'happy dance' all day... please join me this afternoon....I hope that you will be doing it with me!! :)

This is the necklace set that I created for a review with Jaweria Jawed from Jeeya's Beauty & Fashion Blog . She will be posting her review shortly... I sure hope she likes her set!! Do you like it??

Today I am going to start showing you the BIG project that I have been working on. Over the past month or so I have been beading (mostly on the weekends and at night) on this VERY large project. I don't want to show you 'what it will be' yet, as I am not even done with it, but let me just say, it is larger than anything else I have ever done. This is an ART piece and I hope to finish with it in time to make it my THIRD entry into the Seed Bead Competition at Fire Mountain Gems. So, today I start....here are (just the first set) of colors!! Remember, you can come over to my Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page were I post 'working' photos throughout the day.

Last Friday night was one of my classes, and here, is what my ladies made. I have to tell you that I am so very proud of them!! They pick up on stitches and designs so fast!! I can't wait to get my tutorials finished! I am also opening my classes up to anyone that would like to come....you'll find out where to find my calender of events later today!! :)

Mark your calendars, if you are in Florida at the end of the week this will be a great music fest and arts show!! I can't wait to go down and set-up!!

And who knew about my 'besties' wedding? I have to tell you that I was not only proud to be able to stand up for her, but also so very happy for her. She has found a GOOD man! Here are a few photos, but if you want to check out more, go see her fan page (yes, she paints) AmbersArtAlley!!

I am on Vacation!! I will NOT be beading, but I will be participating in my Best Friends Wedding!! I'll get to give her away to a great guy!! And thanks to my mom-in-law all our animals will be save in their own beds while she stays at our home!!

I am going on VACATION!! I am so excited!! My best friend is getting married and I get to 'give her way'!! For me it will be a time away from beading, but time spent with one of my dearest friends!! So, I will be gone Mon - Thursday next week, however, you can still purchase from my studio (at 40% off on sale) and it will be mailed out on Friday!!

I also hope to have the site up and running by 4/13/15 for a GRAND OPENING celebration!! SO, I hope that you enjoy your week.....I know I will!! :) I'll see you when I get back!!!

It is another day of BEADING, creating and moving items over to my site....I am so excited about this move!! I hope that you can see/feel the excitement!! Between everything...the happy dance goes on all day long....as long as I don't spill my beads!! :) ha ha ha ha :)

Check this out, I was asked to review this amazing case from UNU for them. I was given the case, however I was NOT paid for this review. It is my honest and truthful opion!

Here is what I wrote;

This case is amazing!! I just love the feel, size and style of it!! There are a couple of things that I like/dislike the same! Sound strange? Well, the volume, mute and standby button are 'open' on this case. This means that to hit these buttons you must go 'in' a little on the case! This is one of my best/worst features!! It is the best because when I use the phone or put the phone in my purse I don't accidentally hit these buttons (which I was doing often). It is also the worst because sometimes I have issues getting my finger in there to turn it off or adjust the volume. But, for me, I would say the BEST part out-ways the other!!

The battery life and ease to charge this case is AMAZING!! THANK YOU for making such great products!! I have been a fan and will continue to be! ~KM

I have to tell you, there is so much going on here at Krafty Max Originals!! You all know about me moving to my own site, but there is so much more!! I am getting ready to travel to my best friends wedding (and of course I'm doing all the wedding jewelry). I am also working on my THIRD entry into the Seed Bead Competition at Fire Mountain Gems. OK, this weekend thing just keeps happening to quick! Between the show (Friday and Saturday) and taking yesterday off to spend with the family there seems to be no down time....but that is OK!! The show was a great success and I was able to meet some of the most wonderful people!! Here is what my set-up looks like....both sides of the isle!! Oh, and if you look at them closely you'll see my hubby, he helped me set-up on Friday!! :) What a wonderful hubby!!

Inbetween all of the things going on with me (Krafty Max) I also have been living a great personal life!! I am a firm believer that they follow eachother - ESPECIALLY when you work at home! My Son, as many of you know, is a funtioning special needs child that required a lot of my attention. Because of this I spend most of the time that he is home focused on him or my home life!! Recently while I was teaching a class he decided to 'stack cups' to entertain us (of course it was to entertain him and for him to be included, but that is OK) and so I just had to snap a photo!! These are PAPER cups that have been 'played with' for some time!! THIS IS A GREAT TOY!

My message; even if you work at home there is BUSINESS TIME and PERSONAL TIME, don't let them bleed into eachother to much!!

These aren't new, but they are wonderful to look at...and remember save 35% off if you use code MOVING2015!!

If you have been watching, you'll know I made a big MISTAKE yesterday. I tried to 'push' the needle through a bead that it didn't want to go through....disaster... 3 broken beads later and the entire thing had to be cut and I had to start over!!! So, here they are. My son and his new bride! I am so proud!! The second photo also has my mom and dad in there....what a special day!! I am sorry I missed it, but trips to California from Florida just isn't possible right now!

Yesterday I finished one project and was able to start on another one!! I haven't gotten a chance to do the photo shoot and listing yet for this one, but I will get it done today!!

Yesterday I introduced you to JosephAnthony the owner and designer behind SteampunkCoasters and today, I want to tell you more about him!

When I asked him how his craft has evolved over time, his answer really struck home with me; At first I really thought I was making some high quality items…I was wrong. Once the shine wears off and you start seriously looking at your craft you beat yourself up pretty bad, I think everyone does that. Once I faced the reality that I needed to do some more research on techniques, styles, color schemes etc. The items I was producing got markedly better. I am constantly trying new things and changing up the process. You always want to produce a better item. For many of us this says what we all feel in the beginning!!

He has been published in the local paper and mentioned on the news - no doubt that will happen more and more!! I just love to watch what is being 'remade' into something new!! Currently there is work going with this project....everything that you see is found objects and the finished piece will have photos for the numbers!!

And here are two of my favorites!! I know they aren't Steampunk, but they are terrific and have that vintage and unique look that comes from a talented artists!

Today, it is a complete honor to introduce you to JosephAnthony the owner and designer behind SteampunkCoasters. This talented artist has a 'little bit' going on!! ON-LINE he creates, designs and sells his amazing Steampunk Coasters. But off line he takes furniture and vintage junk (his word not mine) and turns it into beautiful creations for home decor!! Oh, did I mention that he also sells Old Town Paints (Chalk paint) and teaches people how to use it!?!?! And now, there is a new bunch of creations he is working on.....reuse/recycle/upscale items.....like turning an OLD fan into a desk lamp!!

I have to say, that everything I have seen (and I have been a fan of his site for a while) I just love!! Although he is self taught he ~~blames~~ credits his mom and grandmother for giving him the antique/flea market bug!!

Making Monday 3/16/15 (Mi Casa Cafe, Catherine's Musings and Bead Peeps Swap 'n' Hop)

WHAT A WEEKEND!!! Spent with the family watching the St. Patrick's Day parade and then going to the Celtic Fest in St. Augustine!! OH MY, talk about busy and fun!! The weather (sorry for my northern friends) was in the 80's and BEAUTIFUL!! I didn't get any good photos, but I'll look through some my son took....maybe we'll find a couple!

Last weekend I was down in St. Augustine for the Seafood fest as a vendor and let me just say that I have to thank my daughter again! Not only did she help me with my booth (for 3 days) but she also found this amazing place right along the historical St George Street. When we were (there was 6 of us) down there again this past weekend we stopped in the same cafe - Mi Casa Cafe - and just let me tell you......WONDERFUL!! Last weekend they saved us - both in price and in GREAT food. This weekend it was our oasis! Ms. Marnie and her 'boys' provided us with a cool place to rest our tired feet and some of the best food I've had in a LONG TIME!! I wish I had photos, but we were so hungry we dug right in....and ALL of us LOVED IT!!! And Ms. Marnie is a treat as well!! As we sat....filling out "tummies with yummies" (a cute saying my son came up with) we had great conversation and then....the live music started....you really MUST make this a destination if you are in St. Augustine, Florida!

Last night I visited a great little show in a near by town while y daughter was getting her volunteer training. Guess what I found....SLICED AGATES!! YEP, at first I thought there was just a couple (only one I liked in the stack) but then.....they told me where the rest were!! I spent the next 1/2 hour going through EVERY SINGLE SLICE and picking the one's that I liked. And let me tell you, if I had a few hundred dollars with me....they wouldn't have any left!! :) But, here they are!!

And now I am asking you to help me decide which one to start with.....leave a number in the comments and vote to let me know which one I should make first!! ;)

What's NEW??? Well, there is a new Lisa Wingate book coming out soon!! I am so excited!!! Just look at the cover art....

....this is the 3rd book in a series, but let me tell you, you can read them along just as easy! They are all great books!! You do know that she is my ALL TIME favorite writer, right?!?! Keep a watch out, I'll be doing a review and then a give-a-way as we get closer to the September release....but you can always click on it and PRE-order it now....it will be worth it!! :)

Yesterday I was able to introduce you to Ms. Leeza (Lee-zah) the designer owner of Twisted& Troublesome Friends. Today I get to tell you more about her, and her beautiful creations!!

Like many artist that are self taught she started out with something small and 'easy'. Here is what she says about it; My first piece I named "Thy Slug." It was a yellow sausage type thing with little spikes stuck to it. It broke after I took it out of the oven from baking. And now when I look at her creations I think - how far she has come!!

I think that personally one of the things that draws me the most to her little cuties is their expressions. She has worked really hard to get the 'eyes' just right and then you see the 'tongue' hanging out and it just makes me smile!! I, for one, am so glad that she has kept up her passion and that we get to look at these little creations - and for some of us we are lucky enough to own one!!

And, other than messy, I have to say, they were really good....and the kids LOVED them!! They are even taking the extras for lunch today!! OK, MOMMY WIN!!! :)

Today I have a great artist to introduce you to! Ms. Leeza (Lee-zah) the designer owner of Twisted& Troublesome Friends. Unique name? Well, here is what this unique artist said about it - it suits the quirky charisma associated with my work - and that it does!!

The detail in each of these little one's are simply amazing! They all have great expressions (you can almost 'see' what they are thinking)! She uses Polymer Clay which gives her more ability to 'mold an sculpt'. And from start to finish she is very 'hands on'!

Having only been making these amazing creatures for just about a year it has been a wonderful learning experience for her. Learning on her own from kits and videos she is always working to perfect her skills.

Oh my goodness, what a weekend!! I had so much fun at the St Augustine Lions Festival! It was COLD and RAINING on Friday, but Sat and Sun....wonderful!! There were so many people eating great seafood and enjoying all the art booths! I have to tell you, the pirates got me every time....do you know how to 'walk the plank'?? I do and it was just toooo cute!!

Just a side note, I have received a lot of comments about my portrait and some of my larger more intricate designs. I am considering changing some of my direction. Do you, my avid followers, have any comments about it? Also, I am considering raising my prices (not on the already listed items, but on new creations) to be more in the 'main stream' pricing. Yesterday I showed you all the earrings I had made for the show - and the wonderful earring racks that my father had made for me. Today I get to show you something NO ONE has seen before!! My dad and I talked over some things that I wanted...mainly a display stand for ALL of my bracelets! I also wanted something that gave then 'height' (something that is very important at shows). So, after bouncing things back and forth this is what my dad made me....now, it all comes apart for easy storage and there are MANY more racks that I can add as I add more bracelets...but just look at this.....aren't I SOOO LUCKY??? Oh, did I mention that it also TURNS???? :) :) happy dance! :) :)

These might not be new, but they are still wonderful....just look at all the dragonflies!!

Today should be my last day of beading on this portrait!! I am so excited!! It is hard to see in some of the photos, but there is so much detail to this creation!!! I hope that I do Marco Antonio Solis proud!! Just think of my customer who had this made for her MOM....talk about a special gift!! Yesterday I introduced you to Leah Fisch the owner and designer of

MagicByLeah and today I get to tell you more about her!!

Moving from brown 'lumps' of clay in kindergartener to play dough and then onto Polymer Clay creating sculptures has been something Ms. Leah has always done!! And she says that she is still learning....always looking for the next book or video to learn some new technique or trick!

I must tell you that she is her own best critic!! She actually compares one face to another to find out where she can make improvements! When I look at her creations I am simply amazed!! She calls herself a novice, but I have to tell you that is now what I see! I see beautiful creations with an amazing attention to detail!

When I asked her if / where she sold her creations her answer was PERFECT: Sculpting is my hobby. My temporary sanity as I escape from the real world into the magic hidden in the polymer clay. My sculptures are typically made as gifts or practice figurines. I sell some of my work on Etsy but more often than not I get attached to each piece and can't imagine parting with it.

Although she hasn't won any awards yet, I think it is just a matter of time!! Just look at her creations!!

My all time favorite is this little fairy baby!!

Yesterday I told you I would show you the earrings I have been working on....I know these aren't great photos, but it will give you the idea!! I'll get some more photos when I set-up for the show. on Friday!! But, just LOOOOK at what I did!

That's about 230 pairs of Swarovski Crystal earrings!! (There are some that the pair had to be put on separate hooks)!! And, there are 'clam shell' sides that go on each of these to take them with me without anything falling off!! :)

Tomorrow I'll show off the new BRACELET rack my dad just made for me!! Can I tell you that just about everything I use for display at my shows my dad had made.....I AM SOOOOOO LUCKY!! :)

Although these aren't brand new, they are all fun and full of SPRING!

Over the weekend I have been so busy!! I made earrings.....LOTS and LOTS of earrings!!! Since I have this show this coming weekend I wanted to bring out my earring racks and use them again!! My dad made these for me and all my shelving!! This show I'll have a new display for my bracelets too....I can't wait to show THAT off!! But back to the earring racks. Each one holds 125 pairs....I am going to put 2 of them out!! So, when I say I made LOTS of earrings, I made LOTS - about 200 so far - earrings!!! I'll show them all off once I get them done!! :)

These Magnesite stones have the look of Turquoise but at a fraction of the cost!! These are large, bold and FUN! I matched them with Silver Plated end caps and Red Swarovski Crystals! A LARGE toggle leaf clasp just finished off the look!

WOW, between the feature, my review and the new listing yesterday....it was a busy internet day for me!! I have so much going on right now behind the scenes. I am making things - earrings and bracelets - for my upcoming show, beading like crazy on the Portrait and then there is the 'house' to keep up! Yep, life is busy!! OH MY, this is one of those mornings that starts out very 'hum drum' and ends up with a HAPPY DANCE!! First, I woke up to a sale...that will always make me smile, but then I remembered that today is the day that I AM FEATURED on Wired Boutique's Blog!!! Here is another necklace set that I created with the wonderful things that Panda Hall sent me. Again I took the center (King Tut) from my Grandmother's Stash and cleaned it up before adding it to the great center from Panda Hall. Then using their beads and some of my findings I came up with this great look!

Here is what I used for this project:

Tibetan Style Pendant Cabochon Settings, Oval, Nickel Free, Antique Bronze, 61x48x2mm, Hole: 2mm; Tray: 40x30mm (PALLOY-J154-11AB-NF)

Synthetic Turquoise Beads Strands, Faceted Round, Dye, CadetBlue, 4mm, Hole: 0.5mm; about 95pcs/strand, 15.5" (G-Q038-3)

Mixed Glass Bicone Beads Strands, Faceted, 4mm, Hole: 1mm; about 83pcs/strand, 13"(X-GLAA-S050-4mm)

Recently I was asked to review the WX SERIES Universal Wall Charger from UNU. They send me one to try - with no strings attached - and I did. First I wanted to see about the charging ability. This little box has great speed when charging out electronics and with having the dual USB plugs makes it perfect for the family with LOTS of electronics! It fit perfectly into the sock and the plug and USB Slots were both secure.
