This weeks TCPTUES 196 Challenge is an inspiration challenge. Jen, has a fabulous inspiration piece for us to work from. It's filled with lots of bright, sunny colors and some yummy sweets. As soon as I saw the inspiration piece I knew just what I wanted to create. I used the new Gimme Some Sugar set for the sentiments and the sentiment flag. The lollipop sticks are also from the Gimme Some Sugar set. I used the stamp that was supposed to be a pole. It was the perfect size!
To create the lollipops were created using Jody's Large Sticky Dots and Divine Twine. I placed a sticky dot on a piece of card stock and then I paper pierced a hole in the center of the dot. Using a large needle, I threaded the twine through the hole, I then secured the end of the twine at the back of the circle. I wrapped the twine around and around on the sticky dot. When I came to the end, I trimmed the end of the twine and secured it to the back of the circle. I think they look yummy enough to eat! LOL

I kept the inside veery simple as well. Just the sentiment and a few strands of the Divine Twine.

 

I hope you enjoyed the MFT Release Party last night! This months release is just full of amazing stamps! One of my favorite sets is the new Vertical Greetings. I'm not usually a fan of text that has different fonts but I really like the mixture and balance of these sentiments.

I stamped the sentiment using Adirondack Watermelon ink on Very Vanilla card stock. I paired the sentiment with Red Hot and Black Licorice card stock. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon's Sidewalk collection. I used the new Botanical Beauty Die-namics die. You are seriously going to love this die! The flowers are really large! I used the two smallest flowers on this card. I added a Basic Grey button and some Charcoal Twine. Since I already had a sentiment on the last card I used a piece of patterned paper on the sentiment flag which was created with the First Place Ribbon Award Die-namics. I finished off the card with some black pearls.

Here are the details for the weekly MFTWSC challenge. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation.  You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish.  Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch.  All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process.  After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher.  If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!  That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along.

 It's finally time for the New Product Tour! All the new Stamp sets and Die-namics dies are now available HERE. So quick go shop and then come back and hop through all the fabulous blogs to see what the Design Team has created. Tonight, I am sharing two fun cards made with the new Ring Me stamp set and Die-namics. This is such a fun set, especially for those of us that remember this old school type of phone!

I used the Ring Me Die-namics with a piece of denim fabric. I used the Cuttlebug Metal Adapter plate and the denim cut perfectly! This plate is fabulous for giving your die cut machine that extra bit of pressure. I used some prints from Jillibean Soup's Homemade 6 Bean Soup collection for the rotary part of the phone. The middle of the phone is the small Peace Sign Die-namics die. It fits just perfectly!

Along with the prints from Jillibean Soup, I also used Sour Apple card stock. I also used the Layered Hearts Die-namics die and the First Place Ribbon Award Die-namics die for the sentiment. I finished off the card with a few SU Chocolate Chip brads.

My next card features another polka dot phone. I really do want a polka dot phone! LOL  For this card I used some prints from Jillibean Soup's Dutch Mustard Soup collection. I paired the patterned paper with Sour Apple, Blue Raspberry and Sweet Tooth card stock. I stamped the sentiments with Citrus Adirondack ink. The bright green matched the papers perfectly!

For the rotary part of the phone I actually used a slightly larger circle on this card. I really wanted to use the circle bling that I had and it was a touch too big. It fit perfectly on a slightly larger circle. I finished off the card with some Caribbean Teal Twine. I kept the inside of the card fairly simple with lots of room to write a message.

I created two cards to share with you today featuring the new Die-namics stamps. The first card features the new Ring Me Die-namics and Stamp set. Before you try to guess, I will admit that I am old enough to remember this type of phone! If that hasn't aged me enough, this should. All week I have been singing Blondie's Call Me and Hanging on the Telephone! LOL I guess this Die-namics set just brings back the memories!

I used the Ring Me Die-namics with a print from Simple Stories Happy Day collection. I popped up the rotary part of the phone on dimensionals. I added a little heart from the Notched Tag Die-namics set. It is the perfect size to fit inside the smaller circle. I used the D'vine Swirl embossing folder on the Fossil card stock. The Very Vanilla card stock is SU's Textured. I finished off the card with a bit of paper piercing and a few Basic Grey Brads. 

I know you will all be very surprised by my next card as I used the new Botanical Beauty Die-namics! You probably didn't know that I really liked this new Die-namics set! LOL I don't know what it is about this set of Die-namics but I just LOVE it! I should mention that this card is a really odd size. It is 6" x 4 1/2". The Botanical Beauty Die-namics is quite large when you use all three layers. I couldn't fit all three flowers on a regular sized card.

 
I used a number of prints from October Afternoon's Sidewalks collection for this card. I paired them with Black Licorice card stock. I used dimensionals between each of the Botanical Beauty layers. I just used a glue dot for the black insides of the flowers.

The sentiment comes from the Ring Me stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a flag created with the First Place Ribbon Award Die-namics. On the inside of the card I also used the new Vertical Greetings Die-namics die. I finished off the card with a piece of Black Gingham ribbon.
