For this weeks MFTWSC sketch I decided to ink up the fabulous Always Time for Tea Die-namics and stamp set. I just love this set!  I used My Mind's Eye, Lost & Found Rosy patterned paper along with Sour Apple and Hot Fudge card stock. Yes, that's right, MFT is carrying it's fabulous card stock again! I love the thickness and the vibrant colors of MFT card stock and I am so thrilled that it is available again! I stamped the sentiments on a piece of X-Press It card stock. I used the Oval Tab Die-namics die for the sentiment on the front of the card and the Layered Labels Die-namics on the inside. I also used the Stacked Open Scallop Die-namics die. I finished off the card with a bit of stitching and a bit of bling.

Here are the details for the weekly MFTWSC challenge. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation.  You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish.  Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch.  All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process.  After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher.  If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!  That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along.

For this weeks sketch I decided to ink up the fabulous new PI Firefighter Boy. I think this little guy is just adorable, as his female counterpart, PI Firefighter Girl. During the recent teasers, I used the two sets together but today I decided just to use the little guy. I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored the image with Copics. I used some Wild Cherry and Black Licorice card stock. The patterned paper is from Echo Park's For the Record Collection.

The sentiment on the front of the card was stamped on a flag created with the First Place Ribbon Award Die-namics. One the inside of the card I used the Layered Labels Die-namics dies. I finished off the card with a little fire extinguisher.

Each month the MFT Design Team is given a Creative Challenge, this months challenge is all about babies! Be sure to check out Kim's Blog to see the full list of designers participating in today's challenge. I know there will be a ton of fabulous baby projects for you toenjoy!I decided to make a baby card to add to my stash. I like to have a few extra cards on hand just in case I don't have time to make one when I need one! Other than the Aqua Blue satin ribbon, I tried to keep the card fairly gender neutral. I wanted to be able to use it for a girl or a boy.

I used mostly Die-namics on this card. I started with the Layered Hearts Die-namics. I know I use this die a lot but I really like it! I used the By the Letters Die-namics to spell out baby. I cut the letters out in Snow Cone and the patterned paper. I placed the patterned paper just slightly off the Snow Cone to create a bit of a shadow. This is a great way to add a bit of extra dimension to your letters.
Along the bottom of the card I used the Notched Tag Die-namics die. I just love that cute little jumper!
I used the same Die-namics on the inside of the card. The sentiment comes from the à la modes Oh Baby stamp set. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Blink of an Eye collection. The card stock is Fossil and Snow Cone.

This weeks TCPTUES 196 Challenge is an inspiration challenge. Jen, has a fabulous inspiration piece for us to work from. It's filled with lots of bright, sunny colors and some yummy sweets. As soon as I saw the inspiration piece I knew just what I wanted to create. I used the new Gimme Some Sugar set for the sentiments and the sentiment flag. The lollipop sticks are also from the Gimme Some Sugar set. I used the stamp that was supposed to be a pole. It was the perfect size!
To create the lollipops were created using Jody's Large Sticky Dots and Divine Twine. I placed a sticky dot on a piece of card stock and then I paper pierced a hole in the center of the dot. Using a large needle, I threaded the twine through the hole, I then secured the end of the twine at the back of the circle. I wrapped the twine around and around on the sticky dot. When I came to the end, I trimmed the end of the twine and secured it to the back of the circle. I think they look yummy enough to eat! LOL

I kept the inside veery simple as well. Just the sentiment and a few strands of the Divine Twine.
