Nate Dogg Charged With Stalking

According to recent reports, LA prosecuters filed felony charges against Nate Dogg, who alledgeally threatened and stalked his wife.

"The rapper, whose real name is Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, was charged Monday. He was arrested last month by the California Highway Patrol after his wife claimed he was threatening her and following her as she drove on a freeway south of Los Angeles. Hale, 38, will be arraigned July 16 on felony counts of making criminal threats, stalking and a misdemeanor charge of driving while his license was suspended for a drunken driving violation. He was arrested June 23 and released on bail a day later." [Source]

I hope all goes well for Nate Dogg, but stalking and threatening your wife? There is something missing from this story! Hmmm?!? I wonder what it may be...another woman or another man! The truth shall and will come out!

Kanye Says No Anger Management

Okay, Okay! All of the talk about 'Ye's management making him get enroll in anger management classes were just rumors. Kanye blogs about the latest gossip surrounding him! Here's what he had to say:

"Do yall remember when people said my fiance was pregnant???? What happened to that rumor????? I guess after we broke up it was just forgot about???? I'm just using that as an example of how people make up stuff and everybody runs with it. I had my own family asking me about that. Now the media is saying I'm going to anger management something or 'nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah... SIIIIIIGGGHHHH! I told the media you can't make up lies about mebecause I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don't know if everyone has realized this yet but I don't do interviews if there's anything I wanna say I'll say right here on my own blog."

Usher and his son is gracing the August cover of Essence Magazine! He had a lot to say, but here's what he had say about fatherhood and marriage:

On Fatherhood: “He’s gonna admire me, he’s gonna look up to me. He’s gonna say, ‘I wanna be’ or he should say - ‘I wanna be like my father.”

On His Marriage: “They think that it was forced. I’ve heard a lot of comments like, “Oh, she trapped him.” “He got a baby by her, and then she’s married and she’s set for life.” “No. She wasn’t pregnant when I asked her to marry me. There’s some sort of huge conspiracy over this, the fact that I made these choices in my life. No I grew older. As a man, I have to take responsibility and take a hold of my life. I’m accountable for what happens to my life now.”

Master P Takes Clothing Line To Wal-Mart

I guess with all of the rising cost of food, clothing and gas, Master P is trying to give the pepople a break with clothing by taking his P. Miller clothing line to Wal-Mart.

This is a great move for P! I'm not sure if you guys are fans of Wally World, but I sure am and their prices beats most of the competitors and if it doesn't, they will match! I hope this will ease the burden of some of the struggling families!

Kanye To Anger Managemet

It seems that Kanye is finally going to get some help with his uncontrollable temper tantrums!

He is reportedly enrolling into anger management classes, because his representatives are eager to resolve this issue.

A source tells The Sun, "Kanye's management team came up with the idea. His mood swings were beginning to play a part in his commercial enterprises as people felt he was miserable all the time." [Source]

Souljah Boy Ends Fued With Ice-T

The fued between Souljah Boy and Ice-T is reportedly over. If you can recall Ice-T's radio interview last month, where he called Souljah Boy's music "garbage!"

According to AllHipHop.com, Souljah Boy says, ""it's over with for me." He goes on to say:

"Basically comments were made (by Ice-T) and I had to defend myself. The GZA (of Wu-Tang Clan) had said something about me one time and 50 (Cent) jumped in it. And this time it was Ice-T and Kanye jumped in it. It's the new hip-hop sticking together and I love it. Look how many people came out with records last year: Party Like a Rockstar, A Bay Bay, Wipe Me Down. He (Ice-T) chose me because out of all those records, mine was the biggest one. I'm glad this ridiculous 'beef' between the two is over, because I feel that beef is a cop out for people to express how they feel about each other! Why don't these rappers just handle the issure like men--face-to-face?

I have stumbled across a video where 50 Cent avoiding a direct question about his track You So Tough, where everyone who has listened to the track knows that he is talking about T.I.! However, in this video Curtis says that it is for the world to decide if he is talking about T.I. or not.

I feel that Curtis is being a coward and should either fess up or shut up! What are your opinions?

Kanye is invading the fashion world. He has revealed to Women's Wear Daily (WWD) that he has teamed up with Louis Vuitton to help design a collection of men's shoes. Also, he is currently working on signature line of women's wear that's set to debut this coming fall.

I'm sure Kanye's unique fashion taste will be a great addition to the Louis Vuitton's men's shoes and his women's wear will be a perfect fit in today's ever changing fashion trends!

The Velvet Teddy Bear tied the knot on yesterday (Saturday) to Surata Zuri McCants during a 30-minute ceremony in Birmingham. There was no singing in the sacred ceremony, only vows, prayers, scripture and music from a string ensemble.

"The bride wore a white and ivory Casablanca wedding gown. The groom wore a custom-made black tuxedo, white vest and a white hand tied bow tie. And like the bride and groom, the wedding party and most of the the 300 or so family and friends were dressed in black and white." - The Birmingham News

The newlyweds will make Birmingham their home and Ruben is gearing for an album release later this year!

Death Row Records Auctioned Off

The label record once owned by Suge Knight was auctioned off yesterday (Wednesday) for $24 million. The money will go toward paying off debts accumulated over the years.

In addition to Global Music Group's president Susan Berg getting the label, she also gets 20 unreleased Tupac songs. [Source]

Nelson Mandela celebrated his 90th birthday by hosting a private dinner party attended by celebrity A-listers and world leaders in London's Hyde Park.

There will also be a concert in Hyde Park on Friday to continue the celebration. Performers include Amy Winehouse, Will Smith, Queen with Paul Rodgers, Razorlight, Annie Lennox and Simple Minds.

It is official, Ruben Studdard is set to marry girlfriend at a Birmingham area church on Saturday.

A representative for the former "Idol" confirmed to The Associated Press on Tuesday that Studdard, 29, plans a Saturday wedding. He and Surata Zuri McCants, 30, took out a marriage license on Monday, according to court records. -The AP

Martha Stewart Banned From Britain

Martha Stewart has been banned from Britain for her 2004 conviction for obstructing justice.

The lifestyle guru was planning to visit Britain in the coming days for business engagements, but the Daily Telegraph and other British newspapers reported Friday that she was denied permission to enter because of her 2004 conviction for obstructing justice. Stewart's assistants confirmed the visa denial, but they gave no other details beyond saying they hope the decision will be reversed. - The AP

In 2004, Martha was convicted in federal court of conspiracy, obstruction of justice and making false statements related to a personal sale of ImClone Systems Inc. stock. She got a five-month prison sentence, and also served an additional five months and three weeks of home confinement.

50 Cent is to sue his ex-girlfriend for defamation after she accused him of causing the fire that burned down her New York home. His attorney Brett Kimmel says, "There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods. Besides hurting his reputation, they have a damaging impact on their son." 50's attorney is due to argue the case in court on Friday. The star will not be in attendance for the court hearing as he is currently on location in Louisiana for new movie Microwave Park.

Kimora Lee Simmons has hinted at her plans to wed actor boyfriend Djimon Hounsou, after revealing they are "kind of" engaged. When asked by People.com if they were engaged, she cynically replied, "Kind of." And she refused to confirm whether Hounsou had given her an engagement ring, saying "Well, kind of," before retracting the statement and adding, "Not quite."

Mariah Carey is to launch a second fragrance. Luscious Pink by Mariah Carey, the follow-up to M by Mariah Carey, is scheduled to arrive in stores in September. Carey says, "Launching my first perfume was such an amazing experience that it has inspired me to expand my fragrance collection."

Jamie Lynn Spears has given birth to a baby girl. According to People magazine reports, the baby was named Maddie Briann, with a source telling: “Just the family was there. Everyone is healthy and happy.”
