We're thrilled to announce that we've launched our first local product search integration with a major handset manufacturer: Nokia. Krillion Local Shopping is a new mobile service on Nokia Point & Find, Nokia’s augmented-reality browser on Nokia S60 devices.

Using Nokia Point & Find and Krillion Local Shopping, consumers can point their mobile phone at the UPC barcode of thousands of products, quickly locate nearby retailers that carry a specific item, determine current availability at each store, and compare prices.

So it makes perfect sense to integrate our local product search data service into the latest mobile devices. By powering local shopping on Nokia Point & Find, we can give mobile shoppers the most accurate information available today, and add unique and highly differentiated value to Nokia’s latest handsets.

Here's how it works. First, point your phone at a UPC barcode and acquire the code:

Success! We instantly give you the nearest local retailers that have that product, based on the geolocation of your phone. If there are no local stores with current product availability, we'll look for that product online and give you the best prices.

Let's say you don't have the barcode. Then you can just type in the product you're looking for, and your ZIP:
