Now it all makes sense with all the photo banning Beyonce was doing at her concert. It had nothing to do with people taking unflattering photos of her. She didn't want anyone to scoop her on baby #2. Anyways, after chopping some dates from her Mrs. Carter World Tour overseas due to exhaustion and dehydration, E! News is reporting that Blue Ivy is about to get a baby brother or sister.

That's right: Superstar supermom Beyoncé is expecting her second child with hubby Jay-Z, multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News.

The news follows rampant speculation that the "Countdown" songbird was pregnant, even as the couple remained tight-lipped about their ever-growing family.

Rumors first began churning that the Grammy winner was with child when, earlier this month, she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala wearing a custom-made Givenchy gown that deftly concealed her stomach, its bodice cinched high above the waist just as its intricate pattern made it difficult to discern any change in her silhouette.

Speculation then went into overdrive Tuesday after Beyoncé was forced to cancel her Mrs. Carter Show performance in Antwerp, Belgium, after doctors advised her to rest "as a result of dehydration and exhaustion."

The 31-year-old recently spoke out about the possibility of giving 1-year-old Blue Ivy a sibling, telling ABC News that she "would like more children" and explaining that she thinks her daughter "needs some company."

Looks like that company is coming sooner rather than later.

Congrats to the happy family!

Beyonce's rep could not be reached for comment. Jay-Z's rep had no comment.

If this is indeed true, then congrats to Bey and Jay. I'm sure some of the Beehives will be upset that she won't get to continue her tour (maybe she can film it and put it out on DVD for those of you who haven't seen it), but I say family is way more important than trying to rush out music.

OMG June can't get here fast enough. The official trailer for Dexter season 8 has finally arrived, and if you haven't seen season 7, do not read beyond what I'm about to say:

The new season will take place six months after Dexter's sister Deb killed Maria LaGuerta, and while Dexter is busy balancing life as a blood analyst, single father and serial killer, Deb is trying to come to terms with the consequences of her actions. What will also throw a wrench in their situation is a mysterious woman will come to work at Miami Metro and offer some information on Dexter's past that will change everything. It wll be sad to see this long-running series go, but at some point everything that has a beginning has an end.

GOSSIP LEGEND MICHAEL MUSTO CHOPPED FROM THE VILLAGE VOICE

Here's some sad news. I just got word that The Village Voice had to chop two of it's most prominent writers today, as legendary gossip columnist Michael Musto and the paper's restaurant reviewer Robert Sietsema were given the pink slip. Last week the paper also lost their editor Will Bourne and their deputy editor Jessica Lustig. The layoffs I'm sure are due to the fact that people are no longer leaving their homes to buy a newspaper anymore because everything has moved online.

The Village Voice has been an active newspaper since 1955, and with it's steady decline in circulation, I wouldn't be surprised if the paper will wind up closing altogether very soon. I'm not too familiar with Sietsema's writing, but as a blogger and fellow gossip columnist I have to say that I will miss the La Dolce Musto column and his legendary blind items. Since everything is moving to the web maybe he should launch his own gossip website?

DIPLO THROWS SHADE AT DAFT PUNK'S NEW ALBUM WHILE FATBOY SLIM PRAISES IT

In an interview last week with singer Sky Ferreira, French robots Daft Punk made a comment about the state of EDM music sounding too repetitive and void of personality, which pissed off Diplo to the point that he took to Twitter to trash their album Random Access Memories (read his comments at the following link) but Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim has nothing but love for their new single Get Lucky.

"I love 'Get Lucky'," said Cook. "I think it's a breath of fresh air after all that EDM, sort of Euro stuff, it's like, 'That's how good dance music can be'. That's Daft Punk's job... to kick the rest of us up the arse and go, 'Come on, it's getting a bit stale'.

"Zoe [Ball] was flicking through the album last night, but I literally just heard 20 seconds of each. I prefer the disco-y bits to the more Tron-y bits, but that's not a very full review! But well done to Daft Punk for being a breath of fresh air."

What bothered me about Diplo's comments was that he said he doesn't think kids will get Daft Punk's new album. I think if you're intelligent enough you'll get whatever people put in front of you. And even if you don't get it then maybe another music fan will break what you don't get down for you. DP are not the type of dance music artists who conform to whatever everyone else is doing so they can sell records. They are about giving their fans substance and songs that will last the test of time. You either get it or you don't, and geniuses have always been ahead of their time.

As an avid dance music fanatic I have been getting a bit annoyed with all the monotonous EDM music sounding all the same and if people who don't particularly do dance music keeps jumping on the bandwagon and producers continue to recycle the same beats for other artists, I have this fear that EDM will suffer the same fate in America as Disco.

Britney Spears sat down for an interview with Mario Lopez on Extra to talk all things Wango Tango (which she is hosting) and not only was she in high spirits, but she didn't have the dazed in the headlights look she has had in interviews as of late. What irritated me about her interview with Mario is that he was more interested in talking about her workout regimen and what she likes to eat than getting to the real tea -- which is what we can expect from her upcoming album.

Since Britney isn't saying much, will.i.am, who is executive producing the follow-up to Femme Fatale revealed to Billboard that after having a few sessions where they have been coming up with concepts, they will start working together on her new album next week.

Will says he has had a few sessions with Britney to get a sense of the real pop tart, and interviewed her to find out what's going on in her life to incorporate in her new music.

“I said, ‘Let’s talk about things you’ve done in you career, what you’re happy about. Let’s talk about spending time with your kids, let’s talk about your breakup. Let’s talk about how now you’re single, how independent you might feel.’ We started talking about all that stuff. So I said, ‘do you mind if I write this down? I don’t mean to impose but I want to interview you.’”

Britney has always given us good music to dance to, but I would like to know what's going on in her personal life. That way it will have her come across as someone we can relate to and not tightly guarded like so many mega pop stars. So far it looks like she's got it all together and I hope it comes across not only on her new album but also in her stage performances, because I miss the old fierce Britney.

Wade Robson refused to take his meds as he stopped by the Today show to discuss the allegations that he was molested from the age 7-14 by pop icon Michael Jackson. What I don't get about all of this is that he has taken the stand numerous times to defend Michael against the sexual molestation allegations and he waits four years to all of a sudden claim otherwise.

Either he was tied to a gag order and promised the world from MK by committing purgery on the witness stand, or Wade is straight up lying on TV for attention because he's fallen off the radar as of late. I even saw on TMZ yesterday that Michael's baby mama Debbie Rowe bashed Wade for his lies. Either way we will never know because Michael is not here to defend himself. Either way this is sad news and Wade is an awesome choreographer.

For someone who can't stand Drake sure doesn't mind stealing his ideas and riding his coat tail. Chris Brown has revealed that the next single he will drop from his upcoming album X will be called They Don't Know, which will feature the vocals of late R&B singer Aaliyah.

Here's what Chris, who just shot the video for the song had to say at a press conference for the BET Awards: "I just actually shot a video and I did it and the song is dedicated to all my fans, but it's called 'They Don't Know' but this song features Aaliyah."

Chris also bragged that not only will his fans and Aaliyah fans be thrilled with the finished product, but also said Aaliyah's vocals are something we've never heard: "[I got] never-before-heard vocals, all new stuff that's never been heard before," he boasted.

I'm glad you're so confident with this new track, but I have a feeling you will get the same backlash from the Aaliyah fans that Drake received earlier this year when he dropped Enough Said. Chris will also perform on June 20 at the BET Awards and X drops on July 16.

Since daytime network execs are giving away talk shows like candy, it should not come as a surprise that someone found Kris Jenner of all people interesting enough to give one to. Her talk show is about to premiere on Fox this July for a six week sneak peek (the same deal given to Wendy Williams, Bethenny Frankel, and Fran Drescher - with the previous two mentioned still holding on to their daytime shows) and word on the street is that the show is already in trouble. Apparently Kris is looking to her business partner Ryan Seacrest to pull every trick in the book to get guests on her show, because the bookers are having a hard time securing A- or even B-list celebrities. There's only so many episodes you can book your children for and I wouldn't be surprised if Kris comes up with the idea to have Kim give birth in front of a live studio audience.

I think the problem is no one likes Kris. She comes across as a thirsty ass fame whore (much more so than her daughter Kim) and while she has pimped her way to making millions for herself and her family, there are a lot of celebrities who despise the Kuntrashian klan. The minute I heard Kris was getting her own talk show I immediately said to myself that this shit won't last beyond the six weeks, and by hearing this bit of tea my point has been proven.

TNT HAS GIVEN SOUTHLAND THE CHOP

With all the chopping going on over on the major five networks, I didn't get a chance to talk about the shows currently breaking boundaries over on basic cable. After four seasons, TNT has decided to do the unthinkable and has not renewed Southland for a sixth season. For some of you thinking my math is off, fear not because Southland first appeared on NBC before TNT saved it from cancellation.

Here's the press release from TNT:

TNT has made the difficult decision not to renew Southland for another season. We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made. Executive producers John Wells, Chris Chulack and Jonathan Lisco, along with creator Ann Biderman and our partners at Warner Bros. Television, have given us five seasons of powerful, unforgettable storytelling, for which we are deeply grateful. We also want to thank the amazing cast for their impassioned, no-holds-barred performances, and the production team for their tenacity shooting on the streets of real-world Los Angeles. We wish everyone associated with Southland the very best.

Southland was hands-down one of the best cop shows I've seen on TV in a long time. I loved the visual grittiness, the excellent acting (from everyone including Regina King and Michael Cudlitz -- the latter being the best portrayal of a non-stereotypical gay man since Omar from The Wire deserves an Emmy) and the strong writing. If the prime time Emmy folk do not acknowledge this show as one of the best on TV (since they always want to praise the same shows Mad Men, Downton Abby, Homeland and Breaking Bad during every award season) there will be hell to pay.

FINAL SEASON OF WAREHOUSE 13 TO PREMIERE IN 2014

I have some good and sad news for you sci fi fans. First the good news: The Syfy network has renewed Warehouse 13 for a sixth season. The bad news is it will be it's last. Not only that, but they've decided to chop the final season to six episodes. The final season will film in Toronto this summer and will premiere in 2014.

“Warehouse 13 has been an incredible signature series for us,” said Syfy President of Original Content Mark Stern. “We are grateful to the loyal and passionate fan base and know that Jack Kenny, his gifted creative team, and outstanding ensemble cast will give them an amazing finale season.”

Isn't this the same shit they did to Eureka last year? Another great show gone to the TV wasteland, but maybe it's due to science fiction being too expensive to do on television? So that makes two shows featuring non-stereotypical gay characters getting cancelled. For those of you wondering what I am talking about, let me break it down for you. Southland, which is one of the best cop shows on TV right now was not renewed for another season. The series featured a cop who was not only gay, but not the stereotypical messes we often see on TV. Warehouse 13 features an FBI agent named Jinksy (Aaron Ashmore, above) who is openly gay. I will definitely miss both shows. I'm just glad that unlike Southland, we get some closure with Warehouse 13.

HBO GREEN LIGHTS GAY VERSION OF GIRLS

HBO has ordered eight episodes for a new gay dramedy series, which will star Broadway and Glee star Jonathan Groff (aka Zachary Quinto's boyfriend), Frankie J. Alvarez (Smash) and Murray Bartlett (Guiding Light). The untitled series will center around three friends living in San Francisco and will explore the fun and sometimes overwhelming opinions available to a new generation of gay men. The show will also star Matthew Wilkas (Gayby), but I have no idea what role he will play on the series. The untitled series, which is being described as the gay version of Girls will premiere in 2014.

Out pop singer Sir Ari Gold as usual brings the sexy to the cover art for his upcoming remix album Play My Fuckn Remix. The original track, Play My Fuckn Record is from his latest album Between The Spirit & The Flesh. The forthcoming 3D video was directed by Francis Legge (Cazwell, Adam Joseph, Colton Ford) and will drop soon.

There's also word that Ari has a documentary in the works what will look at his decade+ career as an Out pop singer long before it became mainstream to be out of the closet. No word on the list of DJ's who lent their creative juices to his project, but I will definitely keep you all posted as news develops.
