I am a self-confessed no party goer nor fan of night parties, I would rather stay home and watch movie with my family than wastes my time in the crowded place and exhausts myself in the dance floor. But yesterday was exception because of my guy friend’s invites who was fan of mixing songs during our high school days is now a freelance disc jockey. Me and couple of my high school friends went to Eastwood to witness his fantastic job in mixing different kinds of music using Vestax dj mixers and of course, to dance like crazy! We really had a great night last night. I did enjoy all music he played and mix it with other songs, he really did a great job.

Got My BPI Credit Card’s Annual Fee Waived

After my two failed requests of waiving my BPI credit card’s annual fee last month, they finally waived it today. I am such a happy girl! This brings smile to my face as this means 1,550 savings on my part. So, the two customer representatives I was able to talked to last month were correct. I thought all along that they just don’t feel like to waived my annual fee even though I have a good record and pay my bills weeks before it’s due date and in full. When I attempted to have it waived last month they had just advised me to call again when the membership fee is due. Contrary to the posts I have read in different forums that they were able to waived their annual fees months before it’s due.

So I tried to call again today, after I saw the fee already reflected on my account online. Unlike my past two calls, the conversation I had today was smooth and only takes me some minutes to have it approved. But I don’t really requested to waive my annual fee. I just told her that I would like to cancel my card in a friendly tone. Then, the customer rep asked me why I wanted to give up the card, I told her that I already have a new card from Metrobank and I don’t want to keep two cards. But I also told her the truth that I don’t want to pay the annual fee. Then, I was offered that if they waive the annual fee, will I keep the card? I didn’t answer her question yet, instead I asked her when can I get to know if the waive is approved. She holds me for seconds and when she gets back, there’s no more to worry, they have waived my annual fee already!

A Baker In The Making

Exactly two weeks from now is my boyfriend’s big day. Yeah, big day because he is turning the big 3-0. I’m sure he will get angry with me for spilling out his age. Well, age is just numbers and by seeing him in person you wouldn’t notice that he will be turning 30 in two weeks. And since it will be his big day, I want to give him something special and personalized present. My best friend’s advice is to bake him a cake. And guess what? That is what I am going to do. But since I am no good baker, I am browsing hundreds of tutorials over the net right now. Familiarizing myself with sieving of flours using strainer and taking notes of necessary equipment needed to make cakes.

Well, I guess, one day wouldn’t be sufficient to learn the basic of cake making, good thing there are still two weeks to learn everything. Well, wish me luck.

Mika is asking me to accompany her today in Divisoria to have some bonding moment and also buy for some stringing, tools, and wholesale beads that she will going to use in making beads accessories. This friend of mine has been making bracelets, necklace and earrings out of beads since we were in high school. Back then, most of her clients are our fellow class mates, schoolmates and friends. Now, couple of known accessories boutiques in the malls is her steady customers. I am so proud of her.

Netbook’s New Accessory

Since this energy-sucking hot weather started, I become less productive on my online tasks, and I blame it on this ridiculous hot weather we’re experiencing today. Because of the hot weather and the heat that comes from my netbook, I can no longer stay in front of my netbook for hours. So, unfortunately, my online earnings started to lessen as well. But this should not be a hindrance. That’s why yesterday, I bought a laptop cooler from CD-R King. It costs me Php280 only. However, the fan is not producing a gusty air than I thought. Oh well, what would I expect for a cheap price?

On another note, Lenard & I are planning to see the “The Avengers” tomorrow and we will bring my 4 year old niece with us. He’s been asking this for days. So that’s it!
